We would not have had the great wedding experience we had without Lauren!
We interviewed several potential wedding planners and Lauren was the clear choice. She understood that my personality was more about the details and logistics than about the creative side of things. She totally filled in where I needed help creating a vision and pulling it off. Not only does she have the ability to execute on a vision, but she knows the vendors and venues in Santa Fe. Her recommendations and relationships with the vendors made for such a great experience. We could not have pulled it off without her! -

Amazing planner, designer and coordinator!!
Lauren and her team were INCREDIBLE!!! She is so experienced and has dealt with every possible wedding speedbump, is super organized and has an amazing way of making your wedding vision come to life. She took every bit of stress out of the planning of the wedding and she made the day incredible! Not only is she an expert planner, but her design experience and creative eye made our wedding day even more special. Amazing in every way!
Lauren was such a joy to work with during our wedding planning. We used her partial planning package and she truly went above and beyond for us. From the vendor suggestions to her incredible eye for all of the tiny details (she helped put together the tablescapes of my dreams!), we felt so lucky to have Lauren’s help. She put together timelines, helped us with vision boards, and everything else we didn’t know we needed. The day-of, she was everything we could have asked for. We used her rentals company as well (Darling Details - which we also highly recommend!) and she was there first thing in the morning making sure everything arrived on time, was put together in the right spot, and just generally taking care of everything that I didn’t even know was happening. She was such a calming presence on the day and I felt so confident knowing that she was taking care of everything. I was able to relax and enjoy the perfect day, and I know she was an integral part of that. Highly highly recommend Lauren and her team! -

Best in Albuquerque! Lauren is a MUST HIRE!!
We hired Lauren in 2019, planning for our 2020 180-person wedding in July. Then the pandemic hit. Our venue informed us they were no longer doing large weddings so Lauren of Just Lovely helped us totally transform our wedding, from contacting vendors, sourcing information, day-of planning - she did it all. The whole weekend went by so smoothly, was so much fun and just well done - all thanks to Lauren's planning, expertise and relationships with other vendors. If you're considering a wedding in ABQ, seriously call/run to Lauren. She's a dream and we could not be more grateful! -

With the partial wedding planning package, Lauren curated a vision board to fit our needs & wants, helped us coordinate with other wedding vendors, constructed pertinent timelines, organized meticulous details including tablescapes and furniture rentals, and provided insight and suggestions throughout the entire process.
Lauren genuinely listens to her clients’ needs and concerns. Her creative thinking helped navigate some minor wedding hiccups, such as last-minute logistical changes at our venue.

Lauren is a MUST HAVE for your wedding!
I interviewed multiple wedding planners in Santa Fe/ABQ for our wedding in Santa Fe and Lauren immediately stood out from the rest. Within five minutes of speaking with her I knew that she was detail-oriented, organized, creative and the exact type of person we needed on our vendor team. Little did I know that she was all that and SO MUCH MORE and at the perfect price point. She was literally a dream come true. Not only did she bring all of our ideas and visions to life but she also kept everything running smoothly throughout the entire process. She always responded quickly, had answers for all of my questions and knew exactly what needed to happen next. We had a large wedding weekend with multiple events and moving pieces and Lauren went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place and that we were happy AND stress free the entire time. Multiple times throughout the weekend our families said "Lauren was the best money spent on this weeding" and it couldn't be more true. If you're a bride looking for a wedding planner, look no further! Lauren is the best! -

Absolutely Perfect!
When I first met Lauren I thought she was so amazing with such a good eye for details and filled with creativity, I knew immediately I wanted her by my side as my wedding planner! When I actually began to work with Lauren I was 100% right and on top of everything else she is the sweetest!
Lauren took charge of everything and kept not only me but my entire wedding party in the loop and on track for the day. I didn’t worry about a thing and didn’t feel the need to! Lauren definitely gave me peace of mind for the day and I knew all would be well. The venue was AMAZING! Even better than I had planned or anticipated. She handled everything and styled it all to perfection!
Unfortunately, we had a hiccup during the wedding (but what wedding doesn’t right), Lauren stepped in and handled it like a pro! THANK YOU LAUREN for going above and beyond the call of duty! She’s the best and definitely an investment you will not regret! -

If you want your wedding day to run smoothly and stress-free, hire Lauren
We hired Lauren to do month-of coordination and day-of coordination for our wedding and this was one of the best decisions that we made. She provided us with guidance for picking wedding vendors, and handled all of the coordination among vendors for the entire final month. Because of her we were able to just enjoy the day of our wedding stress-free as well as the weeks leading up to the wedding. The final month was honestly the least stressful part of the wedding planning process and that is entirely due to Lauren. She is entirely professional and really easy to work with. -

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT LAUREN. Not only do you get what you pay for, you get more and on top of it all Lauren is the most amazing, sweetest person there is. Her main goal is to make sure the couple is happy. She took care of everything for me and honestly there’s no way I could’ve done it without her. I reached out to Lauren in a panic for help four weeks before our wedding . She immediately responded to my request and then jumped on a call with me to figure out what needed to get done. As much as I had planned and talked to vendors, there were SO many little details that popped up in the final weeks. I can't imagine how stressed I would have been without Lauren. Not to mention her rehearsal and day-of support!!! Lauren and her assistant worked magic with setting up all the extra items I had binge purchased off of etsy. They helped corral our wedding party of 21 people throughout the day, and coordinated an amazing first look. If you want every detail that you've imagined to go perfectly, you need Lauren :) -

Our wedding was at Hyde Park Lodge in Santa Fe. Other wedding planners added in fees to go that far from ABQ, or won't go there at all. Lauren did not hesitate to take on a rustic mountain wedding. She listened closely to our ideas for the wedding. If she knew something would not work out or fit into the budget, she told us and suggested alternatives. Her advise was invaluable! We had the wedding of our dreams!!! Thank you Lauren. You're the best! -

I cannot express enough how incredible Lauren is! I am a former wedding planner and was extremely nervous planning an out of state wedding and not knowing who I would be able to trust to help me. The first phone chat with Lauren and I was sold. This girl was on IT. She asked every right question, is an excellent listener and LOVES what she does! You cannot ask for anything better in a Wedding Planner. She is hard working, when she says she will call you, she does. She is organized, professional, and knows what she is doing. She had all of our vendors ready to go and everything was set come wedding day. Any little thing that came up, Lauren took care of it without batting an eye. I had high standards when choosing a planner and I cannot reiterate enough how great Lauren is at her job. She steps in and offers advice at all of the right moments. She hears your vision and works with you to make it a reality. Its very rare to find a wedding planner who takes ownership of the wedding like it was their own and that is all a bride could ask for. Lauren was an absolute joy to work with and she genuinely loves what she is doing. I cannot say enough great things about her - the girl crush is real! -

I chose the partial planning option because I live states away and have a hard time with organization. Laurin was perfect for these areas. Our monthly conversations and her clear to-do lists helped me picture/organize my ideas and get them pulled together. She provided great options and suggestions of venders. It was always so much fun to talk to her as she seemed genuinely excited about the wedding and my ideas. She was always very friendly and cheerful. The day of, everything was so organized and ran as smoothly as you could hope for. I was able to have fun with my bridesmaids getting ready and not needing to worry about the coordination of anything. She was also great with keeping the ladies calm and steering way from nervousness. -

The peace of mind and support that Kristin and Lauren provided during the month prior and day of my October wedding was completely invaluable! They were amazing to work with, right in my price range, flexible, and added so much value through their expertise, enthusiasm and support. Lauren Mestas with just Lovely Wedding & Events was the reason our wedding was able to happen. I am not exaggerating. We hired Lauren for the month of planning services, she was wonderful from the first moment we met her. She is very friendly and it felt like we were old friends almost instantly. The reason I say she is the reason we were able to have our wedding is that the night before our wedding my husband and his family suffered a tragic loss and we were forced to cancel at the last minute, not only did Lauren make all those calls for us so we could focus on our families but she also went above and beyond our contract and helped us reschedule every one of our vendors and then made the day of our wedding absolutely amazing. We truly were afraid that we have to postpone our wedding indefinitely while we saved enough to re-book everyone, Lauren and all our Vendors were very understanding and extended our contracts out to the new date we were able to book. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to all our vendors but especially Lauren for organizing it all and making it so on the day of we had no stress and a wonderful time. Book Lauren! Lauren was integral to our outdoor backyard wedding. We got married at my parents' house in Corrales, which was wonderful because we had a blank slate and could hire whichever vendors we desired. However, a backyard at-home wedding also meant a ton of moving parts and vendors. Lauren was a champion with it all. She was wonderfully organized and professional. She also predicted our needs before we even realized we needed something.
At our first meeting, Lauren met us at a hotel to show us an option for out-of-town guests. She had the hotel show us the rooms and amenities. I was blown away by her ability to know exactly what we wanted to see. From that point on, Lauren was a joy to work with. She took our crazy ideas, celebrated them, and then executed them to a T. Our wedding day was perfect. Every single guest told me it was the best night of their lives. And Lauren was the person who executed it. She is worth her weight in gold. -

When I was planning my wedding, I contemplated on having a day of coordinator. I thought it was not necessary. However, after thinking about it, I decided to look for one. The reason why I decided to hire a day of coordinator was because I wanted our day to be close to perfect. There are a lot of expenses that go into a wedding, and the last thing I needed was to deal with the florist or making sure the cake was delivered on time. It is important for your day to go as smoothly as it can. A lot of time and money go into your wedding day. That is exactly why we hired Just lovely to coordinate our wedding. Lauren and Krissy helped coordinate. My husband, family, friends, and I were very pleased with them. We loved them! Both responded to my every needs and understood what to do the day of the wedding. My wedding day was honestly stress free and I could have not asked for nothing more. There package was reasonable priced. It was worth the investment. I have gone to weddings where they have hired friends to coordinate. Please take my advice and do not do it. That wedding was disorganized and it was frustrating for the family. Leave it to Just Lovely Weddings to coordinate your wedding! They truly did a spectacular job. Thank you again, Lauren and Krissy :) -

She was very helpful with my last minute decisions, incredible with the logistics of the event itself, and very thoughtful with all the emotions and family needs throughout the weekend. Lauren was amazing! I'm a total type A (and possible control freak) and she was awesome. During the times when I should be worry about getting ready or what I should be doing (but instead was trying to make sure things were getting taken care of) she took over and made me feel at ease because I knew she was handling everything!!! I would definitely recommend her!!!! -

Hiring Lauren Mestas as our wedding planner was the best decision we made during our wedding planning. She was amazing! Once she came on board the month of the wedding it felt like we could finally take a breath. She was efficient and got everything done perfectly but she was caring and kind hearted which gave me the feeling that I had another bridesmaid. The main reason we looked into hiring a planner was because we wanted to take the stress off us the month leading to the wedding, but more importantly allow our family and wedding party to enjoy themselves rather than do the work it takes to set everything up. And believe me, it is more work than you think. Lauren was there with endless advice and expertise and was always answering my calls and emails immediately. Lauren also arranged all of our meetings with vendors and was excessively helpful at the dinner rehearsal as well. I couldn't imagine that my wedding would be what it was without her. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, do it. It is so worth it, and you will not believe what a relief it is to have her there.
Lauren was genuinely happy for us and it showed. She will make your wedding special and unique and really listens to the bride and made me feel like I was in control. -

Lauren did a great job helping us with all the details for our wedding. We used Just Lovely Weddings as part of our plan with the Downtown Historic B and B and it turned out great! We had some hiccups in the beginning with another planner but as soon as we got Lauren, she was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly sweet and very flexible, especially since we made several decisions for the wedding at the last minute. She checked in with us often to make sure everything was on track and to keep us updated. On the day of the wedding, she made it incredibly stress-free! I did not even think of logistics. She was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend her for your future wedding planning needs! -

Lauren is fabulous to work with!!! She is so helpful! I had absolutely no stress during my wedding. She made sure everything was ready, followed up with my vendors, gave me awesome suggestions, checked on me frequently, and just made me feel so comfortable about my whole day! She is so organized and so sweet. I would recommend her to anyone! -

Everything that Just Lovely did for our wedding...turned out Just Lovely! Lauren was very responsive and helpful with ideas and concepts. At the end of the day, I was beyond relieved that I selected to use a day of coordinator. Looking back on the decorations, I wish I had more time to get my ideas organized and conveyed direction more specifically. Overall, I would recommend Just Lovely to ANYONE needing organization for your big day! -

Lauren coordinated our wedding at the Downtown Historic Bed & Breakfast. She was amazing! She was upbeat, responsive, knowledgeable, and positive during the planning process. She made sure all of our vendors knew when and where to arrive. Most of all, she set up a wedding that was more beautiful than we could have imagined, and she worked tirelessly throughout the wedding day to make sure everything was running seamlessly. I would absolutely recommend her services! -

Melanie & Lauren are the BEST! They recently did the day of coordinating for my son's wedding. Everything was well taken care of and all the details of the wedding were PERFECTLY set up by them. My son and his wife said they never felt like they were needing to worry about anything but enjoying their wedding and being with their guests. For me it was great to just enjoy the day and not have to worry about checking in with vendors or other details. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Using their services was one of the best decisions we made in help -

Lauren and her team are amazing. My expectations were beyond surpassed. Lauren was the wedding planner for the day of my wedding but she went above and beyond that. The whole time I was thinking how the best decision I made was hiring her. She made my wedding day go so smoothly and answered any questions I had in a very timely manner. She was always there for us and even attended the meeting with our DJ even though I only purchased the "day of" package. She is incredible and so sweet.
I have already recommended her to others and I will not hesitate to continue to do so.

Lauren was so WONDERFUL, she really saved me when I had no other options, she was so helpful with everything, and she was on top of every detail. Lauren makes you feel so comfortable that it felt like a friend was helping me plan this wedding. If I had to do it all over she would be the one I would run to again! -

Lauren was an absolute joy to work with! She literally saved my wedding day- I have no idea how it would have turned out with out her! Lauren was always available to answer any questions or discuss any suggestions we had, which was huge since we were planning our wedding from out of state. RUN! We hired her for the full planning package and got less than if we had done it ourselves. THREE separate vendors contacted me directly stating they refused to work with her after she dealt with them and wanted to inform me of her behavior. She didn't follow through at all, for example, the day after the wedding she had no idea where 50 slices of leftover cake and my TOPPER had gone or why the rental company's equipment packaging had been throw away. I had to replace these things on my dime. Simply put, STAY AWAY, she promises the moon but absolutely cannot follow through!!!!!!!!
The ultimate issue was that she over promised and hardly delivered, essentially lying through her teeth in order to win the contract. We gave her a clear idea of our wedding vision day one and asked if it could be accomplisheed for $15k, she promised yes and continued to reassure us through the process, end bill was over $30k. As a wedding planner, she failed to coordinate, follow-up or follow through systematically throughout the entire process. She ruined vendors equipment, threw out packaging that was required to be returned to the rentals company and allowed the entire wedding cake to be lost. Three of the vendors that she was in charge of coordinating reached out to us after dealing with her and said they would no longer work with her, rendering her useless for what she was hired. When contacted the day after the wedding with these issues, she simply said, ' Well the wedding is over, what do you expect me to do?' I am still getting calls from vendors that have outstanding questions, issues, and missing deliveries. -
