I'd like to start by saying how much I would recommend Junior Cruz, and his team to anyone looking for a great wedding photography team! From the first email, to every breathtaking photo captured on our beautiful wedding day, and the absolutely impressive turn around time on our photos saying we were impressed isn’t saying enough. Junior Cruz and his team pay attention to detail and are absolutely amazing to work with from starting to finish. I had no doubt we made the right choice! Thank you for making me feel like a beautiful bride, for capturing the most amazing candid moments which holds so much emotion from the day that we will always be able to look back on, and a huge thank you for being so easy to work with!

Getting our sneak peeks back from Junior Cruz Weddings completely blew us away. Looking through them, I kept thinking how grateful I am that our planner encouraged us to keep our full photography and videography package because it was worth every penny.
I’ve always felt awkward taking photos, and being postpartum, I was especially nervous. I didn’t feel like myself and was honestly scared I would look tired, bigger, awkward, or just not feel beautiful in my photos. That was a huge fear going into the day. But Junior completely changed that for me.
From the moment we started taking photos, he was so professional and gave so much direction that I never once felt uncomfortable. Everything felt natural, easy, and fun. He made me, my husband, and my friends feel relaxed, and we were genuinely laughing and enjoying ourselves because of his energy.
There was one moment while he was taking photos of me in my dress where he wanted to show me a shot on his camera, and I was honestly nervous to look. But when I saw it, it completely changed everything for me. For the first time postpartum, I felt beautiful again, and that feeling carried through the rest of the wedding day. That moment meant so much to me.
He also helped so much with the timeline and keeping everything moving, which made the day feel smooth and stress-free. He accommodated last-minute photo requests, made sure we got photos with all of our guests, and was so easy to work with the entire time. He also created really special moments with our parents that we’ll treasure forever.
We also booked videography, and his team was amazing. The videography felt seamless, fun, and natural, and their energy was incredible. I can't wait to relive these moments.
We just got our sneak peeks back (less than two weeks after the wedding!), and I am so impressed. I’m very picky about editing, and they are absolutely beautiful. He captured both timeless, traditional shots and editorial-style photos, which I love. He even caught moments I didn’t realize he was taking.

Junior & his team were amazing from the time we booked them. They had a Black
Friday special for Kukua brides. They were communicative, responsive, and made sure we knew what to expect from their services. I started following them on instagram to view their work and was always amazed by the photos they posted, so I never doubted their work or their services.
The day of the wedding, Junior was SO attentive, he was always directing & guiding me and the bridal party. I had no idea what poses I wanted or what I wanted my photos to look like and I trusted his eye and his vision. Im not used to being the center of attention and I’m somewhat camera shy, but Junior and his team were on top of it! It was never awkward because he made sure to always direct me, while thinking of the next poses for us to do. They made us feel so comfortable being in front of the camera. We booked them for 8 hours and had them until the end of our reception. They were always around, making sure they were getting the best shots of us and our guests. We received all of our photos within 3 weeks and they were BEAUTIFUL. They made sure to capture every detail and every moment from the night. I can’t wait to see our video, which they said typically takes 8-9 weeks, but I know it’s going to be perfect. -

Wonderful Experience!!! Our Wedding was Captured perfectly!
We got married on December 11th, 2025, and truly had the most beautiful, meaningful, and unforgettable day of our lives. Marrying my best friend, Jason, was everything I had ever dreamed of—and more. What makes it even more special is how perfectly our photography and videography team captured not just how the day looked, but how it felt. Every time we go back to our photos and videos, we’re transported right back into those moments, and it means the world to us.
Our pre-wedding shoot with Ricardo was such a highlight leading up to the big day. Jason and I had never done a professional photoshoot together before, so we were a little nervous and unsure at first—but Ricardo immediately put us at ease. He brought such a warm, fun energy that completely changed the experience for us. We went from feeling a bit awkward to genuinely enjoying ourselves, laughing, and just being present together. He captured the most beautiful, natural moments that we will cherish forever. Beyond his talent behind the camera, Ricardo was also incredibly kind—sharing thoughtful words and meaningful advice about marriage that we will always remember. The entire team was so accommodating and patient as well; we were running a little late, and not once did we feel rushed or stressed. That level of understanding meant so much. We would absolutely book Ricardo again in a heartbeat and will be requesting him when we’re back in the Dominican.
On our wedding day, we had Vlad and his team, and they were equally amazing in their own way. Vlad brought a calm, focused presence that was exactly what we needed. He was incredibly attentive to every detail and made sure we got all the shots we had hoped for—and more. His ability to seamlessly work alongside the videography team was so impressive; everything felt smooth, intentional, and perfectly coordinated. When we received our photos and videos, we were honestly in awe. Watching everything back felt surreal—it was like reliving the entire day, every emotion, every little moment, all over again.
We are so deeply grateful to this entire team for giving us memories we will treasure for a lifetime. Their talent, professionalism, kindness, and care truly made all the difference. If you’re considering them for your wedding or any special moment, we cannot recommend them enough.

I have no complaints with Junior Cruz Wedding Group! I actually wish I booked extra time to have more of their gorgeous work! However, I am very satisfied with the package I chose including 8-hour coverage for both photography & content creation collection - it was worth it! We absolutely love Junior Cruz! Our photos turned out beautifully, and working with them was so easy and fun. Abraham was our photographer and Jean was our videographer — they captured every moment perfectly.
We did the SEA Package with an extra hour of drone footage and sneak peeks, and it was amazing. Pro tip: we did a fake exit before their time was up to get some fun shots — definitely do that!
The photos and video are such a joy to look back on. They even accommodated a small request after sending the video, no problem at all. We highly recommend Junior Cruz — they’re simply the best! -

We had an amazing experience working with Junior Cruz Photography. I originally found them in a Facebook group as the main vendor for another resort we had considered getting married at but ultimately couldn’t afford. Even so, I loved their work so much that we decided to pay the external vendor fee to bring them into the resort we ended up choosing and I’m so glad we did.
We booked them for six hours, and they captured everything that mattered most to us: quick getting-ready shots, our full ceremony, family and wedding party photos, couple photos during cocktail hour, and the first part of our reception including speeches and first dances. It truly feels like we got coverage of all the most important moments within that six-hour window.
We had both photo and video, and the three gentlemen we worked with were incredible... fun, kind, and so easy to be around. They made everyone feel comfortable, were extremely organized, and worked quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated. They made the absolute most of the time we had.
Leading up to the wedding, their communication was also excellent. They were flexible, accommodating, and really took our preferences into account, which made us feel very well taken care of throughout the entire process.
I would recommend Junior Cruz Photography again and again to anyone getting married in the Dominican Republic. Truly a fantastic team to work with.

Planning a destination wedding without meeting your team in person can feel intimidating, but they immediately put us at ease and supported us every step of the way. There truly was no need to worry.
Our wedding-day crew was absolutely outstanding. Felix, our photographer, was professional, calm, and knowledgeable. His expertise shined throughout the entire day, guiding us effortlessly with posing, paying close attention to lighting, and making sure every moment felt natural. Carpio, our videographer, worked seamlessly alongside him, ensuring that every moment was captured on video without ever feeling intrusive. A huge thank you as well to Angel and Anyelo, whose support and assistance made the day run smoothly and stress-free.

Book them!
Junior and his team were simply amazing. A tropical storm hit on my wedding day, and it was the worst weather. Downpouring and wind all day, and my venue was pretty much all outside. They all came in and knew exactly what to do and where to go, taking a lot of stress off of a day where I was already baseline on edge. They were very easy to work with and did what they could with what little resources they had that day. I initially chose Junior's work because of his work with colors and how he makes background skylines pop. We just recieved our sneak peaks and I'm super happy so far. We unfortunately couldn't fly our drone that we chose as a add on service, so they are gifting us a complimentary wedding album to make up for it. That's incredible... because most other vendors would just say it was the weather and it is what it is. The service team is also very responsive via email. Where do I start? When we first booked Junior Cruz for our wedding we were a little nervous because we didn’t know what to expect. Every day I would check their IG to see all their work, and let me tell you, best decision we made! Their patience with us(bride and bridesmaids) were unmatched. Their care to make sure I(bride) look amazing during my photoshoot was just amazing. They were on time, did not rush us, they were taking care of me by holding my dress, putting on my veil and making sure it would not come off with the wind. During the reception they made sure to always stay close to us(bride & groom) to capture the most beautiful moments! I definitely can’t put into words how professional & amazing they are! Since the initial contact and until the wedding, the communication and professionalism from the team were exceptional. They provided a form where we could submit requests for moments we wanted them to capture, ensuring they wouldn’t miss anything significant to us. Additionally, they provided us with a detailed schedule in advance, allowing us to plan accordingly.
My videographer was Vladimir, and my photographer was Carlos. They made sure I had a great time and were always funny during the session. They diligently captured every moment, ensuring that I didn’t miss a single detail. I received my digital pictures less than four weeks after the wedding, which was convenient for easy download.

Wow! We just got our photos and videos back from our wedding on 6/25/25 and we are blown away by them. The editing is absolutely phenomenal. The photos look crisp and clean. The videos have all of the right angles and captures all of our favorite photos.
If your package does not include the highlight video I highly recommend adding it. I added it the day of and SO glad I did as its easy to share. The main video is over an hour long and a big file to share with others but has been so amazing to relive! We couldn't be happier with their services.
The team was also incredibly nice to work with and very happy we chose Junior Cruz weddings as our photographer/videographer. The price point was great as well which is always helpful. -

All i can say is wow!
The JR Cruz team got my photos and videos back to me so fast, even my family couldn’t believe it. Everyone kept saying “That turnaround time is insane!” And not only were they quick, but everything was beautifully edited and absolutely perfect.
I’m so soo sooo happy I chose them and would recommend JR Cruz Photography to everyone. They were so professional and fun on the wedding day. I’ll never forget when they said “You’re the boss, we listen to you” I loved that lol
They captured so many epic moments. If you book with them, definitely get the longest package so you have content from the entire day. And make sure you get video too! their whole staff was incredible and made everything feel so easy and special.
I would add more photos but my phone storage is completely full right now 😂 I need to clear some space before I can even get all the pictures downloaded! But here are just a few of the photos JR Cruz took and honestly this barely does them justice!! -

Junior and all of his team were so professional and I could not recommend them enough. All communications before the wedding was responded to very quickly even over the Christmas period. When meeting them they went over the plan and timelines. My getting ready photos I was made to feel extremely comfortable and at ease. Junior was amazing with fluffing my dress making sure it looked perfect in all pictures and even went to the effort to fix my hair back when the wind was getting too much. All the team was excellent at making sure the beach was clear from people. I cannot stop looking at all of our photos, every moment was captured, it’s surreal and amazing looking back at every detail of our day. We got all photos back 2.5 weeks after our wedding and should receive the video in a few more weeks, the photos are edited in the exact way I requested and are exceptional quality. The team were so good with all the guests asking if they wanted any photos of themselves with partners etc. I would recommend Junior Cruz and there team to any future Kukua bride, they truly exceeded all of our expectations. -

I found Junior Cruz Photography through a destination wedding group and I am SO happy I went with them! They were absolutely worth the outside vendor fee, which is seamlessly imbedded in the packages they sent. Felix was the photographer and him and his assistant captured the day beautifully. They instructed posing well when necessary, and effortlessly blended in to capture candid pictures. The photos were beautiful in delivered just in time to make Christmas cards! -

Exceeded ALL Expectations!
Absolutely blown away by Junior Cruz and his team! My husband and I initially reached out to Morgan and she answered every single question we threw at her via email on top of arranging additional time to speak with us on the phone. Morgan was with us every step of the way leading up to the big day (even with numerous last minute changes and requests) and never made us feel like a burden!
Junior and his team weren’t just on time, but early, for our proposed wedding timeline. From start to finish they were positive, energetic, professional, and well organized even with us adding two additional hours of coverage at the end of the night at the last minute. We’ve only received a sneak peak of our photos thus far, but they have us eager to see more! My husband and I are not photogenic and were anxious about being photographed, but Junior and his team gave such kind feedback on how to smile, how to pose, and how to just simply relax and enjoy the process. We never felt uncomfortable and were able to completely trust Junior and his team. Not only are they outstanding photographers, but they also played a huge role in gathering and directing guests to keep things organized and on time which we were so grateful for. Junior even jumped in without hesitation to bustle my gown when my Mom was unable to do so. We feel like Junior and his team were a part of our family that day!
We went back and forth a few times trying to decide between a photo booth and a video booth and we are SO glad Morgan swayed us into choosing the video booth! Our guests are still raving about it, and we loved receiving a link with all of the videos compiled for us to view and reminisce for years to come! The crew running the video booth were kind, fun, and interactive! We’re so grateful they were a part of our special day!
I do not regret booking with Junior Cruz for one single second! I would recommend them to any couple in the DR for their wedding! I could not have imagine my wedding day with any other crew by my side. Truly exceeded all of our expectations! -

Having my wedding in Punta Cana, DR I was a bit unsure how everything would turn out. Booking with Junior Cruz was one of the best things I could have done. They were super responsive, easy to work with and addressed all my concerns before I got there. On my wedding day, we had the best photographer. He was super fun, easy going and made sure that my fake smile did not come out after taking so many pictures. The pictures were even better than what I could have imagined them to be. If you have an opportunity to work with them, do it. This is one less thing to worry about and you will not regret this choice at all. -

I hired Junior Cruz photography and had Diego, Abraham, and Miguel. These guys were AWESOME. Holy crap. They came into my room and started working on details photos right away. They gave us a ton of direction, which we needed. I hate taking pics by myself but they made me feel super comfortable! These guys definitely knew what they were doing – even the groomsmen made a point to tell me how great they were. We started running a little behind schedule for my first looks (not their fault, bridesmaids had some dress malfunctions but all good) and they remained super calm when I was a bit panicky (I hate running late lol). I had 4 separate first looks so definitely build in more buffer than you think!
These guys were super creative and had my bridal party form a heart around us on the beach for drone pics. I cannot wait to see how they turn out! When I decided to do my impromptu ‘quick’ pics with each table, they led the way and we chased behind them. It was actually really fun! These guys lived their best lives on the dance floor and my guests actually really enjoyed partying with them lol! I asked the videographer to stay for an extra hour (I paid them the next day) and they had no issues with it. I think they were actually excited to stay longer! I told them to enjoy and help themselves to food. All my guests were raving about these guys! The next morning, I saw them at breakfast and they gave me huge hugs like we’ve been friends for years – so warm! HIGHLY recommend! -

Highly Recommend
We are so happy we decided to go with Junior Cruz Weddings as they were super responsive and professional from day 1. The day of the wedding they made us feel comfortable in taking pictures and made sure they captured all of the small details. Vladimr was our photographer and he was very patient and kind with his work. Saul was our videographer who was also super helpful and very diligent in his work. The photo booth was an absolute hit - so happy we decided to add this to our package as our guests loved it (the only thing I would've changed would be to keep the photobooth up longer - we only had it for 1 hour). Overall working with this vendor is highly recommended! -

Amazing !!
Junior cruz and his crew were amazing! We had our wedding at Hilton La Romana. I ended having a panic attack the day of my wedding and a sick 2 year old and Junior managed to calm me down and helped ease my mind. They made me feel very confident and helped us with posing since I’m just not photogenic. He listened to everything we wanted and went above and beyond to make our day amazing ! The pictures and videos left me speechless and I can’t stop watching them! I couldn’t believe how fast I received it all! The drone and photobooth were a definite plus and I am so happy I was able to have them at my wedding! And I can’t wait to see our wedding books done by them! My experience with Junior Cruz and his team was amazing, from the very beginning to the end. Junior was always available to answer and resolve any questions and concerns and his assistant was also fast at responding to my inquiries. On our wedding day, Junior and his team accommodated any problems we had with time and getting everyone together. They made us feel good and at ease with the process.
We just got our pictures and videos, it felt like a long desperate wait, but it was WORTH IT.
We initially only pay for the pictures and then decided to add the video and let me tell you, it was the best decision ever. We cannot stop replaying our video! Everything shot was beautiful, and the changes from a closeup to the drone shot LOOK BEAUTIFUL. The video looks like an actual movie.

Let me start by saying my husband does photography and videography so his standards were completely high regarding these things when it came to our wedding. The fact that my husband was blown away was the ultimate win in my book lol. Junior has been amazing to work with from the very beginning. Photography and videography were very important to me. I spent months researching who my photographer and videographer were going to be for my original St Lucia wedding and booked well in advance. When covid struck and we had to change locations to Punta Cana I was nervous that there would not be anyone that I liked available for my date. I mean we changed locations about 3 months before our actual wedding date. I came across Junior’s work and it was amazing. On top of that his communication was impeccable and he was available the day we needed. On the day of the wedding his team was prompt and worked like a well-oiled machine. The main photographer was Anderson and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. My number one concern was making sure we got some good shots, and I wanted someone that was not afraid to tell me what angles I and my wedding party would look best. Anderson was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could scream that a million times. I feel like he captured every single thing I wanted and so much more. The team was so respectful and polite. It was truly a wonderful experience. Shortly after coming home Junior had some sneak peek photos for me to share with my review and again, I was blown away with the quality of work. The pictures were so stunning. I couldn’t believe how great they turned out. Impeccable service, punctual, prompt communication……. I would recommend Junior Cruz Weddings if you have not already secured a photographer. We first heard about Junior Cruz from the Majestic Wedding group on Facebook. Booking Junior Cruz IS THE BEST DECISION.
The team was perfect! They are very friendly but also take their job seriously. Junior and his team will make sure that your pictures and video come out perfect.
We had an initial meeting with him where we set up the schedule. However, my family is Hispanic, and I am sure we were 90% behind schedule. Despite that, Junior and his team accommodated our needs and moved things around to ensure we got everything we had paid for.
We initially only order the photo package, but the video package is worth it. We got a drone and 8 hours of recording. I thought that having my guests record would be fine, but honestly, having a professional video of the big day is a must.
DO NOT SLEEP ON THE DECISION TO HIRE HIM AND DO IT! you will not regret it! -

My wedding was March 6th 2021 at Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana. I change my photographer(lost my deposit) at the last minute due to word of mouth. The group I joined for Brides spoke very highly of Junior Cruz. He was the 1st on any pasy bride recommended.
The day of my wedding was very stressful. 2 of my luggages did not make it on the trip (delta delivered it 2days after the wedding). My robe and undergarments were in there so it did affect my mood the morning of the wedding. To top it off, couple of my bridesmaids were on some shit that day. They were late even with their makeup which affected my time with the makeup artists but Junior kept reassuring me everything will be fine. I couldn't even crack a smile the entire time and thought my pictures will be horrible but he somehow got some great shots. He even kept my tipsy Bridesmaid on her toes.
To say he and his team saved my day will be an understatement.

Junior is amazing, I seriously can't stress this enough.
We were married at Majestic Mirage May 2, 2021. We initially started planning 2.5 years before- due to covid we had to reschedule multiple times. Every single time we started planning all I knew was the Junior needed to be apart of our day.
He made our wedding day so perfect. From our first conversation to our last junior and his team were kind, quick and very professional.
Junior helped with everything, from making sure the day was flowing properly, to fixing my belt, putting in my hairpiece and helped with all the posing! All our pictures turned out so beautiful.
Also want to note he got our pictures back to us way before we expected, about a month after. Not only did we get them quick there was over 600 pictures. We love them all so much its hard to choose our favorites.
Jonathan joined us on our party boat for pictures and he was also amazing. He captured 3 hours of pictures, and they were perfect! Underwater pictures, going down the slide and dancing.
I would recommend this team to anyone and everyone. My family and friends still talk about fun Junior was. He seriously made our wedding complete.

We were married at Dreams Royal Beach April 17th, 2021 and Junior and his team were amazing to work with. We initially found Junior through a Punta Cana brides Facebook group. As expected we were a bit skeptical about booking him without meeting him. Photography was one of the most important parts of the wedding for us. However, after seeing his work and hearing all the great reviews the decision was easy for us.
From our first initial conversation, Junior was pleasant and extremely helpful. He was always prompt in answering all our questions and gave his input/suggestions which was very helpful. Not only did we develop a fantastic working relationship we also developed a friendship. His experience and professionalism made the wedding day stress free for all of us.
The team for the wedding day consisted of Junior, Jonathan & Carlos. They were fantastic and again very professional. My husband and sons aren’t the biggest fans of photoshoots but Junior and his team made the process so easy and fun for them. They were very detail oriented throughout the whole day. Even our guests commented on how hard they worked the entire day.
We received our photos and video 5.5 weeks after our 2nd photo shoot which was quicker than expected. We viewed our photos and video and we were in disbelief of how beautiful they were and how much they captured. They truly did a great job capturing our happiness and love. We highly recommend Junior and his team and look forward to working with them in the future when we return to Punta Cana!
For reference we booked photography, videography, the mirror photo booth (big hit for our guests) & a trash the dress shoot. Everything was definitely worth it!

Junior Cruz is beyond amazing. I had seen so many of his great pictures but then to see my very own was just breathtaking. When planning your wedding theres a lot of things you want to be perfect, but the photographer I feel has the most pressure of all on the day to capture every little detail in and emotion so that you can look back and relive it all over again.
I was so scared putting my trust in someone I had never met before and especially living in a different country. But with Junior we very quickly relaxed and realised that his work was head and shoulders above anything we’d seen before. We looked at his work and reviews and hoped that we’d get something even half as good as the other weddings he had done before us!
We weren’t disappointed at all the photographs we got back were perfection and everyone has complimented us saying they look like something out of a wedding magazine!!
Junior himself from the very start of our communication was so professional yet it felt like he was a friend instantly, he met with us as soon as we arrived to the Dominican and the moment we met him, I knew we had made the best decision choosing him.
He has a great sense of humour and made us feel like we were the most important people on our day, directing enough to get the best photos! He has a rare passion for his work and it really shows, getting excited about different photo opportunities and running around looking for the best lighting and new moments!
He directed our families perfectly and blended into the background, managing to capture every single special moment! I’m in awe with his work, as I don’t get how one person managed to take pictures of every little detail and moment of our day! He even managed to get my two year old to fall in love with the camera which isn’t easy, but he was so patient with her, making it fun for her so she wanted to perform more and more for him.
If you’re thinking of using Junior for your wedding photography, I would 100% urge you to book him, you will not regret it!
