- Perfect music and timing during our ceremony
- Phenomenal job as our Master of Ceremony during our dinner. All of the speeches went off without a hitch.
- BROUGHT THE HEAT to our reception! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Josh did so well mixing our eclectic requested songs. We have received non-stop compliments about how much fun everyone had at our wedding, all of this was thanks to Josh!
The setup he brought was far above what you've come to expect from typical wedding DJ's. Great lights, great sound, GREAT vibes! His communication was also impeccable all month leading up to the wedding. We had no doubts going into our special day that we made the right decision.

We planned our ceremony very quickly, and unfortunately Josh was unavailable. However, he went above and beyond to help us find arrangements to fulfill our wishes. Luke Bellet was amazing on the guitar down by the river before and after the ceremony, and our guests loved his vocals with the guitar during cocktail hour. Andrew Halliday was the most interactive and incredible DJ. He had the dance floor packed until the very end of the evening, and he entertained our guests of all ages. We were so happy with their services and highly recommend them for any event. They were responsive, professional, and went with the flow of the evening. -

We were really looking forward to Josh’s performances as singer and DJ, and he exceeded our expectations. He knew the mood we wanted to set and he nailed it!!
His acoustic renditions during the cocktail hour and dinner were excellent, especially “Simply The Best”. Then his covers during my wife’s dance with her father- “Stand By Me”- and mine with my mother- “My Wish”- were beautiful.
Finally, the playlist he curated during the reception was PERFECT. He read the room exactly right and knew what we wanted to hear. The night ended with an unbelievable streak of Bohemian Rhapsody>Unwritten>Opalite>Mr. Brightside>Love Story.
Everyone should hire Josh for any event, and also just be his friend! -

Working with Daniel was, without exaggeration, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He is truly exceptional, and we could not be more grateful for the experience he created for us.
Not only was Daniel a fantastic DJ who listened carefully to everything we asked for, he also knew exactly how to read the room, keep the energy flowing, and get the crowd engaged. He honored our music requests perfectly while still creating an incredible atmosphere throughout the entire event.
What truly sets Daniel apart, though, is his live piano and vocals. His voice is absolutely stunning — angelic, emotional, and beautiful. He sang live for our first dances with our mom and dad, including a dance between the bride and her mom, and those moments were incredibly special. Having those dances performed live made them deeply personal and unforgettable. He delivered each song with so much care and talent, and the results were breathtaking.
Daniel also sang live throughout dinner and the meal service, which elevated the entire evening. His piano playing was flawless, and his vocals were so smooth and professional that several guests genuinely thought the music was a recording — they were shocked to learn it was live. His musicianship added an elegant, intimate feel that completely transformed the event.
Beyond his talent, Daniel is simply a joy to work with. He is kind, professional, and incredibly easygoing. He scheduled calls with us whenever we needed, remembered every detail we asked him to keep in mind, and was always flexible, responsive, and accommodating. We felt fully supported and completely confident in him from start to finish.
Daniel didn’t just provide music — he elevated our entire wedding and made it feel truly beautiful and special. We would happily work with him again in a heartbeat and would absolutely recommend him — and anyone from his agency — to anyone planning an event.

Josh was amazing. I booked him because I wanted a mix of live music and a DJ and I truly couldn’t imagine our day without him! I was so busy and stressed with work leading up to my wedding I honestly barely had time to coordinate with him before hand other than filling out his thorough questionnaire and he nailed it-0 questions asked. Not only is he extremely talented, but he has a natural ability to connect with people - we had SO many guests share glowing feedback about his music and how nice it was to talk to him. Throughout the course of the day he seamlessly transitioned from acoustics for ceremony and cocktail hour to MC to DJ. He even learned our first song to play live - in a matter of weeks! Luke Bellet, found through Josh Klaus, played guitar for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and I could not recommend him more! He went above and beyond to learn a very special song for the two of us to be played as our processional piece. He was very responsive, we had several chats during the planning process to make plans together and to help me with any questions I had along the way. Besides just being an all around friendly guy, he is a great musician and really made us feel excited over the pieces we chose! He was also wonderful in helping set up the microphone for our officiant and for some separate readings we had during the ceremony. Highly, highly recommend!! -

If you're looking for a kind, personable and extremely talented artist to play at your wedding, Josh is your guy! Our wedding planner, Danny at Hummingbird House, recommended Josh right off the bat, citing him as one of the best musicians in Austin to work with. Our communication with Josh was enjoyable, and his responses were always timely and to the point. Josh arrived early to set up on our wedding day and provided a very calming, joyful presence to our special day. He performed at the ceremony and cocktail hour, all songs I picked off of his song list that were absolutely amazing! Our guests all loved him and were so impressed by his talent - as was I. My only regret is not having him stay longer. I would highly recommend having Josh at your wedding! -

We had no idea that you could get the best of both worlds - live music and a DJ set - in one vendor, but we came across Josh and the rest was history. It was important to us that our musician understood the vibe throughout the whole day, as we are not a particularly "dance-y" couple and didn't want anything to feel forced. Josh's ability to set the right tone at every step of the way us unparalleled: from soothing and romantic vocals before the ceremony, to a beautiful "pre-speeches" speech, to an upbeat DJ set that kept our most energetic guests wildly entertained, the vibe was perfect the whole day. Something to especially highlight is how he played a mix of songs that got both older and younger crowds on the dance floor; we loved looking over and seeing guests of all ages having a great time. Plus, he'll learn any song acoustically that you want for an extremely nominal fee, so we asked him to learn our processional song, which was absolutely beautiful. On top of all of his skills, he's also just a blast to be around and SO responsive - we actually thought the response we got from him when we first submitted an inquiry was automated because the turnaround was so fast! We received so many compliments about Josh, and we are so grateful he made the night as enjoyable for our guests as it was for us! -

I am a wedding planner (Bluebonnet Collective) and my clients and I hired Josh for both his live music and DJ services - I could not have been more impressed with our experience working with Josh. First of all, he is truly so talented and a joy to work with. His acoustic set for happy hour and for part of the dinner service was stunning. His DJ and MC skills were top notch and he has the dance floor vibing at all times.
Not only was Josh great to work with day of, but he was also extremely helpful and communicative ahead of the big day. He helped my clients with song selection, guided them through some do's and don'ts based on his experience, and was great and listening and respecting their vision for their big day.

I could not recommend Josh enough for your wedding, or any event really. He is such a personable guy and amazing musician. We asked him to come to our New Orleans wedding after hearing him at a friend's Austin wedding. Josh felt like a wedding guest and vendor at the same time, in the best way! Both his acoustic set and DJ set are amazing, we got so many compliments from guests. My husband and I felt like he played the perfect DJ set personalized to us, but also played songs to please the crowd, while also respecting our requests (no line dances, etc). He had everyone dancing all night, and he even joined the dance floor at one point! We could not recommend him enough if you are looking for your music to be one of the most memorable parts of your wedding. He was also very easy to work with leading up to the wedding, organized, responsive, but also easy to arrange his requests. We love Josh! -

Josh was not only our DJ but he played guitar and sang for our ceremony and cocktail hour. This is the DJ you want, I'd book him while you can!
The City of Austin Director of Music recommended him and now we know why. He made the wedding reception/dinner/dancing so much fun with his energy and he has an amazing voice. He ticked all the boxes and does it on his own: Plays music, sings, DJs, MCs, sets up in multiple locations, and just brings amazing energy to the event.
I still have so many people reaching out saying how great he was and if they can get his contact information. He also learned a song for one of our first dances in a couple weeks.
On top of all of this you'd think he'd be a fortune to book, but he is more than reasonable. -

I really don’t even know where to start or have the words to describe how perfect hiring Josh for our wedding weekend was. I wanted something fun and different for music for our ceremony and after looking at all options I couldn’t get the elegance and calmness of Josh’s voice and music out of my head. I knew I needed him to sing for our ceremony. He was so incredibly easy to work with and took all of our requests and accommodated. He was fun and felt like our biggest fan throughout the weekend! He made us feel like this wasn’t just another wedding for him and he actually was excited to be there and make magic for our day. When planning our rehearsal dinner we were trying to figure out did we just want to make a playlist or have someone there to dj/emcee speeches. tl;dr - Stop looking for other entertainment vendors and just book Josh. Just do it. Hell, book your entire wedding around him - he's worth it! I found Josh in a roundabout way.
I was looking for a signage vendor, and one vendor I was interested in had Josh perform at her own wedding. After looking at a few videos, I was VERY intrigued. I had already reached out to a handful of DJs, but I knew that the combination of acoustic performance + DJ services would be perfect for our wedding. This is also very unique, from what I can tell, and helps bridge the gap between a typical DJ and a full-on band, the latter of which may not be desired for certain reasons, including budgetary ones.
Josh responded quickly and after a phone call, we were all set. He was extremely amenable to our need to reschedule our wedding due to F1 (boo!), which we really appreciated. As wedding time approached, he was very responsive and helpful in terms of both guiding us in making any final entertainment decisions, but also listening to what we were looking for.
On the day of the wedding, from our perspective, everything went perfectly. Josh performed acoustic for our pre- and post-ceremony cocktail hours, as well as for the processional and dinner. He then DJ'd our first dances and the reception. He also provided MC services throughout, and he did so with aplomb. He brings a spectacular energy to the dancefloor, which we loved because we had a more "elder millennial" crowd who needs more liquid courage to get the dance moves going. I can't tell you how many people complimented Josh to us on the night of the wedding and afterward - he has been, by far, the most reviewed vendor we had. He is also just really nice and really fun, which is important for a wedding team.
SO... just do it! Book Josh! You won't regret it and your wedding will be better for it! -

THE best musician out there!
Josh was an absolute star at our wedding! I knew Josh was the musician for us when I first talked to him on the phone as we hit it off immediately. His personality matched perfectly with ours and I could tell right away that he is truly passionate about performing and being a part of the most important day in the bride and groom's lives. He is talented beyond words can describe, has hundreds of songs on his playlist but will also learn others just for you, is SO intentional with not only his music but also in his speeches while he is the Master of Ceremonies, knows how to get the party going and most importantly, parties with you!!!
Josh was such an important part of our wedding day and our guests are still talking about how awesome he was! He is truly such a genuine, talented, and super fun person and we're super grateful that he was our musician. -

Best wedding singer ever!
Josh was a referral of a couple of friends of mine who had hired him for different services for their wedding days and so my now-Husband and I went to see Josh perform at a local Austin bar - he BLEW US AWAY!!! This guy is not only incredibly talented, he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! You can just tell he truly loves what he does! After his show, we introduced ourselves and asked if he had availability for our wedding date - he did, so we booked him right away! Josh is a triple threat - he was our emcee for the entire evening, DJ and sang live with acoustic guitar. How many wedding entertainers can do all 3?! He is easy to communicate with and so laid back, although he had never played at our venue before, he seamlessly worked with the sound engineer to make sure he had everything he needed prior to our wedding day. Our guests had so much fun dancing, we've been told by both our photographer and videographer teams they had never seen a wedding where no one left the dance floor all night! And that is all thanks to Josh and his incredible talent. Hire him immediately, I promise you won't regret it!! -

Perfect Sound Track
Josh was the perfect sound track to our fairytale wedding. He has one of the most beautiful voices, an extensive song list and learned a few new songs for our big day. He went above and beyond sending us a few custom recordings of our First Dance song to practice to as we took dance lessons. Our families had an absolute blast at our cocktail hour all thanks to Josh - he was taking requests and leading sing alongs. It was unplanned and absolute perfection! Beyond his musical talent Josh was responsive, professional, timely and so so kind. And to top it all off, he gave us the sweetest wedding wish at the end of the evening too. He is someone who truly loves weddings and romance. We got married in The Ozarks and Josh was 100% worth it to fly out. Thank you Josh!!! -

Josh is incredible. We heard him 4 years ago playing at the W Hotel in Austin. We asked our waitress what radio station they had on, and she pointed outside to Josh. My husband grabbed his card, and 4 years later, Josh was one of the first people we reached out to when we started planning our wedding. Josh was responsive, collaborative, creative, and beyond supportive of our dream ceremony and cocktail hour. Josh created custom acoustic versions of 2 EDM songs for me and my husband to walk down the aisle to - there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I came across Josh on Instagram and was very interested in his ability to sing wonderfully, MC, and DJ... checking off all our wishes for our big day. A few weeks later my husband and I went to see Josh preform at a local restaurant and realized we had to have him at our wedding. Josh Klaus was so amazing! Having him at our wedding was the thing my husband and I were most excited for. I first heard him at a venue open house and immediately took my then fiancé to hear him play at another gig. Booked Josh as quick as I could after that! We had him play guitar for our cocktail hour/first dance/last dance and DJ for the ceremony/reception. Having live music played for you first and last dance are just beautiful. To choose our music and have everything go smoothly he sent us a google form to send out a few weeks before the wedding. He was always very responsive by email. Now that our wedding is over our favorite thing to do is go around Austin and hear him play at different venues. -

I can't say enough good things about Josh! He played our ceremony and our cocktail hour. The guests kept coming up to me telling me how good he was. It gave the cocktail hour a more intimate feeling before the big band started after dinner. It felt like the guests got a little of everything. We booked Josh a little less than a year in advance for our wedding. Josh was everything we could’ve asked for and more! Josh handled all the logistics behind the ceremony (played guitar as people came in, brought microphones, etc.). He then played during the cocktail hour and then handled our entire reception. He DJ’d and played acoustic based on our favorite genres/a few selected songs. Josh even personalized a couple songs on the guitar based on our likes and interests. It was a perfect mix of sweet/traditional wedding songs and songs that had everyone on the dance floor. Almost the entire guest list was on the dance floor at the same time! Josh was obviously a crowd favorite. Our guests are still raving to this day about how Josh was the best performer they’ve ever seen at a wedding. Would reach out to Josh as soon as possible if you’re interested! You will not regret it. -

We hired Josh to play music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (DJ). When looking for a musician, we did not want a typical wedding DJ or band. We wanted someone who did events other than weddings. Josh caught my attention because I saw he played shows around the city at different bars and restaurants. I then listed to some of his YouTube videos of him playing and I was sold (so good)! It was such a great decision! From the get go he was very organized and thoughtful. He provided a questionnaire asking us all of the details around music for our big day. We also had a phone chat with him where we got to know him more and discussed the details of our music needs. He showed up to our wedding and was a very warm and bubbly presence. Our wedding was planned to be all outside and it happened to start pouring rain minutes before our ceremony start time. Everyone rushed to shelter and we ended up having to shift around the schedule to wait out the rain. It was a bit chaotic at first, but Josh rolled with the punches and just kept playing music with a smile on his face, keeping everyone calm and happy. For the reception we told him we wanted a middle school dance vibe and he 100% delivered. Everyone at the wedding could not stop talking about how great of a musician he was and how fun it was to hear him DJ. Even after the wedding people kept telling us how great he was! We had so much fun and loved all of the music Josh played. He even learned our first dance song so he could play it acoustically and it was perfect. I would highly recommend Josh for all of your wedding musical needs! -

Not much else to say, but WOW! Initially, we hadn't intended on having a live musician, but now (even a month after the wedding), our friends & family keep mentioning how great Josh was!
We had him setup to begin playing during eating, which didn't give him much of a crowd, but he rocked it. Then by the dances, Josh was a major focal point of the festivities!
2 things I enjoyed most about Josh (Aside from his actual singing/playing):
1. His ability to transition between songs seamlessly. We piped his playing throughout the whole venue & I couldn't find any moments when there were awkward pauses. At one point, I thought someone with phenomenal music taste had switched out the playlist being played on the Spotify.
2. His ability to incorporate what he had heard from the speeches into random ad-libs & transitions. My parents & best man got a few good jabs in (and some compliments) & Josh was able to incorporate them and give the audience a good laugh. -

Josh was such a highlight at our wedding! He performed while guests were arriving and during our cocktail hour. In addition, he even performed with my sister, the MOH, a surprise song while she played on the ukulele ! The most impressive part was that Josh learned our wedding song the week of the wedding and played it perfectly! It truly was a great and I lost count of all the compliments we got about Josh. From beginning to middle to end of our wedding journey, Josh has been a godsend! Yes, he literally saved our wedding.
We booked Josh about eight months before our big day, which was the second wedding we had to plan since the first one was cancelled due to Covid. We were able to get in touch soon thereafter and Josh immediately put us at ease by answering every single one of our questions...and we had a LOT! We knew right away that we had made the right decision.
Josh’s energy is contagious. We met up closer to the wedding day, got breakfast, and were just in awe at the passion he has for what he does. He truly, truly loves his job and that’s exactly what people should want in a DJ/Performer/Emcee at their wedding.
Thankfully, Josh is ULTRA-organized, and that made us again feel at ease because his Google Sheet that we filled out prior to our wedding encompassed every single detail of what will be covered by his services. Not a stone went unturned and he even offered to learn songs on the guitar for us for the first dance and the mother/groom dance.
And most of all, Josh is adaptable. Our wedding turned out to be NOTHING like we had planned, due to unfortunate weather. But Josh didn’t bat an eye and was able to work with us in-the-moment to make last-minute changes and literally move his gear across the entire property so that our wedding could still go on. And he did so with the most positive attitude that even though my bride and I were feeling down about the situation, we felt so much better after talking to him because we knew he had things covered. Josh went above and beyond what anyone could expect from a wedding vendor, and he truly facilitated all of the lasting memories that we and our guests took away from that night. And he stayed to party with us after the reception, which was so much fun!
We are forever grateful for Josh and the service he provided at our wedding. EVERYBODY who came was raving about Josh’s amazing voice, energy, and the selection of music he played.
We cannot recommend Josh enough for ANY type of ceremony or event. He’s the man! -
