Did you know you could have a HAPPY EMO WEDDING!?

DJ June made one of the trickiest parts of our wedding so easy and fun! I have a wide range of music tastes and some of my favorite songs are, well, about heartbreak or rejection (LOL). Since that isn’t the best vibe for a wedding, we worked together to incorporate happy emo jams in between great classic rock songs and pop/hip hop bangers from the 00’s. My Dad is a guitarist and the “music these days stinks” kind of guy, and LOVED every minute of it. We had people in masks DANCING and we didn’t care, because the songs just made us so happy/nostalgic. It made everyone of all ages feel included and comfortable - no random rap jams for grandparents to be confused at, no sappy sock hop songs to bore millennials - it was just perfect. Everyone asked me for the playlist for my wedding and said they could tell it was us right away! My friends who knew me as Emo in middle school absolutely loved bonding with me over our emo concert days and we can’t thank June enough for encouraging me to put in music I actually like onto our playlist! She is a pro and knows how to make it FUN and I can’t believe how many compliments on the playlist I got from people. June is a delight and someone I would want to grab a drink with and talk music and fashion (her looks are ON POINT!!) - hire her, you will not regret it. We surely didn’t!!

The Best Time with DJ June!

Working with June was an absolute delight. June was responsive, friendly, and flexible. We really enjoyed talking with her about our music taste and she was really thoughtful about how to curate the music throughout our wedding day. When she learned that we love listening to vinyl at home, she offered a fully vinyl cocktail hour about which we received many compliments. DJ June was an absolute rockstar for the dance floor - guests were never gone from the dance floor because she kept playing hit after hit. Everyone had so much fun and DJ June made our night an absolute blast. Can't put into words how amazing she is and the vibe she brings!!

Great experience

We had a great experience with June and her team. I asked her for a dark wave 80s after party and an atmospheric cocktail party and reception. I also asked for no top 40. We interviewed other DJs and June came across as the most talented and knowledgeable. Our guests keep commenting on how amazing the music was. Also, their equipment and set up were flawless. Would highly recommend.

amazing dj

DJ Gibbons had a perfect set for our wedding and we are so so grateful for his help and performance on our most important of days! From accommodating the groom’s eclectic requests into the cocktail hour playlist, to seamlessly sewing in a throwback hit and dance for some grandparents (think “It’s a Wonderful World” put into a dance set without hiccups), to incorporating all of the bride’s favorite dance songs, he put our night perfectly to music. It’s difficult to state how many people came up to us to tell us that the DJ was killing it, and the real proof was in the dance floor that was bumping all night.

Music Genius!

One of biggest compliments we kept getting through our entire wedding night (and after!) was just how amazing our DJ was. DJ June can read the vibe of the room like no other, she is extremely fun and truly made our wedding night so magical! We booked June by attending a different wedding and seeing her talent, and immediately knew we would be booking her for our wedding. 10/10 would dance the night away with June's tunes again.

Great DJ!!

We had DJ Gibbons at our wedding and he was amazing!! June events was very helpful in planning the evening and talking through our music preferences in advance. And the music was amazing, every song was a banger! My husband and I did not leave the dance floor the entire night. He played all the music we love and created the perfect vibe.

We love DJ June! 🤩

We knew DJ June was the perfect choice as our wedding DJ from our very first zoom meeting with her, and she completely delivered above and beyond. She knew exactly the vibe we were looking for for our reception, and gave us the millennial grown up dance party of our dreams! One part of what we really loved was her approach to getting to know us through learning our musical DNA. We didn't give her too many notes regarding music during dinner, and she absolutely crushed that as well. I remember looking over at her on multiple occasions out of excitement for a particular song coming on. Music is super important to me, and I can't imagine a more perfect soundtrack to our night than the one she created for us. Her emceeing is so natural, and her energy is on point! All in all, June was truly a joy to work with. Basically every single one of our guests came up to us at some point during the night, and even days after, raving about how great her DJing was, and we couldn't agree more. Honestly, if I could I'd hire her to follow me around curating my own personal soundtrack every day!

The Most Epic DJ Of All Time

DJ June was one of the BEST decisions we could’ve made. She came highly recommended by our wedding planner and for a good reason. We wanted an epic dance party and boy did she deliver. We had people coming up to us all night asking about who our DJ was. My husband and I wanted music that was different and unique from your typical corny wedding music. It honestly felt like she was reading our minds all night. Everyone was so busy dancing that we all even forgot to have dessert! Even my friends who usually hate dancing were out there busting a move. Not to mention she is so fashionable from her clothing down to her DJ set up. Her setup is clean and modern looking. It was so different from your typical bulky big black speaker setup that you would normally see from a DJ. The best part of it all is that she surprised us at the end of the night and gave us the most epic ending to the night and really got the crowd going nuts. Everyone was talking about the finale and it really left us all on a high note going into the after party. What an UNFORGETTABLE experience. If you’re looking for a unique and personalized dance party then do NOT hesitate….do yourself and your wedding guest a favor and book DJ June. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

DJ June + the Shag Horns = UNFORGETTABLE evening

Cannot recommend DJ June enough!!! We hired her and the Shag Horns to play together for our reception and WOW. Every guest was talking about them and still to this day talk about how that was the best choice for entertainment they have ever seen at a wedding!! From start to finish June was absolutely the most professional and on-top-of-it of all our vendors. Her and her team at June events were extremely proactive in knowing exactly what we would need audio-wise and I felt as though I was in the best of hands every time we met with June to go over details. I don't even know how to really put into words how amazing it was to work with her and her team and the Shag Horns, but hopefully that does it justice. Oh, and June has the most incredible outfits and vibes. She radiates chic!! 100 percent recommend hiring immediately for your wedding!

We had a diverse group of people and DJ Twin T had everyone on the dance floor

June Events were so easy to work with. They helped us find a DJ that fit our style and needs and handled much of the administration with our venue coordinator. DJ Twin T was awesome. We spent a long time researching DJs as good music / having everyone dancing the whole night was a huge priority for us and DJ Twin T did NOT disappoint. Many of our guests asked for her contact information after our wedding so they can refer people to her. Thank you, Tammy!!

DJ June brought the perfect rhythm to our New Year's Eve wedding, creating an atmosphere that exceeded our expectations. From the start, she demonstrated an exceptional understanding of the mood we envisioned for our event. June's ability to match that vision with her music selection was nothing short of brilliant.

Our wedding was a celebration, and DJ June turned it into an unforgettable party. She kept the energy high and the dance floor buzzing. We also added a photobooth which was a HUGE crowd pleaser and customized for NYE.

Week-of Coordinator through June Events

Nejla Renee from June Events was our week-of coordinator for our wedding. Despite the title of "week-of," she engaged in the process much earlier, including reviewing all our vendors' contracts and keeping track of communication between us and our vendors and venue. She made sure we were thinking about all the little details far in advance, and did a great job of making us feel calm and collected. She also came with for a walkthrough of our venue where we worked out a ton of small details. We also had several Zoom calls with Nejla leading up to the big day.

But the day of the wedding was where Nejla really shined. She did an excellent job keeping all of the trains running on time, including managing the many vendors that were coming in and out of the venue and dealing with several last-minute seating changes. It felt like there was an invisible hand making the whole thing work. Even our guests remarked on how on top of things she was.

Would highly recommend June Events for coordination services!

Wedding DJ for an unforgettable day

If we could give June Events 20 stars, we would. I can't put into words just how much we loved having June & June Events DJ our wedding - it was pure magic from start to finish. From the initial meetings, reviewing our intake form and working with our planner/venue, June Events were the utmost professionals.

We gave June the challenge of music for our traditional South Indian ceremony and she just nailed it with minimal guidance -- the music choices (Indian Carnatic and Hindustani music) were simply perfect.

When it came to the evening reception, she knocked it out of the park. Her team provided the lighting as well. It helped transition the venue from day to evening, set the mood and maintain the energetic feel of the setting. The dance floor was packed the entire evening with just the best tunes. There wasn't a person in the room who didn't join in. We also hired an Indian fusion artist, Nihal Singh, who played his tabla/dhol along side June during different parts of the night. The combination of the two artists was unforgettable.

Our guests have not stopped talking about our wedding, DJ June and the fun they had. We are all in love. Our only regret was not taking enough video clips of the entire evening to keep reliving the experience. June is the very best in the industry.

DJ June is a must have!

We hired DJ June for our wedding on 10.7.23. She provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We also added the Photo Booth package. We had people on the dance floor for 3 hours straight because she was able to read the room and killed it! My guest said the DJ was amazing and they had a great time. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guest and we had a photo guest book for our memories. We even had a few of June in there It was great. She’s so sweet and fun. I would highly recommend DJ June for any event! You will not regret it!

Look No Further - You Found Your Entertainment

We hired June for our entire wedding music - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in addition to their uplighting + Photo Booth package and we cannot recommend her and the team more highly. We were lucky enough to work with amazing vendors, but June was the standout by far. Every single one of our guests asked, “where did you find this DJ - she’s amazing!” She provided music, mics and amplification for our ceremony in a clean, crisp fashion. She rocked a vinyl cocktail hour, which made us look cooler than we actually are. And she absolutely killed the dance floor by reading the room, making amazing transitions and being the perfect fun, professional presence over the course of the party.

Outside of the fabulous vibe created by the music, the uplighting in our tented reception created an incredible atmosphere that complimented our overall aesthetic. The photobooth was a huge hit with our guests. The set-up was streamlined and user-friendly.

Before the event - the team was great to work with. Thorough and efficient.

Overall - if you are looking for any entertainment for your next event. Look no further. You cannot go wrong with this spectacular team!

Flawless!!

Working with June Events and DJ Kseniya was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! It was really important to us to have great music, and Kseniya's work was even more fantastic than we could have imagined. I wish I could go back in time just to listen to her entire set again! Multiple guests let us know it was hands-down the best music they'd ever heard at a wedding, and even the event staff went out of their way to let us know how great she was! She was also an absolute dream to work with - on top of being insanely talented and having impeccable taste in music, she was also so kind and professional and really took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. We truly could not have asked for a better DJ - Kseniya was beyond perfect, and we're so grateful to her (and to June Events for connecting us!) for doing such an incredible job!!!

The most amazing DJ

We are SO GLAD we chose DJ June for our wedding in Brooklyn last week. She was attentive throughout the planning process and instilled a lot of trust (we didn’t give a ton of “must play” or “do not play” songs because we really felt she understood our vibe!). She nailed the entire event from ceremony to dinner to dancing. On the dance floor we had guests complimenting the music all night and saying they were trying to leave the dance floor to get a drink but were lured back on for banger after banger. June was also so attentive and played a song that was referenced in speeches which was so sweet. We loved working with her and 10/10 recommend.

Best part of our wedding day - DJ June!

One of the BEST parts of our wedding night was having DJ June there. From the start of working together, she was so helpful, communicative, and truly took the time to get to know us and our music tastes to ensure we (and our guests) had the best time. At the last minute, we also decided to take advantage of June Events' lighting services and we have no regrets - it helped set such an awesome vibe under the tent. The absolute highlights were the Mr. Brightside and Sugar We're Going Down remixes at the end of the night. Being surrounded by our friends and family dancing to the best music is all we could have asked for on our special day. Thank you June for being so wonderful to work with!!

What a vibe!

We loved working with June and her team to make our reception the dance party of the century! We requested DJ Monopoli and he was the absolute best! He understood our vibe, took our music selection to heart and made it better than we could have imagined. Everyone of all ages danced the night away and it was everything I dreamed of. We also booked our photobooth with their team and everyone said it was the best photos ever! Classic black and white and everyone looked like a model. They were quick, kind and so lovely to work with!

The most incredible, high energy, and personalized music experience that had everyone dancing

The number one comment from friends and family after our wedding: "Your DJ rocked!". DJ June did an unbelievable job at maintaining energy throughout the evening. She kicked things off with with tunes that had everyone rushing the dance floor and closed it out with a song that brought everyone together, truly crafting an end-to-end unforgettable evening. The music experience felt so unique compared to other weddings we have been to, as June took our music taste/recommendations and crafted vibes that fit us perfectly, never conforming into the "typical" wedding music setlist. Her deep understanding and appreciation for music across all decades is so impressive, and truly shines through in her work as a sound stylist. My husband and I are beyond thrilled that we chose DJ June for our wedding and recommend her 100%!

So much more than a DJ

June was wonderful to work with. At our first meeting she took the time to understand our music goals (brought us down to earth a bit for the multi generational nature of the event, which was extremely helpful!), talked through how all my concerns around MC, mics, speakers across multiple rooms & logistics, etc, would all be handled. I didn't have to micromanage equipment rentals, etc, it was all just handled by her team.

She helped walk us through critical audio moments (ceremony, dances, etc), helped us make correct calls about how to do A/V (e.g. her doing the ceremony, when to do dances based on the space layout, etc), and was a wonderful MC throughout the night. And of course she was a great DJ. She got everyone on the dance floor, kept good energy for older generations at the beginning, and switched us to more electronic music dance music as the night went on. So much more than just a DJ at the wedding she really made all the A/V, MC, and music such a breeze.

Amazing DJ!!

She was absolutely incredible for our wedding. Her music selection matched exactly what we had in mind based off the conversations we had with her. All the way up to the big day, she was responsive and helpful with all of our questions. On the day, she was very organized and got the dance floor going!! She knew how to work the crowd perfectly. June is the best out there!!! Booking a DJ for our wedding was such a struggle for us initially, we wanted a big dance party so it was vital for us to choose a DJ that understood our music tastes and preferences and curated a wedding vibe that would be true to who we are. We didn’t want over-the-top MCing or any corniness. June is a gem, right after our first Zoom with her we were like boom—done, she’s the one. She really took her time to understand what we were looking for and she is so professional, talented, and creative. Her setup and lighting were so classy and cool, very modern! And the photobooth was a magnificent touch. If you are looking for a wedding DJ, look no further — June is the one! 100000/10!!!

June is rad

We loved June!!! June has a super empathetic approach to music design. She had us thinking more about our friends and family and the songs that soundtrack our life than just simply songs we like and want to hear. We had a few musicians in our ceremony and June was totally game to communicate with them hook them up so the sound went smoothly. June had great energy and paid close attention to the dance floor to key in exactly what got our guests going. Several guests (at least 5, not exaggerating) asked for either the playlist or her contact info.

DJ June is the best!

DJ June was a perfect wedding DJ. She was super helpful on our intro call and at every step of the planning process. the one thing my husband was super fussy about was music-- enter dj june. from the moment we met over zoom, june understood our vibe (me depressed but dance focused; husband: horror synth, spooky) and our wants for the wedding (namely a big party with all our favorite people all night long). june was more than happy to make sure we got just that. since it was a long day (set up around 2:30p before the ceremony with an afterparty ending at 3a), she told us outright we should have 2 DJs- her and kseniya- to reset and vamp up the party vibe for the afterparty. we had never thought of this and immediately loved it-- and kseniya somehow got us even more, really keying into bryan's love for italodisco. communicating with june was easy throughout the year and a half we talked, and she gave us a worksheet to really make sure our party was the way we wanted to hear it. sadly, june got covid at the wedding just before ours, so she wasn't able to dj ours in the end-- but since we had already been working with kseniya, she very graciously agreed to do the whole dang night.. as in, 14ish hours. and as stressful as something like this was to happen on tuesday before the wedding, both june and kseniya were INCREDIBLE about it. they both made us feel totally at ease, and we went over everything again with kseniya. and the vibes all night were IMMACULATE. truly. everyone was dancing all night long, even into the wee hours. bryan was particularly impressed by tracks she played that were not on our (admittedly very long) lists that matched the vibes so well. she played all of our must play songs and avoided all of our hated songs, which i feel like sometimes DJs will ask for but then completely ignore. we felt totally heard and understood all night long, and we had a frickin blast. we had a lot of people envy the "hot goth european DJ couple" (kseniya's partner is also a DJ, which was great so he could step in a relieve her when needed). we actually went to a wedding 4 weeks after ours with a lot of the same people at our wedding and everyone kept bringing up how great kseniya was and how much fun they had. truly, june events is great to work with and you should not hesitate to book asap. i want another wedding just so we can have something for june to dj for us since we missed out on having her, too-- but if ever there was someone beast enough to step in, it was kseniya. she killed it. hire june events immediately!!

Dj june killed it!

June was an amazing DJ for our wedding. We went over what we want (and more importantly what we didn't want) on a few calls prior to the event and she knocked it out of the park.

I cannot tell you how many people told us the music selection was some of the best they have heard at a wedding. Her and her staff were on time, professional and had some high-quality, chic equipment to boot.

I cannot recommend June enough if you are looking for a wedding DJ — she brought the best energy to our celebration!

Hiring DJ June was the best decision we made for our wedding. No question. She completely understood the vibe we were going for at dinner, hosted an epic dance party, and was overall a joy to work with. DJ June is honestly the best! She took the time to talk with us and get to know us a bit, which was awesome. The reception itself was perfect, she had people dancing the whole night and we have had so many people tell us that she is the best DJ they have heard at a wedding (and completely agree!). Look no further than DJ June

June is extremely professional, delightful, and easy to work with and made the whole planning process very straightforward for our wedding. Our friends and family came up to us throughout the night saying how great the DJ was and my husband's dad even asked us at one point if we had given her any notes on volume because it was at a perfect level the entire time. Her setup is so sharp looking and she did a masterful job following the vibes of our guests on the dance floor to keep everyone happy and dancing the night away. We added on her photo booth as well which was a huge hit and the photos came out great! I'm thrilled that we received the full gallery within a couple weeks. Highly recommend!

You should book them for your wedding, 10/10

We were honestly really stuck at this part of planning - how do you choose a DJ just based on a conversation? We met with a bunch of people, and just felt clueless.

When we found June, we thought "Oh, okay. This is what we wanted our DJ to be like." From the start she was super professional, made us feel comfortable, and took us through all of the things we hadn't thought of ourselves, giving us guidance when we needed it. She asked questions none of the other DJs had, and really helped us understand what we wanted out of our wedding music.

Though June herself was booked for our date, she recommended Dan to us. He was awesome, really friendly, and had that same interest in getting every detail right for us that June did.

Both June and Dan were communicative and responsive throughout the whole process.

On the day, Dan was amazing. From ceremony to the absolute last song, the music was perfect. People commented on how fun and varied our 'playlist' was, and tried to compliment us on it - we were telling them over and over it was all Dan! Our 'must-play' list was only 3 songs.

When people tell you you can make your own wedding playlist, they don't think about how much work actually goes into keeping people dancing and excited - Dan really reacted to our crowd, fading into new songs when needed and making sure the people on the dance floor were excited about the type of music he was playing. There is absolutely no way we could have had as fun and awesome a party without him and June Events.

We wanted to dance all night and we did!

Our DJ, Joe, did an amazing job at our wedding. He was thrown into it literally the day before our wedding (as our original DJ got Covid). June Events did everything necessary to make us feel comfortable with Joe (Zoom calls etc).
Joe understood the 'vibe' we were going for. We had extensive 'must have' and even longer 'must not' lists and he incorporated it well. He read the crowd well and everyone was dancing the whole time. He helped with the speeches, song dedications, etc. Overall, he was great. Everyone told us how much fun they had dancing and how great the music was. I am glad we chose June Events and Joe. Joe was funny and personable and very professional. June events coordinated with our venue (large barn in Hudson Valley) well in advance and their set-up was perfect for the space. Again, overall A+.

June Planned the Most Epic Parties Ever!

June understood the vibe we were going for from day one. She knew exactly which DJ on her team would match what we were looking for. DJ Natty was absolutely fabulous. Not only did he spin the most insane playlists at our after party, but he even got the Indian music spot on at our Indian event. It was spectacular. June also suggested several other things like the horns and photo booth which honestly made our parties amazing. Everyone could not stop talking about the music and how fun our wedding was and everyone (even the older crowd) was on the dance floor the entire night! If I have another party I will absolutely have June involved and recommend her and her team highly!

We're so glad we hired June for our wedding! She was great every step of the way - she gave us some great advice on our very first call, and had worksheets for us to help make sure our playlist fit with the vibe we wanted for the dance floor. She kept the energy high and we got so many compliments on our playlist! We got the lighting and photo booth package as well. Best in the biz - you and your guests will be raving!

June was hands down one of our favorite wedding vendors and she did an unbelievable job as DJ for our wedding! Perfect DJ for Our Eclectic Tastes

We knew we didn’t want the typical wedding MC and wanted the focus to be on great music and dancing so we’re so happy we found June to DJ our wedding.
The music for our wedding was very important to us and we were very particular about what we wanted played, which made me nervous about finding the right DJ. But June took the time to get to know us and understand our taste in music. She took our song selections and then built on that, curating an amazing playlist for our day. June was very easy to work with and her preparation for the event was thorough which made us feel confident that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception would go off without a problem.

DJ Twin T- May 2022

This the second time my planning team has collabrated with June Events. We worked with DJ Twin T on my client's 80 person wedding. The couple was shy and said that you would most likely not see them on the dance floor. This was NOT the case. We had to kick everyone off the dance floor at the end of the night because they had some much fun dancing! The DJ equipment was the most white chic setup I've ever seen. HIGHLY recommend!

Favorite Vendor!

June was my absolute favorite vendor to work with, she's the best! What I appreciated most is that once we had our initial consult, I felt SO comfortable that I could just leave all the DJ needs and details in her hands and we'd be taken care of--I was thrilled with how she handled everything! She clearly knows what she's doing and I was happy to just let her do what she does best (and she does do it best!). We had an intimate party, with under 50 guests--thanks, COVID--and she kept the dance floor full! She included all our requests and got such a good feel for us as a couple and what music would represent us and our guests.

June also worked well with my venue--she was actually a top recommendation from them--the a/v team, and my sister who performed a few songs live. Nothing was a nuisance for her and she was just beyond easy to work with. She also has an awesome personality and I really want to be friends...she's so cool, lol.

tldr; hire her! She's the only vendor I had who was flawless, I never had to worry about her/the music, and she kept a very small wedding group up and dancing the whole night!

DJ June Showed Up!

DJ June was absolutely amazing from our first interaction, to our prep call, through our wedding. Not only did she have everyone dancing all night, she also provided uplighting that made the dance floor absolutely glow. She also MC'd the evening from toasts at dinner to making sure all dances and songs went as planned. To top it all off, she showed up in style (her outfit and DJ set up added to the decor of the venue!). Highly recommend! We had 3 horns as well that were an absolute HIT on the dance floor!

Perfect DJ for our wedding

We were pretty selective with vendors, including the DJ (we spoke to 5, including a live band we considered), and ultimately chose DJ June for our wedding. We loved the music and emcee'ing at the whole event, and seeing both our families dancing (some for the first time I've ever witnessed) gave us an amazing feeling. DJ June from June Events was absolutely amazing from start to finish! If I could give 6/5 stars, I would! We knew she would be the perfect "Sound Stylist" from the moment we (virtually) met her. After a long day of meeting with other DJs, June immediately impressed us by calling out our Billy Joel T-Shirt hanging in the background of our room. This struck a chord because her attention to our musical tastes were on point. All she wanted to do was hear about our relationship and explained how she wanted to be our sound stylist for our wedding. A term we grew to love!

Giving us homework to create playlists that she could get a sense of our musical tastes was such a fun idea. It allowed my wife and I to have some drinks and play our favorite songs together! June really took these playlists and made our wedding day so fun!

Day of her and her partner were so professional, they worked the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Doing mic checks and sound checks they really made sure the music and sound for each room was perfect. Every word was so well heard at our ceremony and our cocktail hour was an awesome mix of our favorite songs!

As the reception started, June really was a blast on the DJ Stage. From our entrance, to our first dance and parent dances she really made those moments seamless and exciting. She read the room perfectly with each dance set and everyone could not stop complimenting her work. Long after the day ended our guests really kept raving about our "badass Lady DJ". My wife and I could not recommend June Events enough for any party, wedding or event you're going to have.

We were so grateful to have June!!

June was one of the highlights of our wedding, and we’d hire her again in a heartbeat! When we first started looking for DJs, June’s mixes stood out for her ability to incorporate a wide variety of genres and blend them seamlessly. After talking to June, her interest in understanding who we were and what we envisioned for our event really came through and we were thrilled when she was able to shuffle her calendar around to play our wedding!

We chose to go with a live band + DJ combination and were a little apprehensive as to how that would work but June did an awesome job keeping the energy up and played a great mix of throwbacks, top 40, Motown, and even some Bollywood that the band was able to play along with and the combination had our guests out of their seats and on the dance floor all night. Even months after our wedding we’re still getting rave reviews for the music from our friends and family! June also did a great job MC’ing our event and was able to get us back on track when we got a little (ok a lot..) behind schedule – and none of our guests were any the wiser!

Overall, we really could not recommend June enough – she’s a true professional who has a serious talent for taking a vision that you didn’t really know how to articulate and making it happen! Hire her!

Best Ever.

It’s hard to put into words how instrumental June was to ensuring our wedding was a success. Our main goal was fun and June delivered.

From start to finish, she made us feel heard and respected, working with us every step of the way. This went well beyond music selection (which included insight into what types of songs would facilitate the atmosphere we were going for and the required song times to ensure we weren’t sprinting down they aisle!), but also overall event structure/ set up, order of events, coordination and key planning considerations.

June is exceptionally skilled at her craft; we’re still receiving comments from guest as to how phenomenal she was. Our dance floor was packed - even during cocktail hour - and catered to our music taste, while also considering our diverse guest preferences (I.e age and general genre coverage)

June worked with us to ensure we stayed within budget, communicated clearly and was a pleasure to work with.

There is no doubt that her star is on the rise and you would be remiss to not jump at the opportunity to work with her.

Lastly - to be clear - June is not a wedding DJ, she is a DJ, who just happens to smash weddings out of the park. :)

High-Quality DJ, All Genres, Very Accommodating

DJ June was the DJ for our wedding reception at the Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington, Long Island on October 9, 2021. When we found June's variety of mixes online and saw her extensive experience we knew she was the level of DJ that we wanted at our wedding. Our music goal was to cater to every genre and age-group throughout the night and to also incorporate some popular dance songs from Spain. (Yes, we even wanted the Macarena!) DJ Rok One Decades Dance Party

Working with June and Rok One was super easy and the result, spectacular! We had the idea of doing a new decade each hour needed to make sure we had someone good. Rok is a resident DJ around the city and took it very seriously. We had a couple preliminary meetings and then a four hour jam session playing each other some of our favorites. June - The Most Epic DJ Ever!

June and her team are literally the best and were instrumental in making our wedding day as epic and fun as it was. We first met June during one of our (many) COVID delays and instantly we knew she was the DJ for us. She took the time to understand who we are, the vibe we wanted to create, and then flawlessly delivered a great night.

You can tell that June is in this business because she cares about people and ensuring they have the best memories possible. She made a point of telling us things to not worry about and then surprised us by creating a whole lighting vibe we totally didn’t think of, but we’re immediately obsessed with. The whole night, she never felt like a wedding vendor and instead a person invested in who we are and how she could help make the night special.

I could go on and on but it’s as simple as this: if you want a phenomenal DJ who will take the time to get to know you, has the best team ever, and will ensure your guests are raving for days (ours still haven’t stopped) then June is your DJ. Guaranteed she will be the best wedding vendor you pick.

3+ hours of straight dancing!

I can’t say enough good things about DJ June! She is AMAZING! She is so sweet and nice and it’s easy to see how much she cares about her clients. We hired her for our wedding in October 2021 and it was one of the best vendor decisions we made. Throughout our wedding night and the day after we had guests telling us how great the music was and how much of a blast they had dancing all night! If we ever find ourselves in need of a DJ in NYC again, we will definitely be hiring her again!

Amazing DJ!

DJ June was an amazing DJ for our wedding. She played music for our ceremony and reception that aligned with our music tastes as a couple and felt very “us”. She did an amazing job playing Indian music for the ceremony and a great job at our reception. Before our first dance, she got our guests standing and on their feet, and the energy in the room was amazing. She also got everyone dancing and having so much fun at our reception! She was really flexible and went with the flow of the day as we made lots of last minute adjustments. DJ June is the best!!!

DJ June saved the day!

We hired a DJ through June Events for our wedding and we cannot recommend them enough! From the first call DJ June was so professional and easy to talk to, she knew all the right questions to ask. She was booked but did a great job matching us up with a DJ with similar musical taste. Music was a really important part of both the ceremony and reception for us, and he really took the time to talk though the run of show with us and all of the playlists and genres we wanted to incorporate.
The weekend of our wedding we struggled with the fallout from flooding due to Hurricane Ida and resulting travel issues for many of our guests and vendors. As we were scrambling to rearrange travel for our guests and officiant, we got the call that our DJ was sick with food poisoning—but DJ June was already on top of a replacement.
They were able to supply our new DJ with all of the playlists and prep materials from our original DJ, and get him from NYC to the venue upstate without a hitch. Everything was so well prepared in advance that he was able to take over without missing a beat. Our guests loved all of the music and danced up a storm, they were shocked when they found out the DJ was a last minute replacement, he did such a great job!
There are unavoidable hiccups with any event and it's all about how you respond to it; DJ June really came through for us and saved the day (and she made it look easy!).
In sum: great music direction, wonderful to work with, and she will go the extra mile for you!

Best Day Ever!

We had DJ Monopoli at our wedding and he was beyond amazing! The music was everything we could have imagined for our big day (& more). Dan was able to read the crowd and play the perfect songs. Everyone danced the entire night and it was truly the best wedding. In addition, pre-wedding, both DJ June and DJ Monopoli were very detailed and took the time to get to know us as a couple and learn exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ

June just happened to be setting up for a party at the venue my wife and I were looking at for our wedding. Within a few minutes of meeting her we had already made up our mind that she would be the perfect DJ for our wedding. She was great throughout the entire process from our initial calls, to working with us when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, to finalizing our playlists and setting up the flow for the wedding. The day of went seamlessly and June created the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We couldn't have been happier with how everything went and highly recommend her.

The best dj ever

When I think about what makes a great wedding, I think about two things, was the food good and was the music great. Working with June in the lead up to our wedding made the second part so so easy. Since our first meeting months before the wedding she instantly knew the vibe we wanted for wedding and made it so easy to plan out what kind of music would be played. I honestly can't sing her praises enough, she made our wedding day a joyous one filled with amazing music and nothing but upbeat happiness. I will forever recommend June to anyone and everyone who needs a DJ for any event. DJ June is literally perfect!

DJ June was literally perfect! She provided guidance when we needed it (like when we couldn't decide on a recessional song) and helped us balance our family's desires (to hear themselves during dinner) with ours (a wild dance party). A couple of days later, our friends are still raving about her and so are our parents! She perfectly understood our crowd and gave us the dance party we've all been craving for the last year and a half. I cannot recommend DJ June enough. Truly wish we could just have her DJ our lives.

Everyone loved our DJ - June is spectacular!

DJ June did a stellar job at our wedding. She handled every aspect of the sound design with the right equipment and a super professional approach. You will find that June is laid back and very easy to work. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and customized our experience based on our music preferences.

We got multiple compliments on the music from our guests but the ultimate proof was on the dance floor, which was packed and rocking with great energy throughout the night. She even edited lightsaber sounds into our special request Star Wars themed first dance lightsaber battle. The force is strong with this one.

One highlight of the night was when June played George Michael's Freedom (at our request) and 30 frat boys took their shirts off on the dance floor. Very amusing!

We also used the Salsa photo booth which was a lot of fun! Pics were a bit blurry, but it was super easy for guests to get their photos digitally later.

We're extremely happy we booked DJ June for our special day and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Now with our wedding exactly a month ago, I can't help but reflect and think about all the amazing vendors that made our day come true. DJ June is a true professional and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is SUPER knowledgable about how wedding receptions should flow and created a really fun environment for our guests. Despite being hired on very short notice due to NY's lifting of Covid restrictions earlier this year, DJ June was able to create a soundtrack for our wedding that was personal to us as a couple, and she even produced a custom mashup of two of our favorite songs! My friends and I hired DJ June for a house party as part of a bachelorette weekend. I'm from Western Europe and my beautiful wife is from east coast US. Our friends and families are a tough crowd to please. June made it work so incredibly well. She was very engaged in the preparations, whilst not adding any stress to the process. Apart from the fact that DJ June is such a sweet and pleasant person, she embodies professional DJ excellence. She had a good impression of our general idea and during the party had a perfect sense of how to maximise the party. It was amazing. When the party is over and groups of friends start singing together, because they were having such a good time and did not want the party to stop, that is an excellent sign that the DJ did an spectacular job in making sure that everyone had a great time. Best night of our lives!!

Wow!! I don’t even have the words to describe how awesome June is! During 2020, my fiancé and I had to rearrange several wedding plans and ultimately decided on a micro wedding in my parents backyard. June was so easy to work with from the beginning, I knew it was going to be a great fit. She really took the time to get to know us and our preferences leading up to the day, making everything so personal and unique to us. Having a backyard wedding we didn’t have anyone to keep the “flow” of the event, but June was able to create a timeline and guide our guests through the whole evening. I can't speak highly enough about DJ June. We got so many compliments on the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and of course, dancing. June read the room and created a spontaneous dance session at one point, which everyone loved. One guest said, "Literally everyone in the room who could walk was dancing" (And actually at one point, my grandma was dancing in her wheelchair). Exactly what we were looking for

DJ June was perfect for our wedding, which was at the Brooklyn Historical Society. She heard us out on a long conversation and was responsive to subsequent inquiries. She provided a sound system/wireless mic for the ceremony upstairs, and DJ'd the reception downstairs. Her emceeing style was relatively hands-off, based on our request, but she was nimble enough to take a couple of requests at the reception. She even wisely took "Night Moves," which we had merely asked her to play, and made it the Last Dance, which turned out to be perfect. Terrific experience.

Say YES to DJ June!!

Do not hesitate!! We were put in contact with DJ June in a roundabout way (one recommendation to the next) and we are SO happy we found her for our wedding. Our music style is mostly modern-country with today's hits mixed in. We listened to some of her work which seemed to be more BPM/club music. I am so happy we did not let this stop us from going with DJ June. She mastered our style (I'm sure she can spin anything!) She was easy to get in contact with, made the process simple and covered all necessary aspects for our day upfront. She also coordinated well with our venue so we did not have to worry about that at all! On our wedding day, DJ June did everything we asked of her. The area she was setting up in was very hot and she did not complain at all. We did not have an MC so she also took care of announcing the wedding party, speeches and cake cutting. Everyone had so much fun on the dance floor. She even kept us on track with the timeline we gave her in a subtle and noninvasive way. Book with DJ June, you will not be disappointed!

My friends loved her

From our first phone call, I got a really good vibe from DJ June. She was really upbeat and comforting, and made me feel comfortable about our taste in music. She answered all our questions in the process leading up to the wedding. Day of, DJ June was there on time and already set up an hour (or more, I wasn't counting!) in advance of when she was scheduled to play. Dinner was kind of a blur for me but I do remember hearing some lovely songs throughout. After dinner, the dance floor was packed. I got tons of positive feedback from guests the next morning about DJ June's picks and performance! The highlight of the night was definitely when she played 2 Ke$ha songs back to back - my friends who are huge fans were pumped about that! Thanks DJ June :)

DJ June is awesome!

We can't say enough great things about our experience with Dj June at our wedding. Leading up to the day she was consistently professional... she took care of coordinating all the rentals (we were a destination wedding), and communicating directly with our wedding planner so we didn't have to worry about a thing. A few weeks from the wedding we had meetings with June where we walked through step by step all of the details of the wedding day... this put our minds at ease and made us feel so comfortable knowing exactly what to expect the day of. She had great suggestions on how to keep things flowing seamlessly and how to get the party going when it's time to dance. She was flexible with changes that we made last minute, and seemingly unphased by anything that was stressful. The day of we were totally relaxed and able to enjoy or time, in large part due to the trust we had in June. Things went so well, and the music was amazing! Sure, we had given our suggestions and must- plays, but June filled in the gaps... With her extensive knowledge and experience dj'ing she created a fun atmosphere where everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves. Everything flowed together really nicely, and we heard consistent feedback from guests that our wedding was 'the best wedding they've ever been to!' I give a large part of the credit on that to DJ June!!

Truly phenomenal; highly recommend!

DJ June was phenomenal! From the first conversation we had with DJ June, we knew that we wanted her to be a part of our wedding... and we were not disappointed! It was an absolute pleasure to work with her! She flawlessly integrated our ideas and suggestions (no matter how niche) with her insight and expertise to make it a truly unforgettable night. There was never a lull on the dance floor; she got people from all generations up dancing throughout the night! One thing my husband Greg and I really appreciated was that she incorporated us throughout the night as she emceed the reception. We ended up getting compliments from guests regarding the music and fun atmosphere and that would not have been possible without DJ June!

Danced all night

DJ June was amazing at our wedding!!! From the time we were introduced to her via email, she was kind, easy to work worth, and made us very comfortable. We did a cocktail reception as opposed to the more traditional wedding celebration and had some specific ideas in mind. Using her experience and expertise from working other weddings, she helped us see what would and wouldn’t work best for what we wanted, and she was right! And when our reception landed on the hottest day in NYC in a decade, she kept everyone on the dance floor all night long, sweaty and all!! Our celebration turned out to be everything we wanted and that’s partly in thanks to DJ June! We highly recommend her for any event!!

Had a great time with Dj June

DJ June was great. Our party never skipped a beat when transitioning from the band to the after party, and she kept us dancing up to the very last song. It was so much fun! She is also really easy to work with which I totally appreciate. I very much recommend Dj June!

Excellent DJ!

We booked DJ June after having a really fun and interesting conversation about weddings and wedding traditions. Through the whole process, she was there to offer really smart advice about how to structure our (short) reception and how to pick songs. From the get-go I 100% trusted her to sort of usher along the party and pick fabulous songs. And she did both flawlessly. She's funny and has great taste and picked out awesome songs for my friends and I to dance to. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a DJ.
