Nafa and her talented team at Judah Ave were absolutely outstanding at our wedding on November 7th! They captured incredible photos of everyone, and honestly, every shot looked like a money shot—I just knew our gallery would be amazing.
Even as chaos unfolded, the whole team kept us in good spirits and brought so much creativity to our poses, catching every angle and perfectly reflecting the vibe of our day. Their professionalism and energy made every moment in front of the camera comfortable and fun.
I truly can’t recommend Judah Ave more highly. They were excellent in every way, and I’ll be booking them for all our future photography needs. I already know our photos ATE DOWN, and I cannot wait to see the final results! -

Nafa and the Judah Avenue team were exceptional on my big day! We booked the package that included engagement photos and I'm so glad we did because our guest can't stop talking about how great our pictures were!
On the day of the wedding Judah Ave sent Aaliyah as an extra set of hand to help and that was the best gift I didn't know I needed! She was literally my honorary bridesmaid! The attention to detail and quality of service is truly 1-of-1.

Look no further!!!! Your search is done. Judah Avenue is the best photography team, hands down. Extremely professional, thorough, creative, and so ridiculously talented. Great great great communication. The owner is simply amazing!! They did photography for my September 2024 wedding. All our pictures were simply stunning. Vibrant, bright, reflected our high energy of the day; but also had editorial style, and glamorous style. NO amateurs here. We were flooded with soooo many amazing pictures, we can't even choose! They were at the right place at the right time, and always ready to capture all the important moments. They pay attention to small details, things I didn't even know to ask for. There were zero equipment mishaps, they were well prepared. You will not be disappointed! Book them TODAY. -

Words can’t describe our amazing experience with Judah Avenue as our wedding photographer and videographer! Judah Avenue was truly God-Sent! When we first contacted Judah Avenue and spoke with Suzan, we knew right away that it was a perfect match! Both Suzan and Susan made the booking and planning process so smooth and easy.
We were unable to meet the Judah Avenue team prior to our wedding as we are out of town, however when the team arrived on our wedding day with the most positive energy, we had an instant connection and had so much fun together! Our wedding day was glorious and Judah Avenue captured every moment beautifully! Only 3 days after our wedding, Maria sent us a sweet video teaser as well as a few lovely photos of my husband and I. We were blown away by how beautiful they were! We couldn’t wait to share with our family and friends!
We would absolutely recommend Judah Avenue a million times over! If you are looking for a professional, experienced, prompt, extremely talented, and super fun wedding photographer and videographer in the DMV area, Judah Avenue is the most excellent choice!

Judah Avenue is hands down the best photography company you can ever work with. I had been seeing their pictures here and there on instagram and was waiting for a reason to be able to book with them. Once I got engaged, there was no question on who I was going to go with. We had Joy and Nigel for our day of. They blended in and were like guests at our wedding all while capturing some of the most amazing moments of our day. They were fun and personable the entire way through. Book them, you won't regret it!! -

After a lot of researching and deliberating, we decided to hire Judah Photography, one of the best wedding photographers in the DMV area (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia), to capture our wedding day during the Memorial Day weekend 2019. This was by far one of the best decisions we made concerning our wedding vendors! One of the reasons is, before the wedding, Judah Photography, kept in constant contact with us. From the beginning of our relationship the whole Judah team made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our wedding day. SuZan was always readily available to answer any and every question promptly and provided expert level recommendations. We had a number of detailed and inviting telephone conversations about wedding details as well as our love story so that the photographers didn’t only capture the visual aspects of the wedding but tried to encapsulate who we were.
We finally had the opportunity to meet in person the day of the wedding and it felt like old friends coming in town for the celebration. Nafa, Huy, and Taby floated seamlessly among our various venues, the bridal party, and amongst our guests: getting ready in the hotel, on the way to the ceremony, at the wedding ceremony, on the way to and at the reception. Everyone knows that things do not always go as planned with weddings, and as true professionals, Judah Avenue adapted to the circumstances. For example, we were scheduled to take pictures as the sun was setting. However, because the reception started late, we missed the timing. Nonetheless, Nafa and Taby pulled us out of the reception for a few minutes and captured the most beautiful evening photos--beyond what we ever imagined.
Now, on to the surprise and real treat of viewing our photos after the wedding. We were told that we would receive our photos 6-8 weeks after the event but received them within 3 weeks. The pictures were nothing short of amazing; our first impression was the color, all of the pictures were bright and the colors really popped off the page. The pictures were beautiful and the photographers went out of their way in order to catch us in a variety of poses and truly flatter us. If you want an intimate wedding photography experience with amazing, show-stopping pictures, go with Judah Photography, for your wedding! You won’t regret it; they make memories! -

Nafa, Nii, Felix, Taby, 5Susan, Suzan, and Maria are absolutely the best wedding photographer, wedding videographer, in New Jersey, New York, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia area hands down. Sherri Sent on 06/19/2018My advice for future brides and grooms considering Judah as your photographer for your wedding day is to just go ahead and DO IT!! You will not regret booking with Judah. Our entire team was simply amazing. Joy and Joseph were our photographers on our wedding day and they were beyond amazing. They weren't pushy and controlling. We had fun with them the entire day from our getting ready pictures down to reception. They made us feel very comfortable and they quickly learn your sides lol. Maria, Susan, and Suzan were my go to ladies. Very sweet ladies and always able to reach them via email or phone. My husband and I didn't have any worries because we knew they were going to making sure everything would be perfect for us and it was. I absolutely love Judah Avenue and highly recommend them. -

Throughout the entire process, you and your team continued wow us with your creative poses and attention to detail. Judah Avenue's team was so responsive and easy to work with which gave me so much added comfort knowing if things went wrong my wedding then at least I would have some amazing pictures. When I first Nafa, she mentioned that her clients never leave and continue to use her photography services throughout the years to come. Well, I can definitely see why they don't leave- I can't wait to photography my next major milestones (maturity, family, etc) with Judah Avenue in the future! -

Her creativity and style from her website caught my attention as I am a person who loves colors, dynamics, but class and crispness in photos. She is very photojournalistic! I love that, she caught portraits but the candid pictures were exquisite! She made me feel like she was a friend, not just a vendor. She really dedicated personal time in numerous phone calls, photo site visits, posing tips, and even in other aspects of my wedding. Her eye for detail was just amazing, she caught the little things and created shots of my wedding items in such a creative heart felt way. There were times with some of my other wedding vendors that I thought I was going to lose it, but she comforted me on several occasions and checked in on me when it wasn't her task as a photographer to do so... She is talented, flexible, professional, creative, and timely. I found her price to be very affordable. She looked at my needs and provided a GREAT package!!
