I feel like your wedding photographer is probably at the top of being the most important vendor you could have. And I am so incredibly grateful we found Kari. Right from the beginning, she was so easy to talk to and her work is just perfection. I feel like its important to be comfortable with your photographer as they are the ones that will be right next other you all day and you’ll be speaking to them before, during, and after the wedding. And Kari is honestly so supportive throughout the whole process. Knowing that we are planning a wedding out of state, she was easy to communicate with. We went through timelines, talked about what shots we wanted, and looked through some of her previous work to see if there were any “must have” similar shots.
It’s also the small touches - she reached out to us on our “engagement-versary”, messaged us on our “date-versary” and was just such a cheerleader on social media. Even though we didn’t actually meet her until our wedding day, it was like we knew her already. She got allllll of the shots and more. Posed pictures are nice, but it’s the candid shots that make our hearts soar, and she and her team got the best of the best. Her work product is amazing and working with her was just so easy and stress free. -

Best Decision We've Ever Made
I honestly can't say enough positive things about Kari and her team and all they did for us on our wedding day. She not only perfectly captured the essence of our love, our story and our day but was such a calming presence and lifeline for us when things inevitably became stressful. She was able to flawlessly corral our large and rowdy group on numerous occasions while also fading into the background to the point we forgot she was 3 feet away from us. Her team took it to the next level with us when some of our other vendors missed things by not only noticing them but taking care of them before I noticed (as in lighting hundreds of candles 40 minutes before our reception started). Kari, Faith and Jen were heaven sent for us on our day and afterwards and we can't recommend them enough. They've earned clients for life from us! -

My wedding photos from Kari were everything I could have ever asked for. She has a gift for capturing pure magic in her photos! She is a joy to work with, and honestly felt more like a stylish fairy godmother than a photographer. She made me feel like my wedding day was just as important to HER as it was me, and my husband Blake and I both felt special, comfortable, and confident every step of the way. Kari is a gift that would bless any bride. -

Perfect Day
Kari was all I could ever ask for in a photographer. Right from the first time I met with her I knew she was organized and professional. I wanted someone who would take honest and candid pictures of all the special moments throughout the day and she did it perfectly. Half the time I didn't even notice her taking photos during the wedding and I was just able to enjoy each special moment. I was counting down the days until I got the photos back and the wait was so worth it. The photos are absolutely stunning. She was able to capture every emotion on our faces and I still cry looking at the photos. She was the most friendly and helpful person and I would absolutely 100% recommend her to anybody looking for a photographer. -

Choosing Kari to be our wedding photographer was probably the easiest decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid, and Kari was the first vendor we contacted to secure for our new date, because we couldn’t imagine our big day without her! Kari has a very genuine way of making you (& your significant other) feel so special, and this is one of the many qualities we adore about her. We felt this throughout the entire process - from our first meeting to the engagement shoot, thoughtful gifts along the way, and of course, on wedding day! Kari captured our wedding day and the immense amount of love surrounding us so perfectly, and we will always remember that giddy feeling of seeing our sneak peek and full gallery for the first time! Those memories and the pictures are something that we will cherish forever. Not only did her pictures completely blow us away, but she also saved the day and prevented a full blown bridal meltdown when I had a malfunction with my dress. She truly does it all, and our entire wedding experience would not have been the same without her (and her amazing assistant, Faith). Please do yourself a favor and book KDP for your wedding, you absolutely will not regret it! -

Kari is the absolute best with an incredible eye for detail!
I can’t even put into words how much I appreciated Kari on our wedding day! Not only is her work breathtaking, she has a quality that puts you right at ease. The morning of my wedding I was so nervous, but Kari requests details upfront that allow her to assist you throughout the day. Everyone in my wedding party commented how kind and fun Kari was, as well as her team. Thank you Kari for the incredibly beautiful images that make me want to live our wedding day over and over! -

Working with Kari was a dream come true! As an Event Planner, I meet so many different photographers, but as soon as I got engaged I had to contact Kari! Her style is so bright and crisp and elegant and she has always been such a joy to work with while shooting my clients weddings. It was such an easy decision to chose her to be a part of our big day! She was so calm the day of, which made everyone else calm so we were able to enjoy every moment. After seeing our photos, we couldn't be happier. They are everything we wanted! I wish I could give Kari 10 stars because that's how many she deserves! She captured every moment of our wedding beautifully and was definitely our favorite vendor from our wedding. She is amazingly talented, professional, and also very sweet! Even though we didn’t meet Kari until our wedding day she went above and beyond to make us feel special by mailing us surprises before and after our wedding. -

We looked at quite a few wedding photographers, but always had our hearts set on Kari as soon as we saw her photos. Her photos were so beautiful yet very genuine and organic and we knew that's the style we were looking for. Once we met Kari, it was game over. She is so organized and thorough and the last thing we wanted to worry about on our wedding day was making sure we got all of the photos we wanted (and didn't know we wanted). Kari took care of everything, but did so in such a calming way! When my mom and I were feeling behind and rushed, Kari calmly said "don't worry, we have plenty of time for the pictures you want." Who knew our photographer would also be the calming voice we needed on our wedding day! :-)
We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos AND, as a bonus, we got to see her again at my husband's sister's wedding. She is such a kind and thoughtful person (which shows during the entire wedding planning process) and it was so great to see her (and her sweet daughter Paige) again. Can't recommend her highly enough! -

I am usually skeptical when someone has 100% 5 star reviews online like Kari does. There has to be SOMEONE who doesn't think the service is worth 5 stars. This is not the case with Kari. Kari is more deserving of 5 stars than any individual I have ever interacted with. She is the utmost professional who takes the most amazing photos I have ever seen. She makes everyone feel comfortable but makes them look beautiful in her photos. I have been saying since our engagement session (and even more so since the wedding) that if you are going to splurge on ONE thing, make it the photographer. And make it Kari. You will have jaw dropping photos that you will be able to look back on for decades. She was worth every penny. -

I thoroughly researched all the options and am so thrilled we made the decision we did. Kari was our wedding photographer and despite not meeting her in person until the day of our wedding, her relaxed, comforting personality made it feel like we'd known her for years. Kari clearly has a wealth of experience under her belt as she calmly wrangled our large family for portraits, and took the time to check in with my husband and I to make sure we weren't feeling overwhelmed. She helped keep everyone on schedule and most importantly, calm. Kari truly spoils her clients with many sweet, sweet surprises along the way leading up to and after the wedding (she sent us an adorable treasure chest of prints from our wedding, we completely adore it!). We absolutely love our photos and will cherish them for years to come. Thank you, Kari!!!
