  Julie and her staff were amazing! They took all the photos they could (even in the unexpected rain), and made us all look fabulous! She made us feel very comfortable, and we had a blast!
  Prior to the wedding, she was wonderful about communicating about her goals, listening to mine, etc. She was extremely responsive in her emails and phone calls. She really makes you feel important.
  Highly recommended! :)

  Julie is absolutely fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. From my first meeting with her I knew I was dealing with a real professional. Her in-depth questions during our initial interview wowed me with her knowledge and thinking. And her easy-going nature made me comfortable right off the bat.
  
  Both my Fiancée (now husband!) were a little nervous about the Engagement Session. We both tend to be very shy in front of the camera. But Julie was awesome. Her light-hearted manner put us both at ease almost immediately. And her artistic eye found many wonderful, colorful places for pictures (spots we would have no doubt missed without her). The pictures surpassed all of my expectations, and I ended up buying an album just so I could keep a large collection of them on hand.
  
  On the day of our wedding, Julie was right on time with her team. Both her and crew looked and acted professionally, and were extremely understanding and helpful. Julie anticipated where I would arrive, and started snapping pictures from the minute I arrived at the church. She was with me every step of the day, advising me when I had questions or needed input on a decision. She even talked me into doing my first dance when I started to chicken out.
  
  In two days I pick up my wedding album, and I am so excited to see the final product. I have, of course, already poured over all of my pictures a million times. My mom and I cried when looking through the pictures, they were so beautiful. Julie is very, very talented. Her pictures capture not only the little details I had so carefully planned, but also the moments with my loved ones. She was the BEST decision I made when planning the wedding. I highly recommend Julie Cheshire. I know she will be in our lives to capture even more memories in the future!!

  Julie is AWESOME! She is so very talented, professional, experienced and a really nice person! And her prices are so much more affordable compared to the outrageous prices of other equally talented photographers.
  Her specialty is photo journalistic photography and this strength definitely shine through in her wedding work. There are so many of my wedding photos which are beautiful one-of-a-kind works of art that could never be re-created. She knows how to "frame" a shot so that not only are the people in the picture beautiful so is the scenery around them.
  During my wedding both Julie and her 2 assistants were professional and unobtrusive, but also helpful and stepped in a couple of times to make things run smoothly during the course of the evening.
  My only minor negative is the family photos. Since Julie is photo journalistic in her approach there was no "ok smile" or any indication that she was taking a picture during our posed group shots. We just stood there until she lowered the camera and said "ok", and the reaction was "Oh, she's done? Did she take the picture?" It seems that most of our families are accustomed to waiting for that cue because consequently in the series of our posed group photos hardly anyone is smiling but everyone is looking expectedly at the camera as if waiting for the cue to smile.
  However, my "bride and groom after the ceremony" pics are FANTASTIC. Just as I said before, one of a kind works of art. Our happiness and love are just oozing out of the pictures and the scenery and background colors are gorgeous. She snapped the pictures at the very best, exact moments to capture the magic and beauty of the day.
  I am very honored and grateful to have had Julie Cheshire as the photographer for my wedding day!
