Can't go wrong with Juke Box Bandstand!

Our experience with Juke Box Bandstand for our wedding was excellent! From the lively music that kept everyone on the dance floor to the seamless coordination of our favorite songs, every aspect was flawless and far beyond our dreams. Austin played our requested songs but also took guests' song requests, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

Austin’s responsiveness to our inquiries and requests was top-notch, ensuring that every detail was attended to without any stress on our end. Additionally, having a diverse music selection was a major highlight, catering to guests of all ages and preferences.

Overall, we highly recommend Juke Box Bandstand for any special occasion, especially weddings, as their professionalism and dedication to creating a memorable atmosphere truly shined through. Fantastic Experience with Austin and Jukebox Bandstand

Jukebox Bandstand and Austin were absolutely phenomenal for our wedding day. They handled all audio from start to finish including ceremony audio and music, cocktail hour music, and all reception audio and music. Everything was perfect and Austin was fantastic at running everything. We cannot recommend them enough as a wedding DJ!

Wedding Experience

Todd from Juke Box Bandstand did an amazing job at our wedding! He had our dance floor packed for 4 hours straight. We got lots of compliments about how impressive the dance party was during our reception!

We really appreciated the extra time Todd took ahead of time to make sure he got to know us and understand what we were looking for at our wedding. He gave us a personalized experience that was perfect for us. Thank you Todd!

Jukebox and Todd Rocked the House

Juke Box Bandstand, and especially the DJ, Todd absolutely nailed everything from the ceremony to the reception. Jukebox has a great process of choosing songs you want to hear and ensuring you have everything covered from the cake cutting to the first dance to the last song. We received so many compliments on the DJ and party atmosphere, and he played the perfect set of songs to really keep the party going. Overall one of the best vendors we booked.

Todd was awesome!

Our guests had a great time! They make music selections easy and not stressful! They were even able to change our entrance song last minute due to wedding party request! Todd was great and really hyped up the party!

Superb - Threw a great party

We were lucky enough to have Marc but the entire Juke Box team we dealt with was fantastic. They made it really easy to guide them with our taste in music but threw a great party with mixing up our selections and kept the dance floor moving all night!

Jukebox was AMAZING. So respectful, entertaining and accommodating. They were very helpful with my timeline and had great suggestions. Leading up to the day I knew I made the right choice. The day of, they did our ceremony and reception, two different djs but both amazing. I didn't want to do a dollar dance and my DJ suggested doing a 50/50 raffle! Everyone loved it!! At the end of the night I could have paid extra to keep him going. I asked if he thought it would be worth it and he was so honest with me saying, "I knew how to read guests and I think your guests are about done dancing, they want to drink. I'll definitely stay if you want me to by all means but in my opinion you'll be wasting your money" I appreciated it so much!!

We had an absolutely FANTASTIC experience with Juke Box Bandstand. They were professional, accessible, friendly & accommodating throughout the planning process & on the big day. The office manager, Marti was delightful to work with, and our DJ (Austin) was the hit of the reception. The dance floor was full all night and we couldn't be happier with how the reception went. Austin helped significantly to make the evening flow nicely from dinner to dancing, and we got SO many compliments on the DJ/music. I couldn't be happier with Juke Box! They were one of our most accommodating vendors! Martie, the main contact person for booking and questions, was so kind and patient with me (even when I didn't get her a few music selections by the time I should have!).

I can't say enough good things about Austin, our DJ. He was funny and attentive from the beginning and made me feel so relaxed. There were multiple times I asked him about questions or advice throughout the night and he was always on top of things (making sure my friend was recognized for her hard work, getting people to watch my first dance, etc). *Most importantly, the dance floor was FULL from the moment the reception started until the lights came on at the end of the night. It was everything I wanted and tons of people told me that they'd never seen so many people dance for so long at a wedding. (And my husband loved the uplighting!)

Jukebox Bandstand was the absolute best to work with. Our DJ, Todd was so funny, helpful and kept the party going. Jukebox was responsive and helped answer all our questions. Todd worked through our timeline with us and kept the night on track. Marti gave us some suggestions for music when we were a little stuck for entrance songs. The website Jukebox uses to plan out your reception was very helpful and let you work through it at your own pace. We could not have been happier with our choice, Todd kept our dance floor full at all times and really tuned in to what we wanted to hear. Thank you!!

My DJ was Sava from Jukebox Bandstand, and he was so awesome. Sava set everything up, used my phone to play our entrance fanfare, kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I even went up to make sure he got his dinner, because I never saw him leave his DJ table.

Todd was amazing!! We were so pleased with him as our DJ. Everyone had such a blast- especially us!! He played all of the songs we requested and more. He was extremely professional, outgoing and kept the energy up the entire time. Jukebox Bandstand is great to work with and always very responsive during the whole planning process. Highly recommend!

Jukebox Bandstand is amazing! They were so responsive and accommodating. They did music for our ceremony, cocktails, dinner and reception. We wanted specific songs played during dinner and cocktails that had special meaning to my husband and me, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Sean did such a fantastic job during the reception. I've received multiple compliments on the music – the dance floor was full all night. They were such a pleasure to work with. I recommend them 100%!

Juke Box Bandstand was amazing to work with. They responded promptly to emails, answered all questions I had, and clearly explained options for our wedding day. Our DJ, Sean, was very professional and really helped with transitions during our reception. He also was so friendly and funny! He was receptive to ideas and suggestions during the reception and was able to go with the flow. He made our maid of honor and best man feel comfortable before giving their speeches. He was awesome during dinner/speeches/cake/introductions. NOW THE MUSIC was awesome! We has 225 guest and no one left the dance floor the entire night! He played the perfect songs the entire night. Every age group was included and was dancing too. At the end of the night our one area we wished we could have changed was having a bigger dance floor because it was so packed! We received so many compliments on our DJ after our wedding too. Sean was very friendly and included all our guests. He listened to our wants and made everything we wanted happen. Sean was the perfect combination of outgoing/talking, but not over the top or cheesy what so ever. Our DJ, Sean, made our reception absolutely perfect! Overall, Juke Box Bandstand and Sean exceeded all my expectations. I can't imagine a better DJ than ours. I would recommend Juke Box Bandstand to anyone.

Jukebox Bandstand was great. They were easy to book and their online forms made it very simple to provide them with all the necessary info and song selections. We didn't find out our specific DJ's name until the week of and didn't meet him until the wedding itself bu Sava was fantastic! He made sure all of the info he had was correct, and was extremely helpful. Most importantly, our guests danced all night to music we requested and no music we didn't want. Thanks!

Juke Box Bandstand made the process very easy. Guests off all ages were out on the Dance Floor Dancing and everyone had a great time! The DJ was very flexible with timelines and accommodated all requests.

Working with Juke Box Bandstand was very easy and everything went according to plan. During the booking phase they were quick to answer our emails and set up a phone consultation so we could ask all of our questions. Once you book, there's an extensive online form that outlines all of the steps of the reception (speeches, cake cutting, first dance etc), lets you select your music preferences, and select your must-hear songs. The day of the wedding they were all set up by the time we arrived and everything went just as selected in the form. Would definitely recommend!

Working with Jukebox Bandstand was a breeze! We had a fantastic DJ (David Boyd) who kept our guests on the dance floor all night. He did a great job reading the crowd and introducing the various parts of the reception and dancing. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved working with Jukebox Bandstand! Their administrator was so warm and friendly during email and phone conversations, and our DJ was amazing! My main concern for the reception was that I really wanted people to be out dancing, and the dance floor was NEVER empty. The DJ played the right songs at the right times and everyone had a blast!

Todd from Juke Box Bandstand made our wedding ceremony and reception absolutely perfect! When we had a last minute crisis with our picture slideshow just minutes before dinner (which was my fault for not testing it prior and had nothing to do with the DJ or his equipment), Todd rallied a team of people to helps us get it up and running later in the evening and kept everything else for the reception on schedule - AMAZING!!

A few weeks before the big day, Todd took time to chat with us about the various music and timeline options for our occasion and even made a special cut of music just for our entrance to the reception, which was exactly how we had imagined it!!

Thank you Todd and Juke Box Bandstand for helping our day go off without a hitch!! We could not be more appreciative of the service we received and we will recommend you in a heartbeat!

Juke Box Bandstand was easy to work with. You fill out your song list (first dance, father/daughter dance, must play, do not play) online and they are happy to talk to you about any questions or special plans. The DJ we had was fantastic - he was incredibly professional and friendly. Kept the dance floor full all night.

Juke Box Bandstand did such a fantastic job at our wedding! From the very start, Marty was so helpful sharing advice on picking ceremony music and wedding songs. Their website had a very helpful form to organize the order of reception. Todd was our DJ and was AMAZING! Everyone has been talking about how great our DJ was for weeks after our wedding. DJs are so important with events, as they essentially run the show, and ours did such a wonderful job! Todd and Juke Box Bandstand were a key factor in making our reception amazing and unforgettable!

I highly recommend Jukebox Bandstand for both ceremony music and reception music. Austin and Martie run the sales and administrative side of the business and are wonderful. They are fun, knowledgeable and always quick to respond to any question or concern. I hired the LFQ String Quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour and they played beautifully, all the guests thought they were lovely. They have a huge list of songs to choose from and even put together an arrangement for me of a song that was not on their extensive list. Sean was our DJ and I cannot say enough great things about him, he did a tremendous job and absolutely made our wedding reception! I had not met Sean prior to our wedding but we ran into him on our way into cocktail hour. We told him a little about ourselves and I let him know that I was usually the girl sitting by the bar while others danced. He had me on the dance floor the whole night!! To get me on the dance floor, he did a no dollar, dollar dance- all the guys get in a circle around me and each take a turn dancing with me for a minute or so. It was wonderful!!! Not only was it fun but it gave me an opportunity to dance with people I likely wouldn't have danced with otherwise and it made it really special for me. I cannot say Thank You enough to Sean for the amazing evening he created for us!

We had Sean as our DJ and loved him! He's super friendly and fun to work with. He checked in with us to coordinate everything and make sure things were going smoothly/staying on track. He played the few songs we requested (in advance through their online form) and then felt out the crowd/took requests. Everyone was on the dance floor all night so he must have been doing a good job!

Our ceremony music went smoothly as well- no complaints!

I can't tell you enough good things about Juke Box Bandstand! We had them DJ our wedding in April 2015 and they did such a good job. Austin made the planning process so easy. He was super organized and responsive.

Marc was our DJ for the reception. We specifically requested him after seeing how good he was at another wedding. And he did not disappoint! His energy kept the night rolling and when the dance floor got too empty, he'd come out and dance with us!

If you're looking for a great DJ in the Madison area, I highly recommend Juke Box and Marc.

We loved the interaction he had with the guests. I didn't want a certain artist played and I was able to tell them that. I later found out someone went and requested said artist and he was very professional. She then offered him $200 and he again was very professional about it and didn't play it but wasn't rude to my guest. He was very fun to talk to, told us about the 50/50 drawing instead of the dollar dance and I think the bridal and groomsman had a blast doing it. All in all they did a great job and I would highly recommend them to whoever is looking. Couldn't have asked for more. Well worth the money

Our DJ was Todd, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was in communication with me (the bride) and my guests as needed, which really helped keep our pace and assure that people were where they needed to be. He also made sure the pace and volume of the music was appropriate. He was responsive to the requests of guests, related to timing, volume, songs, etc. Truly excellent, we got so many compliments on the DJ and the music! He checked in with me prior to the wedding to be sure he had everyone's names right and everything, he truly cared about getting this right, which I really appreciated. We are incredibly pleased with the performance of Juke Box Bandstand and the performance of Todd.

Mardie was our coordinator before the big day. They are so good at what they do, we talked 2 weeks before our wedding day and again a quick check in a few days before. We emailed a detailed list of any activities that we wanted and she passed them along to Terry. Terry was fantastic and ready to got he minute we walked in. He had clearly read everything that we had sent and knew exactly what we had planned. He was willing to let us have a much control as we wanted, meeting with us right after our grand entrance and asking what we wanted but we gave the reins over to him and let him just "feel the night". Everyone had a great time and he kept the music playing.

I am so pleased with our experience with Juke Box Bandstand. They were very easy to work with and reminded me when I had things due to them such as song lists. They made sure we had fun the night of our wedding and lots of memories.

We loved working with JukeBox Bandstand for our wedding. From the moment we met with Austin, we knew we were in good hands. He was very attentive as to what we wanted and assured us we were going to get it. He was very responsive to emails and questions.
Martie was AMAZING as well. She worked with us up until our DJ took over the details. We had requested a certain song for our First Dance that JukeBox Bandstand didn't carry. She went above and beyond to get the exact copy we wanted played.
I truly believe that a DJ can make or break your entertainment on your wedding day. We worked with Todd Alderman, and he was amazing! We gave him a list of some songs we wanted played, along with some we didn't and he executed his playlist perfectly. There are many weddings we attend that people are just not out on the dance floor, and we definitely didn't want that on our special day! He took the energy from our guests on the dance floor and ran with it. Our dance floor was completely full from the time dancing started until midnight when we had to leave. I would definitely recommend Todd as a DJ for your wedding. He was awesome!

Jukebox Bandstand was great. I filled out their form, and the DJ knew exactly what I and my guests were like. He was happy to take requests and was awesome during the grand entrance, dollar dance, and bouquet toss. He didn't talk too much but was interactive during the right times. I was very happy!

Juke Box Bandstand was great to work with. They were very accommodating during the contract processes and had great online tools to setup your wedding song playlist.

Our DJ David was great! He met us when we arrived to make sure we didn't need anything and we had guests dancing all night long. Our wedding was so fun and the DJ definitely made it so that our guests continued to enjoy themselves.

Our wedding reception was one of the biggest dance parties we've ever seen. Austin knew exactly which songs to play so that our guests stayed on the dance floor for the entire night. He was so much fun to work with and very personable and professional. He acted as the perfect emcee for the evening, and everything ran smoothly throughout the night--he was extra careful in making sure that he pronounced all names of our wedding party and families correctly.

We had such an awesome time at our reception and it would not have been such a blast without Juke Box Bandstand! Our guests are still telling us how much fun they had and about how awesome they thought our DJ was.

We used Jukebox Bandstand for both our ceremony set up at Olbrich Botanical Gardens and for music & uplighting for our reception at The Holiday Inn at the American Center. We could not be happier with the service we got from Jukebox Bandstand.
We initially met with Austin in their office to discuss how they typically work and set up for everything. We also liked that we were able to spread out our payments over the course of the year leading up to our wedding. Everything was clearly laid out and very well organized.
Our ceremony music was chosen by me and I gave them a CD and list of our music and it was handled perfectly. The ceremony microphones were set up very well and no one had any problems hearing us or our officiant. The music was set up perfectly for each part of the ceremony.
At the reception, Todd was our DJ and did a fantastic job! We hardly left the dance floor all night! We had so much fun! He was great at communicating with us when needed to make sure we were happy with how things were going. We loved the selection of music and nothing was played that we didn't enjoy. He also did a great job for our grand entrance timing our song selections to just the right part of the song without us even thinking to have mentioned it.
The uplighting at the reception was also a perfect touch, we wanted purple uplighting in the ballroom and the whole room effect was just perfect. Everything was set up and handled completely professionally and I would absolutely recommend Jukebox Bandstand.

We had two different DJs from Jukebox bandstand provide services for our ceremony and wedding reception. To be honest, I was a little concerned about how the ceremony portion was going to go as I hadn't really heard of having a DJ provide music at our ceremony outside on a golf course. I couldn't be happier with how our entire evening went. It was absolutely perfect and the process of getting everything set up and paid for couldn't have been easier either. I would highly highly recommend using JukeBox Bandstand for any celebration need, especially a wedding!

We could not be happier with the service we received from Austin and his assistant. The dance floor was packed all night and many guests complimented us on our choice in DJ. They kept the night moving along smoothly, kept everyone entertained, and took requests from our guests while playing the songs we also requested. We had a really great experience with Jukebox bandstand. During the planning process they were very easy to work with and easy to get a hold of for any of our questions. The day of the wedding our DJ was great and we were very happy with the services. We also had rented some uplighting and it really added to ambiance of the room. We could not have been happier with Jukebox Bandstand. They were so easy to work with, from the first meeting on. Being able to do most of it online was life-saving, especially in the few weeks leading up to the wedding. We had a winter wedding, and due the weather, had to make a few changes that night with first dances and what not. Austin, our DJ, handled it all so smoothly. He was also great with our guests and taking requests. I very highly recommend them!

Juke Box Bandstand was the perfect choice for my reception. Music was a very important part of my wedding and my husband and I wanted to make sure that we found a DJ who was professional and fun without being cheesy. Todd at Jukebox was the perfect fit for us! He played almost every song we sent to him prior to the wedding and he checked in with us several times during the reception to ask if there was a particular song we wanted played. Juke Box Bandstand did a phenomenal Job at our wedding. We were so pleased with the staff and the service we received with this company. Martie was so accommodating and was very prompt with answering questions. The string quartet was so beautiful for our ceremony and the audio was flawless too. Very flexible, and we were able to modify things as we went during the night. These guys are definitely wedding pros. They were awesome to work with, had a really great easy to use form that ensured that every detail was taken care of. From the grand march list, dinner music to the "no chicken dance" requests, these guys were on top of it all. They kept our guests dancing the night away and the little "extras" that they offered were fantastic. They even planned the Cupid Shuffle twice for me (the bride) because I couldn't make it out on the dance floor for one of them.
Now that it's been almost a year since our wedding, looking back I appreciate them even more. I've gone to a bunch of weddings since then where the DJ isn't very good and the guests just don't dance. It honestly makes the reception feel so dead.
A good DJ can make a party, and hiring these guys will gurantee that your reception will be a party that none of your friends and family will ever forget!

We utilized Juke Box for our daughter's wedding and they were fantastic. Great to work with and did a wonderful job. They played what we asked them too and if someone requested a song that the bride and groom did not want. It wasn't played. They were the best and our guests danced until the end of the night.
They are a must have for your event. Our event was held at the Overture Center.

They did a great job of providing a mix of music that involved all the guests. Through dinner, the music was at a great level that allowed for conversation but provided some background. After dinner, there was a great mix that kept people on the dance floor and having fun. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and said what a good job the DJ did. We would definitely recommend them!

My wife Jen and I recently got married in Wisconsin. Todd from Juke Box Bandstand was our DJ. He was fantastic. Initially Jen and I completed the online form and populated the 'must play' and 'banned play' lists with songs that we enjoyed. Todd then met with us prior to the wedding and gave us some additional thoughts regarding the type of music he felt we would enjoy. He was spot on. The dancefloor was packed all night (which was our goal). And we never heard YMCA or anything from the 'banned list'.

Todd also made the background music during dinner enjoyable. He was not the 'over the top MC' that stole the show. He moved the wedding through each step as needed and played good music the rest of the time. He checked in on occassion to make sure we were both satisfied. He even played a couple extra songs at the end of the night to make sure we heard each of the songs we wanted to hear.

We would definitely recommend Todd to anyone seeking a good DJ!

My wife Katie and I were recently married and worked with Todd at Juke Box Bandstand. We filled out the order with Marty to set up the payments and the type of music we wanted and she told us she would get us a DJ that fit with our needs. She selected Todd.

Todd was a great DJ and we could not have had a better DJ for our special night. Katie and I wanted a laidback DJ that was not like a gameshow host but someone that could still keep the dancefloor filled. That was Todd. Katie requested a certain type of music -- older jazz -- to be played during dinner. Todd researched the history of jazz before first meeting with us and had several options to play during dinner. We were very pleased.

In addition, he checked in with us throughout the night to make sure that everything was up to par. The dancefloor was filled for hours. He even played a little extra for us because no one wanted to leave! Our friends have been talking all week about how good the DJ was at our wedding. We are definitely suggesting Todd to anyone who needs a DJ between Madison and Chicago.

Rick was our DJ and he was amazing!! He was great and pretty much just went with the flow of things. We know that Juke Box Bandstand was good but they really made our wedding special. We had a list of songs to play but our guest wanted to here certain songs so we just asked him that if anyone requests anything to just play it even if it was not on our play list. He also made the dollar dance a lot of fun and the garter toss. We owe our reception to him he made it the best party that we have ever had. Prior to the wedding the service was incredible! The DJ coordinator provided more personal attention to me than anyone else and the website forms to fill out really personalized my wedding. The night of my reception the DJ was perfect...he followed all of our instructions including how to interact with our crowd. They found all my specific songs and played each at the perfect time.

We also used the same vendor to find a string quartet. They were a great value for the money (cheapest we could find) and learned a song for us perfectly just two weeks before the wedding.

Juke Box was recommended to us way back in fall of 2013 by the wedding coordinator at our venue, the Madison Masonic Center. We had a meeting with Austin and were so impressed, we hired them immediately.

We hired Juke Box to do both the ceremony music and the reception music, as well as the uplighting for our reception space. We were able to split up our payments over the course of a year and a half so that was really nice. They have a reception agenda form on their website that made it really easy for us to inform them of all the details for the reception: introduction song, speeches, songs for the first dance, genre ratings, do-not-play songs, etc. There's also a song request list where you can pick up to 30 songs you want to hear.

I was in contact with a wonderful lady named Martie in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was very thorough and helpful. I sent her all of our song choices for the ceremony and she assured me that the person doing the music for our ceremony would be on point with everything. I was definitely a little nervous that there was no run-through, but on the day of the wedding, Tom Schultz nailed everything. I had nothing to be nervous about!

Todd was our DJ for the reception and he really took all of our requests seriously. For example, we had a whole list of songs we wanted played during dinner (instead of the usual Frank Sinatra stuff), and that's what he did! Also, the dance music was great! I didn't know my family and friends danced but boy did they get out there and have a great time! Todd was really personable and I got numerous compliments about how great our DJ was.

Also, the uplighting really tied our reception space together. It looked beautiful!

Overall, I have nothing negative to say at all. I would highly recommend Juke Box for all of your music needs!

James did a good job at our wedding. We had a small wedding, but he still managed to keep the dance floor packed the entire night. He was very professional and his personality was great – he was able to get involved without being obnoxious or creepy, like some DJs I’ve seen before.

One disappointment, however, was that we had created a 2 hour playlist for our reception (through their website) and he didn’t really follow it. After spending a few hours debating over the songs on our playlist, it was a little disappointing. Also, we decided to do a ‘longest married dance’ instead of a bouquet toss and he wasn’t too good at giving instructions (there were a lot of people who were confused and didn’t dance). However, he was great with requests (people were asking for songs all night), and never played any of the songs on our 'Do Not Play' list, so it all worked out in the end.

James was absolutely wonderful at reading the crowd and adjusting accordingly. At one point, he played the parody song “Teach Me How to Bucky,” which I’m guessing normally is a huge hit at weddings in downtown Madison. But since we had a small wedding with 100% of our guests being from out of town, everyone stopped dancing and looked over at him confused. He reacted perfectly – he rolled with it and seamlessly switched the song without it being awkward. I was very impressed. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Jukebox Bandstand for their great service and professionalism! We were dancing all night!

Juke Box Bandstand, and our DJ Todd were fantastic from start to finish. The online form for song selections was easy and nice for those people who need help picking out songs! Todd was professional, fun, but most importantly went with the flow of the event and crowd. We had trouble with our slideshow working and Todd stepped in and found our songs and played them through his system. We had a great reception, thanks in large part to Todd and Jukebox Bandstand.

Actually the best DJ ever

Todd was our DJ and he was amazing! He kept our guests dancing all night long. We met with him about a week before to go over all the details. We felt like we were in good hands after that. On the day of he checked in with us and the coordinator frequently to make sure we were having a good time and all was going as planned. He came up with ideas throughout the night that we never would have thought of. We ended the night with bohemian rhapsody (his idea) and it was perfect.

Great music and very professional

You don't have to worry about a thing with Jukebox Bandstand! The music was perfect, and he kept the night on track. Can't say enough good things about our DJ!

Juke Box Bandstand was a great company to work with. I loved the DJ form that I filled out ahead of time, so that the DJ knew just what music we wanted played when. Our DJ was a hit too- literally EVERYONE was out on the dance floor the whole night! It was a great time. I highly recommend Juke Box Bandstand!

They did a very nice job for our daughters wedding. We were very pleased with their service. We especially liked how they took charge of the wedding party to ensure the entrace and grand march was organized and they made it and all the special dances an event. Thank you.

Andy did a great job, played all the songs and music we asked him to do. There wasn't a single time when the dance floor was empty and he kept it going all night long. Awesome vendor and would recommend them.

We had a great time at our reception thanks to great music! Juke Box wasn't the cheapest in our area, but it was definitely the best value. They were easy to deal with, we met them, went over the contract and they were always available for questions. We knew exactly what to expect the day of our wedding. They handled requests, and played the music we requested. They had a large variety of music that pleased everyone.

We hired Juke Box Bandstand to provide a sound system for our outdoor ceremony, and a DJ. Everything went smoothly. One thing to note - dinner was in a different room than the dancing, and the DJ provided a microphone for speeches. He couldn't provide music, though. We loaded a dinner playlist onto an iPod and started it, then he paused it for speeches, etc. I was surprised they couldn't do a dinner playlist on an iPod, but apparently they've had problems with theft, so they don't do that. He played a great mix of songs, though, and respected our requests (no bouquet toss, garter, etc). Great service!

Todd was the man. He helped with audio problems we had with our slide show which he had no responsibility for but helped us out anyway. We left it up to him and he delivered. He played the songs my wife and I wanted and then crushed it with the crowd. Well worth the money. Awesome, get Todd if you can.

Great DJ!!

Juke Box did my sisters wedding so I hired them for mine. I was a little stressed during the planning process because not a lot of the songs we wanted were offered. We were able to create a playlist and provide links to song we wanted about a week before the wedding so all in all it worked out and we got the music we wanted played. I do wish they had a more comprehensive list for you to choose from but do understand how they come about offering the songs they do. Our DJ was awesome! He covered all the details with us a few days before and took requests the night off. I was very happy with how the reception turned out.

We had Todd DJ our reception, and the LFQ String Quartet (hired through JBB) perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour. The guests were all raving about the quartet and the dance floor was packed non-stop until we had to kick everyone out at midnight. There is nothing I'd change about either of their performances. Todd was professional and coordinated all of the major events - and was flexible when we needed to change things at the last minute.

We hired Jukebox Bandstand for our wedding reception and our DJ, David, was excellent. He emailed me about a week before our wedding to introduce himself and confirm any last minute details, and at the reception he was very professional. Our only complaint was that our wedding coordinator informed us another one of her couples got the same contract from Jukebox Bandstand for less money. I wish they would keep their prices consistent for all couples, especially since they were pricier than other DJs in the Madison area.

DJ did a very nice job, although they sent us a different DJ than we had worked with throughout the planning process, which was kind of a bummer. Good value for the price and aimed to please throughout.

Juke Box Bandstand was great to work with! Sean was a great DJ-our music kept the dance floor full all night. A perfect mix of music. He was very flexible when we want to do something a little interesting for our introductions-my husband and I surprised everyone by riding in on his tractor-the intro was perfect-I can't wait to see the video! My husband also really liked the uplighting we had done and was happy we had added that to our package.

We picked out Jukebox after being at one of the many bridal shows and weren't disappointed.

We were able to tell them exact songs we wanted and when in the night and also gave them the flexibility to play a variety of music. They also were very flexible when we switched a few things around in the night.

Also the DJ we had was interactive with the crowd so it didn't just seem like a person playing music in the background.

A little pricey and hard to get ahold of prior to a few weeks before the wedding, but once we were assigned a DJ they were very professional and did a great job at the wedding. They changed the music as needed so more people danced and took requests.

Good experience

Good DJ, pleasant, and easy to work with. On time and we had no problems. Reason for 3 stars is that we requested mostly top 40's and 2000's, and had to make specific song requests to ensure that hard rock stopped getting mixed in. Also, had an issue with part of our schedule being forgotten, but it was an honest mistake and not a big deal.

Our DJ was great. Very friendly and responsive. But, he did take waay too many requests from guests and was unable to sense that the crowd wasn't happy going from a fast song to a slow song, and back and forth again. He also played "Loyal" by Chris Brown as our getaway song which wasn't cool. I would recommend JukeBox Bandstand, but not the DJ we had. I think it was Terry.

Before the wedding, I was very happy with their service. They always responded to my questions and concerns promptly, and were very helpful. Their pricing was decent, and they gave a discount for our Friday night wedding.

I was not, however, impressed with our actual DJ. My husband is from South America and we wanted a lot of Latin music played at the reception, so we mailed the DJ several CDs of songs weeks before the wedding. The night of the wedding, he showed up with a sealed envelope containing our CDs and told us he hadn't opened it yet. The rest of the night was fine, except that I had requested that the DJ not be too crowd-interactive (I hate when weddings have more DJ talking/stupid party games than actual music), and he seemed to take it personally.

We strive to be sure every client is happy with Juke Box Bandstand from the initial contact to the last dance. In your situation it seems we did not deliver 100% at the actual dance. Your DJ, Andy, was experiencing some personal adjustments in his life which ultimately necessitated our separation with him. While this does not make up for your experince with him, we do hope that ultimately we did everything otherwise correctly and still created many fond memories from your reception!

Make sure you request a specific DJ that you KNOW and have SEEN in action! We went in on recommendations, but without a specific name. Turned out, that was important, apparently. We got the WORST DJ I have ever experienced. The music was great, although I had asked for more big band music. We'd asked for moderate involvement, and we could barely get him to announce something we had JUST told him to announce! I assume he had the plan for the reception with the schedule, and yet, he stood up there like he wasn't supposed to say anything. We asked him to announce that food was available during the cocktail hour, told him exactly what we wanted him to say, and the resulting eventual announcement was nothing like what we'd told him to say, nor very understandable. Right after the bride and groom cut the cake, he was supposed to announce that dinner was served, and there was an awkward silence as the bride and groom eventually decided to walk over to the buffet line to give people a clue. When some of us started to yell out that dinner was served, then he made an announcement, though it was the wrong one, informing people that they should stay seated until their table was called. Again, we had told him specifically what to say, and that was NOT it. We barely heard a word from him the rest of the time he was there. Our very shy best man felt forced to take over. He now swears he will NEVER be a best man again! Despite HATING public speaking, he did the toasts, found people who wanted to make a toast, and handled the microphone. Juke Box Bandstand gets three stars because the music was great and the sound quality was very good, and the pre-show service was excellent, but it was like we had no DJ at all at the actual reception, just a recorded sound track.

I hired the string quartet, LFQ, through Juke Box Bandstand for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. My guests all thought they were great. I felt that I didn't get what I paid for.

My husband and I spent hours going through their repertoire, listening to quartet versions of the songs on YouTube and carefully selecting what we wanted to hear. We provided the list to the contact person, but our selections were completely ignored. In fact, they didn't even play the song (Air on the G String, pretty standard fare) I had chosen for my bridal party to walk down the aisle to. I don't even know the song they actually played. Every time I hear A on the G String, I'm brought back to that moment and I am annoyed. They played the theme to Super Mario Brothers during my cocktail hour. Cute? Kind of. Not on my list though, and not what I wanted to hear. The played a lot of classical musical. (Also not on my list.) I wanted to hear Stairway to Heaven and Dave Matthews Band, which is why I spent so much money on a string quartet instead of hiring a group of college students.

Additionally, after the ceremony they were to go to the reception location and being playing there. When I walked into my cocktail hour, their instruments were sitting by their chairs, but they were not to be seen. I said something to my dad and he mentioned he saw one down at the hotel internet cafe on the computer. What?! Seriously?! My father went down and got him. His response? "Oh, we didn't know we were supposed to play as people were entering."

Like I said, my guests loved the quartet, but they didn't pay for something they didn't get. If I could go back, I would save $900 and hire the college students.

extremely disappointed!

I asked for an outgoing DJ. I asked for specific music to be played. I did not get either. Hardly any of the music I asked for was played. I got a DJ that did nothing but sit behind the music and say nothing. He was friendly when approached (for the most part) but not at all what I asked for. The office however was very friendly. I spent $1200 and would have done better with a spotify list and my son doing the DJ part of this. It was a total waste of money. I was very disappointed.

It is with regret from all of us that Tammy was less than totally happy with our program. We asked continuously up to two days prior to her wedding day for a submitted request list. While we encourage this from each client, it was even more so important for Tammy’s dance as she wanted Christian music played. With this not necessarily being a familiar mainstream genre, we requested her guidance as to which selections to play and when to play them. Realizing how busy she most likely was with all the planning of a wedding, she was unable to get us this list. With these selections, the DJ could have been better prepared. In either event, we are very sorry for Tammy’s displeasure.
