Julie did the wedding hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids and some of our family members. She did an amazing job and I would highly recommend her. She created my dream hair and makeup look!! She is professional and fun to work with. I also now go to her as my regular hair stylist! -

Best Day Ever! Sept 13, 2019
When I was planning my wedding, I wanted the best of the best for my makeup, it was one thing I wouldn’t settle on. I knew well before I got engaged I wanted Julie to do my makeup for my amazing day! & I’m so glad I did. She was so professional every step of the way, so friendly & so amazing! I would recommend her to everyone I know. Any family photos I get from here on out, I will be asking Julie to do my make up. Don’t bother looking anywhere else, you found your girl! -

This was absolutely the best value on hair and makeup I have ever experienced. JVC was punctual, friendly, flexible, and very talented. We especially valued the extra time and attention they gave to our moms who rarely ever wear makeup. Everyone was feeling beautiful and confident for the entire day. Thank you JVC! -

She was so easy to work with and listened to what I wanted, but will also let you if she thinks something won’t look good, because she genuinely wants to make sure all of her clients look and feel their best. She made not only myself, but my 7 bridesmaids, my mom, aunt, and mother-in-law all feel so beautiful! Not to mention the products she uses are top notch and hold through the entire day/night (no matter how much you sweat on the dance floor....or from nerves haha)
Seriously, I cannot thank her enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, she is the BEST!!! -

I planned my whole day around my hair and makeup trial. I had my routes and schedule mapped out and a date with my fiancé later after I was all done up. I was very excited for this step in the wedding planning process. I got up early to work from a cafe closer to the studio. I leave the cafe and my GPS says I will arrive at 11:00, at the time of the appointment. As I'm driving through the windy country roads, I have to stop a few times for construction. I get a text at 11:10 asking if I'm running behind and saying we may need to reschedule. I park at 11:12, text Julie back, and walk in. Instead of a warm welcome, she says that we may only get to one of the services because she has appointments back to back and cannot accommodate 12 minutes of lateness for a 90 minute appointment. I let her know that being late was unexpected and I apologized, but that taking another 4 hours out of my day for a trial was going to be very hard for me as I work full time and go to law school at night. She knew beforehand that I could only make today work because it was my spring break. She kept pressing the point that she is so busy, she has other things to do, and she can offer no flexibility, even when I said I was happy to rush it. Needless to say, I was not going to move forward with someone who was so inconsiderate. I left in tears. I've never felt so uncared for by a service person. I understand being busy and keeping a schedule - trust me - but I don't understand refusing to give people grace and refusing to be flexible to make things work. Weddings are as stressful as they are exciting. Someone who cannot be considerate of that should not be in the wedding business.
