If you are looking for a photographer - LOOK NO FURTHER!!! While looking for a photographer we had narrowed it down to four, with Josh being one of them. We looked through each photographers portfolio, but found ourselves going back to Josh's. Once we realized that we were comparing the other photographers work to Josh's, we knew that we had to choose Josh.
From the moment I contacted Josh, I knew that we had chosen the right photographer to capture our daughters wedding. Not only are his credentials impeccible, he was organized and and made everything seamless and we NEVER worried. From the very beginning, Josh was prompt in answering all of our emails and took the time to answer all of our questions. Due to COVID, we had to postpone the wedding a year and Josh was very understanding and sympathetic and had no issue with moving the date out. On the day of the wedding, he and his wife Nicole spent the entire day/evening making sure to not only capture every moment, he was also able to get all of the shots that we had requested. He took our vision and brought it to life and we couldn't be more grateful.
Twenty minutes before the wedding was to begin, Josh impressed us again when we were informed that the DJ had not shown up. Through all the chaos, panic and tears, Josh made the unfortunate situation bearable with his jovial personality and his positive energy and warmth. Both he and his wife Nicole were very approachable and made everyone feel at ease.
Despite capturing weddings for over 20 years, we were amazed by his continued passion and excitement. He is immensely skilled and creative – don’t expect a checklist of cliché wedding photos with Josh, he has true vision and is not just a guy going through the motions. Josh looks to capture your unique story through his artistic lens. Josh is not just a photographer, he is an artist. His work is timeless and his ability to use light to capture different elements of a scene is a talent that cannot be learned - it is truly a gift.
Overall, Josh managed to capture EVERY aspect of our daughters special day. We were mesmerized by the sneak peek images we received just days after the wedding and we cannot wait to see more. We are blown away by his ability to capture the true essence of who Nina and Caleb are as a couple, as well as as individuals. We were very lucky to have Josh as a part of our daughters wedding day. We were most impressed with his ability to convey their story; he captured every moment as if he'd had been a part of their lives forever. We could not be happier with the results. Any couple looking to truly tell their story needs to look no further than Josh Sailor!!! -

Josh and his team were amazing! I nearly screamed when I saw the photos and videos. All through the day Josh was right there where I wanted him: happy, helpful and full of ideas. He treated everyone with such respect and professionalism (which isn’t easy with my family.) My guests were complimenting me on hiring him. He is an altogether wonderful photographer. I can’t say enough about him! -

Josh is amazing!
Josh was wonderful. He made us feel that our big day was his top priority. He made me (the bride) feel comfortable that he knew exactly what I wanted and that my photos were in good hands. The pictures were amazing. They captured the happiness in the air. All of our special moments are now just a page turn away. Thank you Josh! -

Easy to get in touch with. Flexible to meet with. He is absolutely phenomenal. Amazing photos and amazing service. I never felt this confident with a photo of me. All of my guests, including ourselves, were super impressed by his ability to blend in with the crowd and capture so many quality pictures at our wedding. 100% recommend -

Josh Sailor has a one of a kind artistic talent that is obvious from his photos. If you want a photographer who exceeds the normal then Josh is your man. He is friendly, funny, and easy to work with under pressure. -

While Mr. Sailor does take beautiful photos, my issue was with his timeliness and professionalism. My engagement photos were received the week of my wedding (two days before) and were unable to be used for my wedding invitations due to their late arrival. My photo shoot was October 16, and I didn't receive the bulk of my engagement photos until after Christmas for a December 31st wedding.
My wedding photos took nearly a year to receive, were delivered incomplete, and my wedding package (that was over $3500 and paid up front) was to include a wedding video, edited photos, a large print for my wall and a wedding album. My photos started to trickle in approximately seven months after our wedding, which is twice the industry standard. When I pressed the matter, I was originally told that it was because he had covid. After another few months went by he changed this story to a flood in the basement. After approximately ten months of waiting, my wedding planner suggested that I threaten legal action in order to receive what I had paid for. This resulted in receiving the remaining photos (unedited), a one minute video of a party guest dancing on the dance floor, and a wedding album with unedited photos and the label of "new years" with the wrong wedding date. I did finally receive our wall print approximately 8 months after our wedding, but it was a nice print.
When my concerns were brought to his attention he resorted to insulting me personally both regarding my appearance and mental faculties. Additionally, he took it upon himself to communicate with my employer in an attempt to defame my character. If anyone would like a copy of all of these emails, I will submit them for your review. Given Mr. Sailors erratic behavior, continual cotton mouth, difficulty with focus during conversations, and unprofessional behavior, etc it is my belief as a medical professional that he is the one in need of counseling. While he does take beautiful photos, there may be a significant delay in receiving them, and he may resort to insulting you and interfering with your career if you try to hold him accountable. -
