Julian - what a personality to be around! He made us feel calm and at ease the whole day. He even surprised us by inviting us to walk around Florence so he can capture different shots of us around some of the city's famous backdrops and locations. We hired Julian because we love how he's able to capture those special candid moments and he certainly did for our wedding. His photographs continue to make us smile; he perfectly captured the love and joy we were surrounded by on that day. And I cant believe how quickly he turned our photos around! Wonderful Experience with Julian Kanz
My husband and I eloped in Italy and we are so glad to have chosen Julian to be apart of our day. Julian was very professional, charming, easy to work with and guided us with ease during our various experiences over the course of the day. Julian provided us with a plethora of photos to keep and allowed us to chose what to be edited after he made the initial edit of his favorites. The photos turned out gorgeous and truly captured all the emotion and expression of the day while making sure to incorporate our lovely venue. We chose Julian because his quality of his work topped his competitors and it really shined through on our wedding photos we will cherish forever. We would highly recommend Julian to any couples tying the knot. -

Julian photographed our wedding and rehearsal dinner in Positano, Italy. His photos are true works of art! Best photographer you can imagine
Julian is really the best photographer you can imagine! From the very first contact until the final wedding day and the postproduction Julian was highly professional but also the kindest guest. It felt like an old friend was joining our special day.
The photos he took were exceeding our already high expectations after reviewing his homepage. Julian has the outstanding talent to keep authentic and passing moments in his photos, bringing back the emotions when watching these.
To ask Julian to be the photographer on our wedding day was the best decision we could have taken!! -

Julian war einfach super
Für uns gab es keinen besseren Fotografen als Julian. Seine lockere und professionelle Art fanden wir sehr angenehm und kam auch bei unseren Gästen sehr gut an. Our wedding took our guests and our photographer to the Italian Dolomites for our winter wedding. Julian Kanz Photography encapsulated the magnificence of winter wedding, the close family and friends atmosphere, love, laughter and tears all in one.
I provided specific guiding items for the photography and Julian was able to accomplish those wishes.
Photos are beautiful to watch and re-watch all over again.

Would strongly recommend to foreigners and Italians alike looking to capture their special day in the most incredible way.
Julian is world-class and fantastic! He is incredibly talented - so much so that even here in the US the first question everyone asked was, Who was your photographer? He's incredible." We had a destination wedding in Sicily, December 2019 and he made everyone feel so at ease. He speaks fluent English, making the destination wedding process just that much easier. He went above and beyond to capture the magic.
And then we saw the pictures, and they were breathtaking. Edited, not edited, he just found all the perfect moments. I couldn't have wished for a better result. Thank you to Julian and Luigi for capturing our special day.Julian Kanz's reply:

When we saw Julian’s photos online, we knew he was the photographer to capture our wedding in Umbria, Italy. His work is so real and alive and deeply human. We knew he was a world class photographer... Then we met him and discovered he’s also a world class human being.
Kindness, compassion, humility, passion, joy, generosity, warmth (and so much fun) These are the deeply human moments Julian will capture of your wedding because these are the qualities of who he is behind the camera as well.
And the PHOTOS... are utter PERFECTION! They were even more beautiful than we could have imagined they would be. We really can’t say enough (clearly haha). If you’re reading this review to decide whether or not to book him... stop reading right now and DO IT. It’s one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. -
