Karen's professionalism and expert experience was immediately apparent when we met for my bridal makeup trial. She created a gorgeous look, combining inspo pics that I had for reference with techniques and colors that she knew would work best for my skin type, coloring, etc... She made it a no-brainer to book her as my MUA for my wedding. From the day of my trial to my actual wedding day (which were nearly a year apart), Karen was very responsive and always easy to contact. Answering any of my questions, listening to any adjustments I wanted to make from my trial look, and creating a clear and thoughtful wedding day glam timeline well in advance, she was by far the easiest vendor to deal with!
But on to (most importantly) the big day... My wedding day makeup was better than I could have ever imagined. I am not exaggerating when I say everything about it was perfection. Not only did I look and feel like an absolute queen, but Karen definitely passed the vibe check as well. Her glam timeline was on point, which alleviated a lot of potential stress, and getting my makeup done was so fun and relaxing with her. She made it very easy to trust her while she was doing her thing and I truly got to enjoy getting ready with my friends and family because of that. She also did an amazing job on my bridal party. From my 15 year old niece who was a jr. bridesmaid to my mom who is 65, everyone looked (and felt!) amazing.

I hired Karen for my wedding after seeing how beautiful my friend looked at her wedding. She was lovely and fun to work with, and she really listens — she'll go as natural or as glam as you want. My final look was polished and photo-ready but I still looked like myself in the mirror. My mom, who wears minimal makeup, also looked so beautiful as did my mother in law. She offers a nice variety of packages with fair pricing! -

I recently hired Karen for my wedding. She did myself and 5 additional girls, including my mother and mother in law. Karen was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. I was unable to schedule a trial due to my personal scheduling conflicts, but I provided Karen with my inspiration and she made sure to ask as many questions as possible to achieve my vision. On the day of Karen arrived right on time and had all of the essential tools that she needed to successfully work. Karen’s work was absolutely amazing. All of the girls loved their makeup and I could not be happier with mine as well. Karen was an absolute joy to have on the day of the wedding and she ran things seamlessly. Karen didn’t just do my makeup — she truly elevated my entire wedding experience. She understood exactly what I wanted, refined every detail with intention, and made sure the final look felt authentically ‘me.’ (& you get to use one of the prettiest mirrors ever for the reveal!) The makeup held up beautifully through happy tears, photos, and an entire night of celebrating. Beyond her skill, she creates an atmosphere where you feel grounded and genuinely cared for. I’m so grateful to have had her as part of my day and I can’t recommend her enough for anyone looking for someone who truly cares about both the craft and the person in her chair. -

I absolutely loved working with Karen for my wedding makeup. I originally had a trial where I realized I wanted a bit more coverage and fuller lashes, and she listened so thoughtfully and delivered exactly what I envisioned on the day of. The soft glam look she created felt elevated and special, but still like me in the best way.
Karen was warm, fun to talk to, and just had this calming energy that made the morning feel easy and enjoyable. She was so attentive to detail and checked in with me throughout to make sure everything felt right. By the time I walked down the aisle, I felt confident, beautiful, and completely myself.
I would recommend Karen in a heartbeat to any bride. She truly knows how to listen, adjust, and bring a vision to life. So grateful I had her as part of my day! -

Karen did an incredible job with my make up I would book her again in a heartbeat. I had very high expectations as someone who loves make up myself. I also wanted a very glamorous look. Karen nailed it. My bridesmaids and mom wanted more of a natural look, she nailed that too. She was so professional she actually got an injury right before my wedding and still did not let me down for one moment. She still showed up, still did my make up perfect. During my make up trial I gave her feedback and some subtle changes (which I was nervous to do), she was so comfortable with this and SO supportive of the make up look I wanted. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family. -

I can’t even begin to explain how much I love Karen and Laura! 💕 They did my makeup (and my bridesmaids’ and family’s) for my wedding, and having them there truly made the morning so special. They’re not just insanely talented — they’re the kind of people who make you feel calm, confident, and completely taken care of.
Even though I’ve known and worked with them for almost 5 years, they still gave me the same care and attention they’d give anyone walking into their chair for the first time. That’s what I love most about them — they truly care about how you feel, take their time to make sure everything is perfect, and somehow make you feel like the most flawless version of yourself while still feeling totally like you.
Having them there as both my artists and my friends made the whole experience even more special. They’re amazing people and even more amazing artists — I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without them! ❤️ -

She was the makeup artist for my wedding, and not only did she do an absolutely stunning job on my makeup, but she also made my entire bridal party look and feel incredible. Not only is Karen great at her job, but she is also someone you want by your side. Two days before my wedding I had a spray tan nightmare. Karen was one of my most memorable vendors on and leading up to my wedding day. Its often not discussed how much your make up artist helps you plan your day and is involved in the events leading up to your wedding. I did my makeup trail with Karen before my Bridal Shower which was so nice of her to do early on a Sunday morning. It was great to see what my makeup looked like in pictures. 10/10. She sent me recommendations for 3 months out prep, and week of prep. She put together out getting ready timeline built into my photographers timeline and coordinated with my hairstylist to make sure it all worked together. And lastly, but most importantly, she made every single one of us look STUNNING. The best versions of ourselves! I am so happy I had Karen on every step of my engagement journey and on my wedding day. I will continue my relationship with Karen as my go-to beauty guru through married life!! -

Makeup is so far from my comfort zone, so it was very important to find a makeup artist that took the time to talk through the process and helping me find the right look. Karen has a wide variety of knowledge and experience with makeup. She was able to answer any questions and when I told her to do whatever she thought would look best, she did not disappoint! Not to mention, it was an absolute joy being in her chair. She made an effort to get to know you and make you feel comfortable. Even the month in between our trail and the wedding day, she would occasionally check in to see how I was still feeling about the makeup. When I asked for a second trail to try out a few changes, Karen was super flexible and understanding.
On the day of the wedding, Karen’s attention to everyone individually and organization was evident. Everyone's makeup looked flawless till the very end of the night. We were dancing, sweating, eating and drinking and there was not a single eyelash out of place. I felt so confident throughout the day and couldn't be happier to see myself in all the pictures. Which is not always the case for me! -

Karen has been my esthetician for almost 10 years and this was the first time I had to luxury of having her do my makeup for my brothers September wedding on Cape Cod. If you are looking for someone who listens to your needs and will make you feel so beautiful on your wedding day, then you need to book Karen Attardo! I would highly recommend Karen for your makeup and skincare needs for your wedding weekend! I was referred to Karen through a friend after I had a horrific trial experience with another vendor. After talking with her and explaining my situation, she was kind, understanding, empathetic and flexible. She was also extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process and communicated with my hair vendor as well to ensure the timelines matched up. I don’t wear a ton of makeup and wanted a natural and classic yet elevated look. She took everything into consideration and I loved my trial and day of makeup look! We made a few modifications to the lip but that was all! All my bridesmaids and mothers were so happy with their makeup on the day of as well- she listened to their needs and did what they wanted! She was on time and kept us all in line getting ready the morning of our wedding. I regret not booking Karen from the start as it was such an easy process working with her and I was so happy with the final looks! Karen was amazing and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the New England area! -

Karen is the only person I will let touch my face. I have been going to her as an esthetician for years, and she is so kind, funny and educated about beauty. I was so delighted when I found out that she also did wedding makeup.
Karen worked with me step by step, helping me plan pre wedding treatments and helping me get an idea of what I might want for a wedding look. I'm not someone who wears makeup everyday, so the expertise was so helpful.

Karen made my wedding makeup dreams come true! I don’t wear much makeup, but Karen did an amazing job of making me feel bridal while also feeling like myself. My makeup lasted all day throughout hours of taking pictures in the July sun, and through lots of (sweaty) dancing! She provided a touch up kit that was such a thoughtful detail, including several helpful makeup essentials and a full sized lipstick! She did such an amazing job keeping us on schedule, while also remaining relaxed and making us all feel comfortable! Everybody loved their makeup, and couldn’t stop talking about how fun our morning was. I could not recommend her enough! -

Karen was absolutely amazing! From the moment i inquired about her services she made me feel comfortable and excited about my big day. She listened to me and took everything into consideration during my trial and then executed the most beautiful makeup day of. I woke up the day over with a stress reaction leading to a puffy eye and she worked pure magic to the point that you couldn't even tell there was an issue. The getting ready room was chaotic, and she rolled with everything and kept everyone calm. Perhaps even more important than her amazing makeup done for me, she made every single one of my favorite women feel beautiful, including my grandmother (who won't stop talking about how much she loved being pampered by Karen).

I've been a part of a wedding that Karen did the bridesmaids makeup and ended up hiring her for my own big day. She was super professional, prompt, very communicative, and fit right in with our bridal party. We had so many laughs on the actual wedding day, telling stories, and it just made the vibes of the getting ready party stress free as could be. I keep getting compliments from the girls on how much they loved her and want to work with her again. My sister in law said it's her favorite professional makeup she's ever had and was SO sad to have to take it off at the end of the night. Karen took everyone's requests on their own 'look' but also had the professionalism to recommend certain shadings/colorings based on skin tones/hair colors. I highly recommend hiring Karen for all makeup needs & wedding prep - from facials/waxing at Glow to day of on-site makeup, she's your girl! -

Karen was recommended to me by numerous friends that have used her services for different occasions ( birthdays, weddings, showers). Every time the make up looked amazing. Karen did my make up for my bridal shower and wedding and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! I typically don’t wear much make up so was nervous I would not look like myself but Karen listened to the things I wanted and helped me enhance my make up for the perfect wedding look. My make up lasted through a very hot summer day without smudging or looking caked on. Karen and her partner Jess had done 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms and 2 flower girls that all loved their make up (imagine that many girls getting their make up done and not one complaint!) and we all look forward to hiring Karen for future events. Karen is an expert at her craft and it is clear that she has a strong passion for what she does! At my trial she listened to what I wanted while giving me suggestions and provided me a timeless look. She really took the time to talk to me about different skin/makeup products. I have actually purchased some of the products she used. Karen was right on time the morning of my wedding. That day was totally calm and enjoyable because I knew we were in such good hands. Everyone looked beautiful and our makeup was flawless throughout a night of eating, drinking and dancing. I booked Karen to do wedding makeup for myself, 7 bridesmaids, and my mother based on seeing her work and being recommended by friends. She was quick to respond when I first reached out and sent over her contract for me to look over. When meeting with her for my makeup trial in March 2021 she was fun, so easy to talk to, and very professional. I showed her some inspiration photos and she knew what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. She spent ample time talking over products with me as well as allowing me time to speak up and make any changes that I wanted to be made. Karen encouraged me to voice my opinion and made me feel very comfortable when asking for changes to make sure my makeup was perfect. My wedding was a month later in April 2021 and Karen arrived on time, with a schedule for the day, and ready to work with all of her products. She took the time to make all of my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful, as well as completed a minimal makeup look on my mother which she loved. All of my bridesmaids were extremely happy with their makeup and felt very confident with their finished looks. Karen completed my bridal makeup in plenty of time for me to be ready for my wedding day. She took her time, made sure that I liked how I looked, and set my makeup so it lasted the entirety of my wedding day. Karen is an expert at her craft, takes her time to make sure everyone feels beautiful, and is very professional. I would recommend her to any bride out there for their bridal makeup, you’ll feel the best you’ve ever felt! -

Karen and her team were amazing. I was able to work specifically with Laura leading up to my wedding and day of. It was so special being able to build that relationship with a company like Karen's. I can't say the same for some other vendors, but Karen's team crushed it. They were professional, yet personable, fun and creative. They made sure everyone was happy with their looks and received the touch ups needed.
I was 3 months postpartum for my wedding. With that came a lot of skin issue - breakouts, dry patches, the works! By working with Karen's team, I was able to really get to know Laura, who helped me maintain a skin routine to make sure my face was at its best for the day of! Being able to work with Laura throughout the summer made seeing her on my wedding day so much more special.
Karen was great when it came to payments, communication, and overall needs. We had unexpected news halfway through wedding planning that pushed the wedding back a couple months. Most vendors would not be as flexible with date changes and would add extra charges. Karen didn't and was incredibly understanding of the situation.
15/10 recommended for makeup services!
