Amazing Experience
While on our adventure session with Josh, it felt like we were the only 3 people where ever we went. Josh makes you feel like the camera isn’t there and you are just taking an adventure around the dunes. We got to choose our location and Josh was super helpful and informative about the area since we were not locals. Our photos truly show our personalities and I couldn’t be more happy with them! -

Maureen Sent on 10/02/2018My fiancee and I are both quite camera shy, so when we saw Josh's amazing portfolio of engagement photos in really beautiful, natural settings, we knew we had to book a session. I am so glad we did! Josh immediately made us feel at ease, and it wasn't long before he had both of us laughing and enjoying the natural beauty of sleeping bear dunes. In fact, when we were done my fiancee asked if we could do it again! Then, the photos arrived. Breathtaking. I could not recommend Josh more.

I recently traveled to Mt. Rainier National Park for my wedding. Josh was our immediate choice for our photographer due to his unique style and his adventurous nature! We couldn't have made a better choice. Josh hiked with all of his gear, and ours. He ran up the mountain, back down, and up again just to capture the perfect shot. He not only captured us but the views in a way that people who see the pictures can't believe. I can not say enough about how amazing he made the entire experience. I didn't have to ask for any photos because he already took them. To top it all off, he had teaser photos for me faster than I could blink and all of my photos done in record time. If you have a choice... choose Josh! It will be the best decision you make for your wedding day. -

I have nothing but good things to say about Josh. I have never met anyone more responsive to phone calls, emails and texts. We wanted some post wedding photos in the winter time and I was looking for someone who might want a little adventure. This guy nailed it! We had so much fun going out, exploring sleeping bear dunes with Josh. 2 hours later I didn't even notice we hiked 4 miles until Josh mentioned it, we were just having such a great time. Besides that, the most important part, the pictures are Ah-mazing! OMG! He got them back to us the next day! I assume part of that was because we did this photo session in December and he wasn't flooded with other weddings like in peak summer season but still, he is efficient, he's energetic, he's friendly and he makes great work. My only regret was not hiring him for our actual wedding day! -
Kristin Sent on 09/26/2018Super shocked, but super geeked to be the first person reviewing Josh! My husband and I got married in May 2018, and after coming across Josh’s amazing work on Facebook there was literally no question who we wanted photographing our big day. Josh has an eye for natural settings, natural elements, and the true raw beauty of love you can see in the subjects of his photos. Andy and I preferred candid shots, where we were just being ourselves, little looks and silly faces to capture our relationship, and Josh got it all. Even some moments that were quick he was able to catch. Prior to our date, he set up some skype dates with us to get to know our style, our personalities, and, of course, if we had any preferences or specific shots we wanted. We made a list of a few, but we mostly wanted it to be real and true to life. I had a few questions in the weeks leading up, and Josh’s prompt and thorough responses helped me feel like he had it covered. And boy did he ever. My friends and family were in awe at how much coverage he had at the wedding, and he had quite the task in editing the thousands of photos he took. He was literally everywhere that day.
Thanks so much Josh. Wedding day is an emotional and special to a bride and groom, and your photos help us to relive the best day of our lives. Thanks for everything!!! -

He was very flexible in taking our input, photographing us in our most favorite and memorable spots in Chicago. The photos came out great! We had so much fun with him and hope that we can work with him in the future!

Josh took are wedding photos and we were beyond excited and couldn't wait to see them. He did an AMAZING JOB and we didn't have to wait long! Josh knows all the ways to make you comfortable, to get you to come out of your shell, to be YOU. Very energetic, funny and memorable. He knows the best spots to take some amazing photos and he does his research if it's some where he's not familiar with. Josh doesn't want just another picture of someone standing there smiling at the camera, he wants those all natural, you being you pictures. Josh will take you on the best adventure of your life, that you and everyone around will get to enjoy for a lifetime! Give him a shout, he will not disappoint! -

What an incredible experience. I was blown away by the quality of pictures and how well he was able to capture the experience. When I look back at the pictures they are not just stoic memorabilia, they are priceless memories. Couldn’t have picked a better photographer -
