They brought the energy!

You know the band is amazing when you see some guests a month after the wedding and they are still talking about how much fun the band made your reception. They brought the energy and had everyone out on the dance floor from start to finish!

Amazing day!

We hired these guys for my wedding in Omaha and they truly knocked it out of the park. I’ve never seen them before, so as the bride, I was I little nervous. Everyone enjoyed them and they played exactly the kinds of music I was looking for! Look no further!!!! They’ll do anything to help make your special day the best it can be!

Perfect Wedding Reception Music!

We had Lost Wax play music for our wedding reception and they were awesome! Chris and his team were great to work with throughout the planning process. They did a great job playing music for our cocktail hour, First Dances, and dancing music with our guests. They had high energy all night that kept the dance floor packed! I would definitely recommend Lost Wax to any other couples planning a wedding or other celebration!

Lost Wax = Best Wedding Ever (no, really!)

Lost Wax completely made our wedding. We had the most amazing time dancing with our friends & family to all of their incredible music. Everyone kept coming up to us during the reception to tell us how awesome the band was, and even after we have been getting texts and messages about how fun our wedding was because of the band. I've literally had a few people tell me it's the best or one of the most fun weddings that they've ever been to because of the dancing and the music. We even have a few couples that we are friends with who want to look into using Lost Wax for their weddings when they start planning!

It was so upbeat the whole time. The energy of the band was awesome despite having woken up early and driven all day long (Kansas City to St. Louis). The dance floor was never empty. There were times that we were out of breath from dancing so much but we just had to rally because the good songs never stopped. The mashups were the best and so unique and fun. We all loved it.

It was seriously better than we could've even imagined and I am so grateful to Lost Wax for driving all the way to St. Louis to play. They took time out of their schedules to drive all the way here, which I'm sure wasn't convenient, and then they had to drive back quickly because of a snowstorm, which I'm sure was exhausting. "Thank you" like isn't enough to express how we feel that they were there for us. We will never forget how fun our wedding was and it's all because of Lost Wax.

A special thank you to Chris, for organizing all of it. He replied to so many emails, coordinated phone conferences, answered tons of questions, and made all of this happen. He is amazing and I am so happy we got to meet him and work with him/the band!

So Amazing!

Ok. This band is seriously amazing. I've never seen such a seamless, high energy performance at this level without paying admission. Lost Wax played my wedding and absolutely killed it. They custom designed a playlist for my needs and not one part of it fell flat. Every member is so personable and accommodating. There is a reason they are the most sought after band in the Kansas City area. I was blown away, the hype is real. They are worth every penny and more. Everyone was asking me who they were. Seriously one of the best decisions I have ever made.

They were our band dreams come true

Ash, with Lost Wax, took our vision and made it into a reality. He worked with the band to surprise us with a mash up for our last song that blew us all out of the water. They worked with my husband's step-father so they all could jam out to a song that he sang for us and let me tell you it was the highlight of everyone's night. Their extensive experience in the Kansas City market gave us piece of mind knowing that they knew exactly what they were doing from the beginning of the process to the final minutes of the band playing. Lost Wax is the reason that every single one of our guests was on the dance floor dancing for the entire reception!

A phenomenal band!

Lost Wax played at our wedding in Vail, CO a few months ago and . We found Lost Wax online, and read many l reviews, and even watched videos they had on YouTube which was very helpful. We contacted Chris to see their availability which they were and discussed pricing. They were very reasonably priced for a 5 piece live band including travel and accommodations. Luckily, we were able to meet Chris in person and discuss a set list, timing and other small details. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great guidance. At our request Chris even included a band member to play a few songs during the ceremony at the top of the mountain for free! During the reception Lost Wax had a very upbeat and party vibe. They did a great job of playing the songs we requested for first dances and played a great set list during the wedding. I would also like to add that Lost Wax played at another wedding the night before our wedding, and the flights to our city were cancelled. Chris and team rented a van and drove through the night to make it to Vail on time. They showed up played an awesome set with high energy and we never knew what had happened until a few days later! Overall I would highly recommend Lost Way because of their experience, ease to work with, and great talent.

The first vendor we booked, we HAD to have Lost Wax for our special day. They are the standout wedding band in KC and we've seen them kill it at many weddings before, including the wedding where we met, so they hold a special place in our hearts! Just as they did on that fateful night, we knew that they would absolutely bring the house down, and they did indeed! Chris was amazing to work with and made sure that our night would be exactly what we wanted! They had nonstop energy and kept our crew dancing until the very end!

Pick Andrew! He was amazing! We even had a blast planning with him. He is so knowledgeable about weddings and was able to see our vision with us. We were on the same page from the start. We left our reception timeline in his hands, and had no worries all night! He kept things moving so that we got through all our special moments without missing a beat. Seriously, when we say the Lost Wax was amazing- we mean it. They had our dance floor packed the entire night. They engaged with the crowd and made sure everyone had a blast! We got married two weeks ago and we are still getting compliments daily on the band. Not only are they incredibly talented and fun, they were the best to work with leading up to the wedding- and night of the reception each band member individually came up to me and my husband, to introduce themselves, say congrats, and get us excited for the night. To end the night they pulled my husband and I up on stage and we closed out with the most fun finale I could have imagined. Thank you guys for helping make our wedding night the best night of our lives (so far!) :)

We hired Jukeboxx Media and Lost Wax to perform our wedding reception and they were nothing short of fantastic. Chris was great at meeting with us to determine direction, following up and following through on additional requests and of course, Lost Wax killed it night of performing. Something my wife and I will never forget. Highly recommend!

Lost Wax made our wedding reception! They had everyone dancing all night long and made it the right amount of interactive (they did a few songs that had people singing back the lyrics and they finished the night with Chris coming down onto the dancefloor and giving us the mic for the last song). People kept commenting that they had never seen a dance floor so consistently hopping (they are still saying this a month later!!)!! Even though there were multiple bars and an open art gallery, people were on the dance floor the whole time, not wanting to miss a song! My fiance and I kept getting sick and were unable to meet with them in person before the wedding to go over our song list and gave it to them the day before. Even though we gave it to them less than 24 hours before the reception, they still played a ton of those songs. They were so accommodating and played our first dance song and the mother/son and father/daughter songs perfectly. My husband and I weren't sure how long we wanted the first dance to be, so we chatted with Chris about the dilemma about an hour before the dance. He was reassuring and gave us a signal to give him that was subtle and allowed them to cut the music when we felt it was time. It was perfect and no one noticed! We already know of a few people who plan to book them after being at our wedding. I seriously cannot say enough - they made our reception so memorable. One of the BEST decisions we made!!!

We used Jukeboxx Media to hire the band Lost Wax to play at our wedding in Tulsa, OK. This was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning because Lost Wax was the most talented, entertaining, and professional wedding band I have ever seen/heard (and I've been to 40+ weddings in the last ten years, so I've seen quite a few). I am extremely picky when it comes to music and I was truly able to let go and trust that Lost Wax would do a fantastic job with not only playing at our wedding, but serving as the emcee during the reception. Lost Wax has a unique style of incorporating mixes within their songs, so it's like a DJ, but SO MUCH BETTER because it's live music! My husband and I received many compliments throughout the evening as well as after our wedding about how fun and talented the band was as they upped the party factor significantly! The lead singer also played a song solo at the end of the night so my husband and I could enjoy a private last dance before exiting our reception. It was so special and one of my favorite moments from the evening. I highly recommend Lost Wax/Jukeboxx Media because they are extremely talented, professional, and FUN!

I used Jukeboxx for their photography, videography and DJ services. This helped alleviate the stress of working with three separate vendors and made for consistent communication between everyone. I was incredibly pleased with all three services. Our photos from Matt are gorgeous. Our video from Tiffany is outstanding and our DJ Andrew was so fun. He kept the crowd on the dance floor and the party going all night.

Having a band was one of my highest priorities when planning our wedding day and signing Lost Wax was by far the best decision we could have ever made. After seeing them play at O'Dowd's, we knew their performance was going to be amazing and the night of our wedding they did not disappoint one bit. I cannot talk enough about their energy level and how much they know how to work a crowd; from the first song to the last, our dance floor was packed and we owe it all to them. Their performance alone deserves 5 stars but it is their professionalism before, during and after that is really what sets them above the rest. Chris was so easy to work with and allowed us to completely customize their schedule to be exactly how we wanted it to be but was also very helpful with his suggestions with what he has seen work best throughout all of his experiences. We had them play acoustic guitar during the pre-ceremony , a jazz set during cocktail hour and then full 7 piece band during the reception. This just goes to show you their versatility and talent with different aspects of the day. One part that we cannot thank them enough for was allowing three of Erica's family members to play our first dance, it made that moment even more special for us. Just another example of how willing Lost Wax is to go the extra mile for their customers. Again, we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day so PERFECT!

We had Lost Wax play at our wedding on 10/08/2016. As they are in high demand (especially during the peak wedding season), they were one of the first vendors we booked; in fact, the day we chose was a result of their availability!

The band's reputation precedes them, and is not exaggerated. First of all, the band was incredibly easy to work with leading up to the wedding. Communication was easy, and they were prompt to reply. They already play such a huge variety of music, but they are also very willing to learn new songs. They were also highly organized and attentive to detail. Since they MC the night (which they did a great job of) as well as perform, they had an excellent plan/script going into the night. With all the stress of wedding planning, they were one of the easiest vendors to work with in preparation for the wedding. They were open to hearing our suggestions and truly tried to help make the night how we envisioned.

Now, for the actual day of the wedding. The trio (piano, cello, flute) we had at the ceremony, which is contracted through Lost Wax, SERIOUSLY blew us away. We asked them to learn a song for the processional and they played it beautifully; as I stood back getting ready to walk down the aisle, I was literally brought to tears just hearing their rendition of the song we'd requested. At the reception, again - we were blown away. Lost Wax was lively, energetic, and just SO talented! Everyone was up on the dance floor and the music was awesome! We didn't stop dancing the entire night, and our guests are still talking about the band.

Their organization, flexibility, talent, and energy are second-to-none. Throughout the entire planning process and the day of, they were very professional. Having Lost Wax at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in the process. We are already planning for the next time we will see them live!

Matthew with Jukeboxx Media has been amazing to work with!! He's so responsive, professional, and just all around fun to work with!! Matthew was our photographer for our engagement photo session as well as our wedding day. He was able to capture the love that my husband and I share, as well as all the fun and laughter throughout the night. I wanted a very laid back and genuine vibe at our wedding, and we were totally able to achieve that! Matthew really was so great all the way through the entire planning process, and helping to even lay out a timeline for the wedding day with us. We also used Jukeboxx Media for their DJ services, and I am so glad that we did! Originally we were thinking about maybe just doing the music ourselves, as our venue was already all wired up with an amazing sound system. In the end, I can't imagine doing it without a DJ. He really kept the night going, and made sure everyone was having a good time! :) I would highly recommend using Jukeboxx Media for your wedding or upcoming event!! :D

Matthew took our engagement photos and he was absolutely wonderful to work with! I do not like getting my pictures taken but Matthew made us feel completely comfortable! We received our engagement photos back within a week!! Matthew and Mickey took our wedding photos and my husband and I could not be happier with the photos we got back! Matthew and Mickey arrived as soon as we were getting ready (around 9am) and did not leave until after midnight so they could get our whole wedding day!! Everyone gave us compliments on how nice our photographers were! They felt like a part of our family and not like they were in our face getting pictures all day! We received our pictures in 2 1/2 weeks which is incredible!! They also gave us all of our pictures on a flash drive which included almost 4,000 pictures that they took! I cannot imagine not having Matthew and Mickey as our wedding photographers! They were absolutely amazing!! I don't write reviews very often but these guys are so great that they definitely deserve some recognition for how awesome they are! My husband and I plan to return to them anytime we get photos taken in the future!!

My husband and I are so glad we invested in videography with Shawn Gormley. Shawn and Clayton, his second shooter, were professional and flexible. Shawn even suggested some cool shots and showed my husband and me some of the clips throughout the day. Both men caught some amazing footage! Our day flew by, and there were moments my husband and I don't even remember. It was a relief to know that Shawn and Clayton would catch all of the things we knew we had missed. We have only seen the highlight film he put together for us, and we are already incredibly happy with the result. His turnaround time is fantastic, and we are looking forward to seeing the ceremony and reception videos in a few days! We highly recommend Shawn!

My daughter and son-in-law decided on Lost Wax for their wedding. From the ceremony piano and vocalist, right through the band for the last dance, it was planned and exactly as we had envisioned. The dance floor was full to overflowing the entire night and all ages from 6 to 77 were entertained and able to join in. They sometimes sounded so much like the original sound of a song you had to look twice-just beautiful.

We used two services from Jukeboxx Media -- band (Lost Wax) and video (Shawn Gormley). Both are incredible and very professional.

The band we've seen at a few friends' weddings and they are always amazing. They do all sorts of music and get people on their feet! Shawn, the videographer, did such a beautiful job capturing our day. He is so nice to work with and made us feel very comfortable along the way.

Both services are a great value and really amazing. Highly recommend.

Lost Wax MADE our wedding reception! It was an absolute blast and they brought so much energy & fun to the party. We have received so many compliments on how great they were & our friends and family danced the entire night! Leading up to the day of the wedding, the group was responsive & helpful with any questions that came up. Chris coordinated with our dance instructor on our first dance and send over a copy of the song so we could practice. Additionally the first dance song was a classic that Lost Wax added some custom changes to to make it a unique version for us - I loved it! The band also coordinated with my maid of honor for a special performance during her toast. Can't recommend this group enough - they are definitely worth it!

Loved the DJ service from Jukeboxx Media. Kevin was fantastic. He did a wonderful job, played great music, and made everything easy. I don't think there was any time when the dance floor wasn't being enjoyed by someone, which is very cool because we had a diverse crowd with very different tastes. He was super professional, very attentive, and such a friendly guy. Also, Amanda helped us come up with our wedding script for music, and found some very particular songs last minute, and had exactly the selection I wanted. Not to mention that she is so delightful, super helpful, and walked me through everything I needed. The price was just right, and the service was outstanding. I can't imagine having had a better, smoother day, and it was in no small part due to their excellence.

We heard about Shawn Gormley and Jukeboxx Media through a family friend and were blown away by the professionalism and talent we experienced. Lost Wax did an amazing job of making our wedding reception the most incredible dance party of our lives. Luckily, we had Shawn Gormley to video the whole thing! Shawn did an absolutely perfect job of capturing the best day of our lives. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer who is down to earth, easy to work with, and has an incredible passion for capturing your story. We were blown away when we received our highlight video by the level of detail and commitment to sharing our story. Hiring a live band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Hiring Lost Wax was an even better decision! They are amazing musicians and performers who have a huge variety of songs and succeed in playing all styles well. Multiple band members sing which gives the songs a different feel, and you can pick which instruments you want in the band for your event. Chris met with us in person as well as responded to my many emails, helping us plan the perfect playlist. They already knew most of the songs we wanted, but they also learned 3 or 4 just for us. This was especially great because my dad and I were able to dance to the song he chose (with a surprise ending) and it was perfect! They learned “Shut Up and Dance” right after it came out as a rather last minute request from us and it was the best song of the night! They played it flawlessly and out of about 150 guests, there were only 4 who weren’t on the dance floor. If you judge a band by how successfully they are able to appeal to a large audience and get everyone out of their seats, I don’t think there’s a better band in Kansas City. They are fun, talented, and professional and will help make your wedding reception something that everyone remembers.

We used Jukeboxx Media for our wedding after receiving a recommendation from our venue coordinator. We were married at Studio Dan Meiners in Kansas City, and everything else was so on point with them that we took their suggestion to hire JM and ran with it. We originally wanted a string trio for more traditional wedding music, and planned to switch to a DJ after the ceremony.

We had a phone consultation with Chris about what kind of music we wanted, and he accommodated us for a late night phone call (despite being a dad with two young kids!) which we really appreciated. My (now) husband and I went over our style of music which was Jazz/R&B and Chris ended up adjusting our day-of trio to a jazz trio, to better fit our music taste.

Chris/JM allowed us to request two...uh... *interesting* choices for our processional/recessional. We said "....how do you feel about Outkast 'Prototype' for the processional and a Talking Heads song for the recessional?" and his response was "Awesome." What a weird request - so grateful for Chris for making our choice a reality.

Day of, the trio was on time and well dressed. The songs turned out BEAUTIFUL and I had chills walking down the aisle to two incredible songs that meant a lot to me and my dude. The rest of their two hour period was Jazz/R&B style and our guests LOVED it. Lots and lots of compliments on having something a little different and really high end for the ceremony/cocktail hour.

We would recommend them again in heartbeat. We spent more on desserts than we did on our trio and we wish we had paid them for longer! Hire them!

Lost Wax made our wedding spectacular! I knew I wanted a band for the occasion, but Lost Wax exceeded my expectations! Chris and Amanda were fantastic and very professional. Eboni, our lead female vocalist, even saved the day during our ceremony when the timing got off during the processional. If it weren't for her quick thinking and professional insight, this bride would have been walking in in silence! They even learned a song that my father wrote for me when I was 16 and performed it during the father/daughter dance. I know that they handed out a LOT of business cards during our reception because everyone wanted to hire them for their next event! Thank you, Lost Wax, for helping us have the night of our lives!!

My daughter and her husband are music aficionados. My knowledge past classical music and early jazz is slim. But when Chris Davis took over, the kids' comfort level on the music front and my comfort level with his professionalism was assured. Every member of the band played as if they were family – with love and passion for and dedication to the music - and to the bride and groom as well. It’s a blessing that the 111-year-old, great oak floors are so strong at the Hobbs Building because that dance floor was smokin’ hot. There wasn't a guest who didn't move... all night long!!
If all that weren’t reason enough to engage a band, I can add that they are such team players that they pitched in and moved the ceremonial huppah from the dance floor inside back to the patio after a rainstorm had forced set-up in the morning. That was way, way, WAY above the call of duty, contract, or expectation! How amazing, how un-repayable, how caring is that? Lost Wax is exemplary of the best of Kansas City talent and spirit.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Shawn and his videography services. He not only captured every beautiful moment of my wedding day but he did it in a very professional way. I received my preview video quickly after my wedding and I have lost count of how many compliments I got about it. Shawn is also a wonderful person to get to know and he works hard to put together a video that not only highlights your wedding but also fits your personality. I am a huge Star Wars nerd and he somehow found a classy way to incorporate that into my video while still capturing all the love and sentimentality of the day. There are a lot of things to worry about on your wedding day and Shawn was one of the most consistent and reliable vendors I had that day. His prices are also very reasonable considering the impressively high quality of his work. Aside from all of that, Shawn is simply a great guy and his kindness is a welcome vibe to have on the wedding day. I highly recommend Shawn to anyone considering having a wedding video. Trust me, it is well worth the money and I am overjoyed that I have this amazing memory to share with my children years from now.

I spoke with Chris Davis about the kind of musician I was looking for to play during my ceremony and reception. He selected John Goolsby from his pool of talent and we met with him prior to our event. We both left our meeting knowing that we had found the perfect person to play for our wedding. Due to circumstances beyond his control, John was delayed in getting to our wedding. Should we have been worried or stressed? For sure! But, this is where we discovered exactly how great a company we had hired. Chris Davis and his team swept in and provided a wonderful, last minute replacement to make sure we still had a beautiful ceremony. Then, much to our pleasure, John arrived in time for the reception and began to play. His talent was a true highlight of the reception. I can't tell you how many times I looked to my new husband and commented on the music or how many people commented on what a wonderful talented musician we had playing. I would highly recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed...truly.

Booking Lost Wax was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. They were absolutely fantastic and made our reception! We went to see them right after we got engaged and were blown away at the energy and breadth of songs they played; they did not disappoint on our wedding night. They took a handful of songs and brought them to life in the best possible way and catered to ALL ages throughout the evening. Our dance floor was always packed and had so much energy. Chris and the band were so great to work with the entire time. We asked them to learn to play “Shut up and Dance” only a few weeks before the wedding and they KILLED it – it was absolutely perfect. In addition to that, my husband worked with them to plan a surprise where he sang “Some Kind of Wonderful” with the band! If I had to do it all over again, I would no doubt choose Lost Wax. After the wedding, many people told us and my parents how much fun the band was, so I know our guests loved them too. If you’re looking for a band for your wedding – stop looking and book Lost Wax. Jukeboxx was amazing to work with on our wedding day! They provided DJ services for our wedding event, and the night was perfect. Jukeboxx set the perfect tone for the evening and made the whole night customized to our wishes. Not only did they play music, but they kept the night going by announcing the wedding party, announcing the first dances, cutting of the cakes and introducing important speakers. The professionalism and quality of the services that they provided were more than I could have expected when I gave them the initial call to get detail. WOW, Hands down. Made. My. Reception. I am so so so happy we chose Lost Wax. About 9 months out from my wedding Lost Wax wanted us to come see them perform, we saw them randomly at a bar, it was great. We booked them the next day. Over the 9 months I put together songs I wanted and they accommodated these all throughout the evening. It was so great having the pianist at the ceremony (you get their musicians all day). During dinner there was 1 guy playing the guitar and singing, it was amazing. For our first dance they played the song, just shortened, exactly what I wanted because we were both so nervous! My father and I's dance was so fun. I cannot say how amazing Lost Wax was and how people were saying I had hosted the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Thank you Lost Wax!!!! I already know you will have future bookings from people that had attended my wedding!!

Chris Davis is a brides dream! He is so calm, organized, and professional! He will do anything to make your day your dream come true. I put full faith in him and he went beyond what I expected!

I used three separate Jukeboxx Media vendors and they were all phenomenal! People were so happy, and the whole staff was happy and fluid.

I can't say enough about Ashton Martin and the music he played. He kept everyone on the dance floor, read the crowd, kept everyone happy! Our guest are still raving about our excellent DJ!

Shawn Gormley Films, our videographer did an amazing job! I never knew how important this was going to be to me! Find the room in your budget for videography, especially with Shawn, you won't regret it! He did a beautiful job!

I would highly recommend the whole Jukeboxx team, they work so well together and you know that all those little details discussed with them are noted and done. Chris is an amazing person to work with- someone I could not have done without!

Wow - I cannot say enough good things about Jukeboxx Media and their services. We used their band - Lost Wax - for our wedding ceremony and reception and they were amazing. The band kept everyone on the dance floor for hours and even passed over breaks to keep the rowdy crowd moving. They also provided ceremony appropriate music for us at the church, and we received many compliments over how lovely everything was. We are continually hearing that we had the BEST wedding cover band ever, and we definitely agree. Chris and the band were incredibly flexible to work with and they learned some additional songs we requested for the night as well as mingling in some of the songs from their set list. They changed from one song to the next seamlessly and I only wish we had another huge party to have them at! They also have videography services and we cannot wait to see what Shawn creates from all the footage. They are a great group of people and we are thrilled to have worked with them.

I used Jukeboxx Media for both my band and videographer and I couldn't be happier with my decision to use them. Chris Davis is a true professional. He is so incredibly organized. Weddings are his thing and he knows his stuff. From introductions to first dances and speeches to announcing dinner etc etc. he is on top of it- It's like having a second wedding planner there with you. Not to mention, all his bands are incredible! People were dancing from start to finish.

I was also SO happy with my videographer, Shawn. He stayed out of the way, never ruined a moment by being there and yet still managed to capture EVERYTHING perfectly. Having a video was a last minute decision for me and it was the BEST decision. I highly highly suggest using Jukeboxx media for your wedding needs!

These guys (and gal) are the best wedding band I've ever experienced. We saw them for the first time at a bar in Kansas City. Then they played at a friend's wedding a few months later. At both events no one left the dance floor until they stopped playing. So naturally we had to have them play our wedding. And they delivered! The dance floor was packed with young and old guests from start to finish. They do a great job of mixing older/classics with newer songs so that guests of all ages want to dance. At times in the night, the singers came off the stage and were dancing on the floor with the guests and they even let a few people do some guest vocals. It was a blast.
The best part: I didn't have to give them a list of songs or do much work at all. You tell them the types of guests you'll have, any songs you don't want them to play, and they do the rest.
If you want a band that will ensure a good time at your party or reception, I strongly suggest you hire Lost Wax!

I can`t say enough positive things about this group, from start to finish they were better than advertised, even the Garth Brooks cover song!!!. They brought an energy to our wedding reception that provided for a full dance floor all night, from young to old. Lost Wax is incredible! We had attended a Halloween party before we got engaged where Lost Wax performed and knew from that evening on that we wanted them to perform at our wedding. They kept our guests dancing all night! They were even super accommodating to special requests, as one our flower girls begged to sing a song on stage at our reception. It has almost been a month since our wedding, and our guests are still talking about how great they were.

LOVE this band. These guys are a fantastic live band. If you haven't seen them, check them out ASAP. We knew we wanted to throw a party, not just an event, and they made it happen. We had a specific must-play list of a few songs, but left the rest to them. Everyone was on the floor dancing until nearly 2am at our reception. They also handled all the emcee dutiees. We couldn't be happier.

Lost Wax also set my mother-in-law up with jazz musicians for the welcome party for our guests which were equally amazing.

We had our wedding on a Sunday night so we really wanted a great band to make our guests forget about work on Monday and Lost Wax did not disappoint! They are very interactive and even let our guests sing in the mic and rock out on stage to "Journey" which made for great pictures! They play any kind of music you want them to and they make it so its appealing to all generations. They also have very fun personalities that make the grand entrance lots of fun and the flow of the night go very smoothly. I would highly recommend them and look forward to going to more of their shows in the future!

I had a pretty laid-back approach to wedding planning — which was great until we were 4 weeks out from the wedding and without a DJ!

Luckily, I was put in touch with Chris Davis with Jukeboxx Media, who instantly calmed my nerves about the last-minute planning. Within one week, we scheduled a sit-down meeting to review the event specifics (likes, dislikes, special requests, etc).

Mickey Miller was our DJ and he did a fantastic job. He has a great personality, was energetic and fun! He listened to our requests and did everything just as we had hoped!

Going through JukeBoxx Media to book your band is a MUST!! My husband and I knew one of our wedding splurges would be for a band (vs DJ), and we are SO GLAD we did. Chris is so professional but laid back and makes you feel really comfortable. He takes the time to meet with you, figure out your style and what you want and then puts together a custom band for you using all of his music contacts in the KC area. He helped us create the perfect set list and made sure everyone was on the same page regarding the agenda and order of events for the reception. He didn't nickel and dime us either - you pay a flat fee, and should you discover you have some additional needs, he will make sure you're taken care of. His philosophy is to create the best time of your life and eliminating any stress in the process.

Our guests can't stop talking about how much they loved the band! Lost Wax performed at my wedding and they were unbelievable! I cannot tell you how many people called/emailed/texted me after the wedding to find out who that band was b/c they were SO impressed. I literally do not think that I left the dance floor all night. The members of the band were incredible and they created the most fun atmosphere for the entire crowd. It was the most amazing night! If anyone is looking for a band that will get people dancing and having the time of their lives then you have to get in touch with Chris! Jukeboxx Media is actually a service that will help put together a custom live band, but in our case we found a band that we really liked so they helped us book and work with the entire band. My husband and I loved that Jukeboxx helped us pick a band, pick every song, and work so closely with Jukeboxx and the band. We went to several live shows before choosing the band that was right for us. Chris and Aaron were extremely flexible (especially considering how many times we changed our minds) and also great to work with. We split the entertainment between two hours of DJ and three hours of a live band. After the wedding, everyone told us how great the band did, and how much they loved the DJ. They also set up an incredible lighting scheme that really made our reception look great.

Andrew was a fantastic DJ for our wedding. He took our song list of ideas and put together a fantastic evening of music, which was exactly what we wanted without us having to give him an exact list for the night. This band includes several members and after our initial meeting of discussing the genre of music we wanted to hear at our reception, a 5 member band was formed based on our wants and needs. They were absolutely amazing and we received the majority of our positive feedback on our wedding day over the band. Chris was professional and responsive and easy to work with! We used Mickey Miller for our wedding photographer. We instantly clicked with his personality and felt comfortable with him. The price for the service was incredible. He and his assistant Matt were at our venue at noon and stayed until midnight. Guests commented on how great he was throughout the day. He worked with all the vendors to ensure we were on schedule. We will have access to all images and are able to save and print as we choose. Waiting 4-6 weeks from wedding date to get the photos.

We used Jukeboxx for both our videography and DJ. I haven't seen the video yet, but thought that Shawn was very easy to work with the day of and really didn't make any of us feel uncomfortable despite being on camera! Matt Schissler was the DJ that Jukeboxx set us up with and I can't tell you how great he was! All the guests were asking where we had found him and they kept raving about the playlist he made and the fact that he got out on the dance floor with us! I had warned him that our crowd wasn't a 'dancing crowd' but by the end of the night he had managed to turn it into a dance party-which speaks volumes to his talent as a DJ! Thank you so so much to Jukeboxx, and especially to DJ Jay, for setting up and executing such a stellar reception and dance party! From the moment we set foot into the reception venue Jay had command and control of making the setting feel alive and welcoming to us and all of our guests. Even when we were having trouble bouncing sound around the unique floorplate of the historic Firestone Building basement, Jay was on the job and made quick and painless adjustments to make the sound work beautifully for toasts and announcements. And the dance party! What a fun time! Jay kept the music coming and read the room perfectly! There was only one song that bombed and it was one that I SPECIFICALLY requested! I want to start this by saying that we loved our DJ, Mickey! He was great to work with and really engaged the crowd. Very funny. However, we were not exactly happy with our day of services. Mickey did not arrive on time. He sent someone else in his place. I'm still not exactly sure what happened. Either way, our music was played correctly for the ceremony. Mickey told us that he would be recording the ceremony and parts of the reception with a new camera they had so it would be free of charge. Since Mickey wasn't there, that didn't happen. And the recording that took place during the reception was not viable, I was told, so we don't have any of that either. It was pretty disappointing to find that out after the fact. We would have had someone record the ceremony if we knew that Mickey wasn't going to be there. The reception was a blast. We enjoyed everything else.

For my wedding, we utilized live musicians for the ceremony and a DJ for the reception. This made everything so simple! Everyone was great - on-time, professional, and sounded great!
