Best Photographers!

Amber and Josh were so amazing to work with for our July wedding and the photos turned out so incredibly beautiful. Every step of the way, they were responsive, communicative, organized, and just overall kind and fun people. They kept the day flowing seamlessly and everything on track. My husband and I were seriously blown away by the photos and the attention to detail. Sometimes posing for photos can feel super awkward, but they made us feel comfortable and had us cracking up all day long. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for professional and fun photographers in the Lehigh Valley/Poconos.

Josh and Amber are incredible photographers and people! They were so organized, thoughtful and prepared for our wedding. Josh and Amber knocked it out of the park! They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were super responsive for any questions that popped up & they helped hammer out all the details, which really helped take the stress out of the day of. Josh and Leandra were a blast to work with on the day of the wedding - super engaging, kind and fun. Everything just felt natural. The pictures themselves are spectacular: excellent quality, lots of candids and edited beautifully. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience - highly, highly recommend!

Best photographers ever!!

We booked both Josh and Amber for our wedding and they did a mini engagement for us too. All of their photographs came out stunning and they were great to work with. Would recommend them to anyone!

Every aspect from start to finish is handled in a warm and professional manner. This takes a lot of stress away from the overall wedding planning which is great.

Hiring Josh & Amber was the best decision ever!

Josh and Amber were just the best, from the first phone call to getting our photos back, we couldn’t have been happier. They were so easy to work with, made us feel so comfortable. Amber helped us make a complete timeline of our day and was so knowledgeable, helpful, professional but laid back and completely flexible at the same time. The day of our wedding we had Josh as our photographer. He took amazing pictures, he made everyone feel so comfortable, he got through our portraits quickly and got so many awesome candid shots. The pictures all came out beautiful. He is also one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to help us with whatever he could and he truly made our day that much more amazing.

Wedding on The Lake

We got married on a gorgeous Memorial Day weekend on Lake Wallenpaupack. Josh and Amber really took the time leading up to our special day to make sure they understood what types of pictures Kellyn and I wanted. They didn’t disappoint as our photos during the ceremony, together on the lake, and at the reception really encapsulated our marriage and love of friends and family. They really prepared and it showed in the detail and types of shots we got back from them. I feel like the best photographers are the ones where you don’t know they are there and blend into the surroundings while getting the best perspectives of the guests and us. Amazing!!!

Working with Josh and Amber was a pleasure right from the start. They met with us in Jim Thorpe for our engagement shoot which gave us time to get comfortable in front of the camera and we got to know Amber a little better. She was so friendly from the start that is felt like we had always known her. They made everything so easy, and we felt beyond comfortable on our wedding day. They worked hard to get every shot we asked for, and then some. We were more than pleased when the pictures finally came in, and just sat reminiscing in their beauty. Josh and Amber made our wedding so special

From the very beginning, Josh and Amber took an interest in us and made us feel amazing through every meeting. When our wedding day finally came, they were there for everything and made sure to get even the most ridiculous shots (bride in a claw foot bathtub???? Yes please!!) When the pictures finally came, we were stunned. No words could describe how beautiful they came out. They worked to get the best shots every time. Not to mention they were beyond friendly to work with. If there was more need for photographers in my every day life, I would use Josh and Amber every time.

We loved our photos!!

Working with Amber from JFAB was absolutely awesome! From planning for our reception, throughout the big day and until we received our pictures, everything was very smooth and professional. Even though my husband and I are not very comfortable having our pictures taken, Amber made us feel very relaxed and captured some of the most natural and beautiful shots that we’re sure to cherish for the rest of our lives. Josh and Amber are the Best!

We feel so grateful and lucky to have found JFAB! Josh and Amber were amazing to work with from the very beginning of the planning process through to our wedding day and beyond. From the very start, we felt like Josh and Amber understood us and what we were looking for. Our engagement shoot with Josh in Central Park went amazingly, even though neither of us are particularly comfortable having our pictures taken. Right away, Josh made us feel at ease and captured beautiful, natural moments that we are so grateful to have documented. At the actual wedding, we could not have been happier with Josh and Amber’s professionalism, calm competence, friendly touch, and the way they got all of the shots we wanted so seamlessly (even when it meant corralling extended family members and large groups of friends!) as well as capturing so many incredible little moments that we couldn’t have imagined. Exceptional Photos

We worked with Amber for our engagement photos and 6/14/19 wedding at The Boiler Room at Hawley Silk Mill. Working with Amber was a breeze from the beginning. She was responsive and respectful of our time. Her style of shooting complemented our personalities beautifully. We always felt comfortable in her presence. Amazing photography team!

Working with Josh and Amber was amazing. They are such a professional team, and we knew we made the right decision after our fantastic engagement photo session. The day of the wedding Josh and Megan (who was working with Josh for our wedding) were calm and professional. Despite traffic, due to Memorial Day, difficulty getting to the venue, and a sudden downpour during our ceremony (ah!), they remained composed and professional. We absolutely love our photos, and could not have asked for more from our photographers. Thank you so much for your patience and help the day of the wedding, and the incredible photos!

Josh was so easy going, kind, fun, AND professional on our wedding day and every day leading up to the big day. We are so lucky that we booked him because we now have beautiful and timeless pictures to have forever. I love looking at our pictures because they bring me right back to the day. We loved that Josh's style was not completely focused on posed pictures because he was able to capture so many moments that were just so "us". What we are also amazed by is that Josh was one person who got perfect and moving shots of not only us, but of our loved ones, details of the day, and ceremony pictures from all sides. His work is incredible! He knew where to be, yet we never even noticed when he was taking pictures of those special moments. Several guests commented on how great he was too!

Amber was an absolute joy to work with! We had an intimate wedding, so photos were an important aspect of capturing our day. Josh was amazing! He arrived early to look for great spots, trudged through snow (even shoveled it with his boot so I didn’t have to walk through) just to get the right angles. We could not be happier with all of the beautiful moments he captured. I have received so many compliments on his work. I would highly recommend Josh and Amber to capture your day.

We worked with Amber for our wedding. She was our favorite person of all the vendors we worked with, and we only have positive things to say! She is personable, fun, and makes you feel at ease through the process like you're old friends, which allowed our photos to come out with a very natural look to them. She was able to be effective and keep her cool managing large groups of family members into position for portraits, which allowed us to focus on the other tasks at hand - a huge help for us! Above all, the quality of her photos are the best we have seen. The colors are so vibrant! Her shots capture both hilarious candids, and the intense emotions of all the guests throughout the day. I cannot praise Josh Finsel and Amber Breiner Photography enough! My husband and I worked closely with Amber in our engagement shoot in their beautiful town of Jim Thorpe--we highly recommend taking advantage of the engagement shoot. It provided us with an opportunity to get to know Amber, and more importantly, Amber got to know us as a couple. We felt 100% comfortable with her and confident in her ability to beautifully capture our wedding.

My husband and I had an outdoor wedding and tented reception in July. Unfortunately, it down poured and the entire wedding was moved into the tent. It rained nearly the whole evening, but Amber and her staff were not phased and still managed to capture the most breathtaking photos. Amber made sure we still got photos all over the property and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Our couple portraits were unique, beautiful and playful. Amber and her assistant seemed to capture the spirit and personality of everyone, a skill that I think is hard to come by. Amber has a very unique style and all of her photos really captured the love we felt for one another and for all our family and friends. The photos don't look photo shopped or fake, but instead authentic and real. We couldn't be happier with our photos!!

We had the absolute BEST time with Josh & Amber! There are so many wonderful things to say! First, the quality of their work is phenomenal. They captured the most special, beautiful, memorable, hilarious moments of our wedding. They really captured our personalities in the photos too! Our wedding photos look like they belong in a wedding magazine! We have gotten COUNTLESS COMPLIMENTS on how beautiful the photographs are!

Perhaps more importantly, Josh & Amber are awesome people. Totally down to earth, so funny, so friendly, and laid back. We had such a fun time hanging out with them during our photo shoots. We had our engagement session with Josh in Jim Thorpe, PA. Josh took us to the coolest spots around the town for some incredible photo opportunities. On the day of our wedding, Amber & Josh were a very welcomed cool & calm presence. Our DJ commented on how incredibly discrete they were during the reception! They captured some of the funniest dance floor moments & we had no idea they were taking photos at that point!

Amber and Josh were fabulous to work with! They have an ability to truly capture magic in each photo. What I originally loved when I first came across their portfolio was the charming and almost whimsical quality to their photography style, with both the formal/posed photos and candids. Lucky for us, we got to work with both Josh and Amber on our wedding day (instead of one with an assistant). They are so easy to work with and get along with. They make an effort to get to know you from the get go so you don't feel like a stranger is photographing your most special day, starting with a complimentary engagement shoot. And they were very organized and helpful with the planning process to ensure that things went as smoothly as possible on the day of. You don't really realize how the process of capturing wedding day photos could be chaos without a plan in place. We found their prices to be reasonable and pretty moderate in comparison to other photographers we researched. Their portfolio is definitely a good representation of the quality of the end product. We couldn't be happier with our final photos and would HIGHLY recommend Amber and Josh!

We found Josh and Amber because they had done a wedding at our venue before (which is somewhat rare) and we thought they did a great job there, so we decided to investigate and we are SO glad we found them! They were absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole process and our photos came out absolutely gorgeous. We were looking for people to capture the emotion, love, and beautiful scenery that we incorporated into our day and Josh and the second photographer (Mike) both did a phenomenal job. They were fun, professional, and great at herding the masses of our family and friends for family photos into place to get perfect shots. I cannot stop looking at our photos-- they are so good!! Where do I even begin?! I am so thrilled a friend of mine recommended me to Amber. As I was crazed over wedding photography prices, I found their packages very reasonable. My husband and I were extremely unsure about our wedding details at first but we were dying to have our engagement photos taken. With our schedule very limited, Amber was not only flexible but very helpful with selecting the proper time of month for the look we wanted. We took a lovely drive to visit Amber's town and had an awesome time shooting in the perfect October weather. Amber gave us a tour of their amazing town and had the most simple, perfect photos taken. We decided to have a very small wedding and once I began to give Amber some of the details she started recommended places she new in the area from previous weddings she shot. Honestly, it was the best advice that was given to us. We decided on one of the places she recommended and set a date! During the wedding process, Amber was very attentive, answered all my questions. During the day of, her paid back personality was refreshing - very needed - she has the perfect balance of being there for all the right moments and dealing with the guests. We just got all of our photos (and in a promptly manner), I am AMAZED. Completely in love. Amber captured all the right angles and moments, I could not imagine being more satisfied.

Amber took our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. I really have no words for how beautiful the pictures were! We had a ton of fun with her taking our engagement photos and that came across in every photo. It was funny because I, of course, did all the vendor booking, so my husband really didn't have a clue who I booked for photography. When we arrived for our engagement shoot, it turned out that he and Amber had actually gone to high school together! It was perfect because he's on the shy side, so that previous bond helped him to relax, not to mention Amber is just so easy to be around. For our wedding, I had told Amber that I really wanted candid photos. I love good "party" shots, so I asked her to stay through the whole reception. The pictures she took were awesome! It was like we were back at our wedding, which was exactly what we wanted, to be able to relive the day through our photos (isn't that the point!?!). I also loved the fact that after all "traditional" photos were taken, I never even noticed Amber walking around taking photos. So many people looked at our pictures and said, "I didn't know she stayed that late!". We did our wedding on a budget, but I knew that I wanted to splurge on pictures, that was the one thing that was so important to me. I am so glad we chose Amber! After all the planning and prepping, the pictures of your wedding day are truly all you have left to remember it by. Thanks to Amber, I will never forget the amazing friends and family that shared that day with us, the wonderful food, flowers, decor and venue that made our day perfect and most importantly, all the love and support we had on that beautiful day!

Amber and Josh were organized and very fun to work with. We only saw our preview pics so far but I already know that the photos are going to be amazing. Amber took the time to chat with me to get an idea of the types of photos I wanted for the wedding. I gave Amber and Josh a list of the "must-have" photos and they both worked hard throughout my wedding day to make it happen. I never once worried about them getting the best photos possible and they honestly made my wedding day so much more relaxing and fun. I would recommend JFAB photography in a heart beat!

So happy we stumbled across Amber and Josh's web page......their work stood out and after talking to Amber over the phone we knew that capturing and preserving the beauty of our wedding day was just as important to them as it was to us. Not only did we dig their photography style but they offered a small engagement shoot so we could get to know them as well as get a little preview of their work before the big day. Both Amber and Josh are so laid back and so organized that the whole process went like clockwork. They know how to keep the mood light as well as how to capture those intimate moments without it feeling intrusive. Amber and Josh were absolutely fantastic in every way!! From the first conversation with Amber it clicked and I knew they were the perfect fit for our wedding. Through the entire process they were so great to work with! Amber and Josh's creativity and vision shows in their work and it's clear that they love what they do. They are amazing people and it's easy to quickly form a bond with them. For my husband and I who aren't used to being in the spotlight, they made it so comfortable and FUN for us! Amber took our engagement and wedding photos, and she did an absolutely AMAZING job. Our photographs are absolutely stunning. She really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted, and she delivered on everything we asked for. Her photographs capture the spirit of the day perfectly. We had a colorful and laid-back wedding at a rustic venue, and it was really important to us that those things come through in the photos, and they did, an in an awesome way. Not only is Amber amazing, but she was by far the most affordable of the photographers we looked at. This really helped us stay within budget -- we hadn't been sure we would even be able to afford a photographer, but it worked out perfectly! I would recommend her to everyone!

The moment my fiance spoke with Amber on the phone, he knew they were the perfect photographers for our wedding. We both work in the arts/entertainment, so we had high standards for our photographers. It was a priority to find the right people since they would be documenting one of the most important days of our lives together with the people we loved. We found that in Amber and Josh. We loved their eye for finding that shot when no one was looking of the most precious moments that you cannot get through staging a shot. We also loved the natural way their staged shots turned out. Our photos were so beautiful and natural. Everyone loved them. Their work perfectly complimented the beautiful surroundings of our wedding location too. Our guests also admired the way that they barely noticed that Amber and Josh were around taking photos during the ceremony and reception. No one felt like they had a camera stuck in their faces. Their demeanor is relaxed and friendly while getting the job done, which is the best thing to have when you're going through the craziness of a wedding day. They were worth every penny of what we paid and more. There aren't enough words that we have to say "thank you" to this couple for their work and who they are.

Amber and Josh were incredible from our first conversation to the day we got our photo discs in the mail (they still are amazing and we will continue to request them for future events!). Natural, candid, and meaningful photos from our wedding were a priority for us -all within a reasonable budget. Amber and Josh delivered that, and then some. People are still raving about our photos and we definitely feel like they captured the best moments. We most appreciated their down-to-earth nature and ability to help us feel comfortable in front of the camera, their willingness to listen to what was important to us and then capture that, and their expert recommendations and artistic eye through the lens. Photographers were a priority when planning our wedding. We knew the day was going to be a blur and wanted beautiful pictures to look back at.

Searching and locating a photographer for the biggest day of your life is not an easy task to accomplish; especially if you and your wife-to-be are professional photographers. Kara and I searched adamantly for a photographing service that would offer what we would provide to ourselves if we could photograph our own wedding. When we were introduced to Josh and Amber's photography, we were immediately sold. Josh and Amber went so far above and beyond our expectations! The work they did was astonishing and the level of professionalism was pristine. Not only were they empathetic toward our photography desires, they requested our input and suggestions to allow a collaborative creativeness. The photos were not solely about Kara and I either; they were about the family, the friends, the decorations, the mood, the atmosphere. Everything was integrated perfectly! Even though I will never have the opportunity to have my own wedding shot by Josh and Amber again, I will be suggesting them to everyone looking for a wedding photography service and telling them about my absolutely splendid experience!

You dont typically see Grooms writing reviews for their wedding photographers :) so that should speak enough for itself that I'm not hesitating a bit to say JFAB team are a Dream Team!

I could get into details of their flexibility, professionalism, coolness, easy-going nature, etc etc - but I'll just share one instance of Josh and Amber going above and beyond: my wife got some dirt on the back of her wedding dress while posing next to an old building, and instead of ignoring it or worse panicking for it will constantly be on bride's mind if left unaddressed, Amber took my bride to freshen up inside the hotel, found a helpful person to wash the stain off, and took awesome pictures during the experience!

They knew exactly how much time to spend on different sites, without making us feel rushed nor bored. They managed to capture with such ease the essence of our wedding which was love and friendship!

Great experience: Josh and Amber are highly recommended photographers for your special day.

Josh was all I could have hoped for as the photographer for our wedding and more. I am a photographer myself so not only were the pictures very important to me as they are with all wedding couples I also had a very clear vision of the kind of images I wanted. I wanted mainly candid shots that looked natural and beautiful and were technically sound (the photographer in me!). Looking on Josh and Amber’s website and their work I could see all those things so I went with them even though they were a little above our budgeted amount for the photographer. It was money well spent! Josh is a very strong photographer technically, but also a very professional and friendly person that made us and all of our guests feel very comfortable around him which is critical if you are going to get the candid natural looking shots that I wanted. We was flexible in working around some weather issues and managed to get all the shots we asked for and more. We hardly even noticed him during the ceremony yet he seemed to get every angle. Before hand both he and Amber were very patient in answering all of my MANY questions. Afterwards we got our pictures right on schedule and it was clear that a lot of work and care had gone into each of the 700+ shots we received. There aren’t enough good things to say about these two—I would definitely recommend them for weddings or any other photography needs.

Josh and Amber, while photographing our wedding day very professionally, added a comfortable, fun attitude. We had a large family and wedding party to photograph which we were worried about ahead of time, but they managed to accomplish photographing everyone beautifully and enjoyably! Our wedding party said they had never had so much fun with the photo process. Josh and Amber were just wonderful to work with from the first time I contacted them all the way through to getting our photos. Josh and Amber photographed our wedding this past August, and we just recently saw some of their "preview" photos that they selected for their blog.

They captured the day exactly how it felt to us- basically one huge non-stop grin surrounded by a little dreaminess or magic around the edges. I don't know how you manage to capture that in so many photos, but they really, really did.

We really wanted our photos to be non-posed, candid, and to show us, our friends and family "being themselves". Like many of the other reviewers, the thought of being photographed made us feel hopelessly awkward, but within the first few minutes, they had us *almost* forgetting that we were getting our pictures taken.

A few weeks before the wedding, Amber called again to run through the "flow" of the day and to make sure timing would be seamless and that they'd be sure to get shots of all the important moments or groups of people that we wanted.

We felt completely at ease with Josh and Amber, as did our wedding party. They blended in with the guests easily, were completely unobtrusive, and managed to get the candid moments we really wanted to see when we looked back on the day. It was like having a second pair of eyes at the wedding, catching some of the moments we missed ourselves.

The bottom line is that we'd enthusiastically recommend these two to anyone. They're truly talented and painstaking in their work. They have such an easy and friendly manner that it makes their subjects feel at ease, and it all shows in the beautiful images they present you with at they end.

Like most people, I have never really enjoyed having my picture taken. I’ve had it done for work, and I have stood together with family for holiday photos, but otherwise I do my best to avoid living my life staring down the barrel of an SLR.

I won’t say I dreaded the photos on my wedding day, but I was nervous. I never really like how I look in pictures, and often I feel compelled to make ridiculous faces, or place my hands at awkward angles for no reason. In short, I’m a mess. Thankfully, Amber and Josh know how to deal with that kind of thing.

Before the big day, they invited us over to their home for coffee, and dinner, as part of our engagement shoot. Josh took us over to a local farm that they are friendly with, and took some absolutely gorgeous photos of me and my-then-fiance-now-wife, and I knew that I was in good hands. They came well recommended, but you never really know what you’re going to get until you see the results first hand. I was beyond happy.

On the wedding day, Josh and Amber did their thing like a couple of pros. Outside of the handful of posed shots that we had requested for family members, the two of them captured the day in a quasi-documentary style. They captured every single precious moment of the day I married my best friend, and they did it without being intrusive, or injecting themselves into the moment. A photographer’s job is to get the shot, and sometimes they have to step in front of Uncle Bob or Aunt Mary to do it, but there isn't a single moment that day where I saw it happen. It speaks to the quality of their craft, their experience in this field, and the depth of their professionalism.

I am so happy that we shared the day with such wonderful people, and such talented artists. It’s rare that you find such a blend of warmth, and talent in a person, let alone two together, and I’m glad that we had them to document our wedding day.

Josh and Amber were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional while working with us for our wedding. My wife and I met them for a consultation and some engagement pictures. They made the entire process very comfortable. It was like hanging out with old friends.

For the wedding day, they met us in Philadelphia in the morning for pictures. They came completely prepared with all of the locations and shots that they wanted to take, and made everything go very smoothly before the actual wedding. During the wedding itself they got every picture that we could have wanted and more. All-in-all, we would definitely recommend using them for any photographic needs. We have so many incredible pictures and even bought a few canvases to hang on the wall.

Josh and Amber are a great photography duo! I am very awkward when it comes to posing for photos, but when we met Josh and Amber I knew I wouldn't need to worry. The engagement session was fun and light hearted, and we were able to use some of our photos at the wedding.

They took amazing photos throughout the day of the wedding and catered to all of our requests - including taking photos of us as we drove through Wendy's drive-thru for a mid day snack. It was great to have two photographers to cover all aspects of the day. We got so many photos of both the men and the women getting ready, which is fun to look back on. And during the reception, Josh was able to take great group shots while Amber got some great close ups on the dance floor. If I could plan the wedding all over again I would absolutely choose Amber and Josh again.

Right from the start I knew Amber was a great fit for us. She was very easy to talk to and listened to all of our concerns and ideas. We had a smaller wedding so she was willing to do it on her own instead of both Josh and Amber to help us save. Our site was not the easiest site to shoot, because of the rough terrain and spread out layout but she got right into the action and got all of the shots I could have asked for despite being 6 months pregnant! Lighting and texture were big for me so she made sure to get us in various locations with all the different backdrops our location provided, waterfalls, cliffs, old stone architecture. The shots of the details like the flowers, tables, favors, menus, shoes, rings etc were done as beautiful still lifes which means a lot to me since I spent so much time planning and coordinating all of the little things.
And on top of it all, Amber worked great with my new husband who HATES having his picture taken. :)

Josh and Amber were a PLEASURE to work with and you won't go wrong with hiring them!!! As a result of the married team photography we had an epic amount of shots that captured the love and happiness we felt that day. They were patient and hard working on our leather craftsman album - which turned out beautifully and we have such a variety of shots in frames about our house. I can not begin to express how amazing Josh and Amber are. From our engagement photo shoot to our wedding day, we would chose them all over again in a heart beat. Our families and friends even loved them! From their amazing professional pictures to their laid back and non intrussive attitude, they are the best. We didnt want staged pictures and they got amazing candid shots, action shots, and some posed/not so posed shots througout the day. Josh and amber were with us from morning to night and we look at our pictures daily! I can not give them a better review, and it is no exageraton! They are timely on their responses and so upbeat that they make everything enjoyable. LOVED THEM!

I don't think I could possibly say enough wonderful things about Josh and Amber. My husband and I heard about them through a mutual college friend who had used the pair for her wedding. She was kind enough to send me the link to their photos and I immediately loved them. They have such a knack for capturing emotion in a photo. We enjoyed our engagement/getting to know you session with Josh up in Jim Thorpe (one of my favorite little towns since I was a kid so it didn't take much arm twisting to get us up there) and really got comfortable enough to just have fun and be ourselves. Our wedding day was no different. The two are just genuinely wonderful people who truly love what they do. Every photo we've seen so far is just so us (which is exactly what you'd want for your wedding day). All our friends/family RAVED about how wonderful they were the day of (they all found them so fun and yet not in their faces--they got the shots while still being a "fly on the wall") and even more once they saw the photos! I HIGHLY recommend these two. They're absolute superstars. :)

Amber was our photographer for our wedding, but we also had a lovely opportunity to meet her husband Josh (for larger weddings than ours they work as a team). Having a husband and wife team work on your photos for your wedding is very special. They understand that this is more than just a job and want to make sure your event was just as good as theirs.

We found them by chance - but we couldn't have been more lucky. Amber was incredible. Full of confidence about what she wanted she captured some incredible moments throughout our day. Before the wedding, she took the time to get to know us - even going so far to invite us to meet her family. Super hip, creative and a very good listener. We couldn't ask for more.

Amber and Josh were amazing!! They work excellent together and will make your big day memorable. They were never in the way and did not pose us so all our pictures are natural and who we really are. We would recommend Josh and Amber to anyone. Our pictures and edits they did were excellent and our album is breathtaking. Josh and Amber have an amazing talent that truly shows in their work!

Josh and Amber were so fun to work with, and our pictures are stunning. Many of our friends are now beginning to plan their own weddings, and we never hesitate to recommend Josh and Amber. Our wedding was on October 29, 2011-- the day of the surprise snow storm. Josh and Amber were on time, professional, and great company. They caught every emotion, every detail, and made it easy for us to be ourselves. Some of our pictures in the snow look like magazine ads, and they somehow make you forget they are around even so that even "posed" photos show your natural emotions. We have no idea how we will begin to choose which photos we print for our album and home. We have about 1300 edited photos, and all of them are gorgeous. Once the day is said and done, pictures and memories are what is left to remember it by, and we are so glad we chose Josh and Amber for the job. Do yourself a favor and book the best!

I did a lot of research to find our photographers and work that Josh and Amber produced speaks for itself – I love our wedding photos. Josh and Amber helped make our wedding day perfect and captured all of those memories through their photography. They were extremely helpful in the planning process helping us scout out the best locations for some photos between the ceremony and reception. They worked with all of our thoughts and ideas and really went the extra mile to make sure they captured everything that was important to us. In addition to their photography skills, both Josh and Amber have a quiet confidence and calmness that helps make the wedding day so much easier. Josh and Amber have a knack for capturing things as they happen, and we couldn’t have been happier with the photos.

My husband and I just received our wedding album from Amber and Josh and we could not be more thrilled! We don't consider ourselves photogenic and I hate being the center of attention, so our priority in choosing wedding photographers was to find someone who could help us take relaxed shots. Amber and Josh were great in this respect--they provided complementary engagement shots so we could get to know them. They also touched base with us multiple times before the big day to finalize the schedule so that everything went smoothly. As two very type A people, Amber and Josh were the perfect duo to calm our nerves. There wasn't a single moment when we weren't laughing or enjoying the picture-taking process, which was evident in all the wonderful candid shots we got. If you look through their work, you'll immediately recognize how much talent these photographers have. What's not obvious from pictures alone is how professional, accommodating, and easy to work with they are. We had a difficult time choosing the pictures for our wedding album, requiring multiple drafts/changes. Although we were in the final stages, amber was willing to work with us for over an hour via phone to go page by page making sure that we were happy with the final round of edits. They made sure the album, and the story that it tells, is exactly how we remember the day. We are so fortunate to have had them capture this big day for us and will cherish their photos for years to come.

We knew we wanted a team a photographers with a documentary eye for our wedding. Josh and Amber did not disappoint. We had an engagement session that helped us all get a bit more comfy with one another which we would highly recommend for any couple. For our wedding day, they balanced the standard wedding photography needs (group shots, parents, etc.) with our desire for a more candid approach. Overall, they were easy to work with, flexible about arrangements and packages, and produced amazing results.

Pictures are a way of essentially saving memories! This has always been very important to me-- this is why I have millions of photos!! When we were searching for a photographer for our wedding, we wanted quality, professionalism, and value! Josh & Amber are just that! We first met them at a friend's wedding. We were blown away by the pictures that they blogged about. It truly told the story of the whole day. The pictures were well edited and just plain AWESOME! Photography was something we did splurge on, but we knew it was more than worth it! We were nervous to go with anyone else; not knowing what we would get as an end product. We initially met via phone and then again for our engagement picture session. My husband and I are not the most photogenic persons to begin with, but you would NEVER know! The pictures they got for our engagement session alone turned out so well!! I never once doubted that our photos wouldn't turn out for the wedding. Josh and Amber are a dynamic duo to say the least! They both have visions--not always the same-- but they work so well together and get so many great shots!! They are very knowledgeable about photography, lighting, poses, and natural shots. Their quality of services, professionalism and flexibility were great! Out of all our vendors, we had no problems with them and their service. Because of their knowledge, they were able to give us a lot of advice about the timing of photos, which photos to get, and what is most important. They are very responsive, which is important when you have a lot of questions (which I did) and do not live close by (which we don't). We got our initial sneak peak and blog within a month or so from our wedding date. We also got all of our proofs before their 2 month contract. Our album was finalized, submitted, and received 3 1/2 months after our wedding! Everything worked out so well! The pictures are great and all of our friends and family are equally as happy and excited!
