This was our absolute dream venue!
I booked the Old School Farm for our wedding from Australia, so I was a little nervous but I cannot tell you how much we loved this venue and the the team. Natalie is a ray of sunshine and will make your planning process as smooth as possible. There was nothing that we asked for that Natalie wasn't willing to figure out for us... including sneaking a pack of corgis into the dog park to surprise my new husband after our ceremony!! Honestly this place and the people are so full of love, they made us feel so happy and well cared for on our wedding day. We had guests travelling in from Australia, Canada, and all over the US, and they all raved about how relaxed and fun our wedding was... and how delicious the food was (seriously! it was incredible). Thank you thank you thank you Natalie and Old School Farm team! We can't wait to come visit for brunch next time we are in Nashville :)I booked the Old School Farm for our wedding from Australia, so I was a little nervous but I cannot tell you how much we loved this venue and the the team. Happy Bride for Destination Nashville Wedding!
Natalie and team went above and beyond to make my day perfect. The spring weather took a turn, and they readily adjusted our patio wedding to have heaters and ensure that our guest were taken care of!
I have celiacs disease, Natalie and the entire staff made sure that I was able to eat safely and comfortably with my 100% gluten free wedding - that no one knew was GF!
I can not recommend the venue or Natalie enough. We had the best day, and the most fun!Natalie and team went above and beyond to make my day perfect. The spring weather took a turn, and they readily adjusted our patio wedding to have heaters and ensure that our guest were taken care of!

Perfect experience
We held a wedding with about 110 guests at Old School, and it was an ideal experience. It was already one of our favorite restaurants, so it was a natural fit. Compared to other venues in Nashville, the price was extremely reasonable for the level and quality of service we received. Also, we liked that Old School combined a beautiful space with catering, bar service, setup, rooms in which we could get ready, etc, plus recommended partners for a few other services.
Natalie, the Old School event coordinator, was enthusiastic and helpful throughout a year of planning. We wanted to throw a fun party without sticking to a fully traditional wedding. She consistently made recommendations and asked questions that hadn't considered on our own: everything from tips for managing out-of-town visitors to encouraging us to come in for a food tasting during spring/summer 2018 so we'd have a good sense of the seasonal menu for our wedding in spring 2019, creating a schedule/run of show we could share with our family and wedding party, suggesting which candles we could put on tables and around the barn, creating a table layout based on the mood we hoped to set, and changing plans due to rain on the wedding day so we honestly didn't have to think twice about it. She also referred us to Humble Flowers, a local, woman-owned business that did an incredible job. The owner, Kate, met with us to learn our preferences but worked directly with Natalie for scheduling and planning so we didn't need to do anything. And, a week before the wedding, Natalie caught and fixed a pretty egregious mistake I'd made in email to Kate (I wrote the wrong wedding date, ha), which was very helpful to say the least.
On the day of the wedding, Natalie really shone, helping and managing the flower placement/DJ/photographer/guests/run of show in the most efficient possible way--again, we didn't have to do anything. I think she was on her feet from dawn to midnight, all with a positive attitude and personal touch. For example, she noticed when my parents' drinks needed a refill and personally delivered it.
We visited Old School a handful of times in the year leading up to the wedding, both for planning meetings/food and wine tastings with Natalie and for dinner with family visiting from out of town. The entire staff at Old School is consistently personable and friendly, and did a great job on our wedding day. (Again, in scattered rain, that turned into a more serious downpour at night.) We already loved the food, but were happy to share it with our loved ones, and got a ton of positive feedback from guests in return. Our DJ in particular mentioned that it was the best wedding food he'd ever had (which is saying something, as a wedding DJ).
In choosing a venue, we are so happy that we started with food and an environment we love, and everything else fell perfectly into place. In the weeks leading up to the event, people were constantly asking me how stressed I was, and were so confused when I'd reply that I wasn't. But it was true, because it was clear we were working with professionals who knew how to throw an awesome event, and that's exactly how it turned out.We held a wedding with about 110 guests at Old School, and it was an ideal experience.
