Best dj team!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Judah Press Entertainment team. They were by far one of my favorite vendors that helped make our wedding day PERFECT! From the first day that I inquired about their DJ services, I knew that Jesse and his team were going to be so much fun! We had DJ Sam for our wedding in October 2021 and he was AMAZING. Our guests are still raving about how much fun our wedding was, and that's due to DJ Sam keeping the dance floor going throughout the entire night. We cannot recommend Judah Press Entertainment enough!!!

Judah press is incredible

Judah Press was AWESOME to work with! Sam Morris was our DJ and was extremely professional and very on top of everything. He communicated thoroughly and was easy to reach. He helped the atmosphere be exactly as I envisioned it would be! I would recommend JPE to anyone!

Guaranteed Good Time!

Making a big investment in a DJ for your wedding may seem a little scary. After all, anyone can just play some songs, right? But let me tell you, Jesse and Judah Press Entertainment were worth every penny! From setting the perfect vibe during cocktail hour and dinner, to being on point and fun as the MC for the evening, Jesse handled all the little details you don’t think about as much from a DJ. But of course, where Judah Press Entertainment really shined was during the reception. Jesse absolutely knows how to orchestrate a good time, and our wedding transformed into a total party. The song selections always hit the right notes, he kept the energy at the appropriate levels all night, and even hit the dance floor himself to join in on the fun.

We are so thankful we trusted Jesse and Judah Press Entertainment with our special day. They were total pros throughout the entire process and helped create for us a day that we’ll never forget.

We love DJ Sam!!

My husband and I used Judah Press for our wedding and absolutely LOVED working with them, especially DJ Sam! They are so passionate about what they do and work hard to make your event sound great!! I can’t even count how many people said “this DJ is amazing” at our wedding—DJ Sam definitely made our reception the party we wanted it to be! They are so willing and easy to work with, I just can’t say enough good things about Judah Press!!

Book this DJ!!

Judah Press was the company we used to DJ our wedding and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I absolutely could not have been more pleased with their professionalism, organization and communication. They did all of the sound/microphones for the musicians and our officiant and it went off without a hitch. At the reception, our DJ knew what he was doing and was able to read the room well and make it to where people wanted to get up and dance. Loved it!

Jesse was fantastic

Jesse was a fantastic DJ for my daughter's wedding! He was very professional and respectful and followed the couple's desired run of show and key songs that they wanted. The music was great and everyone was dancing all night, even us older folks! He is a super nice guy as well. The bride and groom were extremely happy. Judah is also very clean, nothing obnoxious or trashy. I couldn't recommend Judah enough.

Best DJ hands down!

Our DJ was Sam and let me tell y'all he was FANTASTIC! With our wedding being 8/22/20, my husband and I faced some planning roadblocks, but in the end, DJ Sam handled everything perfectly. The guests RAVED about the playlist he created! Sam helped our whole wedding go smoothly and when it came time to dancing, he got everyone hyped! I mean even people that we didn't think would be dancing on the dance floor were dancing! Not only did they provide excellent service, but they were so thoughtful from beginning to end. We're so thankful for our DJ and would definitely recommend Judah Press!!!

Best DJ for Weddings

Judah Press Entertainment is an AMAZING wedding vendor!!!! We had DJ Sam and he was so helpful, kind, and accommodating with our safety concerns. Having a wedding during COVID can be challenging, but Sam helped us with ease and kept the atmosphere alive to make sure our guests were having a great time dancing but still feeling safe. I had a few personal details like playing a home video during my Father/Daughter dance and wanting my new husband to rap a Hamilton song, and Sam took our ideas and executed those so well. We felt so taken care of and will forever remember that day because of Sam.

Best decision I ever made!

Highly recommend!

Everything I Wanted and More

When I was planning my wedding, I knew I wanted a party for our reception. I LOVE to dance so it was so important to me that we had a great DJ who would create a great environment for that. DJ Sam made that happen! We still have people telling us it was the best wedding they have been to and several of my friends plan on booking them for their weddings.

We loved working with Jesse and he did a fantastic job DJ-ing our wedding! Jesse and Judah Press were absolutely phenomenal in helping us with our wedding reception! Not only were they completely committed to giving us exactly what we were looking for as far as musical selection (We loved getting to form our own playlist of favorite dance songs along with a list of our favorite bands and songs that are meaningful to us) but they also helped with much more than your average DJ stuff. Jesse helped us form a timeline of the entire event, not just the portions he was a part of, and created a plan for the overall flow of the event with a pretty tricky venue space to make sense of. He even coordinated our sparkler send off and jumped into action at the first sign of a couple rain drops! We couldn't have been happier with how everything worked out and that's due in no small part to Judah Press! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I can not say enough good things about Jesse and his team. He most certainly had it going on! From the first time we talked until after the wedding he was amazing. He knew everything that was going on and made the evening an enjoyable one for me. I have no doubt that without him the wedding could have been a disaster. He knew exactly what to do. I would recommend him to anyone. He was so much fun. He got out there on the dance floor with us and kept the party going. From the first call with their team, you know that they are dedicated to making your event special and fit your personal needs/desires. Every couple and event is different, so JPE works with you to set the mood for the event and keep it flowing the whole time. The JPE team has a special touch and methodology to guide its customers through the process of selecting music and setting the tone for your event.

For us, we were planning a wedding in Athens while living in NYC. The JPE team made communication a breeze with regular Face-time/Skype calls and prompt email responses. While its always easy to find good music for your run or a long drive, we found deciding music for a wedding much more difficult especially for the first dance, transition songs, etc. The JPE team was there to provide recommendations and other ideas so that we could curate the perfect event.

During the event, the JPE team was there early and stayed late. Not only were they focused on the main show (the reception), they were also lending a hand to the rest of the wedding team to make sure our ceremony was smooth by providing microphones and transitioning music during the entire event.

The JPE team have the experience to make your event a success. For us, there was always a special song playing, which inevitably made the night end way too quick. It was a pleasure having them assist us with our wedding, and I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future for other entertainment needs.

Having been to at least 50 weddings, all over the country...I can honestly say Judah Press throws the best party and hosts the best events. My husband and I chose them for our wedding after seeing them work their magic at ALL of our friends' weddings. They are so good that everyone we know who sees them wants to hire them for their own. We felt cared for from the first meeting to way into marriage. They are organized, caring, and more than accommodating. They even flew to Texas for us! From the ceremony to the reception, our guests were ushered by excellent hosts with clear direction, then the dance party hit and everyone went wild into the most killer dance party. Crowd surfing even happened...that's just how good they are. Judah Press has the best selection of music with awesome remixes. We wouldn't hire or recommend anyone else!

From our first meeting with Judah Press we expereinced a level of service and encouragement far beyond what you would expect from a wedding DJ. They covered everything from advice on song choices to amazing recommendations for other vendors. Judah Press was a no brainer when my husband and I were planning our wedding. We had been to weddings where Jesse and his crew had been the DJs and we knew what an awesome dance party they could throw.

Jesse was our immediate contact for all things music. It was such a fun process getting our playlists together. Jesse was so excited for us as we were entering our new chapter of life and we knew, because of this, he would make sure our party was the best.

He did not dissapoint! We danced and danced and danced some more at our wedding. Jesse was an amazing MC. And he made sure I ate my dinner. Which is very important! My husband and I have been married for 3 years and people still talk about our celebration.

You cannot go wrong choosing Judah Press for your event!

Alright couples, let's be real most of us have gone and will go to a million weddings and half the time they are wonderful but not that "fun". WHY?! Because, a DJ is SOOOOO important, not only do they play music, but they bring the energy of the entire evening of the most important night of your life! Judah Press Entertainment was an absolute Godsend. I myself, love to party and wanted to make sure that EVERYONE at my wedding, from the 4 year olds to the 80 year olds would want to dance; and believe me they did! I had the majority of my guests make a point to tell me what a great and fun wedding it was, some even said the best reception they had ever been to. I am not exaggerating! HIRE JUDAH PRESS. Sam was our DJ and he was so helpful, and nailed our "vibe" right on the head. I wish I could relive the night over again!

DJ Drew was so awesome to work with for our wedding! He was professional, organized, and really helped ease our mind with his expertise during all of the planning. Judah Press Entertainment is the best DJ service we could have asked for at our wedding. Drew was an amazing DJ, but he was more that just that because he worked with my coordinator to make sure the entire reception went smoothly and exactly how we planned, or if we didn't plan for something, he was right there to keep things running smoothly. We truly could not have asked for a better DJ for both our ceremony and reception. This company made the entire process from choosing music before our wedding to the end of the night as simply and stress free as it can be when planning a wedding. Judah Press Entertainment was absolutely wonderful! Our wedding was in July in the North Georgia Mountains, and Judah Press Entertainment went above and beyond to serve us well. Something I really loved about Judah Press Entertainment is Jesse took the time to get to know how story personally so that he could provide the best DJ service for us at our wedding. He really broke things down, and asked specific questions (things we wouldn't have thought about) so that his role went as smoothly as possible. Something else I really loved was how joyful Jesse was at our wedding, and it was so evident he loves what he does. Once Jesse arrived at our venue he had everything he needed and made sure his role was fulfilled in excellence which made our day so much less stressful. Everything was above and beyond, from our first dance song, introduction of the bridal party, and the unforgettable dance party we had on the dance floor. Our wedding was a traditional Lao wedding, blended with an American reception. This day included a parade, a ceremony, and traditions- that 95% of the guests, including the groom, were unaccustomed to. Despite this, our big day went down perfectly and everyone had a great time! Jesse's charm, professionalism, and energy was first class all the way! We had a couple of unplanned changes, but Jesse was quick on his toes and so very accommodating. The changes happened unnoticed and seamlessly.
Working with Jesse was a breeze. Communication was easy, quick, and on point. Prior to the wedding Jesse would periodically check in (even while on a flight to HIS honeymoon) and make sure everything was on track. Talk about customer service!
He is respectful, listens to you and your guests, and makes everyone happy. He was able to control a room, in a very assertive but pleasant way, and orchestrated everyone beautifully.
Jesse was one of my larger expenses- and honestly, there were times during the planning process when I would question myself if I budgeted wisely... and the answer is: Absolutely.
His services are priceless. He's more than just a DJ playing music. I can't imagine a better, or more genuine and talented guy than, Jesse, to MC your wedding.
It's been over a year since our big day and people still tell me our wedding was the funnest wedding they've ever been to. Thank you, Jesse.

Jesse was fantastic!! He has such a professional demeanor and provided the perfect mix of fun but also class. He had great suggestions for us as a couple to keep the night flowing (for example: when we should start going around to say hi to guests, when and how we should start the dancing, etc). We gave him a general direction for the music and then let him work his magic choosing the songs. It worked out perfectly.

We were originally going to try to go without a DJ, and I am so glad we didn't. Judah Press is definitely worth every penny. I cannot imagine how our wedding would have been without Jesse. I would recommend Judah Press Entertainment to anyone in a heartbeat!

Jesse with Judah Press Entertainment gave my husband and me some really solid advice when looking for a DJ. He said, keep in mind the person you hire as your DJ serves as the official voice/host of the biggest, most expensive party you'll probably ever throw. Awesome advice and honestly the selling point for bringing Jesse on as our DJ. From the moment we met him we knew he had to be there on our big day-- he immediately felt like a friend and put our wedding planning jitters at ease. Not only does he throw an AMAZING party with the most perfect soundtrack for our day but it was the best feeling to know he had our back if anything were to go wrong or haywire during the day. He was a seriously helpful part of the planning process-- it felt like having a trusted friend there as a safety net which is an invaluable feeling as a bride! So much more than 'just a DJ!' Jesse was phenomenal to work with throughout the entire process - he is a true pro at what he does and is a genuinely awesome and enjoyable person to be around! We were so thankful we had the opportunity to work with Jesse and have him be a part of our wedding. He played such a large role in our day: he handled both our ceremony and our reception flawlessly. He not only played great music and provided such a fun atmosphere, he was truly able to 'read' the crowd and he guided us through our whole day; there was never a moment of "umm what are we supposed to do now?" He timed everything flawlessly even with last minute changes-introduced our bridal party, welcome speech, bridal party speeches, announcements for cake, toast, garter, etc. We even got so busy & chaotic in the weeks leading up to the wedding that we literally forgot to send our music selections to him - until the night before our wedding and he was TOTALLY accommodating! He didn't seem phased or bothered by it at all, everything he did was so seamless and he was even kind enough to reassure us multiple times not to feel terrible for forgetting to send in our music and was kind enough to meet with us in person in Atlanta before our wedding and guided us through everything, answering any and all questions we had. We are so happy we had Jesse for our big day, he truly is a pro at what he does and was hands down one of the best decisions, if not THE best decision we made for our wedding day. Initially, I wanted a live band although my groom did not... I thought a DJ would just be someone with an ipod, but I was so wrong and so lucky to have found Judah Press Ent. They were far more involved with our day than I thought DJ's would be, but knowing now just how essential a good emcee is at your wedding I would have painfully regretted having just a band. He knows how to read a crowd and when/how to react to people and situations accordingly. Amazing guy & amazing service!!

In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, both Jesse and Drew went out of their way to get to know us both better so that they could help make our special day exactly what we wanted. We were able help plan out the entire reception with him prior to the day and map out how we wanted it all to flow! This made the day so much easier and enjoyable when it got there! My husband and I had Judah Press Entertainment DJ our wedding in Athens and we couldn't have picked a better DJ Service!! We worked directly with Jesse and he took so much care in making sure that the dance floor stayed packed with clean music and never played any songs on our "do no play" list. We barely had to provide guidance, he completely gets it and is such a fun DJ to have! I didn't realize we'd make a lifelong friend out of it, the care this company takes in keeping in touch with their clients even after the fact is unheard of. I would choose them all over again. Brides: planning a wedding is stressful, keeping up with vendors is stressful, do yourself a favor- go with Judah Press Entertainment and I promise you won't be disappointed and you won't have to worry about another thing, they completely understand how to be a great DJ and let you have one less thing to stress over. We cannot recommend Jesse & Judah Press Entertainment highly enough!! When my husband and I envisioned our wedding reception we knew we wanted an awesome dance party, so the DJ decision was really important to us. Jesse met with us before the wedding, got a feel for what we wanted, and worked with us to create a schedule for the reception. Once we kicked off the dancing, there was never any room on the dance floor! Even my dad was out there, and that was literally the only time I've ever seen him dancing before. Jesse read the crowd with skill, played a great variety of music, and it was all clean. In addition to that, my event coordinator went home sick midway through our reception, but I didn't even know until after our honeymoon because Jesse kept the whole evening running smoothly! Several of our guests have asked us about our DJ, as well as people who were not even at our wedding but heard the reception was awesome! Throughout the whole process Jesse maintained the highest professionalism and exceeded our expectations. If you don't book this DJ, you will regret it! Judah Press Entertainment is the greatest group of guys we have ever encountered. They provided all of the sound equipment for our ceremony and reception (and didn't have to tear down in between), ran sound for our outdoor wedding reception, and DJ'd the greatest reception/party of our lives. Seriously, they can throw an amazing party! What sets these guys apart, however, is their incredible heart for their clients. They took me and my fiance out for drinks to talk about our wedding, get to know us, and really invest in our marriage in more ways than just being our DJ. They are one of the most incredible guys we know, and we feel truly honored to have them be part of our big day! Jesse goes above and beyond for each bride and groom - his intentionality to each couple is unmatched in the industry. We had Jesse run sound for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then DJ our reception, and could not have made a better decision. He helped us map out the flow for each part, and when it was time to party - he helped us break it down like no one else. We really couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Jesse and Judah Press Entertainment. We could really tell that Jesse's number one goal was to create a setting that personified Tommy and I as a couple. He truly cared about us and our desires for the reception. He didn't want to just manufacture the same old atmosphere with the same old playlist and punchlines- he wanted that reception to be unique to us and a party that we nor any of our guests would ever forget. And he nailed it. We still get people to this day (3 years later) telling us how much fun they had and asking us who that DJ was. Choosing Judah Press Entertainment could very well be the absolute best decision you make next to choosing your respective spouse on your wedding day. I have attended a wedding in Georgia where Judah Press was the DJ... I can honestly say it was the best time I have EVER had at a wedding. And I am not alone... the entire reception was filled for hours and the bride and groom even stayed until late in the evening. It was as if this DJ knew perfectly every age and personality in that room, and he was playing hits that got every single body up and moving. The atmosphere was JUST. SO. FUN. Not only that, it was classy. There were no older couples frowning upon a dirty dance floor. And there were no young folks bored because of the typical reception repetitives. It was a perfect blend for everyone. And I loved that he did not place the focus on himself but the bride and groom, even engaging the crowd in the most adorable games that highlighted the couple on their big day. We chose to work with Jesse of Judah Press after having a blast at a friends wedding that he DJed and are SO glad we did. He went above and beyond in helping us out, not only with our music, but also with helping us envision our reception and how to make it run smoothly. He is very easy to work with and it is so clear how much he loves people. Jesse was the best! He's super personable and friendly and made a real effort to get to know us personally to ensure that our wedding say was perfect. Hands down the best DJ I've ever come across. Our entire wedding planning became much easier as soon as we hired Jesse. Before we met with him, there seemed to be so many moving parts and confusing options, but Jesse was able to pull everything together. He's so nice and caring, and his role in our wedding was much more than "music guy" or "entertainer." This guy seriously knows the wedding-day process inside and out, and therefore he was able to collaborate seamlessly with our coordinator and other vendors to make our wedding better than we could have dreamed. At our reception, everyone danced--and danced hard! To this day, people often remind us of how "legendary" our dance party was. Without a doubt, that was 100% due to Jesse's ability to stir the crowd. Even our grandparents threw down! From our experience, we learned that having a high quality DJ is absolutely necessary in order to have a fun wedding. And in the dozens of weddings we've been to since our own, Judah Press is the best we've come across: they're knowledgeable, extremely talented, and they really cared about us as people--not merely clients. Our budget was tight and we were hesitant to spend money on a DJ when we could just hire my Dad's friend to run the iPod. Same experience, right?

WRONG!

Judah Press Entertainment was EASILY the best money we spent on our entire wedding. We have been (seriously) raving about them and begging our friends to use them since. They don't just control the music, they control the environment. We had over 350 guests and ALL of them (including the ones that hate dancing) were going crazy on the dance floor.

What I love most best about their services, however, is that Jesse was committed to protecting us as a couple. He instructed guests to give us 15 minutes to eat and stood as body guard, lovingly shooing people away so we could soak it all in. Then he helped us go visit with the elderly, families with kids, and needy guests first so that when it was time to dance, everyone felt loved and no one was yanking us off the dance floor.

One zillion raving recommendations for Judah Press Entertainment. (Ps- If this was helpful, thank me by invite Aaron and I to your reception. We won't eat anything but would pay money to attend a Judah Press party again.)

I have been to a lot of weddings, and more importantly a lot of wedding receptions. If you think about it, the only thing anyone ever really remembers is the reception, because most the time the wedding ceremony is only about 15 or 20 minutes long. As far as receptions go, I've seen them all. I've been to live band receptions, dj receptions, a mixture of each, and even ipod driven receptions. Out of all of these, the absolute best one I've ever been to was my own! Don't get me wrong, being the center of attention was pretty nice, but it was honestly Jesse Pilkenton of Judah Press Entertainment that made it super special. Not only did he make a playlist specific to our desires, but he also did a heck of a job MC-ing. I have never been to a wedding reception that had a dance floor as packed out as this one, and there were no lulls or an empty dance floor. He was out there dancing with us, laughing with us, and keeping it all very lively and fun! Hands down, he did the best job I've ever seen a DJ do. My husband and I hired Jesse of Judah Press Entertainment for our wedding reception. Hiring a DJ is far more than just hiring someone to play music, it's hiring someone who really knows how to read the crowd and host a party. Jesse exceeded our expectations in both areas. Within just a couple weeks of being engaged, Jesse was recommended to me by 2 different trusted friends to be our wedding DJ, so I knew I needed to contact this guy. From the first interaction on the phone with Jesse (who my husband and I now lovingly call DJJ), I knew we had to book him. He didn't know me or my husband from Adam but he was so enthusiastic about our wedding from the beginning and excited to be a part of our day. He was so easy to work with and was super reachable during the planning process. He was our DJ for just the reception yet he sat down with us prior to our wedding and discussed the details of the whole day, but especially the reception. With his extensive experience of weddings, he was able to give us great insight about practical ideas that would make our day a lot smoother, and we solidified music, timing, and other details that he takes care of. We felt so at ease after meeting with him. On the day of, we were able to just enjoy the reception and not worry about what to do next and at what time because Jesse took care of all of it. The reception was so much fun and went off without a hitch, and we attribute all of that to our super fun and DJ. He was the absolute best and I recommend him to anyone!

Jesse was truly a blessing to our wedding. He not only kept our entire group of wedding guests entertained throughout the night, he made sure the night was exactly how my husband and I wanted it. He also did the music for our ceremony, and it went beautifully! Jesse really poured a lot of love into our ceremony and reception, and it was very evident throughout our entire wedding day. He was very easy to work with, and even had some awesome ideas that we absolutely enjoyed (ask about The Shoe Game!). We have had so many people tell us how awesome our DJ was, and I wouldn't trust a special day like that with anyone else!

hen we started planning our wedding, a couple of things didn't require any thought. One of those things was where the music for the reception would come from. We had been to weddings and events that Jesse had DJ'd for before, and it was always wonderful and fun. When we reached out to Jesse and he decided to DJ our wedding, he was always professional, prompt and up front. We always knew what to expect and meetings never really felt like 'meetings.' Anytime with Jesse is a fun time. On the wedding day, everything was a blur, but we had no worries. From the time we said 'I Do' to the time we were driving away, Jesse facilitated everything perfectly. There were no awkward transitions, no times where people were wondering 'what to do next' and EVERYBODY was having a great time! People of all ages enjoyed themselves both on and off the dance floor. In the days following our wedding, everybody commented on a few aspects of our special day that stuck out to them, specifically. One of the things that was a constant from everyone that attended was that the DJ was absolutely wonderful at bridging any kind of 'generational' gap that may have existed between guests and stewarding the direction of our reception to a place that made everyone feel like dancing and having fun. Jesse is unbelievably good at what he does, and we are honored to call him one of our most cherished friends.

When planning your wedding there's the ever-present debate of DJ or band. Well, let me make that decision easy for you, if you can get Jesse as your DJ, then stop the talk and make it happen. My wife and I live in California but as we are both from Georgia we ended up getting married at the Botanical Gardens in Athens. We were looking for a DJ and our wedding planner recommended Jesse and we couldn't have been happier. We talked over Skype and immediately liked his attitude, enthusiasm and adaptability. We communicated through email a couple of times and then finally met in person the weekend of the wedding. He did a fantastic job with the music but even more importantly he did an amazing job controlling the pace and energy of the wedding. He knew when to switch up the pace of the music to give people a chance to rest or to get people dancing again. Additionally, he had my wife and I play a game that we appropriately called the Shoe Game that for many people was a definite highlight of the reception. We can honestly say that without Jesse, our wedding would not have been the success that it was and we will forever be grateful to him for making our special day so perfect

Using Judah Press Entertainment was the best choice I made in the process of planning my wedding. My husband and I needed someone who not only could throw a great dance party for people of all ages, but someone who could emcee. Jesse was an absolute joy to work with, and we were so fortunate to have him in such a key position on our big day. He kept the party going, made our reception the liveliest party, and interacted with our guests as if he were a part of the family! Also, I'll never ever forget that up until the day of the wedding Jesse & I had never met (but we had talked a loooooot on the phone picking out songs and such) and he came by the church as I was getting ready for the ceremony to give me a hug, say a quick prayer, and assure me that all was taken care of at the reception. What a blessing for a bride to hear that she has nothing to think about on her big day except for that walk down the aisle. Thanks Jesse!!

Judah Press was one of our favorite vendors!

I will always recommend Judah Press Entertainment from here on out! Jesse was amazingly down to earth and easy to connect with, right off the bat. DJ Sam was assigned to us for our wedding in March of 2022, and he was just as phenomenal. I had what I felt like were several special requests and I was worried they would be too complicated to work out, but Sam remained super chill and everything was just as I had wished it would be! Everyone at our wedding was on the dance floor! It was a blast.

You must use him!

I cannot say enough about how amazing it was having Jesse, from Judah Press! I had been to a few weddings with him as the DJ but hands down will always recommend him after using him for my own wedding. He was fun, friendly, encouraging and very organized. We had a few mishaps in responsiveness but I also know with Covid, it has been crazy times and it did not distract from our experience. Many of my guests, who have been to weddings with other DJs, commented about how fun, friendly and seamless the reception was with Jesse as a DJ. He knows how to run the night, play music that fit our style and have fun himself which I know helps others loosen up. He was so receptive to requests from the guests despite that not being in the plan! He worked with us in pricing but I honestly would go back again and again and pay him for his services but they are top notch. You cannot go wrong with him! You can see him in a few photos with that hat on!

Heather and Calvin Wheeler JPE DJ Wedding Review!

JPE is the BEST DJ Company I have ever experienced - thankfully it was my own wedding :) They have multiple experienced, fun, up-to-date on music, DJs that want to help make your day everything you want and more. Sam was our DJ and he met with Calvin and I in person to discuss everything. He got to know more about us, what we needed help with (ceremony, reception, special song choices, etc.), what our priorities were, etc. He also let us get to know him, tell us about his experience and vision. Sam played DJ'd during our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and all the special moments within. We also had light upgrades for our reception to add to the experience -- DO IT, it's worth it!! The process of collaborating on atmosphere music vs dance requests vs special moments on separate playlists was especially fun for me because I enjoy making playlists and love a variety of genres, artists, remixes...but I know that even if you're not THAT person, JPE DJ's will still hook you up with the best reception music you could ask for. They do not just go by a playlist, they use their professional expertise, read the room, mix and transition smoothly, etc. If you want a truly QUALITY DJ, they are worth the money and create a good relationship with you. Wedding DJ

Jesse and Judah Press put on a fabulous wedding for us. Long story short we planned and canceled a wedding for May 2020 and when we planned a new, much smaller, much more low key wedding for July 2020 they were the one thing we still had to have. Jesse was my choice as soon as I got engaged as I knew him from other work he had done. He has excellent taste in music, a contagiously vibrant personality, and a beautiful and Godly spirit. He worked incredibly hard with us and with our venue to put on a perfect ceremony and reception. He was a huge reason that everyone had a blast and we got a ton of compliments. Do yourself a favor and hire Judah Press!

Judah Press was great to work with-- professional, easy going, and flexible. They were easy to reach when we had any questions or ideas to run by them. Day of the wedding, I didn't even see Drew until we were coming into the reception and he was already on top of everything making sure we were on the same page. Only minor issue was the sound. We had issues hearing announcements and speeches. So I would encourage some sound checks early, but other than that, everything went well and Drew really did what we asked of him.

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! As a bride, having several different concerns/stresses about her wedding, one thing I did not need to worry about whatsoever was the music, which believe me, was a huge load off my plate! I remember I was literally down to the weekend of my wedding trying to select certain songs for the ceremony and Jesse was so patient and willing to do whatever was needed! The music, the service, the attitude, the encouragement, the prayers, EVERYTHING was so phenomenal and truly helped make our wedding so memorable for us! We had SOOO many guests/friends/family members compliment the music and DJ from our wedding and tell us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! Judah Press is awesome! As with everything there were a few things that did not go according to plan; however we definitely got our money’s worth! Our DJ was Sam; however Jesse , the owner, accompanied him as he wanted a chance to check out our venue. I can't individually evaluate Sam as Jesse was there & he was so great! I'm sure Sam’s great too, but if I were to do it again I would insist on having Jesse as the primary DJ.
Pros:
-Jesse got on the dance floor & taught guests how to do the Cupid Shuffle which was awesome; & he did it in a totally professional non-cheesy way.
-When Jesse was at the controls & he noted less people were dancing he promptly changed the music. He had remixes of Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Gangsta's Paradise that were huge hits with our late Gen- X/ Early Millennial crowd.
-Jesse is such a humble, genuine person, we offered him some of our leftover flowers to take home to his wife and he was extremely grateful.

Cons:
-They did play the wrong song for our recessional which I was disappointed about; primarily because the correct song was listed on our program and people kept asking me about it. Then again I am a huge perfectionist and always looking for ways to improve.
-Sam followed our song list fairly well, we had a lot of slow songs so I told him to improvise so people would keep dancing. Unfortunately, that meant a few key songs weren't played, but obviously I was having too much fun to notice at the time. I wasn’t a fan of a couple of the songs he chose; I should have made it clear that 80’s hair bands and grunge music are NOT my style.
-If you don't want people to be able to request songs or at least not during dinner make that clear as my brother-in-law tipped them into playing Usher's "Confessions" right in the middle of dinner (awkward!).

Overall you can't go wrong with Judah Press, I highly recommend!

Judah Press Entertainment offers fantastic service while bringing life and fun to the party! Jesse was very easy to work with throughout the planning, as well as the day of the event. His personality is very upbeat and positive, making the entire process enjoyable and fun. He has great experience and knowledge in the entertainment industry and was very helpful in guiding us through the flow of the entire event. He has great skill in getting anyone out on the dance floor regardless of their age by playing a wide variety of music that everyone enjoys. He is very interactive in the dance party and a ton of fun to have among your guests. We are big fans of Jesse as a person as well as a DJ. Missed the mark

I can't in good faith recommend using these guys. They were great in the planning process, but the day of, when it mattered, they missed the mark.
For our first dance that we'd been working on for months, we told RJ (our dj for the night) to fade out once we ended the dance - with a note it would be around the 1:37 mark. He just cut it at 1:37, so I was dipped in awkward silence. Folks, if you work that hard on something that special, you do not want your first dance to be messed with.
Next, the father/daughter, mother/son dance went on for 3 minutes, after explicit instructions to cut it at 90 seconds.
On our RSVPs, we'd ask that our guests request songs. We compiled those songs into a spotify list and sent over. Throughout the night, we maybe heard a handful of these requested songs. Any requests made throughout the night weren't accomodated due to the lack of wifi (but a cell phone hotspot would have easily worked). We asked for slow songs to sprinkle in throughout the night and only had one at the very, very end. It was just...disappointing.
