Best wedding food ever!

Chris and his team did an amazing job at my son's wedding recently at Magnolia Plantation. Everyone agreed the food was delicious. In fact, I can't ever remember a wedding when the food was as good. Food was prompt and at the proper temperature. We were very pleased and would highly recommend him!

Incredible food!!

Chris and his team from Just Eat This are so amazing!! From the beginning Chris was so helpful and took the time to talk through menu selections with us and offered a tasting for us to get a better idea of our menu. Just Eat This provided our rehearsal dinner food truck and our wedding reception food (station style). This team works so hard and we were so impressed with how both events went. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was! The chicken sandwiches we had at our rehearsal dinner were hands down the best chicken sandwiches me and my husband have ever had!!!

Thank you Just Eat This team for providing the most delicious food and creating a seamless food experience for our dream wedding!

Chris and Team at Just Eat This are everything you need

Chef Chris is by far the perfect answer to any catering need you might have. We used Just Eat This catering for our wedding, and we could not be happier that we did. Chef Chris was such a great person to work with. He has a great menu selection but is perfectly open to any request. His pricing is super reasonable and is food was amazing. Our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and the full buffet we had during the reception. There was barely anything left on the buffet, that is how good the food was. And we had some super foodie people present so he really won those folks over with his culinary genius. Not to mention, Chef Chris has a mobile kitchen that he can use to cater from onsite, so the food was so fresh and hot and delicious not at all an average buffet. Give the Just Eat This catering a call and you will see for yours how good Chef Chris is a delivering a culinary experience that will suit and occasion or palate.

I cannot express how wonderful our experience was with Just Eat This! Catering. I am from out of state and having to plan a wedding without know anyone in the area for recommendations is uneasy but working with Chris made me feel more at ease. The food was Amazing, all of our guests raved about how great the food was! Chris was extremely helpful and responsive when helping me choose my menu and trying to stay within my budget. I could not be happier with the decision we made to have them cater our wedding and recommend them highly.

Perfect Rehearsal Dinner Choice

Chris and his wonderful wife were absolutely lifesavers for our recent rehearsal dinner. The wedding had been postponed from 2020 and we so wanted the weekend to be fairytale for the bride and groom. Not knowing if the rescheduled wedding was "for sure" going to happen, due to COVID restrictions, until about a month out from the event we were unable to locate a restaurant willing to seat an entire wedding rehearsal party.

After researching options I decided it would be fun and relaxing to have a food truck cater and treat it as a picnic. I ordered picnic blankets and had Chris come to us with his food truck. The food was perfect with burgers, chicken sandwiches, fried pickles (a favorite of the bride), fries and tots.

From my first communication with Chris, I knew I had a winner. Planning it from another state could have been stressful but he was GREAT! Those attending had such a good time and said it was the most relaxed and fun rehearsal they had ever attended. They were impressed with the food.

Future Bride's, I highly recommend Just Eat This if you want stress free food planning. And Chris's food truck if you want something fun and different for your rehearsal dinner.

Beyond our expectations!

Chef Chris and his team were amazing - from initial planning (all through emails and phone since I am out of state) to the day of my wedding, it was easy and seamless! Choosing a caterer/private chef from reviews was a little scary, but the service, presentation, and value was beyond my expectations and left my guests talking about it for days. The variety and the continuity of service was exactly what I asked for and he delivered with fantastic presentation. Each dish was delicious and tasted as good as it looked. He also made sure that I was able to grab my favorites while running around and talking with everyone during the reception. They were thoughtful and kind while being professional and very efficient in the rental home we were in. 10 out of 10 in all aspects!

I cannot rave enough about Just Eat This! The food they catered at our wedding was AMAZING! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about it. We had fried chicken, pulled pork & various delicious sides... it was truly one of the best meals. As a wedding photographer myself I’m frequently disappointed with meals at weddings, but our meal was out of this world. They accommodated our request of a chocolate bowl with mousse and fresh fruit as dessert since we aren’t big cake people. It was better than I ever imagined!! I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys so so much for providing the BEST meal to our family and friends on our big day(:

Fantastic Food

We hired Chris and his crew at Just Eat This! to cater our daughters wedding in Charleston, South Carolina, and I simply cannot say enough good about the amazing food he served. Not only was the delectable food repeatedly complemented by our guests, the presentation was beautiful and the portions were very perfectly sized. Chris made sure the food was fresh and cooked just right. The shrimp and grits were the best I have ever eaten, and the wine braised beef tenderloin was fork tender, juice and simply delicious. Chris was professional in all aspects. I highly recommend Just Eat This! catering for you special day.

Wonderful Experience

Chris and his wife, Rita, were so wonderful to work with. They catered our rehearsal party with about 75 guests and our wedding reception with 150 guests in Charleston, SC. They did a phenomenal job! Everyone raved about the delicious food. I definitely recommend using them for catering!

Chris and Rita are the best to work with and the food......UNBELIEVABLE!!! One of our photographers actually celebrated when she arrived and saw that Chris was the caterer! Chris also contracted the bar service and they were top notch!

I can not say enough good things about Chef Chris and his crew!
We hired him for a rehearsal dinner at Magnolia Plantation, I gave him a little information about what the bride liked/disliked and the menu exceeded her expectations. From the amazing appetizers (chicken and waffles were the favorite) to the pasta station, it was as if we were eating at a 5 star restaurant. Even the picky eaters were raving about the food!
Not only was the food exceptional, so was the staff. They jumped right in and helped me with the set up and I didn't have to lift a finger during clean up, which was totally unexpected. If I could give a 10 star review, I would!

GREAT chef, our food was top notch!

Our guests couldn't stop talking about how AMAZING the food was at our wedding, and we agree! The chicken and mac 'n cheese were out of this world, and the chicken and waffles were top of everyone's list. Chef Chris was very laid back, easy to work with, and gave us a great tasting prior to the wedding. You won't regret hiring Chris for your event!

We planned a last minute intimate wedding ceremony this July in Isle of Palms. We knew we wanted to celebrate afterwards, and a private chef meal seemed like the perfect option. After a google search, I found Chris! He was super easy to work with leading up to our wedding day. He arrived with his assistant and jumped right into cooking! We were able to get married out on the beach with the peace of mind knowing that he didn't need us, and that his meal would be ready for us when we came back inside! As we came back into the house everyone commented that it smelled AMAZING. He had fried green tomatoes ready for all of us, and that was just the start to an awesome meal. Every single course was incredible, and the professionalism was 5 stars! There were other small moments throughout the meal where Chris just knew exactly what we needed without even needing to be asked. For example, as we began cutting the cake it became clear to him that we didn't prepare dessert plates/flatware to serve it. Before we knew it he already had the plates and silverware laid out for us before we even had the first slice cut! I am so grateful that I found Chris to cook for us on our special day. His services definitely made the night! Thanks Chris!

Fabulous food and service!

Chef Chris is the owner of Just Eat this catering and he catered our wedding for 190 people and did a fantastic job! We had a buffet service with Shrimp and Grits, mashed sweet potatoes, beef and green beans! The salads were pre-plated and the food was delicious! Our guests loved the food and still talked about how good everything was even two weeks after the event! We used Just Eat This catering for the Sunday Brunch at our home the next morning, hosting 45 people. I rented extra small tables, chairs, coffee maker and mugs and used plastic dinner ware and utensils. Chef Chris brought everything he needed with 2 additional staff members to help. Everything was great! The guests loved the omelets and the Chicken and Waffles! They were very good about gathering the used plates and keeping things tidy! The staff was very pleasant and courteous to my guests. We were very happy and glad we used this vendor. Chef Chris' pricing was reasonable and it was also the determining factor for my choice! I will use him again! He gave me a fantastic affordable memory and I am already planning an anniversary party for October and will use his services again! You won't regret it! They were great! His wife was adorable and very professional! I highly recommend this vendor! :)

Chef Chris - great food and great to work with!

Frank and I are grateful to have had Chef Chris cater our wedding reception in September of 2018. Since we live in Virginia and were unable to fly down to Charleston for tastings, we reached out to Chef Chris based on his online reviews. Thank goodness for the reviews! They were on point. Chef Chris was extremely professional and his food was amazing. Not only did Chef Chris provide the catering, but he also was the point person for my table, chairs, and linen rental and the bar service. Having Chef Chris as the point person was a life saver, giving me a single point of contact for multiple moving parts!

Our wedding reception was held at out of town and very casual yacht club. It was a bit of a schlep from Charleston (about a 40 minute drive) and didn't have a freezer. Chef Chris brought *everything* he needed, including an ingenious way to keep ice cream without a freezer on site (not sure how he did it, but I assume I would have been impressed). His staff was terrific and multiple guests said the bar service staff was also wonderful.

The food was perfect! We had the low-country boil and it was AMAZING! The shrimp were HUGE and the corn was crisp, potatoes were perfect, and the sausage was bursting. We also had pulled pork on soft buns, as well as salad and green beans. No wedding cake - we went with apple cobbler. All my guests commented on the food, during and after the wedding reception. Serving large groups is always a challenge, but Chef Chris made it seamless and so flavorful!

Frank and I strongly recommend booking Chef Chris! He is wonderful to work with and delivers amazing food and service. Good luck!

Absolutely best choice we made for our wedding!!

After exhaustively researching various food vendors, I could not have made a better selection for our wedding day catering with Just Eat This. Chef Chris delivered top-notch, professional service and our guests are still calling or emailing us 2 months later about their favorite dishes! We chose the buffet route with 3 appetizers and every single item served was superb! Our location was a tricky spot as there was no kitchen, but with his mobile food truck, Chef Chris delivered beyond our expectations. The beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce, the shrimp and grits, the apple cobbler…I could go on and on! On top of all this, Chef Chris was hands-down, the most understanding vendor I’ve ever worked with regarding the set-up of an out-of-town wedding. My husband and I traveled from an island of Alaska to be married on Folly Beach and planning from that distance was not easy. Chef Chris and the Just Eat This team made my whole night flow perfectly, delighted all our guests (not to mention us) with the to-die-for food, and even accommodated my parents on a last minute tasting session when they dropped by Charleston without prior notice. My unending thanks to Just Eat This for helping make our wedding feast unforgettable. Chef Chris Casner was wonderful to work with. I am from out of town and had to base what I ordered from reviews because I could not do a taste test. He worked with my budget and helped me decide on a menu that was delicious and within our budget. Our guests loved the Chicken and Waffles, Beef Tenderloin and Mashed Potato Bar! The staff was professional, yet very friendly and made sure all our needs were handled with a smile. We highly recommend Just Eat This! It’s now been almost a month since our wedding and I still have people raving over the food that Chef Chris prepared for our special day! That’s how good it was! I was set on having a family style dinner for the 125ish people that were attending my wedding. I believe this was the first time Chef Chris said they had done this but they pulled it off great! We served lemon chicken piccata, beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a spring salad. It was all seriously so delicious. I knew we made the right choice the second we had our tasting with him and my (very) picky fiancé cleared his plate. Chef Chris and his team were all very friendly and responsive during the processes as well. It makes me feel good to know friends and family are still talking about the food to this day! If you want delicious food at a reasonable price, give Chef Chris a call! You won’t regret it!

From the taste testing to the wedding, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working this Just Eat This. Chris is awesome, and he was very responsive and made the process very easy. I told him our budget and what we wanted, and he created a menu that exceeding our expectations. Lastly the FOOD! Since we live in Maryland and had to plan everything remotely, I was a bit nervous about selecting a service solely based on reviews. However, Chris was extremely prompt with communication, easy to work with and even offered suggestions on which vendors to use since we weren't from the area. On the day of the wedding, Chris and his team were efficient, tidy, and professional. The food was AMAZING and even 'til this day, our guests still talk about how delicious the food was. Everything was truly delicious but some of our favorites were the fried green tomato, the Fall salad and, OMG, the smoked brisket!! We cannot recommend Just Eat This! highly enough!!He catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Chris was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and helped us craft a menu (appetizers and dinners) that we were proud to serve but were definitely within a comfortable budget. We were planning our wedding from out of state, and he made the catering part easy. He was extremely flexible and accommodated all of the little changes we made along the way. I highly recommend doing a tasting with him to sample the foods you're thinking about serving- it definitely puts your mind at ease that the food will be delicious. The guests loved the food so much that we had none left because people kept going back for seconds and thirds. Guest favorites were the fried green tomatoes, the braised short ribs, and the fried chicken. Extra bonus of Just Eat This! is that they have a food truck, so they're kitchen is self-sufficient (has a generator) and on-site. No building out a kitchen or eating food from hot boxes if you're venue is at a site that doesn't have a catering kitchen.

Chris and his team were AMAZING! He was very helpful in working with us to choose a menu that fit our unique dietary needs (allergies), was unique and special, had some kid-appeal, and fit within our budget. All of the planning was done without any in-person visits (or tastings), as we were planning the event from IL. The day of, Chris and his team arrived in plenty of time; the set up was perfect; and the food was amazing (a family member noted that it was the best chicken ever). Chef Chris at Just Eat This helped us put together the perfect menu to display our taste and also southern culture. We weren't allowed to cook in the kitchen at Alhambra and his mobile kitchen was perfect for the venue! He worked within our budget to create the perfect menu and we got compliments on the food by many of the guests that night and ever since. He brought just the pefect amount of food, so if you are looking for a leftover plate in the end of the night to take home with you we would recommend asking for that.

Chris and his staff catered my wedding last Saturday. However, the wedding was supposed to be in October, but Hurricane Matthew hadn't other plans. Chris was willing to change the date, and he even worked with me when my guest numbers changed. The food was outstanding (everyone was talking about how delicious It was) and his staff was so friendly. When a gust of wind blew my decorations, they quickly came to the rescue. I would HIGHLY recommend Just Eat This. My guests favorites were the chicken and waffle bites, scallops and bacon, shrimp and grit wontons, and beef with horseradish sauce. If your venue let's you bring in outside catering, Chris and Just Eat This is the only way to go!

Chris, at Just Eat This, is fantastic! I am so happy that I stumbled across him. With me having a destination wedding I was not able to taste any of his food prior to the wedding, so I relied solely on his reviews! It is only fitting that I leave him the " Best of the Best in Charleston" review! Sean and I were under a lot of stress, since our original wedding was canceled due to Hurricane Matthew. Chris took that stress off of us and assured us that everything would be just fine. He, last minute, helped reorganize the wedding for a different day and was quick to make any needed adjustments. The food was out of this world... most people say that you don't get to eat much at your own wedding... well one look at what he was serving up...you better believe we made ourselves a plate! The beef tenderloin was amazing, it's still something my guests are raving about. Not to mention the chicken and waffles as an appetizer. I missed out on those, but the way my guests talked about them, I certainly will make a trip up again to try them. My wedding planner said you were, by far, her favorite vendor to work with. Thanks so much for everything you and your team did to make our day special.

We used Just Eat This! Catering services for a small, beach wedding that was planned very last minute. We were so happy with everything from the set up to the break down. Our friends and family still talk about the wonderful food that was presented so beautifully. Chris was extremely helpful in meeting our guests dietary requirements.

We can't say enough about Just Eat This! Chef Chris Casner and his crew were beyond accommodating when a tropical storm hit the weekend of our Edisto wedding. He made everything work out without us having to worry about a thing. Guests are still talking about his food, especially the fried green tomatoes! He was incredibly professional and easy to work with. If you are looking for great food without a lot of fuss, Chef Chris is your guy!

Let me tell you that the food for our wedding was THE MOST IMPORTANT thing for me to get right. This is what your guests will talk about for days. Chef Chris did and AMAZING job. Our guests devoured our cocktail hour appetizers, and we had so much dinner food left over, we have been happy to eat them the next day. He came to our venue and took care of everything from set up, to cooking, to clean up. My guests loved his servers and his staff, they were so nice and accommodating. The food was beyond perfect and my husband and I are extremely happy to have found Chris!

Chef Chris was amazing to work with. He is the only caterer in Charleston that let you pick the items you want instead of having to choose from a set menu. We loved everything we picked and he even went as far as to help us figure out what best worked for us. The food was to die for! Even the bartenders and DJ were loving it. I wish I could guarantee .everyone the beautiful weather we had on our special day. Can't do that! But I can guarantee perfect food and service if you go with Chris and Just Eat This! People are still calling us and raving about the food. It was fresh, DELICIOUS, and nicely displayed. As good as the food was, the service was just as wonderful. Friendly, professional and on top of everything, these folks kept everything running smoothly. At the end of the wedding, which we held at our home, we were whipped and went to bed, expecting to get up and get to work. Chris' crew had policed up, had all the rental dishes stacked and ready for pick up, the left over wine and liquor put away - we didn't have to do a thing (thank you so much, guys). Best of all, the bride and groom were thrilled with everything. Chris was so easy to work with, it was a pleasure. I really can't recommend him highly enough.

Our guests loved the food!! We went with a low country themed wedding & Chef Chris delivered. The appetizers were mini shrimp & grits in wonton cups, bite sized chicken & waffles, low country egg rolls and mini ham biscuits. For dinner, we had a low country boil and roasted beef tenderloin. Chris was great to work with. This was a destination wedding for us so the planning was tricky at times, but Chris responded to my calls or emails promptly and made me feel at ease during the process. I had a vision for what I wanted to serve my guests who had never experienced southern cuisine and Chris made it happen. Everything was executed perfectly. The food was displayed beautifully and tasted great. Our guests were very impressed and we're talking about it for months afterwards. Chef Chris and his team exceeded all expectations for both the quality of food as well as going above and beyond with service. Chris was extremely flexible in working with us on a menu that fit into our budget. From the research that we did we could not imagine finding a better value in Charleston. Even though the prices were the most reasonable we found, you would never know it when tasting his food. My dad is never shy about complaining about food, so I was shocked when he grabbed Chris to try to get his shrimp and grits recipe!

As I said the staff was beyond helpful throughout the night. We needed chairs moved from the ceremony to reception area and they handled this even though they didn't need to. The one time I saw a drink had been spilled, someone was there to mop it up before I could even ask. If you're getting married in Charleston please do yourself a favor and visit Chris for a tasting!

I cannot begin to even describe what a heaven sent Chris was to me.

Our wedding was out on Folly Beach and after encountering difficulty with the caterer that I was planning on using, I found myself without any prospects to have what I was hoping for our beach wedding. While I fell to pieces that evening, my fiancé went online and started to search different wedding boards and found Chris. We sent off an email that evening and within minutes had a response as well as a tasting set up within a few days. We were instantly sold on Just Eat This!

I had wanted a traditional southern beach wedding with Low Country Boil, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and green beans. Chris' crew was there on the spot preparing the food and was professional, good quality food and plenty of food. His costs were well within what we were looking for and the quality was top notch. He also is extremely easy to work with and allows you the sense of knowing that he is handling his end of the deal.

Unfortunately, after the ceremony ended, I had a health issue that landed me in an ambulance and I did not get to enjoy one blessed bit of food that I was so excited about. I will say that our guests RAVED about the food and many of them told us that this was the best wedding food that they ever had by far.

I certainly hope that we have an opportunity in the future to get to enjoy your food to see what we missed!

BTW...I am told that the chicken is phenomenal. I was really glad that I had read that in another review because it sold me to plan to have it and everyone said that it was definitely a winner!

Chris phenomenal! He was always quick to respond, and he is flexible into making sure all your requests are answered. His food is incredible, and my wedding guests are still talking about it. And, he is relatively inexpensive compared to the many other Charleston caterers. Recommend highly to anyone looking for a caterer, and we hope we can have an excuse for an event so we can have him again! P.S. Get the pimento cheese and bacon jam!

Chris at Just Eat This! catered my wedding buffet style and the food was phenomenal! I was one of the rare brides who made it a point to sit down and eat my dinner and I was so glad I did. Chris was so professional and responsive through the whole process and was patient with me when I was less than prompt responding to his emails. He helped me to find a menu that would please our guests and my budget and I was really pleased with what he came up with. The set up looked great and he worked well with my day of coordinator to make sure I didn't have to worry about a thing that day. I definitely am happy I chose to use Just Eat This! and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future. (I also can't wait till his new food truck comes back to my office park-by far one of the best food truck lunches I've had!)

I found out about Just Eat This from my event planner. The food is AMAZING!!! Before I booked the company I had a taste testing and my bridesmaid and I wanted you like our plates. Since my wedding day I have heard nothing but good things from our guests about the food. We had more than enough food, which allowed for everyone to go back for seconds and some even went back for thirds. Also, several guests have asked if the caterer does private catering or if we can just have another wedding so they can get more of the food!! You and your guests will not be disappointed and I know you'll be picking your plates too!!!

Chris was perfect. In fact, Chris was the first vendor that I contacted when I was looking for a caterer. My very first experience with Chris was straight forward, I told him I will try other caterers first because their tastings were free and if it does not work I will contact him back. He was very understandable and polite with my decision. He also told me if I decided to go with him the $50 tasting fee will be credited to my balance. I always kept that in mind. I checked out other caterers and actually ended up losing a $500 deposit with another caterer because their pricing was not transparent when I was trying to make changes to my menu, I decided to cut my loses. I tried a couple of caterers after that situation I just was not impress with their food. I finally decided to contact Chris again. When I called him I said in a jokingly manner, "Hey you have to be pretty confident in your goods and services, to charge a $50 fee for a tasting and a lot of other caterers offer their tastings for free, LOL!" If I was not so caught up on just a few bucks, I would have never lost any money or valuable time at all. The tasting was awesome! My husband loved his Tomato Vodka Pasta and Pork Sliders. Everything was scrumptious. My guest loved our food selection and the professional service his staff offered. During my reception one lady in particular catered to my hubby and I. She just kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Chris was very polite. My whole experience with him has been so pleasant. He never lost his cool when I had to make changes to my menu a few times. His pricing was very transparent. I knew exactly what I was paying for, even down to the hourly pay for each staff member. He really made me feel like he cared. If you are looking for a caterer that has great food, a great attitude, reasonable pricing, and truly comes across as if they care about you, go with "Just Eat This". This guy and his staff are phenomenal!

Chris is one talented guy! When I approached Chris about catering our wedding, I explained to him that we were going to have a buffet dinner, but I wanted the food to be exceptional. It is now 2 months after my wedding, and my guests are still raving about his food! And, our wedding band, who have played countless events all across the East Coast, told me that his was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! Chris made sure that guests were happy and full of delicious food. He prepared a plate of food for my husband and I, because he knew we wouldn't have time to make a plate for ourselves. His staff were friendly, customer-centered, and on top of drinks and food service. Throughout the planning stages, Chris was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, often responding the same day or at the most in 24 hours. He was flexible and accommodating of our wishes, and said many times that his goal was to make our day memorable and wonderful. He certainly delivered, and my husband and I are forever grateful. Now we just need to come up with a reason to have him cater for us again!

I contacted Chris about catering my small beach wedding in Isle of Palms. He promptly responded and was helpful in answering all of my questions. We could not have been happier with his services! Planning the menu was a breeze and he was even willing to accommodate two of our guests with dietary restrictions. I had little involvement in actually choosing our caterer, but I am so glad that my husband found Chris and Just Eat This catering! It far exceeded our expectations in every way. We traveled to Charleston for just one day in January to meet Chris, so we were unable to do a tasting. We knew after meeting him though that he was going to do everything possible to give us the food we wanted within a very reasonable budget. He created an amazing menu for an affordable price, and on the day of the wedding we were not disappointed. We had (and since have had) so many people comment on the amazing food at our wedding--shrimp and grits (unbelievable!), apple and bacon pork loin, macaroni and cheese, green beans--it was all fabulous. Chris and Just Eat This Catering exceeded our expectations. From the wonderful tasting (conducted at our home) through to the day-of-wedding activities, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company. Chef Chris provided excellent customer service and timely, reassuring, and professional communication throughout the entire process. Chris also helped us feel comfortable and relaxed leading up to the wedding and left us confident in their delivery on wedding day. Chef Chris was also very flexible and creative in designing the reception menu and setup--helping us narrow down our choices to fit our vision. Also notable was how Chris was very generous with his time, meeting with us on-site at our reception venue to plan out the setup a month or so in advance of our date.

We also appreciated the qualify of the food and excellence of the staff during our reception. Each of the servers was constantly smiling and always courteous and the food was fresh and flavorful and highly complimented by our guests. Chris is awesome!!! He worked with me so much to get my menu in my price range without sacrificing quality. All of my wedding guest told me that I had the best wedding food they have ever had. People actually came up to me during the reception to ask for the recipes (haha, I am not kidding!). When I was deciding on caterers, Chris came by my house and cooked for my family. The food was SO good, I knew he was the one! His staff did a great job making sure the plates were picked up without being overly in your face...which is exactly what you want at a wedding. When you are too aware of staff at a wedding, it's not good. The food was amazing, the service was superb and Chris is just an all around awesome guy!! I recommending him to a couple that got married a week before I did because they had trouble finding a caterer they liked and they loved Chris too! Don't give into all the hype about the caterers that have been in Charleston forever. Chris may be the new guy on the block, but he is taking Charleston by storm! I highly, highly recommend him!!! Chris of Just Eat This Catering was incredible. We got married on June 1 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, and as a busy bride planning my destination wedding without a wedding coordinator, I enjoyed working with him for several reasons:

1) He was very responsive and helped suggest several things that I might have overlooked, since this was the first time I had ever planned a wedding and only the third time I would ever be in Charleston, SC. He responded to e-mails promptly and thoroughly.

2) The food was incredible and was EXACTLY what we wanted. He helped work with us to create the menu of our dreams. The food was southern, but with a modern twist, and all of our guests could not stop raving about it.

3) We talked with several catering companies before we found Chris, and he was by far the best value that we found. Other companies were either inflexible on their menus or out of our price range.

4) Working with Chris was not only rewarding because we had a delicious meal for a price that we could afford, but also because he is truly passionate about his work. My husband and I have both worked for caterers before, and my husband's parents run a restaurant, so we are well-versed in the food service industry. Chris works incredibly hard, and it shows that he cares both about his product and his customers.

Chris was amazing. Not only was he professional and nice but his food is amazing! I would recommend him to anyone. He was very flexible and helped us create a menu that suited our tastes and wants! He truly is a fantastic caterer and person to work with!

Chef Chris Casner and his staff did an outstanding job with our New Years Eve wedding. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Chef Christopher Casner was a breath of fresh air on our wedding date, he provided fresh food, great service, attention to detail was outstanding. the crab cakes were divine as was everything else, freshly prepared on site. Highly recommend Chef Casner to anyone with any function.

Having Just Eat This and Chef Chris provide the food for my daughter's wedding was an awesome experience. The presentation, appearance, and food were better than we could have ever imagined. Just eat this catered our wedding and simply did an outstanding job! This company is a true turn key experience. The menu was delicious and very appealing to our guests. The presentation was also heads and shoulders above what I have experienced in the past. We were on short notice but Chris managed to get everything prepared ahead of schedule and many of our guest will be using him in the future, myself included. You simply cannot go wrong with Just Eat This as your catering/ wedding choice!

Just Eat This was a great option for my daughter’s outside wedding. Having a mobile kitchen to prepare hot food with a variety of options was just what we needed! Chef Chris and his team were very helpful and flexible with changes even though I panicked when I arrived at the venu and he was not there yet. However, he was close by and everything was prepared and served on time! I would highly recommend his services! We received many compliments on the food especially the shrimp and grits and spring salad!

I spoke with a few other big name caterers in the Charleston area and Just Eat This! was by far the best value and the tastiest! They drove their food truck out to my wedding location served all of my guests quickly and even offered to help clean up any utensils, napkins and any trash. I would use Just Eat This! again in the future!

I would definitely recommend Chris again! He helped cater a party we held the day after our wedding. He was SO flexible and accommodating. The food was awesome. Really really good. I took away a half star only because the food did arrive 30-45 min late. But I absolutely would go with Chris again. His prices are fair and the food is great-- hard to beat that, especially in Charleston!

Chef Chris with Just Eat This was very professional and the meal was fabulous! Cooked on site to perfection, just right. The dinner after our daughter's beach wedding at Folly Beach was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Just Eat This was the caterer for my wedding, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. All my guests raved about how delicious everything turned out. If you are looking for southern low country cuisine this is the caterer. Some of the best shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes I have ever had. Chris is so friendly and accommodating. He will work within your budget and make sure you're getting everything you could want.

First of all the food was delicious. The night was full of rave reviews from our wedding guests. Chris and his staff did an amazing job on the day of the wedding with the food and the displays. Chris was very flexible with us as we changed the menu several times in the months proceeding the wedding. However, once we landed on a final menu he came to our house to prepare several of the dishes. Chris is a very busy guy which created some stress in the communication strings. His value is tremendous and I would recommend him highly, but would suggest you let your coordinator handle the day to day conversations.

Had Chef Chris & Just Eat this! Cater our wedding rehearsal. Food was outstanding, service was top notch. My wife had a special request for a dish from her hometown to be served and he out did himself by meeting that request and rivaling the original. Everyone enjoyed hanging around the food truck and no one went hungry. Would highly recommend JET to anyone looking for someone to cater their next event.

Chris' professionalism and proficiency was outstanding and superior to other caterers we've encountered. His willingness to work with our budget and provide both hor d’oeuvres and a full course meal was exceptional. He was able to recreate our favorite restaurant’s barbeque sauce at a fraction of the cost and even provided a to-go basket as we left the reception. Overall we were very pleased with how everything turned out and enthusiastically recommend above other caterers.

Chris was wonderful! Even months after our wedding, our family and friends are STILL talking about the fabulous honey fried chicken that was served! We did a classic southern menu with honey friend chicken and shrimp & grits... which were also phenomenal. Most guests were traveling to the SC wedding from up north, so Chris's food was the perfect mix of "try something new & southern" and "something for everyone." The mac & cheese was also amazing! Overall, Chris was very pleasant to work with, fairly priced, and really delivered on the taste of the food. No boring "wedding food" or bland flavors here! He allowed us to have input on the specific types of wine and beer, which was much appreciated. A few of my family members commented about the bad waitstaff that were there, but that could have been the luck of the draw. When is comes to the food, Just Eat This was great!! He was recommended to us by a friend who had also booked him.. and their food looked great as well!

Chris was exactly what we wanted for our wedding! He made sure we had everything we wanted! My husband isn't the biggest fan of shrimp and grits, but after tasting Chris' he said that we HAD to serve them at our wedding. Chris was very reachable and flexible with any changes or alterations we needed for the big day! The day of he and his staff made sure the food was served hot and delicious! Which it was! We couldn't have asked for a better caterer or experience!
