Ava was absolutely wonderful! She worked with us to put together a somewhat unusual ceremony, and she officiated with grace and heart. -

Ava Brock was an angel! She provided a beautiful ceremony exactly how we wanted! So sweet and positive during the whole process. We're from TN and had to find an Officiant for our wedding in Mt Rainier and I couldn't be more pleased that we found Ava! She was so helpful and down for whatever we wanted to do. We had in our heads something short and sweet for the ceremony and she literally made our ceremony so perfect! My entire family was blown away by her words. We are so thankful that we chose her for our wedding! We had to hike to our ceremony spot which was 20 minutes ALL uphill and she did it with us. It was not an easy hike either! I would TOTALLY 100% recommend Ava to anyone for their special day! Thank you Ava for everything! -

Available was great! She got to know us and really helped make us and our wedding party and family feel comfortable during the rehearsal and ceremony. She helped guide us through planning the ceremony and gave us examples for different pieces of the ceremony with the flexibility to adjust it to make it our own! -

Ava is nice and professional. She is responsive and always there to help the couple figure out what the best ceremony plan is. Her big smile makes the bride calm down and enjoys every moment during the ceremony. -

Ava was amazing! She walked us through everything, step by step, to help insure that we were on track with all the legalities and that we had the ceremony that was right for us as a couple. She had many different ways to customize our ceremony and had a multitude of ideas to include our young son and our guests. Ava helped me coordinate our rehearsal and was absolutely wonderful on the day of our wedding. Everything went smoothly and we received many compliments on how loving, tender, and personal our ceremony was. I highly recommend Ava and Joyous Ceremonies for your special day! -

I'd only communicated with Ava by email and one phone call. Within minutes of meeting her, it felt as though I'd known her my whole life. I think the most nervous bride or groom in the world could be calmed and led to a beautiful and personal ceremony by her. She made our ceremony just what we wanted and kept us on track and on schedule without any fuss or worry. If she's not available on the day you need, I'd change the wedding date because you don't want to miss having her as your officiant! -

Ava recently officiated my and my partners wedding. She was perfect! Our ceremony was beautiful. She had never met us before, but made the ceremony seem like she had known us for years. She made it very personal! Ava your voice is extremely pleasant and soothing. -

First, Ava did a wonderful job officiating the wedding. We choose her because she was the only officiant (we interviewed 3) that wasn't super hyper and just over the top in either their demeanor, or in pricing. Her pricing was very reasonable and her demeanor on our initial meeting was relaxed, and such a relief.
I think my biggest issue is that she requires the bride and groom to bring the marriage paperwork to the wedding. Considering all the things that we had to remember on that crazy and exciting day, without any reminders from her, it did not happen. We forgot to bring the paperwork with us to the wedding venue and there was no way to back go to our house and get it in time for the ceremony. She said not to stress and that we would arrange to get it signed the next day. We had a wonderful ceremony, but no legal marriage that night! She arranged for us to meet the next day with two witnesses and sign the paperwork. We all had a good laugh that we were getting two weddings for the price of one. But It was still pretty upsetting to me and I felt like it was our fault, and the next few days when I took some time to think about it, it really was her responsibility, not ours. She should have gotten the paperwork from us days before the wedding, after we had gotten the license from City Hall. There's no way anyone is going to have the wherewithal to remember paperwork among dresses, hair, flowers, family, weather, photos, etc. Especially with not reminders.
She still did a great job with officiating the wedding and all of the guests thought her words were wonderful. But the whole night was thrown off for me. I felt like I wasn't really married and was pretty stressed that night.
Ava is an experienced and wonderful officiant, but definitely insist she find a way to get the Marriage License paperwork from you before the big day. -
