Absolutely thrilled with our choice of Marti as our wedding officiant! From our very first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and understood. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and crafted a ceremony that was truly reflective of our personalities and love story. Marti's approach is wonderfully inclusive, ensuring that our non-denominational ceremony felt meaningful and personal, resonating not just with us but all of our guests.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Marti to any couple looking for a personalized and heartfelt wedding ceremony. -

For us, the most important item was to be able to have a wedding ceremony that would demonstrate our very own inner-faith marriage, conducted in a manner that was comfortable for all our guests but most important our immediate family and us as husband and wife. Let it be known that in this case, the groom is of the Jewish faith, while the bride is of the Catholic faith. Each of us have family that are very religious while some others are not so much.
Due to the fact that we ourselves are more reform, we decided against having a rabbai or priest marry us. Through our search of officiants and screening them, once we came across Marti, we knew that we needed to reach out to inquire about availability for our date, and were eager to chat more about her services. Learning via her own website that just some of her credentials are that of an award winning toastmaster, author and has an incredible amount of experience with weddings, it was evident that Marti is definitely very qualified.
Marti calls herself a Celebrant. A unique title, but a fitting one. Though Marti had been doing weddings for years, this was her first one requiring the Judaism element to be incorporated. She embraced the opportunity to take on the challenge and prove that we’ve selected the right individual for the job. One thing is certain, she nailed it out of the park. Our entire ceremony was written word for word, authored by her, with the exact amount of focus we each wanted to have with regards to religion, so as to ensure it not seem smothering, but also not too subtle.
Following the ceremony and still to this day, we continue to receive great praise on how nice our ceremony was from various family and friends that don’t even know each other. Very religious family from both sides have even complimented us on how much they enjoyed it. That right there should further support the above-and-beyond like expectations anyone will experience with Marti. -

Julee Sent on 10/08/2015Marti did a wonderful job writing and performing our ceremony. My husband and I didn't want anything religious and she was happy to make the ceremony be whatever we wanted. She gave us lots of good suggestions and helped wrangle our friends and family for the rehearsal-including my feisty dad who is a handful. Another bonus was that she was able to bring her own mics and speakers for our outdoor ceremony. It would have been impossible for our guests to hear otherwise. Her price was reasonable and she was willing to meet with us face to face to plan everything out. She did a perfect job at the most intimate part of our day. We can't thank her enough.
