Julia is the best. She did the flower and décor for my daughters wedding in Rancho Mirage, Ca. We were dealing with extreme temperatures and the flowers were beautiful. The reception venue which holds many wedding said it was the most beautiful wedding flowers they have ever seen! I can't say enough!Julia is the best. Julia is the nicest, sweetest, caring most helpful person during the stressful time of planning a wedding. There aren't enough kind words in the dictionary to describe Julia and Kallisto events. Prior to the wedding I was blown away by her level of professionalism and willingness to help in anyway possible. She listened to all my ideas, and crazy requests and planned an event suitable for the stars! She truly took my vision for my wedding and transformed it into a reality that was 1000 times more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Her attention to detail and outstanding creativity makes her so amazing at her job. The pride she takes in her work shows in the perfection she creates with everything she touches! I hired Kallisto for my wedding over 5 years ago and I still have people who call me to find out who I used because they remember how beautiful it was. Julia and her team of amazing of professionals not only creating a stunning backdrop for my wedding, they set the tone of the entire day and I am forever grateful for all that they did. Julia Hill and the design team of Kallisto Events are so much more than just a wedding florist. They are an inventive, full package event design team. Sure, they create beautiful bridal party bouquets and gorgeous centerpieces, but they can also transform your event space with top to bottom decor. My wedding design inspiration was "old world european, classic, french influenced, garden party"... a mix of ideas, right? After talking to Julia about what "feel" I wanted, and going through some inspiration photos with her, she understood the vibe I was looking for and took of running. Julia took my invitation theme of calligraphy and the Fleur de Lys symbol, and threaded it through the entire event. The flowers were refined, grand, and beautiful while still having a friendly garden party feel. She created the most elegant popcorn bar you can imagine. Every idea I had, she executed beyond my wildest imagination. I saw these floral chandeliers that were incredible, but that I couldn't afford, so she made out of babies breath... and then she integrated them into a showpiece with chandeliers I had found, all hanging above the aisle for my entrance to the ceremony. It was magical. She used little Fleur de Lys charms in the boutonnieres. Our ceremony "altar" was decorated with beautiful ferns that she had added roses and other flowers to ... stunning.
I learned that it was best to trust her judgement and let her run with her designs, since what she came up with was better than anything I could have thought of myself (and she always kept it within our original discussions about the look and feel we wanted). The entire design of the wedding was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I wish I could post pictures here for you to see!
