    The Best Decision of my Wedding

    The best decision I made for my wedding was hiring Joy n' Company. Colleen was a true gem throughout the entire process and made it feel so stress-free and enjoyable. On the day-of, I did not have to lift one single finger and she had my back the entire day. I could not be any happier!

    I’ve been wanting to share my experience for some time now. In May 2024, I got married and chose to hire Joy N’ Company to coordinate my wedding. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly professional and attentive to my needs. Colleen, my dedicated wedding coordinator, was nothing short of amazing! She took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life with precision. Every detail was meticulously planned, which allowed me to relax and enjoy my special day without any worries. I am truly grateful for her support and expertise throughout the entire process!!

    Impeccable!

    If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, think again. Joy n' Company will have your back 1,000%. It is absolutely possible to have a wedding without a single hiccup... so long as you work with Joy n' Company.

    We had the incredible opportunity to work with Rachel for our San Clemente Casino wedding last weekend and it could not have been more perfect thanks to her expertise. She worked with us several months before the event and coordinated every single minute-by-minute detail, communicated with our vendors on our behalf, and was extremely gracious and positive throughout the process. Rachel is an incredibly organized powerhouse, and she truly understood our vision -- so we knew from the jump that we were in good hands.

    From the initial planning stages to the day-of coordination, she went above and beyond, handling everything seamlessly. Our guests (and most importantly our mothers) haven't stopped raving about how beautifully everything flowed, and we were able to fully enjoy our day without any stress. It is clear that Rachel cares about her clients and loves what she does. We will be recommending her to everyone for years to come.

    Truly a Joy

    People always say a wedding is one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do and that it will always have issues and totally chaotic. Nothing could be further from the truth for us. All of my guests and my husband and I said one of the highlights of our day was that everything flowed so effortlessly and smoothly! That’s all thanks to Rachel and her partner! It truly was one of the best experiences working with Rachel! ♥️

    Joy n' Company is the best wedding partner!

    We were so fortunate to work with Rachel for our wedding!

    Every single box across the board was checked from preplanning conversation, to asking the important but potentially overlooked questions, all the way to the day. My wife and I got to fully enjoy the day with our family and friends instead of worrying about any of the logistics day of from vendors, to ensuring people were in the right place at the right time.

    I could not recommend a better partner to work with for what I would consider one of the most CRITICAL pieces of your wedding team to ensure that your day goes as perfectly as it can!

    Rachel is the BEST !

    Rachel was so incredibly helpful organizing our vendors and was in constant communication with us through a million adjustments leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day Rachel and her assistant were on point and we could not have gotten through the day without them. Adjusting to the flow of the day, giving great advice & suggestions, she made everything seamless and easy for us. We wholeheartedly recommend her ! (Venue was Serra Plaza)

    Rachel - One of the Best in the Business

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Rachel, a wedding coordinator who played an instrumental role in making our special day a success. From start to finish, she was professional, attentive, and incredibly organized, ensuring that every detail of the event was handled with care and precision.

    Rachel went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding went smoothly. She worked tirelessly to coordinate with all of our vendors, ensuring that everyone was on the same page and that everything was running according to schedule. She was always available to answer our questions and provided us with regular updates to keep us informed throughout the planning process.

    On the day of the wedding, Rachel was a true lifesaver. She was there from the beginning, making sure that everything was set up and ready to go. Throughout the event, she was constantly on top of everything, making sure that everyone was where they needed to be and that everything was running according to plan. She was also incredibly flexible, handling unexpected issues with ease and ensuring that they were resolved quickly and efficiently.

    Michelle is Gold

    Michelle is the best! She was the wedding coordinator for both my wedding and my sister-in-laws wedding! She made everything so easy and fun! I got several compliments from vendors and guests about how kind and great she was!!! (Which means a lot because I have been in weddings with coordinators who are too bossy and just rude). Michelle shows that she can get it done with a smile and super sweet personality!

    The best!

    We cannot recommend Rachel and Joy n’ Company enough. She was the coordinator for our August 2022 wedding at Casa Romantica. Been a long ride through two rescheduled weddings due to COVID and our hesitation to have a third. Best decision we could have done is have the wedding and have Rachel be our coordinator. We were so stressed leading up to the wedding and she was the best in helping us make some decisions and give us advice. The day of was SEAMLESS. Everything and detail was PERFECT. She is so professional but also just so nice and pleasant to be around. A calming character which is what you need for a busy day! Many of our friends and family commented with the same thing. A thousand recommendations to hire Joy n’ Company for your big day. Truly worth every penny!!

    Stress-free wedding!

    We had the pleasure to working with Rachel from Joy n Company for our wedding at Giracci Vineyards on 07.30.2022.
    I started looking for a day-off coordinator pretty late (2months before the event) and I found Rachel on Giracci’s instagram stories.
    Back then, I really wanted to find someone that had worked at this venue before because the venue is really big.
    During our first call, I knew right away that Rachel was exactly what I needed: Type A personality, professional, enthusiastic, positive, organised.
    In those 2 months she seamlessly took over everything and made me think of important details I oversaw during the planning process, especially details related to the venue.
    Her goal is to make your perfect day stay perfect. She will have your back no matter what happens.
    Everyone loved her personality including families and friends.
    The day of, I was very relaxed because I knew she had everything under control.
    Honestly, she was the best investment in our budget. I would recommend Rachel over and over. She is excellent at what she is doing. She will make your life easier and stress free so you can enjoy your special day!

    All I can say is WOW! Rachel Salas is absolutely amazing and made our wedding day and wedding process so much easier. We had our wedding on July 23, 2022.     Can't Do It Without Joy N Co

    My husband and I were so pleased with our experience working with Rachel at Joy 'n Company for our wedding in May 2022 at Giracci Vineyards & Farms. Their wedding coordination service was one of our most valuable purchases out of our entire wedding budget and I couldn't have imagined our experience without her.

    Rachel was professional, responsive, patient, detail oriented, and willing to go above and beyond. My Mom and I handled most of the planning process in partnership with Rachel and couldn't have asked for a better project manager and partner to bring our vision to life. She offered helpful feedback along the way to make appropriate decisions and prepare/plan accordingly. Not only is Rachel experienced and knowledgeable, but she is also well connected in the industry and local venues, which made her partnership with our other vendors (including our venue, photographer, and DJ) seamless. We have since recommended Joy 'n Company to our engaged friends and will continue to do so.     Michelle is an absolute rockstar planner

    Michelle, the owner of Joy n'Co is an absolute rockstar. As a type A personality, I was impressed by Michelle's professionalism, attention to detail, and organization. After our initial meeting I was ready to put my trust in her completely and I'm glad I did because it turns out I would postpone my wedding twice. During my two postponements, Michelle was there every step of the way. She recommended great vendors to help us make our day perfect. On our wedding day, Michelle tended to us (bride and groom) and made sure we had food, time to ourselves, and our drinks were full. On my end, our day went off without a hitch and it was absolutely perfect which really speaks volumes to what an excellent planner Michelle is. I'm sure there were some hiccups but frankly I don't know about them. Thanks Michelle for being the perfect Day Of Coordinator. As someone else who works in a job where "they never see you sweat" I really really appreciate you!!!!

    Rachel is awesome!

    My husband and I were so grateful to have Rachel from Joy n' Company as our day of coordinator! She's the sweetest person, and was very helpful/supportive and easy to communicate with. Planning a wedding is no easy task, but our planning sessions with Rachel were so efficient and straight to the point, it made everything a lot easier and less overwhelming.     Best booked service!

    I can’t say enough good things about JNC. We had the pleasure of working with Rachel as our day of coordinator but she was so much more than that, by the end of the process she felt more like a friend. Aside from her professionalism she is one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

    From start to finish Rachel was very thorough which made tidying up the details of our wedding decor and timeline easy to navigate through, even when there was something that slipped my mind Rachel made sure I remembered, there wasn’t one thing she wasn’t on top of which made for such a nice wedding experience. Being a planner in life it was nice to have someone I could fully trust to execute my dream wedding flawlessly so I could sit back and enjoy every moment... and that’s exactly what happened. Our big day went off without a hitch!

    Rachel and Joy n' Company team go above and beyond!

    My husband and I had booked The Casino San Clemente for our wedding venue and a requirement was hiring a Day of Coordinator. Being in the beginning phases of wedding planning we thought we could handle the work ourselves. Omg we are so thankful the day of coordination was required because it lead us to Joy N' Company and specifically Rachel Salas.

    Rachel ended up being the MVP for our entire wedding. Day of Coordinator is an understatement. She went above and beyond with being the organized support my husband and I needed. We constantly communicated via phone and email, while also having three in-person meet ups. Rachel was awesome in preparing a schedule for the big day, estimating how long each portion would take, and providing room arrangement ideas among other planning strategies. She was easy to work with, super friendly, had a positive attitude even with curveballs we brought, and she was always quick to respond.

    Well the weekend came and it all ran perfectly! The day prior to the wedding Rachel even met up with us to scoop up decorations, signs, table arrangements, photos, desserts, games we had custom prepared for the wedding. She insisted it would be taken care of and that to relax and focus on prep for your special day! Seriously, top class customer service and generosity. On our wedding day Rachel brought Emily to assist and they both worked so well with all our vendors to make The Casino San Clemente look and feel grand. Because we didn't do a rehearsal dinner, she even found time in the schedule to rehearse with all parties who were part of the ceremony. Everything went better than expected and we ended up always being ahead of schedule. My husband and I truly had a wonderful time throughout the day and never had to stress about anything. All of this is thanks to the amazing work of Rachel Salas and Joy n' Company!

    Best planner ever!

    Michelle makes all of the wedding dreams come true!!! We had a destination wedding in Palm Springs, CA and Michelle was the best sounding board and cheerleader every step of the way! Her organization paired with her "all is good" attitude made the entire planning process a total breeze. Her execution was impeccable the day of while still making sure I was okay :) Having such confidence in our planner gave us all an amazing sense of peace! We are so thankful for Michelle and her talents--we wish we could do it all over again. Best day of our lives!!!!

    Best vendor ever!

    We had the pleasure of having Rachel as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding this past month. It's hard to believe that we only had her for day-of, because she truly went above and beyond. We had several guests comment on how smoothly the ceremony & reception went and how well everything ran. We know from planning with Rachel behind the scenes that this was very largely thanks to her! We planned our OC wedding from across the country in NYC, and Rachel made everything seem doable and seamless. She paid attention to the smallest details that we wouldn't even know to think of, from start to finish. She also was great with our families, which included two nervous little flower girls. We could not recommend Joy n' Company enough!

    Michelle was the absolute best!

    I have to admit, I didn't really have a wedding vision or know all of the details that go into a wedding before we got engaged. After finding our venue (The Villa), we immediately booked the complete package with Joy n' Company and Michelle Searles was the absolute best. We met in person about one year before our wedding day and she was available via phone, email, and texts throughout the entire process. She gave the best advice and referred us to amazing vendors. Truly, without Michelle and her team, our wedding-planning process and wedding day would not have been as smooth and magical as it was. It was so much work, but her support made it realizable and an absolute joy. Honestly, I can't think of one negative thing that happened with any vendor because of her excellent referrals and teamwork with other vendors! We had a dream team to the max, and feel so grateful for Joy n' Company and their genuine passion for making it the best day ever for couples.

    Simply amazing!!

    Michelle was our day-of coordinator when we got married at the Villa SJC this past month of September. We LOVED her and she is simply FANTASTIC. Even though technically she was our “day-of coordinator” she went above and beyond and was a HUGE part of our wedding planning. We cannot imagine our wedding planning without her, and it took a lot of the stress out of wedding plan knowing we were in such good hands.

    Michelle has the unique potent combination of being someone who is extremely experienced, reliable and responsive WHILE after all these years maintaining her passion and contagious enthusiasm and positivity. She was patient and responsive to all our questions, and was able to be flexible and supportive of our vision, while also providing guidance. She also has an organized system down for all the wedding day-of items so nothing falls through the cracks. As someone myself who is known to be detail-oriented, it was such a RELIEF knowing that someone else has all the details covered to focus on the many other components of wedding planning.

    Going with Joy n’ Company for our wedding planning and having Michelle as our coordinator was one of the best decisions and blessings of our wedding planning, and we cannot thank her enough. Simply amazing!!

    Takes all the stress out of the day!

    I wasn't planning to have a wedding coordinator but our venus required one. We found Miya with Joy N Co and she truly made the process of planning our wedding (from 3000 miles away) and the running of the day's events a breeze. She had great ideas and suggestions and is just he nicest woman. The comment was made over and over that ours was the most chill and laid back wedding people had attended - I give Miya the credit for this. She helped me with every detail so that on the big day, I had no concerns and could fully enjoy every minute. She is worth every penny.

    Wow to this team!

    My husband and I recently got married at the Villa San Juan and used Joy n' Company for our day of planning. We could not have been happier with our decision, as Rachel look care of every possible detail from start to finish with a smile on her face! Although we only used Joy n' Company for the day of, Rachel made herself accessible throughout the entire planning process. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and seamless coordination skills make this team hard to beat. Wishing we could do it all over again to work with this amazing team!

    I would choose Joy n Company over & over again!

    I got married at The Villa in May 2019 & Rachel was our day-of-coordinator. They call it a day-of-coordinator, but Rachel's work went far beyond a day. We met with Rachel 3 times prior to the wedding to iron out all of the wedding details & each time we met I was amazed by Rachel's level of detail and organization. There was not a single detail left unnoticed.

    The week leading up to my wedding, I was devastated to see that the forecast predicted rain on our wedding. Rain meant a lot of changes at this venue so I was FREAKING OUT. Luckily, Rachel and the team at The Villa had it all figured out. They kept me calm throughout the process, communicated with the vendors to make the necessary changes, and the day ended up being absolutely beautiful. Despite a little rain, I did not have the slightest bit of stress on the day of the wedding and this was largely due to Rachel!

    If you think you can do it yourself, or have someone else do your day-of-corrdinating for you, I would suggest you don't go that route. Rachel and her team know the Villa from the inside out & they are the best people for the job.     Best decision of our wedding!

    My husband and I just got married in April at The Villa San Juan Capistrano and are SO grateful to have worked with Rachel and the team at Joy N Company. Our engagement was 1 1/2 years and throughout the entire process, Rachel made us feel totally comfortable, relaxed and excited for our big day. You always hear horror stories of brides + day-of stress, and that couldn't be further from the truth. Everything was PERFECT and now I'm begging my husband to renew our vows every year so we can work with Joy N Company again! ;)

    Best coordinator ever!

    I got married in December 2018 at Ole Hanson, and I cannot say enough AMAZING things about working with Michelle and Joy n' Company! From our very first interaction, Michelle took all the stress out of planning our wedding. She ensured we were on track with our vendors, timelines, decorations, etc. and made sure we thought of every detail before the big day. She had brilliant ideas and solutions when we needed them, and I trusted her judgment implicitly when it came to decision making on our behalf.

    Michelle was a dream to work with on our wedding day! Her sweet and calming demeanor make her the most perfect coordinator. She is 100% organized and efficient, yet is totally attentive to her bride and groom at all times.

    Not only was Michelle the absolute best for all things coordination, she also helped tremendously with decor and bring my vision to life. I shared two photos of a sweet moment before guests arrived where she took me to see the finished product her and her team pulled together. Tears of JOY!     A Dream Come True!

    My wife and I got married in September on the beach in Dana Point. We hired Joy N Company to coordinate our wedding and boy was that the best decision we could’ve made!! Michelle Searles was beyond what we could’ve ever imagined as far as coordinating went. She went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was a dream come true, and that it was! Everything went so smoothly and perfect, we couldn’t have been happier! Her positive energy and encouraging words the entire process was exactly what we needed!     Best Money Spent

    I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the amazing girls that make up Joy n' Company!

    I was lucky enough to have Michelle as my day of coordinator and Emily as my florist, and she was also there to take over the rehearsal because Michelle was coordinating another wedding.

    The two of them worked seamlessly together and were both at my venue walk-through going over every detail with me to ensure my day was perfect.

    I can honestly say, with out a doubt, that getting a coordinator is THE BEST MONEY SPENT for your wedding day. I did not have one single care in the world leading up to the wedding or the day of. It was all handled so professionally and expertly by Michelle and Emily. I recommend Joy 'n Co to every bride planning a wedding in Southern California. They are the best and also SO FUN!

    Unforgettable :)

    I recently got married at The Villa SJC this past September and I couldn't have done it without Michelle from Joy n' Company. She such a sweetheart and is your advocate during the process.

    I was hesitant and speculated at first when we found out that the venue had a fee associated to bringing in another wedding planner but after this experience...I totally get why Joy n' Company are the exclusiveley preferred in-house coordinators for the venue!

    Speaking to someone who has been the "honorary" planner for friends, family, and work events...I came from a marketing background where I need to be in control (even as a behind the scenes person). I always have a Plan A, B, C, etc. for each situation to ensure things turn out as perfect as possible, so having to hand the "baton" over was going to be a challenging, but I'm so grateful that I was able to trust Michelle who exceeded my expectations as my day of wedding coordinator.

    Michelle was on point from our first meeting to the day of execution. She listens to what YOU want while looking out for your best interests in any recommendations she offers. She is organized, reliable, patient (I had a million questions!), and most importantly...her positive energy is contagious and what you need to surround yourself with especially during this time that can be so stressful.

    In a nutshell...she's a go-getter and basically knows what she is doing so you are in good hands with her.

    Truly a joy and beyond worth it

    My wedding was in October 2018 at the Casino San Clemente, with Joy n' Company providing day-of coordination.

    This is truly the best wedding decision I made! Miya Carew was our coordinator and she was with us every step of the way. She proactively set up calls with us and came prepared with to do lists and questions we hadn't even thought of before. As soon as we would get off the phone with her, I would see emails coming through from Miya to other vendors keeping things moving and correct.

    Miya also had great suggestions for connecting us with other vendors in the area, ideas for decorating, how to structure the ceremony and reception, and how to keep all the various pieces on budget. Honestly, I don't think we could have pulled this all together without her!

    On the actual day of the wedding, she had everything running like clockwork. I really didn't worry about a single thing. They say every wedding has at least one thing go wrong, but I can't think of anything that did, and that's all thanks to Miya and the other wonderful vendors working the event! She made it so we could just enjoy the day with no stress. If you're looking for someone who will take charge, not let anything slip through the cracks, have beautiful ideas, and also is just an all-around nice and wonderful person, you can't go wrong with Miya and the entire Joy n' Company team!

    Best value for a fantastic support team!

    Rachel from Joy n' Company was simply the best!! I plan corporate events for a living, so I was tough on everyone I interviewed for our wedding. From day one, Rachel was organized and communicated expectations and timing clearly with us. As a planner, it was hard for me to give control to another person, but Rachel made me comfortable that everything was being handled properly.

    Joy n Company's prices are fair, the quality of service is extremely high and the execution of our wedding was perfect. Both of my parents were impressed with Rachel's level of professionalism and decided to reimburse me for the services that I was planning to pay out of pocket.

    As someone who already had her vision "planned" in my head, Joy n' Company was exactly what I needed in a coordinator. They were very helpful throughout the planning process and the 2 weeks before were SEAMLESS. I didn't make one phone call or send one email to a vendor - they handled everything.     Michelle was our coordinator for our wedding at the Villa SJC and she is phenomenal. I had several people pull me to the side during wedding and tell me how well run the wedding was and how smoothly things went. Michelle is a genuinely kind person and always makes you feel like anything you need is no problem at all. She is spot on with wedding timelines - our wedding ran like clockwork. We never were hungry, without a drink, and every time I turned around and needed something she somehow had a sixth sense and would be there already. She’s incredible and so sweet. Worth every penny spent and I would highly recommend her business to anyone looking for a worry free wedding.

    We contracted day of coordination with Joy n' Company for our wedding at the Villa San Juan Capistrano. We had 3 prep meetings/phone calls with Rachel, with the first one scheduled over 9 months in advance of the wedding. She was truly a pleasure to work with. From Day 1, we felt that we could trust her. She seemed to always respond to emails within 24 hours and when she was out on a European vacation, her counterpart Michelle filled right in to answer our questions.

    During all the wedding craziness, trust me when I say that Rachel is somebody that you want with you! Even at 7 months pregnant, she was cool as a cucumber and coordinated everything without a hitch. Rachel is a rockstar!

    We felt overwhelmed and anxious with the thought of having to plan all the big and small details of our wedding. We thought we could handle it on our own. When it became too stressful, someone suggested we give Rachel and her team a call. They were incredible! Working with Rachel felt like working with a trusted friend or family member.     My wife, Marci and I used Joy n' Company for our recent wedding at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano and we couldn't of been more thrilled with the effort and results of the wonderful team and in particular Rachel.

    From the very beginning the team at Joy n' Company made us feel special and like we were their only clients. Rachel always listened and made sure she understood what we wanted and made recommendations or offered her opinion. She did nor force us to use someone if we didn't feel comfortable.

    Every single detail was documented and double checked with us getting closer to the wedding and there is not a single thing that we could say didn't go well. Every detail was perfect and our wedding was so magical and many people said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The Villa is magical and so intimate and they have chosen the best wedding coordinator in the business as far as we are concerned.

    They were proactive and followed up on every element of the wedding. Rachel is a super woman and has the best bed side manner :). As everyone knows, weddings are like putting on a musical and there a lot of emotions to deal with, and Rachel deserved a Tony Award for Direction of our magical wedding!

    My husband and I were married at The Villa SJC this spring and Michelle was our day-of coordinator. She was professional, warm and knowledgeable. We appreciated her guidance along the way and definitely received more than just day-of organization. Michelle communicated with us between meetings and phone calls and was always happy to help.

    Michelle did a wonderful job bridging the bridal party at our rehearsal. By the day of the wedding, we felt comfortable knowing what to expect. It set us at ease having her there. Michelle is PURE sunshine and EXACTLY the person you want to have make sure your wedding day is absolutely perfection!     Matthew and I had the honor of having Michelle as our coordinator at the Villa San Juan Capistrano.

    If you are like me, through your wedding process you appreciate a vendor when their email responses are truly enthused about your wedding, open to giving recommendations and are flexible – that’s Michelle.

    Through our planning and with each point of contact with Michelle, she was quick to respond and furthermore made you EXCITED and made it FUN. Not every vendor we had made us feel that way and we were thankful for her.

    Michelle was SO thorough. You can tell she is experienced by her questions and her recommendations to make the flow of your wedding even better. She provides a MASTER timeline/breakdown of your wedding which was so helpful for all our vendors and our family members. We had a few last minute changes the day before our wedding and she had everything down without skipping a beat.

    Come our wedding day, our bridal party and family was on a first name basis with Michelle. EVERYONE was complimenting her. I did not have to worry about one thing and trusted her. She understood our vision and made it happen and come to life. Not to mention, if you are going to have someone in close contact with you and your closest family and friends on your wedding day you want to have someone that you’ll enjoy their presence and IS COOL, that’s Michelle.

    If we had to do it again, we would pick Michelle every time.

    Working with Joy n' Company was an absolute "JOY"! My husband and I got married at The Casino in San Clemente this past February and Joy n' Company was at the top of their list for recommended wedding coordinators. After a wonderful intro call with Michelle, talking through the vision for our wedding and all of the other fun details, I knew Joy N Company was the right choice!

    I am an Event Planner myself so I decided to take on most of the planning and hire Michelle for my "Day of Coordinator." Not only was she a rockstar on the day of our wedding, but she was a huge help leading up to it. I From the moment we first connected, Michelle was on top of every single detail and handled everything like an absolute pro! She kept detailed lists and made sure to follow up after each call/meeting to make sure the information was correct. She also worked directly with our vendors to communicate timing and wedding day logistics, even reaching out months in advance with an initial timeline, which was a HUGE lift off my shoulders. On the day of our wedding, Michelle was at the venue early making sure the setup was on schedule and she stayed until the last guest departed, making sure everything was taken care of before we left. She put 100% in to the day and she allowed Danny and I to truly enjoy the night.

    I cannot express how valuable it is as bride to have an experienced and talented wedding coordinator like Michelle. There are a lot of things that can go wrong at a wedding, especially with all of the moving pieces and people involved. I would not have been able to get through the wedding planning process or the wedding day without Michelle by my side. Not to mention, she is a really fun person with the most incredible energy and she clearly has a genuine love for what she does. For any future brides reading this review, do yourself a favor and call Joy N Company! You won't regret it!

    Where do I even start when talking about Rachel at Joy n' Company??? When I first started planning our wedding, I (naively) thought I didn't need a coordinator, day-of or otherwise. But (thank GOD), the venue we fell in love with (The Casino San Clemente) required one. Our wedding on December 2nd, 2017 was literally my favorite day ever, and it was all thanks to Rachel at Joy n' Company. Rachel is an absolute GEM to work with. Now that it's all over, I couldn't imagine doing it all myself!!!

    When we started shopping for a day-of coordinator, I assumed that the bare-bones package would mean exactly what it's called -- day-of coordination. I don't know if this is normal, but with Rachel and Joy n' Company, that is just not so! Rachel met with us MULTIPLE times before the wedding, in person and on the phone, answered my frantic emails for months before the wedding, and honestly, by the time the wedding came around, I felt I had hired a friend to help me plan! I never felt like I was bothering her. Rachel was always there to help with guidance on whatever questions I had, motivated us to get things booked on time, and then took over communication with vendors and the schedule the week before the wedding, allowing me to relax and ENJOY it all!!

    Rachel is so organized, personable, SWEET, professional, and was always genuinely happy to meet with and see us. Everything went so so smoothly on the day of. If anything went wrong, I didn't know it. She made us, our vendors, guests, wedding party, and family feel comfortable and supported, and helped above and beyond what I realized she would help with. She was our biggest champion and knowing she was handling everything allowed me to be fully present during the best day of my life.

    Bottom line, she really seems to enjoy what she does, and she works hard to make you feel special-- everything a coordinator should be, and much much more! If you're looking for a coordinator, please look no further. Rachel is the best!!!

    Michelle at Joy n' Company helped me and my husband Garrett coordinate the wedding of my dreams. I got married in November 2017 at Franciscan Gardens in SJC. She was there for me every step of the way and gave me a tremendous amount of support through one of the toughest/happiest times of my life. She was extremely professional and kept my rowdy wedding party on track.     I can't begin to say enough great things about Michelle at Joy n' Company! She coordinated my brothers wedding, and when it was my turn there was no question on who we were going to hire to coordinate our wedding. Her attention to detail is amazing and she was always available for questions or meetings. The day of the wedding she went above and beyond and definitely made the day go by easy for us. Having Michelle with us took away so much stress which allowed us to really enjoy our day. At the end of the night Michelle had everything packed up and ready to go, seriously amazing and seamless.

    We also rented a pair of door panels from Michelle that we used to list the guest tables. I got so many compliments on the doors and writing, which she did for us.

    Joy n' Company is absolutely superb! I got married September of this year (2017) and hiring Rachel was the best decision I could have made. She is extremely organized, very thoughtful and incredibly patient and caring. During the prep, she made sure that nothing fell through the cracks. She took so much off my plate and most importantly made me feel at ease with her positive disposition and fun attitude. Because of her, my wedding day was flawless. I always had a drink in my hand, she made sure my husband and I had food and took breaks to see each other and enjoy the moment. She communicated and organized all of my vendors. I would highly recommend this company!!!

    Rachel from Joy n’ Company is the BEST at what she does! She is down to earth, friendly, organized, timely, and will make your wedding planning seamless. She made our November wedding at The Villa run so smoothly we got compliments on her and how well everything flowed the entire night. Every question or concern I had from months before to even hours before the wedding was always met with accommodating kindness and her full efforts. We absolutely loved her and would highly recommend her.

    Michelle did the best job ever as our wedding coordinator. The day ran smoothly from start to finish and not once did I have a stressful moment. As soon as I hired her she was easy to get a hold of and prompt with her replies. She is so incredibly sweet and has the energy and work ethic of 10 people. She is to thank for our beautiful wedding and I will always highly recommend her for any event.

    Joy N' Company are the best! We hired Rachel and team for day of coordination and they went above and beyond! Rachel and I met for the first time about six months out from my wedding. She asked me a ton of questions...many of them I hadn't even thought of. If you are planning your wedding you know that there are more and more details to keep track of as the day approaches. Rachel kept track of everything! After that first meeting she gave me the most detailed timeline of how the day would run...from when hair and make-up should get started to the exact moment I should be stepping into my dress. Seriously I was impressed! Rachel checked in regularly leading up to the day of the wedding. The week before she pretty much took over letting me focus on family and keeping stress to a minimum. She sent timelines to all my vendors and made sure they knew where to be and when. Plus Rachel answered every question with a smile. Our wedding went perfectly! Well...if anything went wrong I still have no idea because Rachel handled it. Thank you Joy N Co for making our special day stress free and the best day ever!

    Rachel, our entire family wanted to thank you for coordinating such a beautiful wedding day for Alyssa and Gianluca. You did a fabulous job from the rehearsal, wedding day prep, and finally the wedding itself. We didn't have to think about a thing. You had everything covered for us. I know my daughter was so pleased. She really enjoyed working with you. All of the bridesmaids had nothing but positive comments about working with you and the wedding itself. My family that flew in from out of state had a wonderful time. All in all it was just great. I really thank you for making the wedding, a day to remember forever.

    This review is long over due. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, look no further. These girls are amazing at what they do, the absolute best!
    The moment I met Rachel it felt like we had been friends for years. She is so relatable and friendly. Rachel made my wedding planning so stress free and made me feel absolutely comfortable from start to finish knowing that everything was going to be perfect! I've heard stories of people completely stressing out over every detail from decor to time management on the day of wedding. Fortunately I can't relate to this feeling because of the girls and their amazing work. She listened to what I wanted and gave me so many amazing recommendations and ideas. ? can't speak more highly about joy n company. Thanks ladies!

    I was so unbelievably happy with Joy n' Company's services! Rachel was amazing, so calm and organized and that is what you really need all throughout this process!! She was so great from the frantic calls with random questions to her vendor recommendations, to keeping me together the night before. she even helped the guys with their boutineers!! She is amazing and was a god send when meeting with our venue to make sure we had all the information we needed! I would recommend them to anyone getting married. Do yourself a huge favor and hire Joy n' Company!!!

    Robb & I wanted an outdoor Spanish wedding & the Villa was our 3rd venue out of 4 that we paid a visit to. It was by far the most beautiful, outdoorsy enough & Spanish like yet, not like a mission. Our very 1st visit with Michelle, Robb & I looked at each other like, huh? She was bubbly & fun, open & honest & most importantly, attentive even when you thought she wasn’t! This woman was, & is a detailed oriented person, which means that she can be the perfect wedding planner. We mentioned to her that I was in the middle of writing my dissertation & that Robb recently had a career change. We also explained that we wanted to be “hands off” & didn’t want to be overwhelmed with too many choices. To make a long story short, Michelle made it happen & come together in a way that made us feel comfortable & 100% sure she had everything taken care of. To this day, our family, friends & most importantly, Robb & I, feel that it was the perfect day! We had family members & friends tell us, whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, & to let things go because it can never be perfect. But, guess what, Robb I still smile & look at each other & say, we really had a perfect wedding! Ask around & see who can truly say that. You will immediately get couples complaining about the list of things that went wrong. Michelle works effectively because she has 7 years of experience & knows each one of her vendors well. Your wedding day will be perfect and you can take a step back & enjoy your day & actually soak it all in & have memories afterward. I loved her excitement, enthusiasm & individual attention to detail. I kept thinking to myself, does she really give this much energy & attention to each & every wedding? Robb & I had such life changes & heavy stress that without Michelle, there is no way our day would have worked out the way it did.  The best way to describe the work that Michelle does is to say that your day will run as smooth as a fine oiled machine. Enjoy with confidence!

    Michelle was my son and new daughter-in-law's wedding coordinator in September of this year. What a glorious and perfect day it was, but what made it even better was the fact that not one thing went wrong. Not one! Michelle's easy and friendly style belies the fact that she is supremely organized, can sweetly get even the most raucous wedding party in line and photo ready in a hot second. She is so experienced and calm that we were never worried. And that made for a fun filled wonderful day. We could all be relaxed and present which is of course the thing a bride and groom and families should strive for. And for us, so easily achieved with Michelle's steady hand.
    Besides all of her organizational skills, she is just the sweetest, most beautiful and creative girl. We feel so very lucky that our wonderful children had the great luck to have booked the lovely Michelle. She is quite simply... the best.

    Rachel and Michelle were hands down my wedding day saving grace! From keeping me calm and on time, to even steaming my veil (because lets face it, every bride forgets at least one small detail), and writing out my place cards and seating chart (Michelle has GORGEOUS Hand Writing) because I ran out of time the night before the wedding...They helped me through it all. From phone calls, to in person meetings, they helped me visualize, plan, and design our dream wedding and I am so grateful for them both. Their calm, fun, bubbly personalities were great for keeping those wedding day jitters at bay and did I mention how many of my other vendors raved about them? My makeup artist and photographer adored them...I can't say it enough, when it comes to weddings...these are your girls!!

    Michelle was amazing! She helped make our wedding day 100% stress free, and I was actually able to enjoy my special day!! She was always responsive whenever I had any questions (even while on maternity leave!), and helped adjust my timeline to fit exactly what I wanted. She took all of the wedding hiccoughs in stride, and was easy to approach with any concerns. I walked away from my wedding day without stress, well fed and imbibed, and ready to recommend Michelle to anyone who asks!
