I can't say enough wonderful things about Jon and his team. Jon was so easy to talk to, get in touch with, and quite literally managed my entire wedding day. They went above and beyond to ensure I would have the best/least stressful day. Throughout the day, Jon ensured I ate/drank water, had time to myself, had time alone with my partner, and was so flexible when things needed to be adjusted. The pictures Jon and his team took were stunning, and I mean STUNNING. It is very difficult to narrow down a few of my favorites. The video perfectly captured the day and all of my favorite moments. I could not have asked for a better photographer/videographer team! -

Jon Adams was an absolute dream to work with, he was personable, professional, and his talent absolutely speaks for itself. I also cannot believe how FAST he got our photos back to us, seriously, WOW! He is absolutely passionate about photography and capturing the moment as individual it is to each newly married couple. My wedding vibe was Vermont forest, fairyland and it totally came through in the photos. I also hired him to do a wedding video for us and I am SO glad that I did. Now we will have something to watch back in the years to come and even to show our kids. He was seriously so lovely to work with, everyone at my wedding who interacted with him was beyond impressed. -

We got married 8/3/24 and loved having Jon Adams as our photographer. Engagement photos were included in the package and we appreciated the chance to meet and get comfortable before the wedding day. On both occasions, he made us comfortable and helped guide us through a variety of poses. He was able to capture so many moments of our wedding day from the emotions of the ceremony to the dancing. He got some amazing artistic shots, too, including one with lightning in the background. We appreciated that his package was full-day and we didn't have to figure out how to fit our photos into a tight time-frame. His turn-around time on photos was unbelievable - engagement photos were sent to us the same night he took the photos and we got the wedding photos with 5 days! -

We interviewed a few photographers in the hope of finding someone we admired AND jived with. First, we were in awe of Jon's portrait gallery on his website. Then, we met him over zoom and immediately felt comfortable. Jon is excellent at what he does - that matters a lot. For us, the energy and the connection also mattered a lot. Jon is easy to talk to, accessible, responsive, and fun! We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Jon for our wedding. If you're still on the search, look no further - Jon is simply the best!

Jon was the best thing that happened to me on my wedding day. I mean-- so was my husband-- but having a highly professional and talented photographer was the best investment for the wedding that we could have made. The day goes by SO fast, and after the dust settles- the photos make you really enjoy all the details and planning that went into your special day. You don't have enough time to fully take everything in, so getting those photos and spending time looking through them makes you really enjoy the experience so much more than you're able to on the day of.
The experience: It was a wonderful day- but until I got the photos back, I couldn't truly grasp and appreciate all that had happened. In talking to my guests, I realized my experience was so much different than theirs, so all of Jon's photos were able to help me envision what everyone else was seeing and feeling. Viewing the photos from each part of the day, I could fully absorb the highlights and details of everything we tried to craft and appreciate them. He artfully categorized the photographs into sections when delivering the finished product, so everyone who attended (or didn’t attend) could get the full experience of the entire day’s activities.
Jon's attention to the timeline of the day and insight into what I felt was important to capture was all spot on. He was thinking about those moments before I was. From before the wedding day, during the planning, getting to know us—and then all through the entire day and afterwards. A true professional.
Timeline: From the very beginning of the day, Jon and his crew stepped into shepherd me through the day's events. Since I do live far from my ladies, capturing the “getting ready experience” was crucial to me and now I have that imprint in my mind forever. His teammate Jamie also provided great comedic relief at times. And each step, makeup, getting dressed, transportation- was all coordinated with his help.
We opted not for a first look with each other because we are more traditional, but it was important to me to spend a moment alone with my dad away from everyone else before I got married. Jon made sure to listen and note all those important moments that were crucial to us. Life is short, and we were grateful to have a photographer who understood us and was able to capture the broad spectrum of the day, but also have great intuition and be really in touch with those mini-moments that capture an essence of deeper sentiment.
Style: The style of photos is natural, romantic, and authentic. Jon makes you feel comfortable and works around the room and people with flow and ease. It comes across in the finished product. Nothing is over filtered, over-staged. This was important to me when choosing a photographer. The craft of photography comes through. He comes prepared with his cameras, lights…and special equipment. Jon and his team nailed it.
If you’re thinking of doing a video--- think no more--- DO IT!!!!! I could watch the video over and over again and hope to watch it with my kids someday. It’s a great recap of everything-- a movie trailer, if you will, of your special day. There were thousands of photos taken and the video accurately highlights the overall sentiment and matches the energy of each part of the day.
This might sound cheesy, but Jon Adams Photography is more than just a photographer. He is a professional companion in your journey of love. Every time we glimpse at a photo, my husband and I get that tingly feeling all over again. I was nervous about the timeline of events and staying on track- but Jon was confident and swift to manage all those subconscious nerves for me. The only thing I was not nervous about was marrying my husband. That feeling of warmth, complete peace--overcomes me again every time I look back at the photos. -

Absolutely amazing to work with!
Jon photographed our wedding on 10/14/23 & hiring him was honestly the best decision I could’ve made!
For over a year as we planned, Jon stayed in touch & sent helpful tips every step of the way (even went as far as helping me make decisions with other things for the wedding which I will forever be grateful for)!
On the day, Jon and Jamie went above & beyond to capture everything we had wanted (& then some!). Their photography & videography skills plus their attention to detail meant that nothing was left out & everything was captured beautifully for us to look at forever.
He also took our family Christmas card pictures for us after & they are amazing! His studio has everything you could want (indoor & outdoor) & he does an amazing job!
I am so happy that we decided to go with Jon & HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer (or for any kind of pictures)! -

Jon truly captured who we are as a couple on our wedding elopement day and we could not have been more pleased! We wanted Jon to be our photographer so much that we chose our special day based on Jon's availability! Not only did he make it fun and relaxed, but the photos were exceptional! We highly recommend Jon for any occasion, and he was professional from the first day we reached out to all the communication thereafter. We also did a 1920s theme session at his studio with props and a green screen! All we can say is, Jon is your all-round man! Photographer, videographer and green screen man! I am someone who does A LOT of research before settling on a vendor. So let me tell you that you will NOT find someone as good as Jon and his team. Jon works ~30+ weddings per year and so really knows what he is doing. He has a super friendly team that works with him and he is absolutely organized and a source of calm.
We used his photobooth service in addition to the 2 photographers plus videographer. All along the way, Jon was willing to work with us on a package and pricing that made sense to us. We already had engagement photos and lived out of state, so he allowed us to make some changes to his existing package to meet our needs. I never felt he was trying to squeeze every last dollar out of us (which I can't say for every vendor!). In fact, we couldn't believe the value we received from Jon and his team for the price point - especially considering the quotes we received from other photographers / stories we have heard from other brides & grooms.
As for the services -- The photobooth was super easy to use and a great time for all ages. You get an online album within the week that you can then send out to your friends and family. What was the most unbelievable is that he turned around all of our wedding photos within a week!! I had even asked for some specific editing styles and he even gave me two to choose from before applying the edits to all (~2,000 photos!) I have friends who didn’t get their photos for MONTHS so this was unbelievable to me! His photos do such a wonderful job of capturing the storyline of the day - all the fun moments as well as the artistic ones. We've been thrilled to relive the story through these photos.
Lastly, Jon was so focused - both during the wedding planning process - but also on the day of the wedding, making sure that me and my husband got all of our desired pictures and that we stayed on schedule. His team went above and beyond the call of duty as photographers and even helped with last minute random errands/issues which inevitably arise during weddings.
I couldn't be happier with his services and would recommend to everyone I know getting married in Vermont! -

We worked with Jon Adams Photography for our wedding photos and engagement shoot and it was probably the best decision we made for our wedding!
Working with Jon made the challenge of a diy wedding so much easier. Jon was so helpful to work with throughout all of the planning stage. He helped me craft the perfect timeline and patiently answered all of my questions! His suggestions were invaluable!
We really enjoyed our engagement shoot and we love love the pictures. It was the perfect way to calm my husband's dread of posing for photos. He was surprised by how fun it was! We both had a great time.
Jon and his assistant were amazing to work with on the wedding day! We had rainy weather and did a last-minute change of the ceremony space. Throughout all the chaos, Jon was super helpful and flexible with all the changes to the flow of the day and the location.
Taking our wedding pictures was such a fun and non-stressful part of the day! Jon beautifully captured our different family and friend groups and really captured the magic of the day in his photos! Jon took a great mix of portraits, wedding party and family photos, and action shots that captured the energy of the party. Even with some challenging weather conditions, Jon took advantage of every window with better weather and pretty light. His expertise made for the most stunning photos! We love all the photos!
My husband and I really enjoyed the short periods of time when Jon would whisk us away to take some pictures of just us. This made for some nice relaxing breaks for us to just enjoy a moment together.
One last detail - we got our photos back from Jon super super quickly! Friends were shocked by how soon we had access to our whole photo library!

Working with Jon was a dream! He was flexible and willing to come down to MA for our engagement shoot, great to keep in touch with and change plans during COVID, and phenomenal to work with in person at our wedding! We loved having a photographer willing to trek through woods and brush to get the perfect shot and being up for anything - especially when we added an "elopement" in 2020 for our mini-mony in addition to the full wedding package we had to move to 2021! We couldnt love our wedding photos more, and had an amazing time working with Jon! -

Jon was prepared, professional, friendly, and worked really well along with us. He didn't just point and shoot, he and his assistant helped us pose, payed attention to the light, and made sure my wedding dress and hair were always in place. We got fun candids from the reception and Jon helped us take advantage of all the cool locations at our venue. He was also flexible with our small wedding party and all the kids running around. On top of everything, the photos were shared very quickly and are top quality. I'm a graphic designer by trade and spend all day every day editing photography so I was pretty picky choosing our photographer and Jon came through wonderfully, especially for the price which was very reasonable. We're very happy with our experience and our album! -

Jon was our wedding photographer and did an excellent job! We love our photos and knew we would by looking at his work on his website. Everything was very clear from the beginning when working with Jon; his way of doing business is very straightforward and the value is there. We were never troubled with decisions about extra hours or different photography packages. In addition to the amazing photographs, Jon was incredibly easy to work with the day of. You forget that on your wedding day you have to spend a good chunk of that time taking photos and being around your wedding photographer; in our case from early in the a.m. to 10 p.m. His easy going attitude and ability to adjust to the million requests that happen on a wedding day is really an added value. Our wedding photos look straight out of a magazine. Jon has countless ideas and captures everything so naturally. He is easy going and has such a energetic vibe that it automatically makes everything less nerve wracking. We would highly recommend him to anyone! He is affordable, easy to work with, has so many great ideas, and has a love for photography that shines through all of his images! -

Choosing a photographer to capture every part of one of the most anticipated and exciting days of your lifetime can be a truly stressful task, and it takes a special person and a special talent to make it an easy decision. Jon came with glowing recommendations from some of our friends, so we looked at his work, and decided a phone call/conversation was essential. After meeting Jon over a video chat, we knew immediately that he was going to be a great fit for us.
Jon described to us his whole process on the skype connection, including how he went about his photography down to the nitty gritty science aspect of how he works in different lighting and constantly changing scenes throughout a wedding/engagement photos. He made us feel comfortable from the beginning, but he still had to make us look good at the wedding and capture every part of it from beginning to end.
We met him in person for the first time at our engagement photo shoot, and the entire time we were with him was fun and relaxing and the end result was breathtaking pictures that we were ecstatic about. We knew once again that we had made a good decision, and then it was onto the wedding.
Our wedding was a unique one, with a lot of aspects that broke from tradition, and he along with his counterpart took the day in stride and always seemed to be at the perfect place at the perfect time! They allowed us to enjoy the day as much as we possibly could have, while at the same time slipping away at moments that proved photogenic! They were constantly wandering around looking for the best shots, and when they got a chance they would pull us away to take advantage. My wife and I both were so impressed with how seasoned and comfortable they both seemed throughout the day. They were experimenting with video also, and the end result was something that we will have for the rest of our lives that captured so many perfect moments throughout the day. We also purchased his photo booth, which was a blast, they provided an assortment of great props as well. When the day was over, they showed us a couple of examples of what they took during the day and we were beside ourselves with excitement (as if the day couldn’t get any more exciting)! We were surprised at how fast our photos were ready after the wedding! They turned out even better than we could have possibly imagined, and we are forever grateful that we chose Jon to be our photographer! His professionalism is unrivaled, and his passion for photography and getting the best shots is absolutely remarkable! Throughout our day, we had numerous wedding guests tell us how kind the photographers were and how much they enjoyed talking to them. THANK YOU SO MUCH Jon and his side kick, Eric, for everything that you guys did for us, and for providing us with the most perfect assortment of photos and video that will allow us to remember our special day forever!

As the officiant for my best friends wedding, i had the honor of meeting Mr. Adams first hand knew the event was in good hands. Johnathan Adams was remarkable from capturing all the once in a lifetime moments not just during the ceremony but the fun and anticipating activities and moments prior. A video was done and I am beyond words and blown away with awe on how he was able to bring it all together perfectly. What he can do with a lens is unbelievable. Honestly, if you need videography or photography done for any event, there is no other game in town that comes anywhere close to matching what I've seen him do first hand. -

When planning my wedding there were two things I knew I needed the best of; photographer and DJ. I searched for months looking for the best quality photographer for a price that fit my budget. All the photographers that I found and liked their work were way out of my budget, and the ones that were, I wasn’t impressed with their work. Knowing how important it is to have someone to capture your day in all aspects I wasn’t settling. I met Jon and a bridal show and was very impressed with his work. After looking over his packages and talking with him I knew he was the one I had to have. He was very professional in all the months leading up to the big day, he worked with me and my husband through email and he listened to everything I had to say. He was so fun to work with and made my step daughter have fun during our engagement shoot when it was freezing cold out! The big day came and I felt at ease. He took shots that I came up with and shots I never would have thought of. I recommend him to everyone I know looking for a photographer and look forward to using him in the future! You will not be disappointed with choosing Jon Adams Photography for your special day! -
