Perfect March Wedding 90s Rock Style
James was incredibly professional and willing to play whatever we asked. We had a Zoom call a week or so beforehand to discuss the plan. Music was very important to our wedding and he was attentive in playing the 90s rock/alternative music we requested. He had been to our venue, The Perry House, before, so he was also familiar with the set up and knew exactly what to do. If we had another event, I would definitely ask him to DJ again! -

Amazing DJ!
JZM entertainment was the perfect DJ for our wedding!! We had a clear goal: keep the dance floor full and people having fun. Our DJ absolutely made this goal a reality and we had everyone dancing from the second the dance floor opened to the end of the night. So amazing! -

Great DJ and person!
DJ JZM was wonderful! Sound for the ceremony was spot on and Jaime really read the crowd for the reception. He was very flexible with the change of schedule and professional! I will definitely recommend him to whomever is looking for DJ services. His photobooth was great as well! Amazing quality photos and lots of fun props! -

It was a blast
JZM Entertainment exceeded all expectations at my event. The DJ provided an exceptional experience that left my guests absolutely thrilled. Additionally, their photo booth was a tremendous success and added an extra level of enjoyment to the event. We had an amazing time at our wedding
James Martinez and his team were amazing! They worked well with our coordinator and photographers day of to fit everything we wanted to into our timeline. The music was awesome and DJ James did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor! We totally recommend JZM Entertainment.

Awesome Experience with JZM
Hands down JZM Entertainment rocked our wedding. DJ James knows how to mix and blend all types of music for all ages. DJ James played all our requested songs. James met with us before our wedding to go over the planning forms and that put us at ease. We had a blast at our wedding thanks to DJ James. -

Awesome experience
JZM Entertainment Wedding DJ did an amazing job at my wedding. My guest are still raving about our DJ. Their photo booth was also a hit at my wedding and we received our digital photos which were very nice. My wedding was a success thanks to our DJ James and Edith our photo booth attendant. -

Great sound work from James
James did a great job for my wedding. We had some out of the ordinary song requests and James worked well with us to get what we wanted. Audio for the ceremony and music was good with the sound levels appropriate for the activity.
The photo booth worked out great for the event. We got some great photos and everyone who used it had fun. -

Great DJ and Photobooth!
James was fantastic during the whole process! Before the wedding it was easy to get him the music we were looking to use, music we wanted at the wedding, and was very good with making sure he had all the names right! On the big day he was very helpful and had kind words throughout. The photo booth was a hit! Guests had a ton of fun. They really were a great value and we were extremely happy to have them at our event! -

DJ James was awesome! Although we live almost 2 hours apart he offered to meet us prior to our wedding only 30 minutes from our house. James was extremely professional, organized, and kind. He worked very well with our venue and wedding coordinator. Finally, I must say- he had the best value, both for his service, and also for renting up-lights. I can't recommend DJ James enough! -

Made our wedding so fun!
He hired Jaime and his JZM team as our wedding DJ and photobooth, and they did not disappoint. He was super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, and made sure to touch base with us right before the wedding to ensure all the right types of songs were being played and that he captured the right musical mood. From the ceremony to reception, the music was a perfect mix of oldies, romantic love songs, Latin and upbeat party songs. We stayed at our venue until midnight and the party was going all night long! Everyone also loved the photobooth - our guests had so much fun with the props and the photos were so cute/hilarious. For the value, the price can't be beat. Would recommend! -

We found JZEntertainment late in the game... what I mean by that is that we were 3 months until our wedding date! Not only did he accommodate us, but he cared to get our day perfect. And not perfect for the standard, but perfect and true to who we were while still giving all the expert tips and tricks to a perfect night! We couldn’t have been more excited and fulfilled with the DJ service we received. James completed our wedding! -

I highly recommend James Martinez and JZM Entertainment. His DJ services were excellent and our wedding went off without a hitch. He was very responsive and asked a lot of questions to make sure he knew what we were looking for on our big day. He’s very organized, he scouted the site early and communicated with with us by checking in leading up to the day of the event. His website is great and has organized play list you can fill out with music you want played and he’s also great at reading the crowd and keeping the party moving. The photo booth was a really awesome feature as well everyone enjoyed it! Great DJ!!! -

James was WONDERFUL! He kept our guests dancing and made sure that we were happy and not stressed. He listened to our last minute requests, and made sure that our playlist was absolutely perfect! We absolutely LOVED JZM Entertainment DJ and Photobooth services! My husband and I wanted 3 things most for our wedding- great beats and great food throughout the night and for our guests to have a very fun night! JZM was professional, played everything on our list at the time we requested, was extremely professional, punctual, had a great team and had the latest photo booth. Photo booth was not cumbersome or bad on the eyes. It was incredible small edgy portal, that had bright lighting and had a back (chosen specifically for us) and fit up to like 12 people. JZM helped create the permit ambiance. The night was a hit! We actually asked him to stay for another hour because no one was leaving. Our wedding COULD NOT have been better. -

After meeting Jaime at a wedding fair, we knew we needed him to be our DJ. JZM was absolutely awesome to work with! He made the process so easy with his online database, my now husband and I went through and chose our songs, and set up our timeline of how we wanted our wedding to go. He made sure our whole wedding ran smooth! Not only did he ensure that, his music choices were awesome. He was able to feel the vibe of our guests, and kid you not had almost everyone up on the dance floor. To top it off, we also rented his really cool photo booth. Such a hit with all our guests. Literally the coolest booth I have ever seen. Definitely recommend Jaime and his team! He made our wedding a lot less stressful! (We liked his service so much that we hired him for our company holiday party as well) -

James was outstanding. We first met him at a bridal show and he was nothing but polite and professional. Our first meeting with him was great! He really listened to what we were looking for and asked a lot of questions to better understand. We knew right away that he was going to be perfect for us. The meeting was professional and we had some good laughs. James kept in contact with us and was always available if we had questions while putting together our play list. We also booked the photo booth with him and it was a huge hit at our wedding! Everyone loved it and the props that he brought with him. Before the wedding, he called to go over the play list and played the "special" songs for us to make sure they were the right ones. I highly recommend him and will be contacting him for future parties. You won't be disappointed with him! -

Every single one of our guest were up dancing! Even the older ones with walkers! Super professional and even would come and meet us closer to our house to discuss the wedding and our wants and needs from JZM. I will recommend them to anyone we know who is getting married. -

From the beginning to the end Jaime was the best. Very prompt communication through email and text. Even though we had submitted our information packet the week before the wedding, he was very patient with us. He reviewed all the songs we requested and played them for us over the phone to make sure they were the right versions. Very easy going guy! He goes over the little details with you and gives his input when he feels necessary. Has a great feel for the crowd and is open to taking requests. I hired JZM entertainment to DJ my wedding. Jaime was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was well organized and followed the timeline and songs we agreed upon. He worked great with the live music band we also had at my reception even though he didn't have enough notice to prepare to do so (my fault).

Jaime did an amazing job as DJ at my wedding. His team came and set up all the different music stations and uplighting. They were prompt and everything went really smooth. He worked well with my photographer, videographer, and wedding coordinator. I had everything planned out by minute and he stayed right on schedule. My ceremony site was aways from the reception but Jaime made it work smoothly. One minor issue was our Mr. and Mrs. announcement last name was way wrong, that was the only thing. I was so concerned about telling him who was who in the wedding I forgot to remind him how to pronounce our last name. Putting positive spin on it, It gave the guests something to laugh at. He played great music and had everyone dancing. He called a few days before and we went over everything. We are very happy with our decision with JZM. If you are looking for an affordable, professional, and awesome DJ to make your wedding perfect hire JZM! -

Jaime from JZM Entertainment was the most incredible DJ for our San Jose destination wedding. Within 2 minutes of emailing my inquiry he called me and through his excellent website I was able to experience his service to make an educated choice from my home. I compared many and he was the most professional, prompt, and with the best website. He took the initiative to preview the venue for me, and I selected exactly the songs I wanted online through his site. He was flexible and was even able to find some obscure songs we wanted. He offered Skype/phone meetings since we were out of state. Before our wedding he confirmed by phone and we looked at the final plan and music choices on our client account online. Day of, Jay arrived elegantly in a tux, blended into the party and set out beautiful mood lighting that really enhanced the space. My family raved about the music and everyone took his card. He followed up with a beautiful surprise gift to us and gave us the best quality experience we could have hoped for! -

I first met Jaime at a friend's wedding that he was the DJ at. My (now) husband and I had just gotten engaged a few weeks prior to that wedding so we were in the market for a wedding DJ. We set up a meeting with him a few weeks later and we were instantly impressed. His prices were by far the most reasonable compared to a few others we checked out and he's so incredibly personable.
Fast forward to our wedding and holy moly was it an awesome night. DJ Jaime knew what songs to play when and how to mix it all together to keep people dancing and having a good time. The Chicken Dance is a family favorite (and required at all family weddings) and without a doubt, Jaime helped us make that super special (and he even said it was the best Chicken Dance he had ever seen!).
A few months after we were married, I was helping some co-workers plan our company Christmas party and I isntantly recommended Jaime. At that event, he (and a co-worker of his) did not only the DJ work, but also a photo booth. This was a much different atmosphere than a wedding, but nevertheless I was impressed.
Oh and Jaime also DJ'd another friend's wedding of ours. So as you can tell, we would totally recommend him whether it be for a wedding or a corporate event.
When we first met Jaime we can tell that he absolutely loves what he does. Just watch him behind his DJ table and you will see what I mean. I wish I could give him a million stars. -

Jaime (JZM Entertainment DJ) was fantastic to work with and played a huge (the biggest?) role in the constant dance party at our wedding at the Marriott (Monterrey CA ).
From the very beginning of the process, Jaime and the JZM Entertainment staff were extremely responsive and professional. In the meeting to prepare for the wedding, Jaime went above and beyond to customize his work to suit our desires. We had a lengthy and very professional meeting with him and we were certain he would be excellent. He offers excellent suggestions and just knows this field of work so well.
He played all the type of music we love, and certainly knows how to read the crowd and play appropriate and lively music. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Monterrey area. Look no further. -

From day 1 of wedding planning (even before the planning), we knew we wanted to go with JZM Entertainment to DJ our wedding. We've had some pretty memorable nights on the dance floor and Jaime on the back spinning. From the first meeting we had with Jaime, we were 100% confident in our decision.
We kicked it off with a meet and greet at our local bar and spent time describing our audio interests & vision for the wedding. Jaime listened to what we had to say and was able to provide plenty of insight and suggestions for filling in the missing details. His professionalism and abundant knowledge of various music scenes made it extremely easy to collaborate and place our trust in him for the big day.
Jaime handled the ceremony & cocktail hour flawlessly and In the end, led a non-stop dance party from start to finish. Highly recommend JZM Entertainment if you're looking a group that can deliver on their process to keep that dance floor poppin! -

He went above and beyond to make sure that the wedding went flawlessly. He really was absolutely critical in reducing my stress level (which I REALLY appreciated as the bride).

Look no further people, if you want great music and a fantastic DJ, then Jaime is your guy. My wife and I were so happy with our wedding. Quite a few of our guests went up to him during the wedding to ask for his card!
Jaime is fantastic to work with from beginning to end. He's meticulous and organized to the Nth degree. There's nothing that escapes his attention.
I had great communication with Jaime the entire time. He's quick to reply and worked with me on the music especially for the ceremony. We hired a cellist so Jaime had to blend with her on the music. It turned out amazing. -

We choose DJ Jaime as our wedding DJ and MC based on his amazing reviews and we are so glad we did! From the very first correspondence, to our first meeting, several phone calls, and finally our wedding day DJ Jaime was amazing! First thing people told us when planning our wedding was make sure your DJ is THE best for they make or break the reception. With that said and living out of the area, I looked and read almost every single review out there for DJs in Monterey county. What made it difficult was the fact that we were looking for a DJ that could play just about everything, from top 40 to zapateado to Vicente Fernandez and everything in between. I am so thankful we found Jaime! Jaime was responsive and extremely patient with us. I was nervous about the music selection and how it would all blend in together. He is most definitely a professional as he handled our requests and music preferences very well. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I am very proud to say that I did not stop dancing. =) Everyone had a blast!
We also used his photobooth and uplighting services. Our guests really enjoyed our photobooth guest book. The uplighting was the special touch to our reception. It looked just how I envisioned it.
Again, I was extremely satisfied with their services. I hope he's still available when I celebrate a vow renewal or anniversary wedding =) -

First off, let me start by saying Jaime was the absolute best DJ / MC and truly made our wedding the amazing fun party I'd hoped for!
When searching for a DJ, I was the anal bride that reached out to 30+ vendors and compared them across a number of points: value, ratings, professionalism, offerings. Jaime came in at the top of all these - almost seeming too good to be true. My fiance and I met with him for coffee to sign the contract, only to realize he really was the amazing DJ / MC that he appeared to be over email. We then met three weeks before the wedding to finalize all the music, the up lights, and slideshow (yes, he helped coordinate all of this!). Jaime offered tons of song suggestions and ideas about how to make the night go off with out a hitch - such as faking the bouquet toss to ensure enough time for the photographer to get the perfect shot and / or where to fade the music of our first dance as to not drag on for the full 5:00 music clip.
The result - a reception our friends and family are still raving about! Everyone from my 13 year old nephew to my 89 year old grandma danced THE ENTIRE night. Dance circles broke out, group Gangnam style dancing ,and a 30+ person linked arm wave. I mean, granted my wedding attendees are quite a fun group of people...but Jaime made sure to engage all ages across all genres and kept the energy high until end of night.
My expectations were beyond exceeded and I cannot say enough about how awesome the entire relationship was. Basically if you don't want to worry about having an amazing night, stress free...hire Jaime. -

We are extremely happy we chose JZM for our DJ needs. Jaime did an excellent job with my daughters wedding. He had excellent music, acted as wedding coordinator for both outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. We just had Jaime as our wedding DJ and he did a fantastic job at an affordable price (even with 2 sets of equipment, 1 for ceremony and 1 for reception)! Our site required all of our outside vendors to visit the venue at least 30 days prior to the event and he did so way in advance with no extra charge. He was very flexible, especially with our music selection (Jurassic park theme music intro to ceremony and Indiana Jones exit music anyone?) and provided support to groomsmen when they couldn't figure out the projector. He was also flexible with the timeline since we started to get behind after table visits. He was responsive to all my questions and was one of, if not, the easiest vendor to work with. Thanks Jaime for a great wedding for us and all of our guests! -

People loved our DJ! He really listened to our style of music and was incredibly accommodating. Jaime came early, set up at 3 different locations within the same site (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), and kept the party going all night! He practiced pronouncing our names, which was very difficult because our names are confusing, so I felt comfortable with his level of professionalism. I chose him because his lighting is amazing: he has a stand in front of his equipment that lights up, and the pictures look great because his dance floor lights went up to the ceiling! People loved the songs we chose, and he was so amazing: he could really feel the party. He knew what people wanted to hear and when they wanted to hear it. My wedding was a huge hit thanks to him! -

Jaime with JZM Entertainment was on time, had all the music I wanted to hear and was super professional. I liked that I didn't need to tell him a ton of times the type of music I wanted him to play. He totally understood when I started naming songs and artists and he got it from there. I also wanted to make sure all the music was appropriate as my party had all ages. I thought this might be a little difficult to achieve but I was wrong- Jaime did a great job of keeping it tasteful & keeping all my guests having a great time on the dance floor!!!
I know I will be calling on Jaime again for any upcoming parties. So my wedding was Feb 9th, 2013. I was very late in the process of finding a DJ for the wedding, but Jaime reassured me that the span of time we had would not hamper the music/MC at the wedding (as I found Jaime mid-January). My fiancé and I met with Jaime and talked about the entire timeline and layout for the wedding. He was very helpful and could get on our level to understand the type of music we were gearing towards. Jaime even went to the reception prior to the event to scope out the area and talk with the event planner.
The day of the wedding, of course nothing went as planned. Jaime had an outline of what we were going to do, but my mother and the photographer had their own plans in mind. Jaime was able to turn the wedding around quickly from confusion/chaos to fun/exciting.
He is also very easy to communicate with: Phone, text, email. He respnonds promptly. I would recommend this DJ to anyone who is looking for a DJ/MC for their event. -

DJ Jaime and his crew were awesome. They had my guest dancing all night and he was dead on with all the dances and kept us on time. We really enjoyed his interactive music database on his website which made it easy to select our songs. Thank You Again -

JZM Entertainment was awesome. DJ Jaime and his assistant were there 2 hours before start time and his DJ system was compact but powerfull. DJ Jaime kept our wedding going smoothly and the dance floor was packed once he began to mix all of the songs that we requested. He was also always in contact with us and made it easy to chose our songs on his website. I strongly recommend DJ Jaime and JZM Entertainment staff! -

DJ Jaime helped make my special day perfect! He is a very professional DJ and has incredible talent with mixing your favorite songs. I got many compliments from my wedding guests on how awesome the music was and how much fun they had dancing the night away.

JZM Entertainment staff was great and provided everything I requested for my Wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better Wedding DJ and MC than DJ Jaime. Jaime did a great job at always being in contact with us. He made it easy for us to select our music. Our guest really enjoyed the diversity of music during our dinner and cocktail hour. When I started planning my wedding in CA I was living in Oregon and Jaime was more than flexible with this situation. He was relatively quick to respond and always answered my questions thoroughly. He was very helpful with the whole process, so I always felt we were in good hands. Needless to say, the dance floor was never empty because he knew how to gauge my guests and know what songs they liked. -

DJ Jaime was courteous and professional. Jaime gave suggestions and I was open to his suggestions. Jaime's music was good & I saw that everybody was dancing and moving. Jaime's DJ equipment was up to date and sounded excellent. I would have him do my next party again. -

The guy who Djs will find any music you need. You just have to tell him ahead of time. He does a pretty good job. I would recommend that everything be made clear with whoever you are working in weddings. No room for error that way. Overall awesome wedding dj job. -

Jaime and his wife are wonderful people. She is just beginning her photography so I didn't opt to use their photography services. They were nice enough to share their photos of my wedding with me. The song selection was good, Jaime was helpful with song ideas as well as song titles for the different activities i.e.; bouquet toss, announcing of bride and groom as Mr. and Mrs. etc. and their lighting services were excellent! I would recommend him. -

I had a difficult time with James. From the beginning, when he had no record of our signed contract, or the payment we had submitted via PayPal. Through the middle when he wasn’t very flexible in terms of coming out to the venue for a walkthrough, and when he was able to stop by, he didn’t bring the contract and had forgotten that we had a photo booth and added in uplights. All the way through the end when his speakers didn’t work during the ceremony and he made excuses that our guests provided interference and that everything was working fine before. Yet then came back and said the wireless mic was too far away from the receiver, hmmm…. Lastly, he was trying to go by his timeline of when he thought we should do things, and not by the timeline that I put together for him weeks before. He was just a bit frustrating at times and left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone, nor would I use him for any future events.JZM Entertainment's reply:
At the time I had a death in my immediate family and my assistant called in the last minute. I had to make it happen on my own until I was able to find another assistance. Since then I have hired 2 new assistants and I will do my best to have our main photo booth operator present at our events. I am a professional and I learn from every event. I will do my best to make sure your day is memorable. If you read this client review didn't not say anything about the music because I had all the crowd dancing all night long as usual.

They did not comply and fulfill their contract. We had them at our wedding for a photobooth and they decided to use a new printer so we didn't get 2 copies printed as promised, a bunch of people didn't even get to take a photo because it wasn't working, and they showed up late. They did not respond to email quickly. We had won a discounted rate from attending the Great Bridal Expo so since this was on the top of the list of our must haves, we took the deal. When we asked for a refund or partial refund after providing him with the contract we signed because he had failed to give us all that we paid for, he said they don't do refunds but he could give us 50% off the next time we book them. No offense but after the big mess up at our wedding, that we can't redo or relive the memories made, we DEFINITELY will NEVER use them again. He gave us a lot of excuses as to why he was not wrong even though I provided emails, texts and the contract saying that he didn't abide by it. We are sad that we won't have those keepsakes and that our guest don't either. Just because we WON a discounted rate, doesn't mean that they should treat us any less than any othe customer. Only positive thing was that he was flexible in changing the time of having the photobooth. I wish I could attach the emails, texts and contract to share here.JZM Entertainment's reply:
Yes our new printer did not work properly but most of the guest did receive their photos and I even sent her a copy of all the photos. I also posted all the photos on our website for the bride to download them. We have fix the problem and sent exchanged the printer for a more reliable printer. All Vendors have experience some type of technical difficult with their photo booths. We guarantee satisfaction guarantee with our new Photo Booth. -

I thought JZM was such a great deal for the amount of play time that was offered. However, this is truly a situation of where you pay for what you get. We hired him to DJ at our wedding and met with him a few weeks before the wedding to finalize everything. When we arrived, he had not bothered to look at our list of songs we had put together. At the wedding, Jaime did not play all of the songs we wanted, nor when we wanted them played. Also, he played a bunch of songs at the end of the evening that we did not request.
Additionally, which I found to be the most unprofessional, his girlfriend was at the wedding uninvited and taking photos with her huge camera. He had solicited my fiance and I before the wedding to see if we needed a photographer and that his girlfriend was just starting out and would give us a good price. We messaged him back saying we had already gotten our photographer. At the reception, I noticed there was a woman there I didn't recognize with a big camera taking photos. My photographer later told us that she was the DJ's girlfriend and was taking photos of us. This was all without my consent or knowledge.
Overall, I would not recommend Jaime to anyone.JZM Entertainment's reply:
First of all you can't make everyone happy but this low of a rating is not true or fair. The bride's photographer made a racial comment about my girlfriend who was my assistant as she was in my booth taking a couple of photos for my own portfolio. That was the issue not sure if Photographer was related to her but I stopped taking pictures after he told me. I played all of their songs that they requested and I only played a couple of songs toward the end that some of her guest requested. I make a mix from all the songs that my customers request. Almost every wedding has a few songs that we just don't get time to play due to time constraint. I work hard and give it 100% percent every time. I have too many great reviews and should not be overlooked by this one review. -
