It Rained but JS Visions Photography team made sure that the weather didn't stop us from capturing the most beautiful memories.

It rained throughout our entire wedding day, but Jose and the JS Visions Photography team made sure that the weather didn't stop us from capturing the most beautiful memories. After our ceremony, we headed to Planting Fields hoping to take photos inside the greenhouse. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, it had already closed. I'm still not sure what Jose said to the staff, but somehow he was able to get them to reopen it just so we could have our photos taken. That level of dedication and commitment meant so much to us. From the very beginning, the customer service was exceptional. Jose was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible. Despite the rain, he never let the weather get in the way. He found creative ways to capture every important moment, and the results were absolutely breathtaking. Looking through our photos takes me right back to our wedding day. Every smile, every emotion, and every special moment was captured so beautifully. We truly couldn't have asked for a better photographer. If I ever need a photographer again, I know exactly who I'll be calling. I recommend JS Visions Photography without hesitation. Thank you, Jose, for going above and beyond and for giving us memories we'll cherish forever. Your talent, professionalism, and dedication are truly unmatched!

Greatest Most Underrated Photographer!!!

Review: 10/10! Completely underrated photographer!!! He doesn’t have a big social media presence but omg his work is incredible. He is so sweet and so good at what he does. We told him we wanted to get our photos done before the wedding and get mainly candid shots throughout the night and that is exactly what he did. He made us feel so comfortable throughout the photos and when he notices we were getting tired he gave us a break. It ended up raining on our wedding day so I didn’t get a lot of the photos I initially thought we would get but Jose adapted and the shots he showed us while shooting were just as incredible as anything I could have imagined.

Highly recommend!!

We had Jose as our photographer and Jacob as our videographer. These guys are complete professionals, no doubt! They both come with a lot of experience and they were able to capture every single moment between the ceremony and reception. Our photos came out absolutely stunning, and the video is a masterpiece! Would absolutely recommend!!

Above and Beyond!

Jose and his team are phenomenal! I understand why Soundview Caterers in Bayville, Long Island recommends them so highly. We purchased their photography and videography package for our wedding and they made the experience fun! Ibu was fantastic taking video and let my husband and I just be ourselves. The team worked with us to make sure we still made cocktail hour and enjoyed the wedding to the fullest! I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful pictures and video Jose and Ibu shot for us!

AMAZING to work with!

This review is LONG OVERDUE!! It’s been 6 months since we got married & maybe about a year since meeting up with JS Visions Photography and Cinematography, which came highly recommended by our wedding venue, Soundview Caterers of Bayville, NY. Jose was WONDERFUL to work with! He wanted to know what our vision was for ourselves in capturing our special day, and he worked with what we wanted. I thought it was very helpful that he had us fill out an information sheet in advance, being sure to document any special photos that we wanted - as the day can get hectic and it’s easy to forget if not being mindful of these things!
Another thing I very much appreciated was that while there was an engagement photo shoot included with our wedding package, neither of us felt very motivated to do one 😆 . We spoke with Jose about this, and he allowed us to use our “engagement photo shoot” towards our smaller church ceremony that took place the week before our larger wedding. Therefore, JS Visions Photography & Cinematography worked with us for TWO weekends in a row!!!

Jose & his team were very thoughtful and helpful to work with! He gladly went out of his way to help groomsmen & the fathers affix their boutonnières, and he was very mindful of things like objects in the pocket which may show up in photography, as well as photos with and without eyeglasses in place.
On the day of our larger wedding, when things were running late (as they often do!) Jose was very patient, and took the opportunity to capture the moments that were available to photograph as we finished getting ready. These have turned out to be sweet memories.

I highly recommend JS Visions Photography and Cinematography to any bride & groom looking to capture all the precious moments of the wedding day to perfection!

Easy, comfortable, and fun!

Jose was our photographer and his daughter Brenda was there as an assistant. Jose was very efficient and knows how to keep the mood light to get everyone to relax and have fun! He is a preferred vendor of Soundview and his photography package was a very reasonable price! Our photos really captured how much fun we were having the whole day and I couldn’t be happier with how they all turned out!

Brilliant.

There is not enough good things to say about JS visions. I have worked with them during my twin sister’s wedding 2 years ago as a maid of honor and now 2 years later as a Bride. I knew as soon as I got engaged I already had our photographer and videographer picked out. I did not need to go searching for a new one!! Why fix what is not broken??? Jose and his crew have the best spirits and are just the best people to work with. They make you laugh during the whole day and really listen to and capture all your desired details. Not just the wedding day, but through out the whole experience they make you feel so comfortable, welcomed, important, and mostly they make you feel beautiful!!! Being in front of a camera can be nerve-racking for anyone, especially on your wedding day , but with JS visions it will feel like a walk in the park and you will ENJOY IT even you men!!! My husband hates taking pictures and on our wedding day he couldn’t get enough all thanks to this crew. We truly had the best day ever with Jose during our engagement shoot and it made us that much more excited for our wedding day. The pictures are BREATHTAKING. you ask , THEY DELIVER. PERIOD.

My favorite wedding vendor!

I’m writing this review from my honeymoon as an extremely satisfied bride! Jose went absolutely above and beyond! We appreciated him being on time, very helpful with advice but not overly regimented and super fun to work with all day long. He kept us on track to ensure that we got as many of our shot list photos as possible in the allotted time. He also came up with creative ideas for backgrounds and shots, especially a spontaneous night shot since we weren’t able to take many outdoor photos due to inclement weather. He rolled with the punches like a true professional when the rain forced us to move our bridal portrait, family and bridal party photos and outdoor cocktail hour indoors. We were looking forward to our outdoor golden hour/sunset photos and Jose nailed it by pulling us aside quickly later in the night when the rain slowed for an outdoor bride and groom shot that was executed flawlessly. Jose was very creative finding the best ways to highlight our wedding and make us all feel very comfortable in front of the camera at the same time. It also didn't go unnoticed how seamlessly he worked with the other vendors and our venue coordinator behind the scenes to ensure that everything went smoothly. My husband and I haven’t been able to stop raving about Jose and his team. We are very glad that we added videography to our wedding package as well and look forward to watching all the professionally captured moments! We can’t wait for the next opportunity to work with Jose and team and highly recommend!

Best Wedding Vow Family Photos!

I had the honor of having Jose Serrano photograph the wedding of my parents back in Aug 2021. This was a very small and intimate celebration with only the immediate family including kids and grandkids. My parents never had the chance to being celebrated nor they had a photoshoot before. Jose, treated this intimate celebration as it was a big celebration and took his time to capture the love, laughter and most of all, made my mom and dad feel comfortable, feel pretty and deserving of this 45 years celebration. Worth it!

I debated whether or not to hire a videographer, especially given my rising expenses. But now that I've seen our films, I can honestly say that it was WORTH IT!!! JS Visions Photo and Video is a wonderful company to work with since they are kind and helpful. Our films turned out just how we envisioned them, and we couldn't have wished for anything better.

Photography Experience

Our photographer was Jose, he was so amazing and understanding, we were struggling to find a photographer on short notice for our event which was a Gala for Adelphi. However, Jose was very professional and understanding. The communication was on point and he was so understanding and helped every way he could. It was such as great experience working with him and the pictures came out amazing. We look forward to working with him in the future.

Happy Bride

My husband and I were so nervous to take photos for our engagement and wedding. We wanted amazing photos but aren't always comfortable in front of the camera. However, as soon as we met Jose we knew we found our perfect photographer. He was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable taking photos! We did our engagement shoot in Long Beach right on the sand and boardwalk. He was able to capture the light so beautifully and make us look dreamy. On the day of our wedding, he arrived early and got amazing getting ready shots and then dealt with a bit of a delay at our church ceremony but used the time to get some photos of the groom! At our venue, he made sure to capture all of the shots we had requested and made all of our guests feel at ease. Also, he made sure to pull us out quickly at sunset for some great lighting. He is detailed, organized and so personable. He was one of the easiest vendors to work with and I would recommend anyone to book with him immediately!

Forever Memories

We were celebrating my parent's 65th Wedding Anniversary and Jose was our photographer. We didn't have a party (covid) but wanted to do some family photos since everyone was going to be home for the big day. We were almost 20 people. Jose arrived early, got to know everyone and then began to do his job! His assistant, Gabbi was equally as kind and patient as Jose. He took so many beautiful pictures. Each family had their own little photo shoot. We did all different scenarios. He took some very special pictures of my parents; even including my mom's wedding gown in several pictures. When we received our pictures all the family was thrilled! Now comes the difficult part to pick the few that everyone can agree on. We of course want to pick all the photos! Jose has great patience! And he was very kind about listening to all the amateur photographers in the group!!! Jose and Gabbi took it in stride. All of us only have positive comments to make on Jose's behalf. We have beautiful family photos that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Amazing Wedding Photorgapher!

We had the pleasure of using Jose as the photographer for our wedding. We couldn’t ask for a better photographer for our special day. Jose’s artistic eye and attention to details made our wedding photos turn out amazing. We’re currently having a hard time choosing which photos to include in our album. All of the photos Jose took of our day came out more better than we can ever imagined. Jose was also so accommodating to work with and made us all feel at ease through out the process. His prices were reasonable for the all the work he did to make our wedding even more memorable. Captured every special moment and more!

We contune to relive our wedding day through Jose's exceptional photos. He is a pleasure to work with and always gave great feedback when we had questions on where to take photos around Long Island or just frantic day of questions. He definitely put our nerves at ease and helped us enjoy the day. He is a true experienced professional and his work speaks for itself. Our photos tell a lovely story about our day and how our families (and us!) had an amazing time. We knew once we had our engagement session that Jose was truly thorough and would not end the day until he was happy and we were happy. Jose has an eye for taking absolutely beautiful pictures. He knew exactly what to do what pictures to take. Everything went so smoothly. Photographer and videographer are one of the most important vendors on your wedding day, with a good photographer you can really capture the day. Jose went above and beyond my expectations. Jose and Vanessa were a breeze to work with for our wedding. They completely made us feel at ease and worked with us on our budget. Jose is also very accessible and will get back to you quickly whether it be by email, phone or instagram. We were so worried with everything going smoothly on our big day and making sure to get all the photos we needed, but with all the planning and required shots we had talked about prior to the day, Vanessa really worked her magic. We were thrilled to see all the beautiful photos exactly as we had imagined it; from the poses, the little details, to the type of look we had wanted for our photos to come out. Obviously planning a wedding can be stressful and when your wedding day finally arrives you can be even more overwhelmed wondering if everything will go accordingly! At least I was. When it came to using JS Visions Photography we never once had to feel worried whether or not their company would live up to excellence for our wedding day. The process was fluid and with our package we were able to get engagement photos done as well. His staff was delightful, the fee was amazing and the photos and creativity to get those memorable shots were stellar! They were worth everything and made me so happy!!! Amazing! Jose was a photographer for our daughter's baptism and we were 110% happy with everything! He was great, professional, timely, did an amazing job and as a result we have beautiful pictures. Amazing work. Jose and JS Visions Photography and Video did a great job with our engagement shoot and Wedding. We are so happy with all the pictures.
The Engagement shoot was fun. Jose did an amazing job with the photos to capture what we wanted (Sunset, bridges, water, city backdrop, cobble stone streets). Jose was very easy going and really has a vision of how to make a picture look beautiful.
Wedding day was just the same. Jose captured everything we wanted from shots at the hotel, though the wedding, and to the end when we left in a Rolls Royce. Jose and his crew were never pushy and at times funny and clever to get people organized to do what was needed for the perfect shots.
Jose went above and beyond our expectations and really made working with him easy and a pleasure. I would highly recommend JS Visions to anyone that is looking for a photographer.

As my husband and I were planning our wedding, we met with Jose. Jose was very welcoming, easy to talk to and relate to. At our meeting we spoke about our vision and saw numerous of Jose's albums, as well as a short video clip. His work speaks for itself!! We had previously had met with another photographer, nothing compared to Jose or Jose's work. We clicked with Jose and I knew I wanted JS Visions Photo & Video. The day of our wedding arrived, we had the pleasure to have Mike as our photographer and George as our videographer. Both were very professional, punctual, easy to work with and friendly. Made us all feel very comfortable and enjoy every second of the night. They were very creative and took our ideas into account. My husband and I are in complete awe with our wedding pictures. JS visions went above and beyond to capture our beautiful day, as well as our engagement pictures. We got married on 11/11/16 out on Long Island. In weeks leading up to the event, Jose and Michael made themselves available to meet with us to go over specific shots we wanted and discuss the details of the day. They both made the process so painless. They gave us suggested shots and showed us beautiful sample albums. On the day of the of wedding, Michael showed up right on time. He was accompanied by his assistant Jennifer and the videographer, George. They made standing in front of the camera completely comfortable. There was great communication amongst them and with us. They followed the timeline set as closely as they could while having to deal with so many family members. Everything ran smoothly. Michael and the rest of the team were in constant communication with our Maitre'd and together made sure we were able to get the shots we desired, while keeping up with the designated times for pictures. We are so thankful to have to have worked with such great photographers and have these beautiful memories captured for us to look back on for years to come. Thank you so much JS visions!

We recently had the honor to call Jose our photographer. My husband and I got married in July and Jose really out did himself. He was punctual, professional, creative and very easy to work with. Everything you look for in a photographer. He makes you feel very comfortable while taking pictures which makes the final product seem very natural. The same goes for our videographer George. The skill that the whole crew possessed was second to none. Truly great people to work with

Went to J.S. For our wedding they made our photography worries go away. They took care of us and got all the pictures we wanted. The day of went off without a hitch and they actually made posing simple and fun and made sure the day was about us. We are beyond thrilled with having hired Jose and his team to be our photographer and videographer. Upon meeting with Jose, five minutes in at his studio we knew he was the one. The beautiful photography he displays in his studio shows how creative and different he is from other photographers. Not to mention now professional, yet humble and friendly he is. I found Jose through another photographer friend. He was very professional and great to work with, I am glad I found him. The pictures came out great. I'm still waiting on my video so I can't comment on that, but the value for the services was excellent and I'm sure the video will be just as good as my photos.

We heard about Jose from a friend and he was a pleasure to work with. From the beginning to the end of the process he made sure he customized his services to ensure we were getting what we wanted. He also assisted us by making suggestions concerning things we hadn't even considered. When the special day arrived, Jose delivered everything he had promised, but more importantly, he was fun to work with. We all laughed and had a good time together, which made the photos even better. Everything was relaxed and enjoyable, which is something that goes a long way on that type of day. I had the pleasure of working with Jose at a work event. He was so easy to work with and his photos came out amazing!! When it came time to planning my wedding I didn’t think twice on who I was going to use. Jose and his team are so awesome to work with. They arrived early, were so professional and friendly . Jose and his team captured every detail and emotion of our special day and made sure that all of our family photos and portraits went smoothly, they really made taking the photos enjoyable. Not only were my photos amazing but Jose and his Videographer made the most amazing short video of the day that makes me cry tears of joy every time I watch it.

All of my guests are still talking about how gorgeous our photos came out and how awesome Jose and his crew were. I would recommend JS Visions to everyone he is very talented!!!

Jose Serrano is by far the best of the best when it comes to photography. His photos speak for themselves. Photography was very important to us, probably one of the most important things and we loved his style. He was very easy to talk to and you could tell he was confident in what he does (and rightly so). Great communication, easy to talk to and he responds very quickly. As you can see, Jose did a phenomenal job on our day. He captured everything that I wanted to capture and many things that I didn't even notice that day. During the ceremony, you don't even know he's there -- he's practically invisible. We were both ecstatic with our pictures. He shot over 1000 photos, so many amazing and artistic shots to choose from. We I loved them all! A lot of people at our wedding were impressed how quickly he took pictures, how he organized the groups together, and how unobtrusive he was. He gave us our proofs in about 2 weeks time. Many people asked for his information which I gladly gave. He is really easy to work with (very professional) and a really nice guy overall. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Jose was amazing, he was very professional and even helped me pick the best spot to take photos for my daughter’s Quince. She was sad because her party was cancelled due to covid, but he made her dream come true and capture this part of her life. I felt very at ease and comfortable with Jose from the first time I met him at a bridal showcase, and my husband and I knew he was the right person to photograph our wedding. He is professional, courteous, easy going, and takes amazing photographs! The day of the wedding Jose made sure to get all the shots we wanted, while still letting me dance and enjoy the night! We are so in love with our engagement and wedding albums. I’m having a hard time choosing which to put in the printed album! Jose Serrano and his team were a pleasure to work with!! It was a beautiful wedding and I was really happy with how all the photography was handled. Jose had good ideas for backgrounds and "moods"; I was confident to just follow his lead.
