We couldn't have been any more impressed with not only the amazing venue at Joullian Vineyards, but the amazing staff that kept the whole machine running! We seriously were so impressed and the staff was not only super kind, but extremely helpful with keeping a servants heart first for people. Also let's just talk about the view as well! Honestly this is a hidden gem and you have to check it out!

We had the pleasure of using Joullian Vineyards as our wedding venue. The drive out there in Carmel Valley is worth every minute! Josh was an incredible day of coordinator and allowed us to enjoy our day completely stress free! He was extremely organized and patient throughout the whole day. He played a significant role in making our wedding day everything we dreamed of! The venue itself was amazing! Being from the area, we tried really hard to find a venue that best captured the breathtaking views of the valley. We were so excited to bring all of our friends and family from out of state to enjoy the beauty with us. Not to mention the weather was absolutely perfect, which if you are from the area you know nothing beats the warmth in the valley. It was a little warm in the beginning, but Josh and his team worked quickly to ensure all of our guests were comfortable during dinner. Lastly, the bridal studio/house we used to get ready in was nicely decorated and provided a lot of space for my bridesmaids who were doing their own hair/makeup. We were able to give hair/makeup professionals enough space to work efficiently and comfortably. We will be thinking about how great this day was forever! Thank you to Josh and Joullian Vineyards for making this day so memorable!

I had such a wonderful experience at Joullian Vineyards. Josh the event manager for Joullian was helpful at every turn. Had it not been for his help in whisking the couple away at sunset to capture some amazing photos and video our final product would not be as great as it was.

Wow, where do I even start. First off, Josh is the hardest working, most genuine person and working with him was so fun. Now, the venue.. The photos do not do it justice. It is the most beautiful, serene place and the moment I saw it I knew we had to get married here. Not only does it provide endless gorgeous backdrops for your photos but your guests will end up loving it just as much as you do. We got married a week ago and I still have people reaching out telling me how incredible the venue was. It's also so private. It's just you, your guests, and the vineyard. Nothing better!

Josh is the best person to work with. He is organized, reliable and has the best personality!! He saw our vision and was able to make it come to life so beautifully. We couldn’t have done it without him. What a dream come true!! Joullian and Josh are the best!!!!

With Joullian just starting to host weddings, we wondered how smooth it would be, but man did Josh and his team deliver. Joullian gave us our dream wedding at a fair price. We can’t say enough about the incredible experience we had

We had a post engagement party at the vineyard and they made it easy to plan and enjoy! We were planning to have our wedding here as well but had to change plans due to living out of state and covid. However, while planning the wedding they were very helpful!! Would highly recommend and plan to eventually come back and plan an event when we can.

If you are looking for a Carmel Valley venue, then I would definitely recommend checking out Joullian Vineyard. With its epic views of the vineyard and surrounding hills, it is a beautiful retreat for you and your guests on your wedding day.

The site coordinator, Josh, puts his heart into every event and it shows. He is flexible, accommodating and attentive which made him a joy to work with. With Josh and his team you can rest assured that you and your guests are in good hands.

When searching for the perfect place to get married, there were a few things my husband and I had in mind. We wanted outdoor, open spaces with a few amenities on hand and the flexibility on not having a preferred vendor list. When we contacted Joullian Vineyards and asked for the days of availability, Josh was more than helpful in getting us started in booking such a beautiful place. Although it was quite the drive up for most of our guests, every single guest commented on the beautiful surroundings were as we all celebrated our special day. Our guests had plenty a little spots to gather during cocktail hour and our reception. Getting to see friends and family post pictures the next day and seeing the landscape in the back was one of the best parts of watching our guest enjoy themselves on our special day.

Working with Josh was great from the start. I think in the whole process from start to finish I rarely got a “no” from him. He’s ability to make what I had in my head, as a perfect proposal a reality was amazing. The best part of it was he always made me feel like family so that it was least stressful to me. I’d recommend anyone looking to get married or do their proposal to work with Josh and utilize Joullian Vineyards amazing property for their event.

Joullian is a gorgeous venue - the views are unparalleled and it feels amazingly private and serene. If you are looking for a vineyard wedding with views, this is the place for you. You can truly customize this venue - it is a blank slate for your aesthetic and vision and the sky is the limit. It is worth the drive once you are there with a glass of wine in hand! They are a newer venue, and definitely growing into weddings - so sometimes there are bottlenecks. Combined with being a blank slate for your vision, you'll definitely want to prepare to see the details of your vision through, but it is worth it. As they grow and hit their stride, this will be one of the best venues in Carmel Valley without a doubt. I would recommend working with a planner, especially as there are so many details you can maximize here and it helps to have someone managing that for you. If you are someone who needs attention and help with details, your vendor team will be key to making things go smoothly. Communication and follow-through with their event manager is, so having someone else in your corner is useful to manage the planning process in partnership with the venue. I know that they are working on building their team though, and the rest of their staff is responsive and takes pride in Joullian. When you connect with the right people, you can tell that they take the growth of the vineyard seriously and want to drive its success. One thing I would also flag is preparing yourself for some outside costs. One surprise for us was transportation - and this is at no fault of Joullian, but if you're going to rent a bus (which you should!), that can cost upwards of $6,000 on top of everything else. I truly believe that as Joullian continues to finesse their offering as an event space, this will be a top venue in Carmel Valley. If you're planning a wedding here (or thinking about it), you will have the most beautiful day!

The vineyard view is beautiful and was the selling point when my fiance and I picked out this venue. When we signed the contract we knew the vineyard was new to hosting weddings but we hoped for the best. Unfortunately, we had a lot of challenges. Most of the time when communicating by email we would go 5-10 days without hearing back and we'd have to reach out multiple times. We felt like our wedding was not a priority. The venue seemed to over-promise and under-deliver when it came to site renovations. On the day of the wedding itself we paid an extra $500 for set up, but it was moving slow and getting done incorrectly which resulted in our family members having to move barrel tables and umbrellas themselves. The bathroom facilities were dirty and the house where the bridesmaids got ready didn't have a garbage can. Our venue choice came down to Joullian or Holman Ranch and I can tell you that Holman Ranch would have been 100% more organized and stress free. Ultimately, we chose the views which we still enjoyed- just wish the service was better.
