Amazing! Don’t know where to begin!

From the moment we met Julie, we knew we wanted to work with her and have her make our dream ceremony come true. Julie was absolutely amazing! Julie was always readily available with questions, provided exact time lines, walk throughs and even conducted our rehearsal for us. We always felt comfortable and in good hands. The day of the wedding was PERFECTION. Julie’s soft spoken words and the way she pieced together our love story is one that we will never forget. Julie truly is one of a kind and never once did she make us feel like this was just her job; she truly cared. Julie is really something special. My husband and I have the upmost gratitude towards Julie for making our day everything we hoped and more.

Julie is AMAZING! A pure professional, she knows her craft and is confident in her work. Our ceremony was so personal and exactly what we wanted. People laughed and they cried (including us). She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, truly listened to what we wanted and was a calming force on the day of the wedding. I literally have nothing but positive things to say. Julie is the real deal! Six months later and everyone is still talking about how special our ceremony was.

Having Julie officiate our wedding ceremony in Central Park was the best decision we could have made. From the beginning, Julie was very responsive, which was really reassuring as we live in the UK. Despite this, organising things was extremely easy and professional, and no question was ever too much which again was very reassuring! Right up to the morning of the ceremony, communication was great and meant everything was very well organised. Julie arrived in plenty of time at the ceremony location, and worked through the administrative side without making it too much of a fuss. We had written our ceremony ourselves, guided by Julie, which meant everything was just as personalised as we wanted it to be, and reflected our sense of humour which was important! Julie was very supportive of this, and the ceremony was delivered brilliantly, including liaising with our string musicians to ensure correct timinga. All of our guests remarked afterwards how intimate and personal it felt, which is exactly what we wanted - so thank you Julie for helping to create such a memorable day! Incredible value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for your wedding!

we had such an enjoyable experience with Julie as our officiant. From our first meeting to going through things as we got closer to the wedding, she was readily available. She gave us some good ideas on different ways we might want the ceremony to go and they were in tune with what we were thinking about. Overall, we would highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to officiate your wedding. Her professionalism, her courteousness and her warmth definitely made for an enjoyable experience.

When choosing an officiant for your wedding, you’ll find that there are many different options out there, but we were so glad we found Julie. Her professionalism, level of detail and accommodating nature throughout the process was exceptional. She worked with us closely to make the ceremony perfect, heart-felt and personal — from learning our music cues to personalizing her words for the ceremony. Even though she was speaking, our voices came through on our wedding day. We felt incredibly comfortable working with Julie. It takes a great deal to entrust someone with the role of wedding ceremony officiant, and we would definitely choose Julie all over again.

We just got married by Julie this two weeks ago and cannot thank her enough for making our wedding ceremony so wonderful and memorable. Our guests still cannot stop talking about what an amazing job she did! I travelled from the UK to NYC for an intimate destination wedding. Julie wrote a very personal ceremony that all of our guests commented on afterwards. Julie was well prepared and made sure that everyone knew what they were doing on the day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Julie to anyone.

My husband & I are so happy that we found Julie to perform our wedding ceremony. We did not want a religious wedding in any way, and we found it difficult to know where to begin. A friend of a friend led us to Julie, and after one phone call, we knew she was the right officiant for us. We appreciated her thorough questionnaire and the way she incorporated our answers and thoughts about one another into the ceremony. The script she created was extremely personal, and we made few changes. The ceremony felt very "us," which is the best we could have hoped for. Many of our guests remarked on how beautiful the wedding was thanks to Julie!

I am a wedding officiant and Julie was my first choice for my own wedding. At the outset, she provided a helpful timeline of what we needed to do and what we could expect from her. When we had our initial meeting, she elicited the essence of our relationship, our family dynamics and our vision for our ceremony. As a bride, I never stressed for a minute. During the ceremony, my husband and I felt so connected to each other, so intensely transfixed. And our guests were captivated by the ceremony too. Julie is an amazing officient and truly a wonderful person. She is so deeply committed to making the celebration special. She is talented, her writing proves that beyond a doubt, her delivery is personal, and genuine, her caring nature makes her endearing, and her availability to meet and make necessary revisions in the ceremony along with wonderful suggestions (ring warming) cannot be topped.

You can just tell after one meeting (it took us 2 minutes to decide) that she is the one you want to perform your ceremony!

Julie made our wedding vows so personal, a true story about us as a couple. Julie is amazing! Not only is she a dear family friend, but she also created the most beautiful/perfect ceremony. From the moment we met Julie, we knew she was the officiant for us. Warm, friendly, and always professional, she made the process of planning our ceremony fun! Before we met Julie, we had no idea how our scraps of ideas could come together in a way that was meaningful, especially since we wanted a secular ceremony. Great service all round. She really did help make it a special day - She took the time to get to know us a little, by requesting some information before hand. With this, she prepared some word for the day, and these worked perfectly. They were a true reflection of our personalities. She was also very good at putting us at ease as the nerves started to kick in.

I am so glad that I found Julie to officiate for our wedding. She was the officiant of my best friends wedding in which i was a bridesmaid and always knew I wanted her to marry us after seeing my friends beautiful ceremony. Julie is professional, warm and dedicated. Julie was really fantastic. We had some major changes in our wedding and had to make some serious updates in the final 10 week countdown to our wedding. Traveling from Florida, Julie helped us understand and plan our new service in Central Park even though we'd never seen the actual space. She was EXTREMELY quick to respond and very professional throughout the planning process. She encouraged us to edit and make changes to the ceremony until we were absolutely satisfied. The ceremony was beautiful, she wore a stunning red coat and her husband was there to assist as well.

In searching for the right officiant for our small wedding in New York City in July 2013, I spoke with several of the “top” officiants according to reviews on theknot and weddingwire. Because of schedules, Julie was the last call that we had set up. After meeting with another officiant two days before I was scheduled to speak with Julie, I felt that I had found the right person. She was absolutely lovely, we had a great conversation and I left our meeting convinced and excited that I would be booking her. I knew I had one more call set up and didn’t feel right about cancelling so, decided to still talk to Julie.

My fiancé didn’t even sit in on the call and in the back of my mind, I felt that it would be pretty quick. However, as we started talking, I was surprised. The conversation was different than any I had with the other officiants. All other conversations were very pleasant and they all had great ideas for our situation but Julie was standing out way beyond everyone including (gasp) the person I just decided I wanted very much to be our officiant. I never change my mind once I am ‘set’ on something so, I couldn’t believe what was happening. I left the call surprised and after explaining the details of how it went to my fiancé he suggested that she was clearly the right choice.

The next couple of months went perfectly thanks to Julie. Her writing is impeccable and the script for our ceremony was beyond expectations. We decided to create a second marriage certificate that our children could also sign as a memento and to let them feel more involved. I had a lot of ideas for it so I said that I would create it. Of course when I showed up at the church, I had completely forgotten about it and Julie said, “that’s okay, I created one just in case”. Of course, it was perfect just like every other part of what she brought to our wedding. I can’t recommend her enough.

Julie was heartwarming! She was truly professional in helping us to plan and realize this once in a lifetime event. Her husband Joe came along and was a great guest to our ceremony. Our wedding took place in a very personal environment with only family and the closest friends and Julie found her way to fit right in! Besides a good planning she had a great sense to adjust to the situation and feeling during the ceremony. No dry eyes that day! My wife and I truly recommend her services!

I am so happy we found Julie and had her as our officiant. I never had to worry about our ceremony. She is so professional, responsive, trustworthy and flexible. She was always on top of things and gave us helpful logistical tips throughout. Julie is great at understanding your personal style - she put together a wonderful love story, which made our ceremony personal and romantic. Julie was the officiant for our recent Central Park, New York City wedding on August 29th. We first started discussing our wedding ceremony with Julie about a year in advance (because we live in the UK but coming to New York for our wedding). From the first meeting with Julie we knew we had made the right decision in seeking her services, she made us feel at ease from the outset and all of our wishes were taken onboard and guidance & suggestions for our ceremony couldn't have been more spot on. On the wedding day itself Julie was fantastic, made our guests feel not only in attendance but part of the wedding ceremony and many of them commented afterwards that it was the most perfect wedding ever - with the content exactly matching our relationship! We can't thank Julie enough for helping to make our special day so perfect :)

I was absolutely delighted with Julie as my wedding officiant. She managed to craft a beautiful, personalized ceremony script on a short one-month timeline. She is not only warm and pleasant to work with, but also very professional. Julie did such a wonderful job as our officiant. I received numerous compliments on our ceremony, several saying that it was the best ceremony they have ever been to. The thing everyone seemed to love is how she incorporated our "love story" into the ceremony, beginning with how we met and how that led into our love for each other and eventually to being married.

Julie made my wedding ceremony nice and sweet. Every aspect she spoke about was with such genuine and grace.

During the rehearsal, the bridal party felt confident and secure with her guidance. Julie's husband also took part with organizing the bridal party.

My guests and I enjoyed the way she spoke about my love story and other key moments in my life. It truly was a pleasure to work with her.

Julie Laudicina amazed me and my new husband in many ways. She personalized our ceremony in such a way that was 100% "us" and our words for one another. She listened to my thoughts and desires for our ceremony. I have a blended family and she made sure to include all the children in the ceremony which was a #1 priority for us. After the ceremony she gave us a copy of the ceremony, which I'm thrilled about and I still read on a daily basis. I would recommend Julie to anyone that is searching for that "perfect" officiant!

Julie conducted our wedding ceremony on 9/9/12 at the Cop Cot Central park. As we were visiting NY from N Ireland in order to get married, good communication was a key factor when we were choosing an officiant. From day one, Julie was excellent at answering any queries we had. Everything ran really smoothly and she had a schedule planned to allow us to respond to a questionnaire (allowing her to write our ceremony). Julie has conducted loads of ceremonies and we definitely got the impression that she knew what she was doing.

On the day of the wedding, Julie looked smart, was extremely pleasant and kind to everyone and conducted our ceremony without a hitch. Our guests were in tears, She really put emotion into every part and it was so much more personal than 'I take thee to be my lawful husband' which in my opinion is outdated!!

If you need an officiant for your ceremony - be it a small intimate gathering like ours, or a big wedding, I would say don’t hesitate to book Julie - She was fantastic!!

Julie Laudicina was a pleasure to work with. We were originally going to head to City Hall for a quick wedding on a Monday in August, but after thinking about it I decided I wanted something more personal. I found Julie by googling wedding officiants, and I could not have been happier. Julie was nice, knowledgeable and very professional. She sent us a questionnaire by email and asked us to complete it and return it to her. Within a few days she had prepared our wedding ceremony and sent it to us for review. We made changes/suggestions, which she then incorporated into the ceremony. It was honestly that easy. I would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

We instantly warmed to Julie after receiving our first correspondence from her. She has such a friendly and caring nature which really helped put us at ease. During our emails, Julie ensured that we fully understood all aspects of our ceremony as well as ensure that it was everything that we wanted it to be. Julie was great. This was a second marriage for my fiance and I, and we truly could not have been happier with the way things turned out. I did not have to worry about anything. Our fantastic photographer, Brian Friedman, recommended Julie and we were thrilled with the beautiful ceremony she wrote for us! She was extremely professional and helpful and incorporated our personal story, feelings and thoughts expertly into the ceremony. On the day Julie was calm and conducted the whole thing, more or less from memory ... which was very impressive and made it all the more special, as it was delivered with warmth and was very heart felt, not just reading off a piece of paper and going through the motions which we very much appreciated and would recommended Julie 100%!

My partner (now my husband :) ) flew out to New York from Belfast to be married on the 28th of May 2012 and are 1 million percent happy with our decision to have Julie as our wedding officiant. She is wonderful. Her corrrespondence was always warm and helpfuil and always made you feel very reassured (if that makes sense). The ceremony that Julie performed was 'Our Story' and even now when I read it i get very teary. It was beautiful and as our parents were with us she included them in the ceremony and made it very special. It was a pleasure meeting Julie and I only wish that we could have spent more time with her as she is very friend and someone that i would have loved to have shared a Long Island Ice Tea with.. but maybe next time my husband and I are in New York. As a couple from the UK getting married in the USA, we were understandably a little nervous about the in's and out's of planning a wedding from overseas. Julie really set out minds at rest.

Firstly she took the time to meet us (with no obligation) whilst we were in New York on holiday a year before the wedding. We knew straight away that she would be the perfect person to perform our ceremony. She (and her husband, Joe) were warm and friendly but also professional, and offered us plenty of information and ideas.

From then on we emailed back and forth, and she never took more than just a few hours to respond to any queries we had. She made everything very easy for us.

Julie sent us each a questionnaire to fill out, which she then used to create our personalised wedding ceremony. She was more than happy for us to make as many amendments as we wanted (not that we had many!).

On the day, the ceremony went perfectly. Julie had everyone laughing as well as crying!

We really can't recommend Julie highly ernough! She is an absolute star.

My husband and I just got married May 19 2012 and we are so happy we choose Julie for our wedding. She is very professional and pays close attention to detail. She is simply amazing. She has such personality and makes the ceremony intimate. She took what we gave her and made a love story out of it. She asks questions and gets a feel for the couple and what exactly it is they are looking for. She is well spoken and very kind. She makes the ceremony elegant. She helps out with every little detail and is very happy to do it. She has many ideas to make "your" day a unique one. The wording was beautiful and everything turned out perfect! She is warm and makes you feel comfortable. People were thrilled with our ceremony. We loved it!

Julie performed a same sex marriage for me and my partner the day before Easter. I found her through the Celebrant Institute www.celebrantinstitute.org. We live in the UK and it was a 'random' selection but absolutely the perfect match for us. We were first driven by location as the wedding was on Staten Island, my home town where Julie lives but she fit many other criteria. Importantly she was not only 'comfortable' marrying two women but is personally vocal about the right to same sex marriage and incorporated some very wise words about this in our ceremony and honoured the lesbian herstory of the location of the event, The Alice Austen House Museum aliceausten.org. Everything was arranged via email and one long phone call. We had less than 4 months to plan with Julie but her expert preparation, scripting and response to our ideas made the whole process go extremely smoothly. The ceremony had several elements in it including readings and prayers recited by friends and the inclusion of our two sons. It all flowed so well on the page and on the day it was just perfect. We didn't even have a rehearsal! Even though it was the first time we were meeting Julie in person we felt a special connection to her. She has great depth and presence as an officiator and many of our guests were very moved by the service.

It has been just over a month since I was married on March 31st, 2012 and looking back at the entire picture, the most meaningful part of the entire event was standing up at the alter, looking out at all of our loved ones. Julie Laudicina made the entire ceremony feel so special. We are a mixed marriage, my husband is Christian and I am Jewish, so we wanted an officiant to marry us so we could combine our two faiths in a non-denomination ceremony that would touch on both of our backgrounds. Julie was able to help us blend these two faiths in such a wonderful way, so they became part of the ceremony in a unifying way - bringing us together, rather than pointing out our differences. Eric and I live in London but got married in New York City, which could have been potentially difficult to work with Julie in coordinating our ceremony. Julie has a wonderful way of working with her clients, and the process was incredibly easy, and her flexibility left us with no stress before our wedding day. People still comment on how personal our ceremony was, and by the end we felt that Julie tailored a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted - it incorporated the importance of our families, my husband's and my love for one another, and our vows expressed our shared values and ideas of marriage. She made us feel comfortable standing up there in front of almost 200 people, providing a sense of calm and joy, which Julie naturally radiates. The whole event seemed effortless and incredibly special, thanks to Julie's art with words and presence. Thank you, Julie for helping to facilitate the best day of our lives.

My husband and I were blessed to work with Julie when she volunteered her services as part of the Nicotra's Ballroom 10th Anniversary "I Do All Over Again" contest. We had an initial meeting with Julie, after which she sent us thorough questionnaires and used them to design a personal ceremony for us. She was so patient and responsive during the entire process, responding quickly to our edits and tailoring the ceremony to our preferences. The result was a unique and beautiful ceremony that reflected us as a couple. Many of our guests commented on how sweet the ceremony was and what an eloquent speaker Julie is. From the first meeting with Julie we knew she would be the officiant we were looking for. She told us we would see our draft ceremony from first draft to last and be able add/revise/delete whatever we wanted. Her couples questionnaire really helps her learn about the both of you and create the perfect ceremony. Since this is a 2nd marraige, we wanted to include our daughters. Julie gave us ideas on how to include them. Our ceremony was perfect, exactly as we imagined, mix of humor and love. Everyone told us that it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect officiant. Julie really took the time to create a very personal ceremony for us - one that had the perfect balance of seriousness and lighthearted moments. It also felt substantial even though it wasn't a religious ceremony. -Although she will work with you to make whatever it is you are looking for. She was very easy-going about comments/changes, and didn't limit the number of rounds we could go on the script.

Day of, her delivery was perfect. She has a very calming demeanor and was cool as a cucumber. She has a nice pace and great presence. We received so many compliments on our ceremony after. Many of our friends said that it gave them ideas for how they'd like to have theirs someday. I would highly recommend Julie to anyone. She's a real professional and extremely pleasant to work with.

When Matt and I met with Julie a few months before our wedding, we felt so comfortable with her and she went over how the officiating profess works. About 3 months prior to our wedding, Julie sent both of us questionarie that we both filled out about our love story and what we want for our marriage. A month after finishing the questions, Julie sent us a draft of what she would read at the wedding. I cried like a baby. She wrote an amazing wedding script and with a few changes, it was perfect. Julie also helped us put together our wedding program. On the wedding day, Julie met us an hour before the ceremony to give a run down of the ceremony. Once the ceremony started, to finally hear Julie read the ceremony script was amazing. It felt as if Julie really knew Matt and I and our guest were very impressed how she make the whole ceremony personal to us. Julie incorporated parts into our vows that were special to us and was open to hear our suggestions and ideas. Another part of the ceremony people enjoyed was when she included all our guest to answer questions about letting Matt and I into their lives and reminding them of our wedding day. Julie was professional, kept to a timeline/schedule, warm, kind and amazing. Matthew and I highly recommend Julie to anyone who needs an officiant for their wedding. After speaking or meeting once with Julie, she will blow you away with just how amazing and professional is she. Thanks again for being our officiant and if you are looking for an amazing officiant, Julie Laudicina is the best officiant anyone can ask for.

Julie was brilliant. She was so helpful from start to finish. The ceremony which was extremely personal was very well written by Julie, and brought tears to our eyes. We eloped from the UK and so Julie invited friends and family to send greetings which was a really lovely touch. She then sent them a photograph after the ceremony which everybody really apprecaited. I can't praise Julie enough she is great! Highly recommended.

Julie made sure she included us every step of the way, showed us rough drafts of the service and encouraged us to add to it, make corrections.
We gave her just over a week to put together our wedding and she did a fantastic job and more.
My husband & I are buddhist and she incorporated our beliefs into our ceromony.
Since our wedding was so small, she made a wonderful suggestion to tie our wedding rings together and pass them around to our guests, so that they could be included.
We enjoyed her husband Joe as well; you get 2 for the price of 1!

Julie was very open to ideas and offering so unique ideas for a wedding ceremony. Her readings and presentation were off the charts outstanding. Even boasted they had never seen such a nice ceremony and she even had the men crying and saying it was so touching to share in those moments. She is caring and it just pours out in all her work.

We live in the UK and had arranged to meet some New York wedding officiants, Julie being one of them. We met with Julie and her husband Joe. It was a very easy decision to use Julie as our wedding officiant because from the moment we met, Julie put us both completely at ease and we knew that we would be in safe hands! This proved true both on the run up to our wedding and on the day itself.

We were able to create a very personal ceremony and set of vows – Julie’s suggestions and advice combined with our personal input made for the unique ceremony we wanted. Our guests only had positive comments to make and they also said that the words we used spoke volumes about how we felt about each other. Many said it was the nicest ceremony that they had attended.

Julie was very relaxed - this was very reassuring and helped us lose (most!) of our nerves during the ceremony and her directions helped to guide us through the afternoon.

We cannot thank Julie enough for how easy she made every aspect of our ceremony and would recommend, without hesitation, that anyone else use her as their officiant.

Julie was our officiant who married us. Julie is a breath of fresh air. She is really lovely & professional. We got so many compliments from our guests during our ceremony. Julie made our wedding day special. She took our love story & made our ceremony vows based on our love which is unique compared to the original old fashioned church vows. We based our marriage on the reasons why we really love each other & why we want to spend the rest of our lives together. The exact words people told us was that our wedding ceremony was beautiful & who was that lady that married you? She was great. Julie recently performed our wedding ceremony and I can't say enough wonderful things about her!! The ceremony was absolutley beautiful. Julie really took the time to get to know us as a couple - even though we do not live in the NYC area. Based on the information that she requested of us through email and one face to face meeting before our wedding day, she was able to craft a love story that was just perfect!! Our guests raved about how lovely the ceremony was --- people thought that she had known us for years!! i keep hearing people comment on the ceremony above all other things at my wedding. she did a really good job at taking our answers to her questions and putting it into a story that was a perfect representation of me and my husband and keep all of our guests engaged in the ceremony. she was a bit more expensive than the other officients that we interviewed- but it was well worth it.

My partner and I travelled to the US from Australia where we were wed by Julie... Put simply Julie Laudicina was the Celebrant our my dreams and then some!! There was 3500 miles between us and Julie,the Celebrant so everything had to be done via email before we flew out to America.
I found her website at the very beginning of Jan 2009 and thus started a series of conversations. Everything question was promptly dealt wuth and nothing left to chance
Julie's attention to detail and real knack of taking in everything we had spoken about ensured that our Vow renewal was absolutely perfect in every possible way.

Julie did such an amazing job at our wedding ceremony this past October. She is very easygoing and a pleasure to work with. If you want to add a lot of personality into your ceremony, she is a great person to work with. She understood exactly the kind of ceremony that we wanted from the beginning, and achieved that for us. Initially my parents were opposed to a non-church ceremony, but everyone was impressed with Julie's ceremony and they could not imagine the ceremony any other way. Everyone said that it totally suited me and my fiance. And even after reading over (and contributing to) our ceremony "script" numerous times, I still cried during the ceremony! Never thought I would :)

When I began planning my wedding, my mother suggested Julie Laudicina as Julie had performed at a friend's wedding that my mother attended and was very impressed with the ceremony. My fiance and I met with Julie and her husband and liked them immediately. Julie has a way of making you feel very comfortable, as if you have known her for ages.

Julie really took the time to get to know us and wrote an amazing ceremony catered to us, telling our love story. She took care of every detail, queing us throughout the ceremony, making us feel at ease and even dressing in coordinating colors w/my bridal party. Julie's services well exceeded my expectations. Her prices were very reasonable for the quality of service we received. I would recommend Julie to any bride!

Where do I begin... Well as soon as we met Julie we both loved her. She made the entire process of creating our wedding ceremony so simple without missing a single detail. Julie Laudicina was the perfect officiant. She was easy to work with, professional and a perfectionist when it came to ensuring that the ceremony was unique, special and exactly suited to my husband and I. From her very insightful and detailed questionaire that allowed her to understand our personalities and why we wanted to spend our lives together to the draft of the ceremony to ensuring that every name and word was pronounced perfectly and clearly so that all could hear - throughout every step in the procress it was wonderful to work with Julie. While my husband and I thought that our ceremony was amazing all our guests could not stop commenting about how our ceremony was the most beautiful they had ever experienced. We wanted a wedding ceremony that was a love story of us. Julie did that a so much more. The time and effort that julie put into making our ceremony memorable was above and beyond anything we could have dreamed of. When we first read it we laughed and cried and just smiled. It was Perfect! Our guests loved it almost as much as we did. It was very personal and she found a way to incorporate our Yankee theme and our blended family ritual, while still keeping it professional. Julie was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her services.
