We interviewed one DJ, MJ, and it was a done deal. He is the absolute best. We didn't even realize until during the reception that he'd done my boss's wedding (my boss officiated my wedding) 15 years ago and was amazing back then. If you want a pro who listens to what you want and executes it, and gives you the peace of mind during the planning process to focus on other stuff, MJ and Junction 88 are the way to go.

Living in Hawaii while planning a wedding at the Orlando Science Center was challenging. It was extremely important to find vendors who understood our job commitments and could also work with the Hawaii time difference. MJ was the perfect fit. He was very responsive and provided a detailed breakdown of their inclusive package. MJ is extremely organized, and professional. He did an exceptional job. The Best Wedding Dj!
MJ was our DJ at Casa Feliz and he was amazing. We had the best evening with him as he hosted our wedding! He helped run the schedule to letting us know what song is coming next as well as timeline. Fantastic MC and DJ for a Custom Wedding!
DJMJ exceeded our expectations as our wedding DJ on May 6, 2023. Leading up to the wedding, he is personable, organized, informative, and available for answering questions at all times of the day or night. We never felt as though MJ and our needs weren't aligned. The absolute best team of djs in Orlando!!!
Mj and his team are INCREDIBLE to work with. We booked them at the recommendation of our venue (the science center) and could not have been any happier. Junction 88 is able to provide awesome special effects like walking on a cloud if you want a dreamy first dance, uplights to help enhance the room, and cold sparks for drama and party effects. We did the uplights and the cold sparks and IT WAS WORTH IT!! Those effects were show stopping and all the guests complimented and loved how fun it looked. They also offer a few different photo booth options and gave us a really sweet book with all our guest photos/notes. They also provided digital copies of all the photos. That was a super sweet touch.
Mj was super communicative throughout the whole process. He responds promptly and professionally and is just a genuinely cool guy who wants your wedding to be fun and great. He offered a lot of fantastic suggestions and some of my guests even complimented how they liked the flow of our wedding (all suggestions that came from MJ and Dan).
The Junction 88 online portal is super easy to use and has helpful info for planning. There are different forms to fill out and they have access to almost every song you could want for a wedding. They filled in with expertise where we needed help but also let us express our own vision and music choices. They do a great job of listening and executing for a wonderful wedding.
Almost all of our vendors had worked with Junction 88 and they all spoke very highly of the team and after the wedding I can see why. They are truly an amazing team of talented professionals who made our wedding the best damn day of our lives. They would be great for any event, not just a wedding. Hire them and you will not regret it!!

MJ is such a delight to work with! Communicative, patient, and adaptable. Due to weather, we had a location change for our ceremony. Of course we were a little bummed things weren’t going to plan, but MJ made it extra special by adding cold sparks to our first kiss. Honestly, I’m almost glad it rained. MJ helped make the moment even more special. Also, I highly recommend the uplighting package. It is 100% worth it and completely transforms the look of the space. 10/10 would recommend!! We hired DJ MJ for our wedding day on 12/9/2022 at Casa Feliz. MJ provided ceremony services as well as lighting for the venue (market lights and up lights). MJ was hands down our most knowledgeable and professional vendor on our wedding day! Leading up to the day, we spoke to many DJs but MJ had the best combination of personality and professionalism! It was clear within minutes of our first meeting that he was the guy for us. I love how organized he is prior to the wedding day. Scheduling meeting and filling out forms with song choices was so easy. It’s obvious that he is an expert in the field! He had things in there I hadn’t even thought of. He added some really great input on schedule and song choices. On the big day, he arrived on time and even though we had a slight schedule change, everything still went so well! I would highly recommend MJ with Junction 88!!

MJ is absolutely awesome! He DJ’d our wedding November 2022 and we couldn’t have been happier. I was recommended him by the venue we booked at because he was one of their “preferred” vendors. We truly took a chance just by looking at pricing and told our wedding planner to book him. Pricing alone was really worth it. He even offered so many lighting packages. MJ did an amazing job making sure to personalize our day making sure we got exactly what we needed and kept the timeline flowing also. Our guests loved him! Such a wonderful experience!
I had several people recommend Junction 88 to me, and I am SO glad I listened! We hoped we could have DJ MJ as our DJ, since he’s big into swing and big band, which is what we wanted, but he was booked on our wedding date and he promised DJ Dan would be perfect for us and he was 100% right! We had a few e-meetings, and I filled out their incredibly detailed website (they take the details SO seriously and I love it), and other than me frantically sending a few emails requesting some last-minute song requests a couple days before the wedding, that was all they needed. On the day, Dan was wonderful – the music was perfect in every way, and he played every song we asked for, mixing my big band/jazz standards with my husband's rock and folk seamlessly, and handled the crowd beautifully. They also did lighting, and it was PERFECT, and made our venue and photos look even more beautiful! Very happy to recommend Junction 88 to anyone needing DJ or lighting services.

Professional, fun, and easy to work with!
We booked Junction 88 (DJ MJ) for our wedding at the Orlando Science Center about 9 months out from our wedding date on 8/6/2022. He had a very detailed questionnaire and timeline, which were so helpful, especially since we were planning our wedding from out of town! We really appreciated his organization and attention to detail, and you can tell that he has extensive expertise in what he does. He was not only professional and responsive throughout the process, but he was also always full of positive energy! Our guests had so many compliments about our DJ, even among those who do not speak English as their first language. It seemed like the dance floor was never empty! He also did our uplighting at our venue and he did a beautiful job in both the ceremony and reception rooms. MJ was really easy to work with from beginning to end. An Incredible Experience with Junction 88 Productions
As soon as we booked our wedding venue, the Orlando Science Center, the first vendor they recommended was MJ with Junction 88 Productions. We scheduled a meeting with MJ and knew right away he was the perfect fit for our wedding. MJ did the lighting for our ceremony and reception, provided DJ services, and was also our officiant! He was always pleasant to communicate with, responded timely and gave great information, and had great ideas on how to make our wedding reflect our personalities. We had 90 guests and every person we spoke to could not get over how incredible MJ was, including one guest who used to be a wedding DJ (so he must’ve known his stuff!). The music was perfect, the lighting was gorgeous, and he was a wonderful officiant. I would recommend MJ and Junction 88 Productions a thousand times over.

Awesome Wedding!
MJ was incredible to work with from start to finish of the wedding process. We knew we wanted him to be our DJ after our first video conference with him. He was incredibly knowledgeable, down to earth and pleasant to work with. We had a special entrance we wanted to do that we mentioned to him in our first conversation and he offered to send us material to help us out with it even if we didn’t hire him. That spoke volumes to us about MJ’s character and desire to help people throw an awesome wedding party! MJ was helpful during the planning stages and his website was very easy to use and served as an excellent resource for building our playlist. Day of the wedding MJ, was an excellent MC and kept the night flowing. He kept us updated on the timeline and made sure we hit all of our must haves. My wife and I were on the dance floor all night which is a testament to our AWESOME DJ. Without hesitation would recommend MJ at Junction 88 to anyone! Great DJ and even better person.

I worked with MJ to plan my wedding and Dan was our DJ for the actual wedding. I could not be happier with their services. They are both outstanding! Our wedding was at the Highland Manor and we used Junction 88 because it was one of their preferred vendors. They accommodate any type of wedding planning, if you want to let them choose the songs they have wonderful suggestions. They are so experienced and know exactly what they are doing. I’m a type A bride so I had everything planned out in terms of what songs I wanted, and they executed it to perfection. They even added dance floor lights which I believe was an additional cost, for free. I would hire them over and over again!

He was so easy to talk to throughout the entire planning process. He was super responsive, and you could tell he really knew what he was doing. We incorporated a number of his suggestions into our wedding day, and they were perfect! He kept the dance floor full all night long. He also does INCREDIBLE lighting. MJ at Junction 88 was the best choice and the first vendor we chose for our wedding, he made everything so easy for us! He was highly recommended from multiple venues that we were interested in and helped us out by giving us recommendations for anything we were stuck on (songs, vendors, etc). Dj mj is the best!
DJ MJ was the absolute best! We knew he was the right DJ for us from our first meeting with him. He is so energetic and goes above and beyond to make sure the evening is perfect, even if it doesn’t fall under his duties (like tracking down a band-aid for you!). We gave him just a few songs that we wanted and didn’t want played and left it up to him to get the party started and he kept us partying all night long. I haven’t danced that hard in a long time! He also has great suggestions for entrance songs, cutting the cake songs, cocktail reception playlists etc.
MJ is extremely thoughtful and puts the bride and groom first above all else. He will not let your random uncle come up and request a song or make a speech without consulting you, ensuring that your wedding reception is just as you want it to be!
He has great add-ons that you can book, as well like spot lights and cold sparks.
We cannot thank MJ enough. Our wedding reception was absolute perfection and I wish we could relive it again. You will not be disappointed if you book MJ!

We cannot say enough good things about MJ and his team at Junction-88 Productions! MJ made us feel at ease through the entire process! He offered insight and advice to help us create our perfect vision! Our guest cannot stop raving about what a fun party we had at our reception! The dance floor was nonstop and the music was spot on! MJ also helped us with lighting and we could not be happier with how beautiful our reception room turned out! MJ had amazing communication and responded to my every question before the big day...even through 3 reschedules (thanks Covid )! We can’t thank MJ enough for making our big day better than we could’ve imagined!

Junction 88 was by far our favorite vendor, not only did he take the time to get to know us before the wedding but the whole wedding day he was reading the room and making it the best experience for everyone. I don't think anyone was more quick on their toes and just invested in making everything go so smoothly! I could not recommend a DJ more and I am so thankful we worked with this team!

Dj MJ - junction 88 productions was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Words cannot describe how incredible he was. From the professionalism he showed from day one all the way to making sure myself and my husband were having the time of our lives on our wedding day! He was more than just a Dj , he made sure everything was going on smoothly and without a hitch! He coordinated with my wedding coordinator, which made it so much easier for me because I didn’t have to do anything! I wish I could have another wedding , just to hire him again! Best DJ ever! I was extremely pleased with the services that was provided. MJ was amazing and did a great job at keeping up with every change I had even at the day of the wedding! He was amazing at keeping my guest dancing all night and having a great time! He did a great job at setting up lights in my venue and gave it a touch I didn't think I needed. He also made sure that the day of the wedding he kept everything running smoothly and stress free! 100% recommend and you need him as your DJ!!!

Dj mj best dj ever!
We met MJ at a wedding vendor event at the Orlando Science Center. A DJ was one of the last vendors that we needed to book for our wedding reception and also one of the most important. We approached MJ’s booth and he gave us really good info. We walked away with a plan to contact MJ later that week because he made such an amazing first impression, but as soon as we saw another couple talking to him, we immediately went back and booked him on the spot because we knew we needed his contagious positive energy and professionalism at our reception! We could not have imagined a better wedding reception DJ. MJ was so attentive to our wants and needs. Every song played the entire night was PERFECT and really kept up the momentum of the crowd. MJ really knows how to read his crowd and match the energy to get the party started and keep it going. Every song and announcement flowed so well and sounded so extremely exciting and professional. MJ approached us near the end of the night to let us know that every song we had requested had been played and to ask if there was anything else we wanted to hear before the end of the night, but the only response we had was that everything had been absolutely perfect. The up lighting that MJ provided was stunning and matched our vision perfectly. The Junction88 portal was so user-friendly and made planning every detail of our reception easy and enjoyable. We were also able to book our photo booth through Junction88 and it was one of the coolest and most intuitive booths we’ve seen and all of our guests loved the fact that they were able to print, text, or email themselves the photos on the spot. We really can’t say enough about MJ and how much he did to make our wedding reception everything we had dreamed of and more!

Every thing happens for a reason!
For our wedding, we initially had a different company booked for DJ services. Due to Covid, we had to postpone our wedding and our original DJ was not available for our new date. Our venue was Historic Dubsdread Ballroom, which offered us a recommended vendor list. We took a peak and decided to reach out to MJ at Junction 88. Let me tell you, every thing really does happen for a reason because MJ was absolutely incredible. From our very first meeting, we could tell MJ was going to be such a wonderful addition to our big day. He was friendly, knowledgable and had us laughing non-stop. We booked him for ceremony and reception lighting and music. He talked to us about tech (microphones, sound, uplighting), things we honestly didn't even really think about. With Covid, many of our guests could not physically be at our wedding, including Dan's parents who live in England. It was extremely important to us that they could watch our ceremony through a live stream and also that we could display the Best Man speech during the reception. Not only did MJ make that happen, he also set up the stream during cocktail hour and the reception so that they could be a part of our entire day! This was something we honestly did not even think about but was an absolute joy for our distant friends and family. MJ did such a great job with music choices and also including everyone's requests (especially ours!). I can't say enough good things and am very thankful he was a part of our big day.

Highly organized, flexible, & energetic
We got married on 11/7/2019. MJ was phenomenal to work with for our wedding; from the planning to the execution was impressive. He is very tech-savvy; he has a "one-stop shop" to manage your DJ needs. I was able to select music, make payments, and provide important schedule details on his user-friendly website. He's very thorough, outgoing, up-to-date on current trends, and overall just a stand-up guy. He also offers up-lighting, which was so beautiful and the icing on the cake during our reception. He even quickly hopped on board with my videographer when I had a last minute request to play a surprise, recorded letter read. He collaborated so well with pilling it all off flawlessly. Very impressed with him!!! Thank you, thank you, DJ MJ for being such a good DJ on our special day! I'm glad your brother-in-law referred you to me!!! And let's not forget the awesome BOGO he designed, it looked perfect!!!!

Beyond our expectations!
MJ at Junction 88 was the BEST!!! Our initial planning meeting was awesome, he was super accommodating. Very receptive to our requests, but had such great ideas also!! One thing you don't think about, or at least I did not - is how your DJ is essentially in charge of running most of your wedding next to your coordinator! He made sure it was seamless, and even checked in with us a few times to be sure it was going just as we wanted and adjusted with the crowd. Highly recommend!!!

Nonstop party
After meeting MJ in person, there was no competition with other DJs we talked to. His energy is amazing!! MJ was absolutely seamless to collaborate with and made our wedding perfect. We had countless guests come up to us to comment on how our wedding had the best music and the dance floor was PACKED all night. There were no awkward pauses, breaks in the music, or anything we can even try to "complain" about. MJ went above and beyond all night and even went out of his way to make sure we had food during dinner and had time to ourselves to really soak it all in. MJ knows how to read the room, hype the crowd, and keep the night going. 10/10 will recommend to anyone and everyone without hesitation. WE LOVE YOU MJ!!

DJ MJ is the best!!! One of our top priorities, as we started the planning process, was to select a DJ that was passionate about music, energetic and knowledgeable about the wedding industry. MJ absolutely exceeded our expectations in so many ways and after our initial meeting, we walked away with complete confidence that we had to go with Junction 88. MJ was so passionate about his work that he even came out to our venue tour with us to see how the day would work out logistically and tackle any details months out before the wedding. Talk about going above and beyond! Another spectacular part about his services is the online portal where you can conveniently plan your day, event by event, song by song, with a drag/drop feature to include your playlist, preferred songs, do not play songs and more. Not only is MJ a fantastic key partner throughout this entire process with his responsiveness and care, he is also a low-key event planner because he will genuinely help you think of every scenario, suggestions to keep the party going, and be there for you so that you don't have to worry about anything! We are so lucky to have met MJ because he is now a vendor, turned friend and we couldn't be more thankful to have thrown the best party of our lives with his help!

Junction 88 Production EXCELLENCE!
DJ MJ!! It would be an absolute mistake to anyone out there that were to not give Junction 88 Productions a chance at their wedding.
From the time that we reached out to set an appointment up, we were blown away. DJ MJ took as much time out of his day as we felt needed to be comfortable in choosing him as our vendor. Even after we had signed on, he met us at the venue to go through the game plan and met with us on a separate day to go through all the details. Outside of his excellent ability to actually do his own job with song selection and knowledge, he was also a fantastic Event Planner in a sense. He communicated with the other vendors to make sure that not only he is successful in what is needed on his end, but also to make sure everyone else was set up for success.
As expected, he stole the show. Everybody loved his ability to read the crowd and play the next best song. Absolutely stellar job of using the songs we provided as well as other songs that fit the mood.
I also need to say that Junction 88 website is the best in class. You have the ability of dragging and dropping all and any songs to categories like "Must Play" or "Do not Play". By far the easiest functionality when you're trying to plan out so many other details.
DJ MJ, we can't say enough of how much we love you as an individual as well as our Vendor. Your many years in service speaks volume. Thank you!!

Wonderful DJ would recommend!!!
MJ was absolutely amazing during our wedding planning process and the wedding itself. We were unsure how to make our event go the way we wanted and MJ was able to provide suggestions and help us fill in the blanks when we were unsure about anything. There was also an easy to use website for planning that laid everything out so that we knew exactly what details to plan. We were so much less stressed than we would have been without MJ to help the event go smoothly. Junction 88 also did the lighting for our reception and made the room look amazing!! We also had live musicians for the ceremony and MJ worked with them to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible.
We had family and friends tell us after the wedding that our DJ was amazing and that the pacing of the reception was perfect. Plus, every other vendor we booked said that they loved working with MJ. I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a DJ to go with Junction 88!

Simply the best
Honestly, I cannot say enough about MJ. There are not enough positive words in the dictionary. Junction 88 was not on the preferred vendor list for our venue, but was on the list of another venue we looked at. The staff at that venue could not stop talking about how amazing he is. So even though we did not book that venue (oops), we had to reach out to MJ and see what all the hype was about. He lived up to it and more. We never even interviewed another DJ... and we interviewed multiple vendors for every other slot. But with this one, we knew no one else would compare. MJ is honestly the greatest. He is super fun, kind, energetic, charismatic, organized, reliable and so much more. We knew we liked him from the first few minutes of our call. He has an awesome online system that allows you to provide all the details of your wedding - and I mean all the details. He will not miss one detail no matter how small! The system also allows you to make a list of the songs you definitely want played, the ones you would like played, and a do not play list. It is easy to use and a great way to organize all of your information. Then, on the day of, he was an actual superhero. Throughout our wedding, he wore so many hats - he was our DJ (obviously), MC, kept the party going, he made sure we ate, helped clear plates off our sweetheart table, kept checking in, etc. He went above and beyond. He was so detailed (he played Harry Potter music when he heard it mentioned in the Best Man's speech - such a cute touch!) and just made the night so amazing and stress free. Plus, we did uplighting with him and he made a custom bright pink light color for me and it was beautiful. He is just the sweetest and such a fun guy. I highly recommend hiring Junction 88!! You'll be extremely glad you did!

Awesome DJ
DJ MJ was an amazing DJ! We knew we wanted an AWESOME DJ for our wedding because they are the ones who keep the party going for the reception. MJ did not disappoint! We knew right away when it came to this decision we wanted to hire Junction 88 because he was an excellent DJ at my older sisters wedding 6 years prior. MJ has the talent for reading the crowd and keeping the party going. He created a fun night for all of my family and friends while not only picking great music but also demonstrating how to do the group dances properly. :) Our guest felt comfortable requesting songs and getting up and dancing. Our wedding was a small destination wedding however, most everyone spent the night dancing. All of my friends and family are still talking about the fun they had during that night! Thank you MJ for making our wedding the fun night we had envisioned.

MJ is amazing!!!
MJ is amazing! We chose MJ because it was clear how passionate he was about music. Immediately when we left our initial meeting with him, we knew we didn’t have to keep interviewing other DJ’s. The great thing about going with Juntiction 88 is the level of control that you have over your music choices! MJ has an online music library with thousands of songs that you can quick play and search. He even has music categorized by “father daughter dance,” “mother son,” etc. so you don’t necessarily have to google everything to see the popular songs. You can also submit ALL of this information through his online website/library that he gives you access too. It’s all broken down by timing of your wedding to make it easy to piece together. Before the wedding we went through all of our requests to make sure that we were on the same page. MJ knows A TON about weddings. He gave us so many tips during our pre-wedding meeting that we wouldn’t have known otherwise like photo tips, timing tips, and overall flow for the wedding that we never thought of. He’s like a DJ-planner all in one.
The wedding went off without a hitch and everyone was constantly on the dance floor having a great time. MJ is great about directing guests where they need to be and on time, which was super important for us since ceremony to reception was only 4.5 hours! The most important part of our wedding was to dance to a cover version of “September” that we found online. MJ was actually able to play that song for us as our first dance and it sounded PERFECT! It made our night. We are so grateful for MJ and highly recommend him to any couples looking to have an awesome night! He is so enthusiastic and loves music. Everything you want in a DJ.

He worked with us so much over the phone because we lived out of state from where we were having our wedding. He kept everything moving from the ceremony to the reception. If I can give them 10 stars, I would! So personable and trustworthy. MJ made sure my wedding ran so smoothly - he even helped put out a fire at the buffet table! He accomdated our many requests including supplying music for our trivia game. This should be your DJ for your wedding
I cannot say enough wonderful things about MJ and everyone at Junction 88. We chose them based off the recommendation of our venue [the science center] and he was amazing. He met close to where we live and after work for us to discuss plans about music selections for the wedding and made us feel at ease about the planning process. He also easily put together a lighting package for us for the ceremony space which led to absolutely beautiful pictures about a week before the wedding. MJ's professionalism and experience as being a DJ kept us dancing the whole reception while keeping us on schedule with the night events. Thank you MJ for the perfect wedding!

MJ was absolutely fantastic. We went to meet him to see if he would be a good fit as a DJ, but he was so amazing we hired him as officiant as well which was a great decision. Our wedding wasn’t exactly traditional and he worked with us on everything, including dropping a few events the night of the wedding.

DJ MJ kept the party going all night long. Everyone at our wedding, ranging from my 89-year-old grandparents to my high school-age cousins, was on the dance floor. MJ was so much fun to work with, having a lot of enthusiasm without being that standard DJ cheesy. He also kept the wedding organized. He was really helpful in structuring the timeline of our reception before the event, and on the day of our wedding he smoothly moved us from introductions and toasts to cake cutting and the final song. He also provided uplighting that was beautiful during the dinner, and then during the party it changed colors to the beat of the music! He provided more lights than what other DJs said they were willing to provide, and those lights really made the room pop. I would highly recommend Junction 88 Productions for your DJ and uplighting.

MJ was the perfect fit for our wedding. He was fun, energetic and helped us throw and AWESOME party! He was the first and only DJ that we met with before booking. We immediately felt comfortable with him and trusted he would provide great service so we didn't have to think twice. He also has an awesome website where you can enter in ALL of your wedding/event details and choose exactly what songs you want. Day of, he did our ceremony music and the reception and we couldn't have been happier. He is great at getting your crowd excited and dancing. HIGHLY recommend!!

My husband and I got married in Orlando but live in Tallahassee. MJ was very flexible and was able to communicate with us via Skype calls, instead of us having to drive down to Orlando to meet with him. He was very kind and informative, and the best M.C./DJ! He even made sure that we were able to have food and cake before making formal dance announcements. My husband and I gave him some music requests very very very last minute, but he made sure to include them all! Overall very flexible, professional and kind! Thank you so Junction 88!

DJMJ did a great job at our wedding! The lighting was beautiful, the music was fun, and everyone knew what was happening and when thanks to DJMJ acting as our MC. Prior to the wedding day, DJMJ made some helpful suggestions as far as timeline, music choices, etc. and the website made it very easy to plan everything and select songs. We would definitely recommend DJMJ to anyone looking to plan an event!

MJ and Kat are incrediable! MJ has such a great energy and prescience, his voice was meant to be a DJ. He kept the party going, he was responsive to what the guests wanted, and he was the best decision I could have made for a vendor. Kat is equally amazing and incrediable! She was so attentive to detail, made sure we were on time, and hamdeled any issues that arose with ease.

We used joe at junction 88 for our wedding at paradise cove in October. We are from the uk and I had a million questions to ask before our wedding, joe answered all of them swiftly and professionally no matter how trivial my question was. The planning page on their website was easy to use, and my playlist was played exactly how I wanted, everything sounded amazing which added to the emotion, excitement and feeling of the day. Working in the wedding industry, let me tell you, I have seen some horrible DJs!!! I tell my couples that it’s one place you can’t cheap out on. They set the whole tone of the wedding and can really screw up your ceremony, introductions, dances, and make the difference on whether you have a dance party or a snooze fest. When it was time to plan my own wedding I knew instantly I was going to go with MJ from Junction 88. He’s got the perfect combination of being entertaining but also professional. His set up is sleek and un-intrusive, so many others are so ugly! He kept everything on track with a timeline, and the dance floor was packed. I didn’t need lighting but I know if I did, he has it, which can save you a lot of money to book a package. Could not have been a more perfect day, thank you MJ!!

I do not even know where to begin with how amazing DJ MJ was at my wedding this weekend! So many people are still raving about how great it was and how awesome the music was. MJ was so great from the first meeting up to the day of. He really listened to us and understood what we were looking for. We had several changes with our music and his assistant, Kat, was also so accommodating! We used MJ for our ceremony music and the reception and he was just perfect. He kept our guests dancing all night...some even told me they lost track of time they were dancing so much! I received so many compliments on our DJ and highly recommend DJ MJ and Junction 88 Productions!

MJ of Junction 88 is an incredible DJ and professional! He and his colleague Joe executed our wedding perfectly. Our wedding was a bit complicated and unorthodox, in that we had separate bridal and groom’s receptions before the ceremony, and each of those receptions, combined with the ceremony and then the big party required lots of different audiovisual needs. It was even more complicated by the fact that they took place in 4 different rooms, and all of the audio needed to be able to communicate with each other across rooms. We also had a live performance worked into our ceremony. He ran everything perfectly, and clearly had the extensive experience and expertise to ensure it was all executed seamlessly. When we started to run behind schedule due to circumstances beyond our control, his quick thinking led him to propose a shift in the order of our reception’s events, which made the night run so much more smoothly than it would have otherwise! In addition, MJ brought lights to amp up the party and supplied a “gobo” light projection of our wedding logo for two different rooms. MJ’s demeanor is super-friendly and very confident/calm in the frenzy of a wedding day. He took all the time I needed in order to meet with us to make us feel comfortable. I can not recommend MJ enough!

From our initial conversations with David to working with MJ, we had an amazing time! They were both fun and informative. They were easy to work with and had great insight on how to do the uplighting of our venue. They have additional lighting for outdoors too, we were able to add on the market street lighting for our out door space for our ceremony. The uplighting at the ceremony location and at the reception was extraordinary. Definitely helped set the wedding atmosphere to make it even more magical. Their knowledge in music was astonishing! They were easily available to help answer any music questions and help find the perfect songs for the dances. MJ worked our wedding and he was entertaining and provided great music to keep our party going! I highly recommend Junction 88 for any function!

We met MJ at a bridal show and he was instantly engaging and extremely friendly. We set up our first meeting and booked immediately. MJ had so many awesome ideas for our wedding and made the room look beautiful with uplighting. We loved our DJ, David, who has been doing this for many many years and has so much talent. All the music turned out awesome the day of the wedding, even my 77 year old dad who doesn't normally care about music, commented to me that he's never heard such a great DJ before. They even make the process of picking music very easy, mostly done online for your convenience. The owner was always there for me when I had questions, I would just send an e-mail and always got a quick response.

Working with Junction 88 Productions was absolutely wonderful. Our DJ was MJ, and from our very first Skype meeting (we were doing long-distance planning), we absolutely knew we'd chosen the right vendor. MJ's positive energy was absolutely infectious even over the video call, and it shined through even greater at our event. MJ was able to make recommendations when we needed them, provide logistical tips, and he worked effortlessly with our other vendors.
Junction 88's online system for keeping track of event details, song choices, guest song requests, notes and payment was so easy and handy. It meant I could make tweaks throughout the planning process whenever worked for me without dealing with a clunky document or constantly emailing someone. My guests loved the song request process and one even mentioned that she wanted to use the exact same system for her wedding.
On the day of our wedding, MJ was incredible as an emcee and a DJ. Our crowd was a bunch of introverts, and so I was seriously worried about having an empty dance floor, but MJ got them on their feet and dancing the entire night. (Three days later, we're still getting texts from guests saying they're a little sore from dancing so much!) He danced at the booth and at one point actually came out to show our crowd how to do one of the dances. He fielded song requests well and my guests were giddy to hear their choices played.
MJ also did lighting for our event, which turned out absolutely incredible. From lighting up our large reception area to adding small, gorgeous lights under every seat during our ceremony, MJ turned our already awesome venue into something utterly gorgeous. I literally gasped the first time I saw our ceremony area with his lighting.
I cannot recommend Junction 88 Productions and specifically MJ enough. They made the planning process as easy as possible and gave the event an incredible and fun atmosphere.

I cannot say enough great things about DJ MJ and Joe! Not only did they come HIGHLY recommended by our reception venue, but they were so on point with communication, event details and hilariousness! Our reception would not have been a party without MJ! He has a great online portal you can use to add songs, plan the ceremony and reception elements and accept guest song requests. My husband and I had our wedding at The Orlando Science Center, where MJ came highly recommended. We totally get why The Science Center loves working with him! Due to rain, we had to change our reception last minute and bring it indoors, MJ knew how much I wanted an outdoor reception, and made sure that our new reception space looked absolutely stunning. He came prepared with extra uplights and made the Dino Digs room look beautiful, he definitely helped turn an upsetting circumstance into something wonderful. MJ was such an incredible MC and truly made the flow of our reception flawless. The music was spot on to our needs & when he saw a lull on the dance floor he knew exactly what to do to make it exciting again! Our guests have told us numerous times, specifically, how great our DJ was and how much fun they had on the dance floor. MJ was *amazing*. We hired Junction 88 for our wedding at the Orlando Science Center (where he came highly recommended) and he did our uplighting and music. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him and his crew. Meeting with him was like chatting with an old friend. He *got* us and was able to transform the unorganized snippets of random ideas in our head to real life.
He was wonderful to work with beforehand, the whole planning process. He has an excellent website that allows you to sort of organize everything at home (if you want) as well as make payments. He was very accessible, easy to reach, willing to meet and very prompt with correspondence.
On the day of, he took care of everything and it was all very organized and well done. The music was spot on, the flow of the evening seamless and everyone had a wonderful time including myself and my husband.
I cannot recommend him enough, just an amazing person overall. :)

Talk about a great personality, fantastic DJ skills (and to top it off) a great officiant! M.J. was our wedding DJ and it was so fun to work with him. He was extremely organized and had a broad taste in music. The DJ website we used to plan the wedding ceremony/reception was extremely user friendly. We found out a few weeks before the wedding that our officiant was not going to make it and we turned to M.J. immediately. What a great decision that was! He made our ceremony beautiful and smooth. The lighting he has to offer is SO COOL. He is able to make any venue look amazing with his lights. We had an outside reception, at night, and the lighting transformed the walls. The music at the reception was spot on for what we asked for. I absolutely loved that he kept me in control all night. If any odd requests from a guest came up, he made sure to ask me first. Junction 88 Productions and MJ were wonderful. MJ was the DJ for our wedding and also did our outdoor lighting. We were planning the wedding from out of town and did our initial consultation via Skype. MJ also met with us in person to go over the music for our wedding and even met us at our venue to discuss lighting. He did an excellent job playing music that we loved and made sure our guest were having a good time. The dance floor was packed all night! The lighting was also beautiful and really enhanced the atmosphere. We are so glad we chose Junction 88 Productions and would recommend MJ for DJ and lighting services to everyone!

This company is awesome.
MJ is an absolute genius with weddings and did a fantastic job combining our eclectic music tastes, the different cultures represented at the wedding and music that was fun to dance to. On top of that his lighting was beautiful and definitely transformed our already wonderful venue into something absolutely stunning.
We was fun and energetic without being over the top and annoying, and he was very responsive to the types of songs we wanted and didn't want. He played every single song on our must play and play if possible lists, and continued to perfectly match the tone of the wedding. He also did the music for the ceremony, which was, once again, perfect. Almost every small detail went exactly as planned if not better.

DJMJ and Junction 88 did a PHENOMENAL job on the music and lighting for our wedding. After traveling down to Fort Lauderdale to a venue they've never been at before, Junction 88 and DJMJ went above and beyond our expectations with the lighting and music that was provided. With an incredible amount of care and professionalism, there was not a moment that passed where a desired song wasn't played or a moment wasn't captured by the choice of song he played. The lighting was beautiful and the suggestions he gave in regards to song choice throughout the event were invaluable throughout the process. We knew that having Junction 88 as our DJ and lighting would be one less thing to worry about on the day of our wedding and DJMJ definitely exceeded our expectations!!

DJ MJ is the absolute greatness!!!! He was so much fun to work with from the very first meeting!! He is so personable, has a great attitude, and is all about providing what you want! He made our wedding day go off without a hitch and had the entire guest list on the dance floor nonstop! Any event i have that needs a DJ i am calling him immediately!

A big thank you to Junction 88 and MJ for the wonderful service you provided me and my husband at our wedding. MJ was professional, upbeat and enthusiastic, which made our wedding that much more fun. MJ listened to my ideas and brought them to life (Motown themed cocktail hour, early jazz dinner), and his DJing never felt invasive or cheesy. He got all my guests dancing and kept the partying going all night. I would highly recommend Junction 88 for your next event!
