Best vendor decision we made!
I truly cannot recommend Julie Wilhite highly enough as a wedding photographer. She and her team were a joy to work with and one of the most professional, well-organized vendor experiences we had. Julie covered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day from start to finish, and the resulting photos absolutely blew us away!! They are stunning, captured so many special moments that we'll remember forever, and were delivered in a timely manner. I keep going back to look through our wedding album because the pictures bring me so much happiness - I could not be happier we went with Julie!I truly cannot recommend Julie Wilhite highly enough as a wedding photographer. Best photographer in the city!
Julie is seriously the most professional and fun photographer I’ve ever worked with. My husband and I felt incredibly comfortable with her, it felt like we were taking pictures with a friend and we were able to be ourselves. Julie has so much experience and it shows in her work. She knows what will make the perfect shot and she captures such genuine emotion in her photos. She is incredibly accommodating and is quick to respond and answer and questions or concerns you may have. I met a woman who works at the Brides of Austin magazine and she told me that Julie is one of the best and most respected wedding photographers in the city! In my opinion, photography is not something to skimp on for your wedding because that is all you have left in the end. And I promise you booking Julie is absolutely worth the money. You won’t be disappointed.Julie is seriously the most professional and fun photographer I’ve ever worked with. The perfect photographer!
Julie was so easy to work with. She was so accommodating to our changing timeline and the chaos of planning a multi event wedding. We had a mixed Indian-American wedding and Julie was able to capture all of our special moments without being given a list. She communicated clearly and connected with us to ensure she understood all the important rituals and traditions so she could capture everything. She read the room and captured all the important people while still focusing on us, the couple. Would highly recommend, she's an absolute treat to work with!!Julie was so easy to work with. We loved working with Julie!
Not only did we love every photo Julie delivered from both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, but we also just loved working with Julie! She is so fun, professional, and kind. Julie is the BEST. She photographed our wedding about a month ago. She was always prompt in communication and made us feel completely at ease - with complicated family dynamics and a large family, she brought a calm confidence, peace, and joy to our day.

Julie photographed our wedding weekend in California (mid-September) and it was so amazing! Better than we could have ever imagined! She helped me and my wife to feel comfortable and authentic even in the midst of wedding chaos! I'm not kidding when I say that ALL of our photos are gorgeous! Everyone looks happy and beautiful. Julie clearly cared about us, made sure we were having a good time, indulged in last minute requests, and was just all around down to earth and wonderful. Photos were one of our top priorities and Julie delivered above and beyond our expectations.
Julie easily navigates family dynamics. My wife and I both have big families with big personalities, and Julie just made everyone feel their best. Also, Julie made us feel very supported and embraced. As a gay couple who's never been to a gay wedding, we didn't really know what photos we wanted and if our circular ceremony where we both walked out at the same time would work out. But Julie helped us to figure out where the best placement for our ceremony would be based on sunlight and time of day, and she helped us feel really confident that our photos would be fantastic with us walking out at the same time - and they were.
Her communication was always on point and she helped us make sure that every photo we wanted was scheduled. Actually, one of my favorite parts of our wedding day was just after the ceremony taking photos with my wife and Julie and her 2nd photographer hanging out with us. We laughed, we cried, the light shining through the trees sparkled on all of us...it's a sweet and magical memory. Lastly, we got our photos back fast and her resources for sending things are on beautiful websites - very easy to share with family and friends. We are so incredibly happy that we had Julie as our photographer for our most special events. We used Julie Wilhite for our wedding in July and to say she is beyond amazing is not enough! Julie was probably one of the biggest- and best- parts of our entire wedding! Our pictures came out absolutely stunning and we are completely in love with them! Beyond Julie's incredible talent though is her super sweet and personable personality. Julie made sure we were completely satisfied with our pictures and her and her team's professionalism was beyond our expectations! If you are looking for an A+ photographer Julie is your lady! Ahhh, Julie. I don't even know where to begin. Photography was our top priority. And let me tell you, we're literally blown away every time we look through our wedding photos (which has been probably at least 472 times now in the last week alone). We love her. So, so much. Not only are her photos phenomenal, but she is the sweetest, most down-to-earth person ever. With both our engagement photos and on our wedding day, Julie just has a way of putting you at ease in front of the camera. She's never flustered and genuinely loves what she does (as evidenced by her amazing talent, and based on our experience interacting with her). It's so important to hire professionals with solid experience (emphasis on "professional"!) on your wedding day, and Julie is definitely that. Professional, sweet, responsive, timely, genuine, talented, passionate about her craft -- all of these things made for an amazing experience with Julie.Ahhh, Julie. I don't even know where to begin. We used Julie for our engagement & wedding photos and were just thrilled with the outcome! The images turned out better than we could have imagined. Julie also did an excellent job of moving through the photos at a good pace (I did not want to spend much of my wedding day on photos). Some of my favorite shots were her live action shots of guests dancing! We did not video tape our wedding, but honestly the pictures do such a great job of capturing the feel of the day that I do now regret this decision.
Oh, and I loved her work so much that I also hired her to do some new professional shots for my website.

Absolutely the most ideal wedding photographer! We had several telephone conversations before my daughter's wedding to get an idea of what Julie does and to discuss what we were looking for. She meshed it all together perfectly! Her images tell the story of the day--they capture the surroundings, the mood, the emotion, the action and the end product is fabulous. Looking back through all the pictures, we could relive all the fun and excitement of the day. Our expectations were high, but Julie went above and beyond and we are grateful for that! I recommend Julie to any bride without any reservation whatsoever.Absolutely the most ideal wedding photographer! During our engagement session, she made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Out of all of our wedding vendors, we spent the most time researching photographers. I pored over websites for weeks, and ultimately we met with three photographers before making a decision. Now a few months post-wedding, I'm (still) extremely happy with our decision to hire Julie.
I was especially concerned with our choice of photographer because I have a mild form of facial paralysis that can result in some very unflattering photos, especially candid ones. I didn't want to hate all of my wedding pictures! I let Julie know my concerns, and she was super understanding and accommodating. She put me at ease in our engagement session and during our wedding portraits, and magically she managed to take the most beautiful photos of me (and my new husband) ever!
All of our communication with Julie was very easy and straightforward, from figuring out our day-of photography timeline to designing both of our photo albums (one from engagement photos and one from the wedding photos). She was extremely timely in delivering our photos and albums, and of course, all of the final products were gorgeous.
Overall, Julie was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole wedding process. Julie is awesome! There are a million wedding photographers in Austin, but the first meeting with Julie, I knew she had to be my wedding photographer! She is fun, puts everyone at ease and knows how to get the best shot. She worked with me on some ideas I had for shots and they turned out great. I would recommend her for every bride who is getting married! Looking through my shots, I could almost feel like I was back reliving the day, which to me is an awesome photographer!
The pictures are so beautiful and could not be happier! A+++
Julie is awesome! There are a million wedding photographers in Austin, but the first meeting with Julie, I knew she had to be my wedding photographer! She is fun, puts everyone at ease and knows how to get the best shot. She worked with me on some ideas I had for shots and they turned out great. I would recommend her for every bride who is getting married! Looking through my shots, I could almost feel like I was back reliving the day, which to me is an awesome photographer!

Julie is the best ever! Not only did she work with our crazy schedules, but her genuineness and thoughtfulness definitely showed through our pictures. She did our engagements photos, bridal portraits, and covered the wedding! She was able to capture sweet moments as well as our fun moments. Julie and her team was great!! She was always so sweet and encouraging every time we saw her and it made us feel comfortable to be ourselves so we could capture the best pictures. She is so much fun and knows how to capture every perfect moment. I would love to have a reason to use Julie again, she was so great to work with!! She even had 3 photographers at the wedding to capture EVERYTHING! I was blown away by how awesome they all were! I would definitely recommend Julie :)Julie and her team was great!! Julie is so fun to work with. she takes time to get to know her clients before the event and is so attentive and captures every great moment on your big day! Her photographs were unique and beautiful. Julie has a great talent and is wonderful to work with. (She helps ease at least one stress on your wedding day). She had no problem traveling to my venue and her assistants are friendly and experienced. I will refer my friends to her for their wedding too!

Julie Wilhite is quite possibly THE best wedding photographer! My Photographer was the most important aspect of my wedding planning (to the point of me interviewing 6 different photographers). Trying to balance on the line of high quality and not spending a complete fortune, I was THRILLED that my friend recommended Julie to me via response of a FaceBook status question! After meeting Julie, I KNEW I HAD to have her. Not only is she incredibly sweet and funny, she has such an artistic gift!
Throughout engagements, bridals and wedding pictures, Julie was phenomenal. I had a digital copy of my images in my mailbox no more than 3 weeks later… in some cases even faster. All of my girlfriends who are already married are incredibly jealous of how AMAZING my pictures are!
