    I cannot thank Kanak Attack enough for all of the hard work they put in to make our wedding day so special. Working with Mike and Claudine was the best decision we could have made. We decided on a caterer pretty late in the game. Even with the wedding being so close, they were incredibly helpful in making everything come together. Mike went out of his way to travel to our wedding ( which was three hours away) and prepare the food the day of. Everything was delicious. We recieved many compliments from our guests, and even had a friend book Kanak Attack for her wedding. Thank you both, again, for all of your hard work!

    We hired Kanak Attack's food truck for our rehearsal dinner and my guests gave me a lot of compliments on the food. They were super helpful during the planning process, and day of they arrived on time and gave great service. The food truck's full service made things very simple for me!

    Kanak Attack won us over at the tasting. They were so responsive and the food was fantastic! We had so many leftovers too which was nice!! Definitely recommend.

    Their food is fabulous. We ordered extra to have leftovers and everyone ate it all. So disappointing but atleast our guests were happy. They helped with the cake cutting and serving. We had buffet and the people working it then went around and acted like waiters cleaning up after people which I didn't expect or ask for. They stayed even after they had cleaned up their area and helped clean up everything. I think they went above and beyond. Everything went perfect. I have never used a catering service before and they set a very high standard for my next daughter's wedding.

    Working with Sarah was very easy, she's very helpful and nice. The food was outstanding, and the servers that they sent not only replenished the food as necessary, but they helped clean up at the end of the night and were super friendly to all of our guests. We HIGHLY recommend them!!

    The food was delicious, they were on time to set up at my venue, the layout looked way cute... I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you guys

    Our food was delicious! Everyone loved it! They were so easy to work with leading up to the actual wedding. One great feature is you can go into their sister restaurant Ono Hawaiian Restaurant to sample any one of their catering menus which I highly recommend so you know exactly what to expect!! They were fantastic and I would highly recommend to anyone!

    Great to work with! I was in contact them many times as I kept changing my mind on the menu and they were always very helpful and kept me on budget.

    THEIR FOOD IS SOOOOO GOOD! Seriously, if you want some really good food at your wedding, hire them! We decided to go with them after tasting some samples at the Wedding Party Show in January. I told my husband how good it was and we called and put down our deposit immediately. Then we saw some review on WeddingWire and got kind of nervous. Some people said that they had been unprofessional but we had no problems with that AT ALL.

    Ashley was wonderful and stayed on site the whole time refilling the food and cutting the cake. She had the food set up and ready to go right when we had asked for and it was so so so good! We brought our own containers for leftovers, which they had warned us several times to do, and we had plenty of food leftover. We would definitely recommend Kanak to anyone and we hope we can have another event in Boise that needs to be catered so we can use them.

    Kanak Attack was able to make a custom menu for my husband and I that fit our budget and our wants! We had plenty of food, our guests went back for seconds, many people complemented the food quality and we even had some left over for family the next couple of days. :) We were very thrilled with their service and couldn't have asked for a better meal!

    We used Kanak Attack Katering for our rehearsal dinner. The food was fabulous! We wanted something more casual and fun for the rehearsal dinner. We chose the pig roast! Everything was delicious. The service was excellent too.

    Kanack Attack Katering was great! They traveled a little over 50 miles to my venue for a fair price and cooked on site at out family cabin. Everything was so tasty and fed a ton of people. My family booked them to come up again the next month for a business function! Such a cute set up and tasty tasty Hawaiian inspired food!

    The food was DELICIOUS and everyone loved it. I was disappointed about communication, we spoke to four different people about our date that was already set and each one told us something different and never communicated our plans to anyone else so we had to keep re-ordering things and re-stating things.

    I would recommend Kanak Attack mainly because the food was absolutely delicious and excellent quality for the price.
    Only a few disappointments from what I was told would happen. I was a bit disappointed with their presentation. I had always heard amazing things about their presentation and for some reason it was not presented how I was told it would, even though I had made sure & verified several times. Not a big deal though, who really pays attention to the catering table decor, it was just nothing special. I attibute most of the disappointments with the guy they hired to do our wedding. This was the same guy that was serving a wedding 2 weeks prior to ours and they ran out of plates. We waited 20 min before getting to serve our food. This was not kanak attack's fault, it was the guy they hired who needs to be retrained or something. For our wedding, he took off before letting us know and did not even leave the leftovers. He was barely there long enough for anyone to get seconds. We were sitting right near the food and my new husband got up to get another serving and caterer was already gone! We were the first to eat and they were gone! We had ordered way more servings than we ended up using so you can imagine how po'd we were to have paid at least $200-300 for food we didn't use. Kanak Attack did rectify the matter.
    Kanak attack was very kind to get us fresh batches of the meat to make up for not getting the leftovers we were promised. Just make sure you communicate strongly to the actual person doing your wedding on that day. Verifying and communicating beforehand doesn't seem to matter because the person you are making arrangments with isn't going to be there and apparently there are breakdowns in communication between employees. It's sad, but make sure you have a backup plan just in case. Our wedding was an alnight party. We were planning on being able to feast on the leftovers late into the evening, but since we were left with nothing, thank goodness we had other food around that we brought ourlselves.
    I would still recommend them because the menus are great. Just communicate strongly with the actual person at your event.

    Food was excelent, service was so so. Bartender kept leavign his bar and guests had to serve themselves.
    Hard to get ahold of someone to set things up.

    Great food, not so great servers. Make sure you meet with them multiple times and spell out exactly what you want other wise it will not happen!

    Food was great, service was terrible. I could not get a hold of anyone two weeks before my wedding. I had to leave 4 messages, and that was only when their voicemail would let me leave one. They were late getting to the venue, so they were setting up when my guests arrived. After we left the venue, they took off before cleaning up, and it wasn't until the next day that I heard my parents and guests had to stay late to clean the tables. Also, during my first meeting they told me they had a liquor license, and a week before the wedding when I got a hold of them they told me it was only a beer and wine license. I have no idea how they were planning on making the rum punch we talked about without rum.

    They were terrible, everything that could have went wrong on their part did. Food temperature and quality from our sampling session was fabulous. What we were served was undercooked pig and over cooked chicken in chalky barbecue sauce. They were late, underprepared (hence the horrible food), very unprofessional, intrusive (plugging in the rotisserie with a large yellow power cord on the inside of the RV I was getting ready in. We told them there was no electricity and was assured that they would bring a power source to run it. No lids to cover the food, not enough propane to finish cooking the pig, snide remarks from the head staff member about being tipped and not bringing containers to package the leftovers in. The leftovers were inedible anyways. After all was said and done, we tried to contact Kanak Attack about our experience and were ignored.

    The food was great. I loved the food...BUT they never showed back up to pick up the dishes and containers the food was served in...We had to stay 2 hours to clean up and we had to move the table and all the chaffing dished back to my house and it took them over two weeks to finally come pick it up! I had to go down to there restuarant and talk to the manager before some one came and picked it up... It was not cool!

    Food was food though except the pulled pork as soooo salty but when we re-heated it and ate it later it was fine.
