  Julia was amazing!

  I found Julia through a mutual friend and was immediately impressed by her work! Julia was so kind and engaging, we knew she would be a great fit. She was so accommodating during our Covid19 wedding craziness, where we had to postpone our original day to a mini-mony only to have our reception canceled the day before. Julia was so positive and gracious, helping us feel at ease when we were not sure how the day would go.
  
  We just got our photos back and I cannot stop re-living our day! She perfectly captured the beauty and the joy of our ceremony! She did such a wonderful job and went above and beyond with her flexibility and "going with the flow" as things tend to go in 2020. I would highly recommend Julia to anyone who is looking for a talented affordable photographer!

  We hired Julia as our wedding photographer and could not be happier. Julia gave us so many option to choose from and the photos turned out really great, capturing the emotions and atmosphere of the day.

  My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our wedding. It was POURING (literally) rain 10-14-16 for most of our pictures. Julia was a trooper along with her assistant! My family and friends were so impressed with her work, which is art. Many of the photos appeared to almost be sunny and others, which I absolutely love, show the rain. She helped move my and my giant dress (which gained quite a bit of water weight as they day went on); helped convey messages between parties at the property due to lack of cell service; captured some of my most treasured memories of family, friends and reactions to the entire day. Julia was even able to capture a picture of all three dogs behaving at once :) There's nothing bad anyone could ever say about Julia, seriously. She was very patient, never once complained about the weather - even stuffed an umbrella in her coat so she could keep shooting, was always professional, never pushy and my favorite, she's positive! Everyone thought I had lost my marbles when I said I wanted to get married out by the pond under the willow... in the rain. The weather man was spot on with his forecasting (NOT) and it was still raining come ceremony time. It was brought up that we could move inside the barn, but I chose the venue for the tree. Julia came in and told me it would look amazing because everyone was standing with umbrellas. She made me feel like it was OK to do what I really wanted. I was pretty low key about everything, except that one piece and it was nice to be supported. She even complimented me multiple times about my ability to go with the flow. Can't control the weather right? I could keep going on and on, but in short, if you want someone to really capture the feeling of your event, rain or shine :), who is professional, friendly and supportive, Julia is the photographer for you!

  Julia was an EXCEPTIONAL photographer, and did an exceptional job for us recording our event in a way no other could! It was such a pleasure to work with Julia, who at all times fit right into our event from dressing professionally to mingling un-noticed, she was a wonderful personality added. We were so impressed with Julia and her gentle yet strong professionalism as she directed us through our photo shoots with her beautiful creativity. We are very uncomfortable getting our pictures taken, but Julia put us at ease 100% and this reflects in our many absolutely beautiful finished photos. Julia was super flexible at all times and willing the trudge, up hills, through sticker weeds and the hot sun just to get a GREAT photograph of us, for us, putting her comfort aside, which many photographers wouldn't and couldn't do. We greatly appreciated Julia's selflessness to get beautiful photographs. When all you have left of any one day, one moment, is what can be captured by a photograph, I hope you pick Julia to take on that task. Julia's professionalism and caring is above and beyond what's to be expected of a photographer. In this current climate of uneasiness about social matters, Julia is so beyond accommodating and super caring, handling every situation as if it were her own, and I say this because we are two men, who after many years got married and wanted photos to record our feelings not only for one another, but our feelings for all of our friends who are near and dear to our heart, Julia never wavered, she made us feel special, like our wedding and reception was the most important thing to her that day, and it shows brightly in every photograph. Julia not only captured us in a special way, but she has a special talent to have captured our many friends and interactions throughout our event. I would never choose another photographer, and feel so fortunate that Julia photographed our event, The finished product was ample and EXCEPTIONAL!!!

One thing that really stood out to me originally was that she has a degree from an accredited photography school. She has loads of experience and has done lots of work with professional photographers, photographing weddings and other momentous occasions. Julia is friendly, flexible, and listens to your ideas. She has a great eye for photo spots and takes and edits wonderful photos. As part of our wedding package, she created a beautiful wedding album in a timely manner. She also goes above and beyond to provide many quality digital images within a reasonable timeframe. I have been beyond happy with Julia's service and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful photographer.
