Assisted with everything including the decor

We could not have been more lucky that Joy Manor was still available on our wedding date, after our original venue cancelled us due to covid. The owner, Theresa, was so sweet & fun to work with. She is extremely honest and you always know what to expect. She went above & beyond for us, as far as planning, decorating, even lending a helping hand when it was easier for her to do a task. We were assigned the main ballroom so that our smaller count wedding would have ample room to social distance during the pandemic. I was never in fear of an unannounced cancellation. Everything just went so smooth! All her staff was incredible & wore masks all night while they helped us.
We were supposed to be married in a barn and already had some rustic decor. Theresa had beautiful ideas on how to incorporate our theme & i think the room looked even better than expected! We truly feel that covid forced us into the wedding we were supposed to have all along! It was such a blast! Ohhh.. and the food!!!! Seriously, i am still craving that stuffed chicken, and we’re still eating the beef tenderloin leftovers.. just as juicy and tender as the wedding day! We were absolutely blown out of the water by our experience working with Joy Manor, and we got to someday get another opportunity to give them our business!

We were happy with the way our wedding ceremony and reception turned out. The hall was beautifully set up with how we wanted it decorated. The food was great. Teresa was very nice to work with and treated us well. We would use the hall again.

Joy Manor was the BEST place to have our wedding. Everyone we encountered was so helpful and kind; especially Teresa and John! We would highly recommend using Joy Manor for any occasion!

I came to Joy Manor for the reception for my second wedding reception. I used Joy back in 2006 for the first wedding to my departed first wife. Chris and Robin were fantastic. With the exception of slightly higher liqour prices due to the market, they offered me the same prices that I paid 8 years ago, you can't beat that! I shopped around and nobody could beat their prices. As with the last reception, the food and service was fabulous! They even provided table centerpieces to help me with my budget. The hall may look like nothing from the outside but has been superbly renovated inside and also provides a superb wait staff to round out the experience. I would have no hesitation in using Joy Manor again for another occasion and neither should you!

Chris robin and bea are the best. The food is amazing. Diane the bartender.... the nastiest person iv ever met! It was my wedding and she was to me. Untill shes gone ill never go back.

I had my wedding reception here last weekend, and I just wanted to say you couldn't beat the quality of service or the price. Don't be fooled when you drive by, I know the outside of the hall doesn't do it justice, it's so nice inside! The food was really good and they literally do everything for you, from the chair covers, to centerpieces, to the birdcage card box! Chris, the owner, didn't just treat us like customers but more like we had been friends for years. I recommend this place highly for your party or wedding reception!

Chris, you are outstanding! You went above and beyond my simple instructions and turned the hall into a fairy tale. Your staff were perfect the whole night. Every guest there said how that was the best wedding food they've ever had, and one guest even told me how amazing your ice cream was. I'm so thankful I had you to help throughout this experience.

I enjoyed using Joy Manor for my wedding 4/30/2011. The staff there was very helpful and not only supplied so much, but also took my vision of what I wanted and made it realistic. This place is family owned and I feel that because of that, it made my wedding reception feel a little more personal.

Joy Manor did a great job with my reception. They were very friendly from the start and very helpful throughout the whole process. Since I was a bride on a tight budget, Joy Manor was able to suit my every need. They do all thier own catering (Food was GREAT!!) and the ladies that work there also are very good at helping to decorate for you and take care of the smaller details. The only downside I had was that it's kind of a hard place to find since it's located behind another building. OVERALL I give Joy Manor an A+

I had my reception at Joy Manor, they were great! My guests loved the food, and as a bonus you get to take home any left overs! There are hardly any halls that allow that anymore. I would have my event here again.

They are very easy to work with and you get a lot for your money. They were very helpful and understanding. I felt bad for asking so many questions, but they never seemed to mind one bit! The servers were phenomenal and the food was delicious. We used the reception hall for our ceremony and it turned out perfectly. It was no extras charge, but we opted to pay for an extra 1/2 hour for our ceremony. It went perfectly!

I really recommend them if you are looking for a simple, sweet, and more inexpensive wedding. It can be made fancier if you are willing to pay, but the basics were perfectly fine with us. Check them out!

If your looking for a Venue that is elegant yet it allows you to stay within your budget I would check this place out. It looks like a whole in the wall place from the outside but that is very deceiving. Inside it has been remodeled and is very open. The Grand ballroom seats 300 people. Our wedding turned out beautifully. The manager Chris had everything in order. He knew exactly what I was looking for on my vision for a great wedding. The hall allows you to rent everything from them so seat covers, centerpieces, and card box are included in the total bill of hall. It was so nice not having to worry about some of the little things that are involved in wedding planning. The manager is very accommodating and meets the needs of the couple. It is so reasonably priced that we had top of the line liquor and great food. We had a fantastic wedding here.

The wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely perfect! Special Thanks to Chris Higgins, make sure and contact him, for a great price and good quality.
The only complaint was the Bartender, what a B! She has been since removed from the venue, but most of my guest will now remember what an awful bartend I had, which is sad and nothing I can do now!

Really the venue was perfect except for the bartender, I had complaints about watering down the drinks and refusing to change a guest drink, making beers to far a head so they were warm.

Joy Manor was awesome! The food was great, the entertainment was wonderful and they were so flexable and professional about everything! I would highly recommend them for any wedding/shower/party needs!

This venue does not offer impressive grounds. Everything I feel is made up though food and service and especially in pricing. My only complaint is that wait staff seemed to disappear later in the evening. There was also some confusion about the bar.

I had't really had too many needs or concerns leading up to the wedding date since I was very familiar with the facility (worked there from about 93-98). We originally had booked 11-7-09 and switched to the larger room, then switched to March 14 with no problems or issues. There were newer owners who then sold it to another family recently. Chris was pretty attentive and accomodating when we finalized our plans, no real complaints except that they are a little slow to respond to emails.

As I have noted before, this facility does not offer impressive grounds. It's behind the Token Lounge. However, they made up for it in food and service and especially in pricing. Jessie was our banquet manager and worked there way back when I worked there so she was a familiar face. She handled the dinner service well and everyone was served in a timely manner. My only complaint is that wait staff seemed to disappear later in the evening and they also seemed to forget to serve the later-night pizza snack. We had to remind them. I think it was supposed to come out around 11-11:30 and Dan had to find someone and remind them around midnight. I also heard complaints that the pizza was not cooked in the middle. There was also some confusion about the bar early on but that was taken care of...but Dan had to find Chris in the middle of dinner and say something.

No complaints on the food, though it wasn't as good as I remember it to be - then again it's been a long time since I worked there. We opted for the family style and guests commented on how they were offered refills on the food platters and taken care of well in that aspect, so I was pleased about that.

The staff were incredibly rude right when we entered the facility. They clearly hate their jobs and projected it towards their guests. I very much advise not to host any events here.
