Great experience!
K2 Productions provided a great DJ and great music for our son’s wedding. I highly recommend them and will be using them again for my daughter’s wedding in April. -

Mark was just awesome! Very chill, down to Earth and provided great music options and opinions. I gave him my "vision" and "feel" of the party and he came up with an awesome playlist. All I told him was the genre of the music and about the time. I elected to go with 90s to early 2000s and he knocked it out of the park. I had trouble coming up with music for the ceremony and entrances and he gave me a couple good options.
His set up was clean and did not take up much space. The speakers were loud and it kicked for such a small compact set up.
I highly recommend K2 Productions for the services you get and the value of the service. -

Mark is absolutely amazing and is really worth anyone's time and money if they are looking for a DJ for any event. We had Mark as our Wedding DJ/MC on June 2, 2018 and he did not disappoint. From the beginning to end, he was super thoughtful and considerate and if you left something out of your agenda, he followed up to make sure that it wasn't on purpose. He got the crowd so hyped up and everyone had so much fun! I received so many compliments after the wedding that the music was great and that they had so much fun. I really give props to Mark to giving life to the crowd and for all his flexibility. Definitely a great person to work with and I couldn't have ask for a better DJ. =) -

Mark Yuen was excellent to work with, he was extremely flexible, and quick to respond to all my emails and last minute changes. I used Mark as my DJ for both the wedding ceremony and the reception. I received a lot of positive feedback from my guests on how great Mark was in his DJing ability. They mentioned how smoothly he was able to transition the songs, especially ones that were requested, he knew all the parts of a song where the audience knew the lyrics and Mark would lower the volume of the singing while maintaining the volume of the song's music so that our guest could sing along. I highly recommend Mark for your wedding or any event, no need to research or look for anyone else, he was the best! -

K2 Productions was amazing to work with for our wedding. He was recommended by a friend since I was in need a reliable DJ with great value. Mark the DJ was very attentive when we spoke. He blocked off the date long before we even gave a deposit. He let us sample his work to make sure we understood his style via Google Drive. My fiance and I listened to his songs and transitioned and were satisfied. Mark was very easy to get along with and worked well with our wedding coordinator. Mark was very kind and professional throughout the whole process and day of our reception. He made sure our list of songs were played and had everyone on the dance floor the whole night. I highly recommend Mark and K2 Productions for weddings and any other special event. -

Great service. I must've changed the playlist at least 5x including the weekend before my reception, and Mark did an exceptional job in choosing the right songs to transition from the oldies for the older generation to contemporary for the younger generation. Everyone was happy and dancing all night. -

Responsive, affordable, and professional DJ. The service was well-executed and we can't be happier. We provided him with the list, and after multiple changes, he still as the patience to work with us. When we forgot about the recession song, he reminded us. He arrived on time and I didn't have to worry about one thing from his end. One less thing to worry about during our hectic but loving day. Well worth the month, definitely will refer him to families and friends. -

Best DJ and by far the most easy going vendor we had!!! There were no issues and Mark did a great job at addressing our concerns! Mark assured us that when playing songs he doesn't play a song long enough for people to get bored, he has a great variety of music to fit any occasion, can include any songs requested, can fit music perfectly to the events, and can even emcee! HE DELIVERED ON EVERYTHING! We had issues with almost every other vendor, but Mark did a fantastic job and really made our night memorable! We even had a shoe game that he had never heard of, but after giving him a script, he ran with it and we had a blast! Choose K2 for your wedding and you won't be disappointed! -

Our friends AND family LOVED Mark! We did not know exactly what kind of music that we wanted at our wedding, but we knew what kind of music we liked. We provided a list of songs and the type of music we wanted to hear and Mark executed it. Mark did an spectacular job at keeping the dance floor alive and had everyone on the dance floor ALL NIGHT!! Mark was an amazing DJ. I've known him for a long time and the wedding guests enjoyed him. It was a daytime wedding and I was wondering if people would really dance, but people were dancing to the end! Mark was able to engage the crowd he was dj-ing for and keep them dancing. I highly recommend K2 Productions. -

Mark did a great job at our wedding. He provided music during the ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, he played our song choices for the processional and recessional and also provided a mic and mic stand for the officiant. He had a total of two wireless mics for us to use during the ceremony and reception. For the reception, we sent Mark a list of our preferred songs and a "do not play" list. He did a great job of keeping to our list and incorporating the music genres we requested. All of our guests loved his music choices and transitions. Mark also did a great job MC'ing our reception and kept with our timeline.
Before the wedding, Mark was super responsive with all of our emails. We highly recommend him as a wedding DJ! -

Mark did a great job at our wedding, from beginning to end. At the start, we had a lot of questions... but after a couple of emails and conversations, he was able to address all our concerns. The only thing we were worried about was walking through your wedding rehearsal without the music. When it came down to the day of our wedding, he transitioned all our songs flawlessly (i.e. different songs for the grooms, bridesmaids, flower girls, and the bride). He was also able to address another issue regarding our set up, which was moving a speaker out to the tent which was 125 ft away from the DJ table. In the end, he played our entire playlist and was able to fill in with other songs to get the guests dancing all night. Overall, Mark did a fantastic job with the ceremony, the reception, and the after party... according to my (now) wife, Mark "rocked it". -

DJ Mark was so awesome! He was willing to travel to two different locations for my ceremony and reception. He is so easy to work with and very accommodating to my bridal party when they did there introduction dances. He's very responsive to my e-mails. I would recommend DJ Mark for your wedding! -

Mark was absolutely amazing at my wedding this past Saturday! Music is such a huge part of a wedding from the cocktail hour, to dinner and then to dancing the night away on the dance floor. The entire night Mark was able to read the crowd and knew exactly what song to play to get people up and dancing. Before the wedding we had spoken with Mark a few times and gave him a brief idea of what we wanted. For cocktail hour we wanted upbeat background music and after dinner we wanted people up and dancing. Mark met and then exceeded our expectations. He was able to play songs that all generations knew and loved. He seamlessly blended one song into another and made sure the dance floor was always full, which is just what we wanted. I knew I wanted the music to help set the tone for the wedding a Mark did exactly that. Mark was always professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him for your wedding, or any event where you need a DJ. -

Ks Productions did a great job. My DJ was Alex and he did a great job of being in contact with and providing all of the necessary information that my husband and I needed to make our wedding day perfect. K2 Productions also provided up lighting for are reception that truly added one of the extra special touches for our venue. -

Mark was an extremely professional DJ who did a fantastic job during our wedding. He was very patient in our song selections (we only gave him 2 days to review our list and obtain any additional music) and provided some friendly reminders on which aspects of the wedding couples typically choose specific songs for (never even realized they play music during cake cutting!). He was punctual and accommodated an above average insurance requirement for our venue without any questions. We would highly recommend him for any special events in your future. -

Mark brings tons of experience and professionalism. He is super flexible and gave us plenty of recommendations for song choices throughout the ceremony and reception. I even forgot to pay him for rest of his services at that night, and he allowed me to send him a check later on. It didn't end there, he also recorded the entire wedding's music to give us as a memento. I can't thank him enough for making our wedding night perfect. -

He did everything I asked as promised. I emailed him a million times and he always adressed each point within a day. He made last minute changes when i added an outdoor ceremony and a last minute singer without any problems. Pleasure to work with. One of the most responsive and detail oriented vendors. He even provided me with music from the wedding--a nice and unexpected bonus! -

Mark did a fantastic job at our wedding. During our planning session, he provided us with great advice and helped plan out our reception schedule. We provided a list of music types for our reception and Mark was able to quickly help define what type of music we were looking for. I've worked with Mark in the past as he's DJ'd for 5 of my friend's weddings. There's a reason why we all hired Mark as a DJ for one of the most important days of our lives. He's awesome! He's professional, replies to emails quickly, is easy-going and flexible, plays GREAT music and is a great MC too! Brides-to-be - Mark should definitely be your top choice. Mark provided DJ services for my friend's 16th birthday party and since then, he has been the DJ of choice for every party/gathering for all our friends and family ever since. He has DJ'ed at all of my friend's weddings in the past five years, so it was a given that he would be the DJ at our wedding.
My husband and I completely trusted him with the music and gave him a couple of artists that we would like to hear. The reception was a huge hit and the adults LOVED his mix of the motown hits early on....followed by 90s music, ending with DJ Tiesto songs. As an added bonus, Mark provided an MP3 file of the music at my wedding and I am jamming in my car everyday!

Mark, hands down, is the best DJ that one could ever ask for. He conducts himself in a very professional manner, is extremely responsive, is reasonably priced, is flexible with the genres of music you want played, and the contract is very straightforward. We highly advise future brides and grooms to book this guy if you want the musical portion of your wedding to be a memorable one!
Starting with wedding introductions, Mark was on point with the songs we requested and ensured that they were in-line with our itinerary. He didn't miss a beat. Through dinner service, Mark kept the crowd upbeat and mingling amongst one another with some Jazz music, ensuring that no one was lulled to sleep. As he was with the introduction, Mark was also on point with the father/bride and mother/groom dances, as well as the cake cutting.
Now to our favorite part - the dancing! Mark showed that he has a way with the crowd and always knows the type of music to play that keeps people on the dance floor. This isn't your typical "lets rotate CDs, play one song until it ends, and then play the next" DJ that we've experienced at other weddings. Mark kept the dance floor music flowing from 9pm-12am non-stop, using seamless transitions to the point that everyone thought it was a 3-hour-long track. We received so many comments from our guests that our DJ was amazing. So many guests told us the next day that their legs were sore from dancing non-stop all evening, which we also experienced when sitting on our flight to our honeymoon. Nonetheless, it was all well worth it. Thank you for the amazing evening Mark...you rocked it!!! -

Mark is an awesome! My husband and I love music. We also love to dance and are picky because we have eclectic taste in music. We knew we needed an awesome DJ to help set the tone for our big celebration and Mark is totally the man for this. We like some top 40’s too but we knew we needed someone who was versatile and knows good music, both old and new. We met Mark several years ago while attending multiple weddings and was impressed. We knew then we would book Mark when it was our time to get married. So as soon as we got engaged he was the 1st vendor we contacted after we set our wedding date and venue. Throughout our wedding planning, Mark was very helpful in answering any questions and always responded in a timely manner. We met with Mark four weeks before our wedding to touch base. We went over any questions we had and showed him our music request list so he could get a sense of our style and taste in music. On the day of Mark arrived on time, set up quickly and was prepared for guests’ arrival. The music was awesome that night and we all had a blast. Everyone was dancing that night. I highly recommend Mark for anyone’s wedding. You won’t have any regrets. -

Mark was BY FAR the easiest vendor to work with at our wedding. We actually had all our discussions over email and everything was exactly how we planned. Mark came on time (early actually) and was set up and ready to roll before most of our guests even arrived. He was prompt, curteous, and had the night flowing extremely well! He gave some really great suggestions as to what kind of music should be played during certain points of the wedding and he was spot on. Our very international crowd couldn't stop complimenting on Mark's DJ skills! Our wedding reception was very eventful packed with intros, speeches, belly dancer, cake cutting, garter/bouquet tosses, games, first and last dances, exit. Mark was on cue for all the key introductions and scheduled events.
Mark was flexible and played our list. But it was his skills that selected the song order and mixing to create the perfect flow and dancing atmosphere.
Technical specs: he had his own high quality speakers, spin deck, songs, wireless mics. The only thing I would recommend is triple checking the wireless connection at your venues because they didn't work well at our venue because it marble from floor to ceiling. Guess the think marble affected the wireless transmission? -

I have been to several weddings and always was disappointed at the music selection. I knew at our wedding, we didn't want that, so we are so glad that we chose Mark to be the DJ at our wedding! EVERYONE (even the parents and grandparents) were all out on the dance floor and everyone had a great time! The music selection was amazing, and he honored the requests of my guests. The music selction was appropriate and numerous guests commented on how pleased they were. He was a great DJ and followed our itinerary perfectly. During the preliminary meetings, he was very responsible and made sure to incorporate all our wishes into the plans. He was very laid back and easy to work with, and he made us and our guests feel very comofortable. He followed through on everything he promised and also made sure to email us updates and ask us questions. If you want a great DJ who will play awesome music, be responsible and prompt and also make sure that everyone has a great time, choose Mark! -

Mark is a wonderful DJ. He is so laid back and easy to work with which made me feel at ease with all of the stress of wedding planning. All I had to do was give him my taste in music and a few song requests and he ran with it. Everyone, young and old, said, "wow, your DJ is amazing. He played all of my favorite songs!" Professionalism: We had a face-to-face consultation, breaking down the music/song selection throughout the wedding event timeline. He arrived to the wedding and ceremony location on time as negoitated. He was also our MC and did a wonderfull job.

I've known Mark since childhood and watched him as he grew his career and expanded his talents in the DJing industry. I always knew that I wanted to have him DJ a major event for me someday and I can honestly say that he played an integral part on our wedding day. From professionalism to customizing our experience for us... Mark delivered above and beyond. He was more than willing to assist and accomodate us when we were faced with technical difficulties and unexpected challenges on our wedding day. He was very easy to communicate with and always responded to my e-mails within a timely manner. The cost of service was extremely fair compared to other DJs my husband and I had been in contact with. He played all the songs that were requested and even included ones that he thought were suitable for the occasion. Mark is an excellent DJ. Professional, responsive, and flexible.
When I say flexible, I mean it! He superbly took into account our tastes and that of our guests. He also took care of last minute requirements in stride like a true professional. For example, in the last few days before the wedding, my parents threw in a karaoke machine and dinner-music CD. We ourselves were indecisive and didn't give him a list of songs except for our entrance, first, and final dance songs. Our reception was pretty chaotic with over 400 guest and 5 hours long. Mark took this all into account and kept the music going throughout the night.
The music was huge hit at our reception. Everyone danced and commented on how much fun they were having and how great the DJ was. Mark played a range of music that pleased all our guests both young and old.
We highly recommend Mark. He won't disappoint. -

Mark with K2 Productions was GREAT! I couldnt have asked for a better DJ! Picking the music for my reception was the easiest thing I had to do during the whole wedding planning process. Mark was very responsive, professional, flexible and very timely during the planning process and the wedding day. A week before the wedding, I emailed Mark my "must-play" list and the song selections for our first dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc. He played all of the songs on my list, and even got the songs that were my "special version" requests. I've heard Mark DJ at various events before, so I was very familiar with his style of music. I completely trusted him to do his thing during the wedding. And he did just that! He kept the dance floor packed and provided music that everyone enjoyed, young and old! After the wedding, I received many compliments on how great the music was and how everyone had such a great time! Mark is a very popular DJ in the DC metro area. I wouldn't have wanted any one else to DJ my wedding. On my wedding day, he arrived on time to setup. Mark provided a CD to play during cocktail hour and he played nice background music during dinner. I hired Mark after seeing him DJ at my friend's wedding.
About a week before the wedding, I emailed him with music requests for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Throughout the entire process, from the day I contacted him to see if he was available for our wedding, to information gathering and contract signing to the day of the wedding, Mark was very responsive to emails - I would get a response always within a day - usually quicker. He was efficient and professional.
He provided two wireless mics, which helped out tremendously with our ceremony and officiant, and he followed the instructions and theme that we had discussed prior to the wedding. The equipment he brought with him sounded great, and his music selection is extremely broad. Anything I requested, he made sure to have.
I highly recommend Mark for weddings! -

DJ Twinspin, aka Mark Yuen, really knows how to make a party! Just to provide full disclosure, I've known Mark for around 10 years. I've always loved his spinning, so along with asking him to DJ our wedding for sentimental reasons, I also knew that Mark would throw down serious beats for our friends and family. Mark actually spins at clubs as well as weddings, so when I say that he spins, I mean he's out there mixing.
I had told my girlfriends about him, but you may want to keep it a secret for your wedding because my friends would not stop pestering me about him. And since Mark particularly favors 80s music, my girls were like giddy school girls! And Mark did not disappoint! Everyone was talking about Mark during and after the wedding - we even got compliments from the staff!
Mark really sets the tone for the party. As we had discussed, he kept the cocktail hour lively, dinner relaxed and romantic, and when it was time to dance, Mark broke it down. He had EVERYONE dancing! I gave him a few suggestions about the tone of the party that I wanted and the music that I loved. I also asked him to make sure to play some oldies so that the parental generation could dance (and my parents definitely outdanced any of the youngsters), but that was pretty much all the discussion he needed. He knew what we were looking for and he gave us a spectacular mix of music - not a single person left the wedding without having gotten their groove on.
Mark also stuck to my "Do Not Play" list, which I've read is ignored by a surprising number of DJs. I would highly recommend Mark to any brides - and have already done so with friends who are now in the planning stages. Mark's mixing really makes the wedding feel like a party. There's none of the usual start and stop in music - Mark will read the crowd and keep the party going.

Mark could not have been better - at every step of the process. We found him through Wedding Wire and he was a pleasure to meet with initially, was incredibly reasonably priced, corresponded regularly just to check in, and was an absolutely FANTASTIC DJ! The dance floor was packed all night and he did a great job of responding to requests from family and friends and changing up the pace whenever the floor was thinning a bit. We asked him to stay for an hour of overtime on the spot because it was all just too much fun to end. If you're even considering Mark, you'd be crazy not to book him! -

Mark is a superb DJ and was the easiest vendor to work with for my wedding. He was responsive to emails and phone calls and was willing to work with my tastes and that of my parents for the reception. He knew our reception site well which made me feel at ease. Being an indecisive bride, I couldn't decide on any of the songs I wanted played, but Mark assured me that he would take care of it all... which was such a relief during my hectic wedding planning schedule. The music was a smash hit at our reception. Seriously, everyone danced and commented on how much fun they were having and how great the DJ was. Mark was able to play a range of music that pleased all the different groups and age ranges. I highly recommend him for anyone's wedding. You won't regret it. :) -

K2 Productions did an exceptional job at my wedding. Great music and great service. All of my guests paid compliments to the DJ. Many of them who are planning to get married later this year or next year are now asking me for K2's contact information so they can use them.
K2 Productions is extremely experienced, responsive, and flexible. Additionally, K2's fees are very reasonable. I definitely recommend K2. -

We received so many compliments about Mark (DJ Twinspin) after our reception. The music he chose the entire evening was exactly what we wanted and everyone had such a great time dancing to it. He helped us find the special songs we needed beforehand and the entire evening flowed well. With his many years of experience and professionalism, I definitely recommend Mark and am so happy I chose him as our DJ! -

Mark is an exceptional DJ! He's DJ'd at clubs in the area, so I've known him for years. We wanted a fun DJ at our wedding and Mark was the first person I thought of. He plays all the oldies and the latest hits. Guests were making requests onsite and he was very catering. Thanks Mark! -

I have heard Mark DJ at weddings and other events. He is the perfect DJ. He caters music to your taste and is extremely professional. He is flexible with dates and times. A few days before the wedding, we still had not picked out a father/daughter dance song and Mark said he'd surprise us. How awesome! That was one thing off my plate. He came on time, set up, played wonderfully for hours and left. I am goin to recommend him to all my friends in the DC area. -

I've been the wedding coordinator for two weddings Mark has DJ'ed. Mark has been prompt, mindful of requests, and overall played great music.

Mark was a fantastic dj for my wedding. All of my music worries were relieved as he took care of all the setup and details for both the cocktail hour and main reception. When plans changed at the end and we extended the reception an additional hour, he was incredibly flexible and continued to dj for us the additional time. I was impressed with the sound quality and absolutely loved his choice for our last dance song. HIGHLY Recommend! A++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Great music! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. We got exceptional service for an exceptional price. Mark and Lian are extremely professional, flexible, and very hip. Mark was extremely flexible with all aspects of the planning. One of my duties as the groom was to pick a lot of the songs and the more I talked to Mark the more I realized theres more to it than just picking the first song for me and my bride's first dance. Needless to say I was stressed with all the planning so I told him to surprise me with much of the song selection. He did great. I would highly recommend him to anyone. -

First of all Mark is not a normal 'wedding only dj' such as Davis DJ or some of the older generation wedding DJ's in the area.
I've personally known mark and if you have been to DC's Night scene/clubbing scene in the past 10 years most likely you've also danced to his beats. He's mid~late 20's so he's definietly knows the hottest tunes. For our wedding he arrived 30min earilar than the time we agreed upon just to make sure everyting was perfect. He came with his nice girlfriend who was also a helper and taking / queing song request from our guest and my self. As most grooms I didn't want to 'pick' any songs or go through a bunch of them online so I simply left it in the hands of Mark. He provided the perfect entrance song for our bridal party(happy together) and my wife LOVED our entrance song. It was a plesent suprise. While dinner was being servered played some nice background piano music to set the mood while our guest enjoyed dinner and my wife and I where going around greeting our guest.
As mentioned before Mark also picked out our 1st song for us, my wife and I both wanted to be suprised but also a bit nervious to what Mark would pick. My bride and I stepped up to the dancefloor and we heard "Endless love" by Mariah Carey. This immedietly brought a smile to both my wife and I followed by some tears ;) . After all the formal dances and the bar being opened for 2 hrs already our guest where ready to rock the dance floor. Mark right away started off with some lively dance music then hiphop followed by some 80's tune. Everyone started dancing from 7:30~ 11:30 and MARK was at the DJ booth the entire time taking song request as well as making sure everyone was having a great time. Overall it was a really good mix of of songs that kept everyone on the dancefloor including our parents friends. After the wedding everyone compliamented for picking a great DJ as well as everyone saying it was deffinitlly one of the most fun weddings they've been to. I would HIGHLY recommend mark as a DJ. Very accommodating and responsive! Provided own sound system. We provided our own playlists during the early parts of the reception, and additional song requests were granted. Had great choices for cake-cutting and bouquet/garter toss, so that relieved some stress. The dance portion was all his selections, which had the guest dancing til closing! Thanks for a memorable evening! -

We heard Mark DJ at several of our friends weddings and also my sister in laws. He was awesome. We didn't think to have anyone else DJ our wedding. We knew he would go beyond our expectations. Our reception was awesome. I gave him a few songs that we selected to be played during the cake cutting, entrance of the reception, garter toss and so on and he was on point. Afterwards he played what he wanted and it was a hit. All of our friends loved him. I'm so grateful that we found him and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mark was awesome in terms of being flexible, and playing all the songs which I requested! All of my guests loved the music selection and had a great time! The only downside was that he did not do any MC-ing, so I had to find a separate person who would make the announcements throughout the reception. But for most people, it is fairly easy to find family or friend who love to speak for free! -
