Johnson's Customs cakes was fantastic to work with from requesting the tasting to choosing and decorating how we wanted our cake. They even included the anniversary tier which we are now able to save for next year. The flavors were all really good, we chose the fresh strawberry and tropical.

Magical just magical. Yumi created the most beautiful wedding cake I could have ever imagined. I want to start my review talking about Yumi! What a sweet kind amazing woman. She was absolutely incredible to work with. You can tell she loves what she does and she does is so well and so beautifully and takes such pride. I came to her with a unique request for my wedding cake and several different pictures of what I was trying to create. I wasn’t quite sure it was possible. Yumi took one look at my ideas and said “I got this” and OMG did she. She created a cake that took my breath away. It was more incredible and beautiful than what I envisioned. And the flavors!!! The hardest part of the cake experience was narrowing down which flavor was the best. We finally decided on chocolate with oreo filling for the bottom layer and keylime for the middle and top layers. Everyone was RAVING about the cake! PLEASE look no further for the best tasting cake and the most amazing people to work with for any special occasion. They will bring your vision to life.

Delicious cake!
Johnson’s cakes was a pleasure to work with! Yumi designed our wedding cake EXACTLY how we envisioned it. The cake tasting was so much fun and she was realistic about how many people could eat from each tier, which flavors would blend well together, and what the design we wanted would look like. She was prompt the day of and when we arrived to the ballroom, the cake was perfect. You can trust Yumi will do a fantastic job and you will have nothing to worry about. We highly recommend! Thank you yumi! We cannot wait to eat our top tier for our anniversary!

Best wedding cake EVER!
Yumi is the absolute sweetest! She is very responsive and ensures that she makes exactly what you want. We had to postpone our wedding by a year- initially we had a different cake vendor and we were not thrilled by it. We met with Yumi a year later and we struggled to pick a flavor because ALL of her cakes are so good! Every single one of our guests thought the cake was deliscious and gorgeous!! I literally can't say enough wonderful things about Yumi and Johnson's Custom Cakes!! She is just the best!!! Thank you for making our dream cake ♡

Accommodating for a gluten sensitive bride!
Johnson’s Custom Cakes did an incredible job for our wedding cake! One of the first things I noticed when I walked into the reception was the absolute stunner of a cake they made. It looked exactly like the photos on Pinterest! I wanted an all buttercream cake without fondant and they made it look elegant and polished. Our flavors were red velvet and cookie dough and our family raved about both. I’m also gluten sensitive and they were extremely accommodating. I had a side cake made gluten free so I could enjoy the night without stomach pain. 10/10 service and our cake was delicious!

Amazing cake!
Great tasting cake with so many great flavors to choose from! The design was beautiful and looked just as we had imagined! Communication between the vendor and client could have been better, but it wasn’t a big issue. The owner also suggested not saving the top tier (since it never tastes as good) and she would have the top tier baked freshly for our one year! Very sweet!

The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious! We chose funfetti and red velvet. I am not normally a fan of red velvet, but it was so good! We had a nautical themed wedding and when we met with Ashley the first time she drew out the cake. She had such a vision for the cake right away. Rope (icing) , ribbon (icing), a compass rose, an anchor and our initials. Such an art and talent. I would definitely use them again!

I can't say enough about Jennifer and her team at Johnson's Custom Cakes! For my daughter's wedding we did a three tier naked cake and also a full dessert bar. The guests at the wedding are still talking about how beautiful and delicious everything was.

We just got married in June at the Waterstone Resort and Marina and Johnson's Custom Cakes did an unbelievable job on our cake! Jennifer sat right down with us and wanted to know our theme and the details of our wedding. With just a few descriptions of details she had the sketch and design made up on on paper in no time! She was even able to make a small side cake to match for my husband who has a dairy allergy. We were absolutely blown away by the finished product! Our guests are still talking about our cake and it tasted delicious, just like the sample tastings tasted! I would hands down use Johnson's Cakes again in a heartbeat for my next special occasion. I was so nervous that I wouldn’t get any offers so close to the wedding, but Johnson’s Custom Cakes responded immediately! I had asked for a very intricate cake (the DeLorean car from Back to the Future) and Jennifer and her team surely delivered. It was one of the highlights of the wedding. Stunning Cake - Catered to my Gluten Allergy! :)
I used Johnson's Custom Cakes for my wedding cake and I couldn't have been happier. The 5-tier cake was GORGEOUS and covered in fondant rosettes, and guests were **raving** about how delicious the cake was!!! Their cake is scrumptious and the frosting and buttercream....drooollll. They created a custom shimmery champagne/ivory color for me and worked with me to come up with a beautiful design. I have a gluten allergy so when we went in for the tasting I was expecting my fiance to be trying everything for me, but to my surprise they had a separate gluten free tasting tray for me!! Let's just say I left the store with quite the sugar rush =) They were so kind and created a gluten free top layer on my cake, AND, they even created a second gluten free tier, separate from the cake, to freeze and eat next year on our anniversary. Thank you so much for making me feel special and for the perfect cake!!!!

We're so lucky that Johnson's Custom Cakes came with our wedding package. Even though the cake was part of the package, we still got to fully customize our wedding cake with the flavors, colors, and total design! The cannoli filling with vanilla cake and pineapple coconut filling in a coconut cake were absolutely amazing. Delicious! I’m allergic to dairy products and my groom did not want a vegan cake, but I did. Low and behold Johnson’s Custom Cakes went above and beyond to give us both what we wanted. I got a gorgeous and elegant cake that was perfectly matched with our overall wedding and my groom got a delicious tasting cake that all of our guests loved. I also got my dream of vegan cupcakes, which my groom and I swapped at the cake cutting instead of a slice of cake. The cupcakes were a beautiful addition with rose icing decoration on top. I also requested that the top (anniversary) layer be vegan, but they didn’t want it to ruin the overall look since the icing would be a different color so they gave us that top layer as a vegan cake separately and included the top layer for the guests. Basically Johnson’s Custom Cakes went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and got everything we wanted. I’m very impressed by the professionalism and excellent tasting cakes as well as how easy it was working with them. Johnson’s Custom Cakes is the best cake vendor in South Florida. Definitely recommend them!!!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the team at Johnson's Custom Cakes! Our venue happens to work with them and our cake was included, but even if that weren't the case, I would do it over again and not change a thing. The tasting and initial consultation to design the cake was so easy - which is a blessing when you are an out-of-town bride. They were super responsive and worked with my husband and I to give us the cake of our dreams, which as it turns out, was a tower of cupcakes! They let us choose around 7 different flavors since they were all SO DELICIOUS and even sent my husband home with an extra of his favorite one after our meeting :-) Everything looked terrific and tasted even better than it looked! Jennifer Johnson and her entire team are exceptional artists and bakers. I had a very special request in that I have severe allergies to all food coloring and additives. They were able to not only accommodate my request, but provide a gorgeous, moist and delicious cake. After the tasting, we selected a half vanilla/ chocolate cake with Italian cannoli cream filling with a beautiful overall rose design. Our guests raved about the freshness of the cake. I wish that you could taste the cannoli cream wedding cake! Not only was this 4 tiered cake with rosettes GORGEOUS,it was the most delicious cake. Since I am allergic to all food coloring, Jennifer totally understood that I didn’t want to sacrifice beauty and taste when selecting the cake. She created a layered cake with the fresh cannoli cream- all of our guests remarked how delectable the cake was. I’m looking forward to our next Event cake. We received so many compliments on our 4-tiered cake with vanilla rum and pineapple coconut filling with a swiss merengue buttercream icing. The icing was incredible!! The flavors were so rich and it all blended well together. Each tier was so thick that we had lots of cake to share and take home too. Johnson’s Custom Cakes was recommended to me by my wedding venue. After doing a tasting with them and another bakery, my husband and I decided to hire Johnson’s Custom Cakes because of the texture of their cake and the flavor combinations. Jennifer (the owner and head baker) took our ideas and aesthetic into consideration and recommended 3 cakes (instead of one) in coordinating designs and each with its own flavor. I’m also happy to say that the cakes looked as beautiful as they were delicious. During and after the wedding everyone kept telling us how delicious the cakes were. (My husband’s and my favorite was the vanilla cake with pineapple and coconut swiss meringue and pineapple puree). I’m so glad I hired them for my wedding cakes and I’m already looking forward to asking them to replicate the top tier for our anniversary.

Have you ever dreamt of your wedding cake only to be told that it cannot be done? Have you ever asked for just one type of filling and have been told that it is not possible? Well, let me tell you that Jennifer is a miracle worker! After being told "no" by several bakeries on our cannoli cream cake, we contacted Johnson's Custom Cakes and almost gave up all hope. Not only did she deliver us one of the most delicious, moist, and creamy wedding cakes I have ever had the pleasure of tasting (and that is not just my bias...my guests told me the same thing), she made up for everyone ELSE's mistake by making me a Bride's Cake of nothing but cannoli's and chocolate covered strawberries!!!! And the Groom's Cake?! I had a vision in mind and the end result COMPLETELY surpassed them. It was amazing and I cannot thank Jennifer enough for her amazing work, patience, and dedication.

Johnson's was the preferred vendor from our venue (PGA National) and even if they were not, we would have picked them anyway! Jennifer and team are amazing, very responsive, accommodating and most importantly the cakes are out of this world delicious. I still have people texting me about how delicious our cake was. I described my vision during our tasting and Jennifer drew it out for me and gave amazing suggestions to make it even better. Look no further, this is the team you need to use for a beautiful and amazing tasting cake!!

Johnson's custom cakes entire team really takes the time to understand what your vision is and guides you into picking out your dream cake and desserts! The dessert table for my bridal shower is all my guests could talk about, it not only looked spectacular but tasted even better!!!! Can't wait for my wedding cake in a month!!!

Jennifer was a dream to work with! She listened to our vision, and made it come alive in the form of a delicious cake! We had a 5 tier buttercream cake, that was classic and tasted amazing! We went with 3 flavors (Red Velvet, Almond & Pineapple) and it's hard to pick a favorite, but the almond cake was out of this world. Jennifer was very professional to work with and you can really tell that she has a passion for what she does. Usually wedding cakes just look pretty, but thanks to Jennifer, not only was it stunning to look at, it tasted AMAZING!

We asked Jennifer Johnson for a rustic cake that would resemble a tree bark. Jennifer is so talented! She drew a sketch of the cake for us and shaded it in while we were at the cake tasting. We were so impressed and couldn't wait to see what the final product would look like. We have one word for the cake AMAZING! Our guests loved the filling which was coconut pineapple with vanilla cake. We were told the cake was unique and people don't normally have cakes like this at their weddings! We would recommend Jennifer to everyone who is looking for that unique cake!

Jennifer's cake was not only beautiful but delicious! We had a wonderful time at our tasting and Jennifer was able to take my ideas and words and put them on paper to create my dream cake. We used Johnson's Custom Cakes to make our wedding cake and it was one of the best decisions we've made! The cake was so delicious that I still have guests complementing it. Jennifer was great to work with and wanted to make sure our vision was completely captured. She took her time at our tasting and explain every flavor in full detail. We decided on half chocolate / half carrot cake and it was perfect. We cannot wait for our one year anniversary just to be able to eat the top layer of cake. :) 5 stars all the way!

Jennifer at Johnson's custom cakes is an absolute joy! It was very easy to work with her and she had great vision for what I wanted without me even knowing exactly what that was. The cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! All of my guests commented on how much they loved the cake.
On top of all of the stresses that wedding day can bring, my wedding just so happened to be scheduled the weekend of what was to be one of the worst hurricanes in history (luckily we didn't get the worst of it). Jennifer was THE FIRST person to call me to reassure me that rain, shine, hurricane or flood, no matter what she had to do, I would have wedding cake at my wedding!! Her support and dedication alone meant more to me than I could ever say, and she came through brilliantly with a stunning cake that was the talk of the wedding! Even though the wedding happened a day later than we thought and in the morning instead of the evening, Jennifer's cake truly helped make our day even more special. THANK YOU, JENNIFER!

Not only was the owner super nice in fitting us in on a time crunch (I may have forgotten that I needed to order a cake) but she nailed the design I wanted within the first 5 minutes. Everything she gave us to try was amazing, you can not go wrong with any of her cake flavors! I generally am not the biggest fan of chocolate but hers I would have made an exception for! Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning and everyone mentioned how much they liked it- a few of our groomsmen even stole their dates cake while they were on the dance floor because they wanted more! I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

Jennifer from Johnson's Custom Cakes made us the cake of our dreams. We had a certain level of quality and service we were looking for, as well as style, and Jennifer exceeded them all. Our cake was a glamorous, round, 4 tier creation with shimmer fondant, quilting and bands of jewels. Jennifer also made us another cake in the theme of Nightmare Before Christmas. It was perfect with Jack, Sally, and Zero characters created out of fondant. Our day was made even more perfect because of Johnson's Custom Cakes. Jennifer was so accommodating when we originally met with her. She was extremely busy and was meeting with couples one after another but was always focused on us when she was meeting with us. She listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions, which were spot on. When she suggested a strawberry short cake (with strawberries and cream filling) I knew she needed to do our wedding cake because my grandmother would make us strawberry shortcake as kids and yes, I believe in signs! Jennifer and her staff are top-notch and the presentation was so perfect, better than I could have ever imagined! Super yummy cake too!

She went above and beyond by providing a delicious gluten free chocolate cake with raspberry filling that we could cut and feed each other during the reception because I (the bride) have a gluten allergy. This, my friends she made in addition to our beautiful tiered red velvet (red was our accent color) wedding cake with cream cheese filling. Our guests raved about how delicious it was! several asked who make it and others who went back for more commented that they usually don't like red velvet cakes! The cake was gorgeous!! Jennifer is truly a wonderful talent! With just a picture idea and some ideas thrown at her she was able to create my perfect wedding cake design in a matter of minutes! It was like she just knew exactly what I wanted. I very much appreciated that there was never any pressure to go outside our initial budget, even after several changes. Being an out-of-state bride I was nervous when I had to call to make changes unseen, but she assured me and true to her word it came out just perfect! It was a very easy process to have her work in collaboration with our florist to decorate the cake with real flowers to match our bouquets (something important to me).
Jennifer offers a true passion for her work that is evident not just in her fame, but in each of her works, even our sample session!

We absolutely LOVED our wedding cake from Johnson's Custom Cakes! Jennifer and her team were amazing. They took my vision and completely brought it to life. The cake itself was delicious. You always wonder if it will taste the same on your wedding night as it did at the tasting, and it definitely tasted exactly the same! I had many guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted! They also made mini desserts for our rehearsal dinner which was a huge hit. Everyone loved them. Jen went above and beyond to provide my sister with her fairytale dream cake and even created a small, Cinderella castle that sat next to the cake to add an extra touch, when it was supposed to be a small cake topper. Being a local event/wedding planner and my sister's made of honor, I knew everything was going to be taken care of and would taste delicious! I did not have to worry at all about what was going to show up nor how it was going to taste. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone inquiring about a cake or desserts and will continue to recommend to my future clients.

Awesome! Jennifer is such a sweet lady who will bend over backwards for her customers. She was very helpful and the cake testing was great! So many choices. We even hand fresh out of the oven cake to try. We were able to have 3 different flavors on our 3 tier cake. She designed it exactly how we wanted and even make our topper to look like us (dressed as Mario and Princess Peach). I would certainly recommend her to anyone!

Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and our cakes were beautiful. I wanted a unique rustic cake and cake topper and she just nailed it on the head. She even made our cake topper to be an exact replica of the cowboy boots my husband and I wore to our wedding! She is extremely talented and I loved working with her. She made us a suprise grooms cake that was a fire hydrant with an axe to replicate my husbands hometown volunteer fire department and we included the groomsmen helmets on it and was the perfect surprise and I couldn't ask for more. Highly reccomend them and everyone raved about how great the cake tasted!

Johnson's Custom Cakes has by far the best tasting cake in the area. They were so easy to work with and were very quick with correspondence. I described what I wanted my cake to look like and they completely exceeded my expectations. My cake was beautiful and tasted AMAZING! My guests are still raving about it!

We could not be more pleased with our experience with Jennifer and Johnson's Custom Cakes from start to finish! She was really helpful with the design and suggestions... and we really felt like she was trying to help make our cake really special. THe cake was beautiful... but more importantly it was delicious!! Our friends still talk about how great the cake was!

This vendor was a dream to work with! Jennifer Johnson met with me specifically after I signed my contract because I was feeling unsure of what I wanted. She assured me that my cake would be beautiful. A couple days before my wedding, she called and thought it would look incomplete with just ribbon, so she asked for my florists' name, contacted them herself, ordered some extra of my flowers, and added them to the cake. It was PERFECT! It also tasted delicious! I have received so many compliments on the cake, more than any other aspect of my wedding,

We worked with Jennifer. She is absolutely amazing to work with. Very kind, very sweet. I just read the review below and in Jennifer's defense, the first time she met with us she immediately told us she is bad with remembering names. Who wouldn't though? She has so many orders. When it came down to the day, she produced EXACTLY what we wanted and what we spoke about. A beautiful cake that tasted absolutely delicious. We HIGHLY recommend this vendor. We had the almond cake with bavarian cream and fresh strawberries. YUM!

Jennifer and her staff were so amazing. The cake tasting was so much fun. She offered us so many varieties of combinations for our cake. I was absolutely amazed at how beautiful our cake turned out the day of the wedding. Everyone loved it and we received so many compliments about how delicious it was. EAGLE SCOUT CEREMONY....CAKE OF ALL CAKES!!!
We, and all 70 of our guests, were THRILLED beyond belief at the
cake that Jennifer created for our son! This one-of-a-kind cake told
the story of my son's life thru scouting; from Tiger to Eagle! Absolutely
amazing & I still (2 years later!) hear compliments of it's appearance and
taste. The next year Jennifer created a shark cake (3 D) for our son's 19th
birthday...looked exactly like a wet, real shark, right out of the ocean!!
Her cakes are the center piece to any party or celebration...they make the
theme perfect & unique every time!!!

Jennifer at Johnson's has a gift. She is extremely friendly and made my vision come to life! We just had our wedding this past Saturday and she did my cake and my fiance's cake. Everyone who had the cake told me they ate all of if and it was amazing. When we had them bring out the groom's cake (Philadelphia Eagle's Helmet) everyone, including myself were in awe! It was the most incredible looking and tasting cake. The attention to detail right down to stitching was amazing! Thank you so much!

BEST CAKE EVER! My bridal shower cake, groom's cake, and wedding cake came from Johnson's. Right from the tasting I knew this was the vendor for me. They let you taste all the flavors and fillings (not just chocolate and vanilla like some other bakers!). The cake is DELICIOUS with so many options. I went to them with an idea for a wedding cake and they made awesome suggestions that made my cake perfect. For my groom's cake I sent them a picture of my husband's favorite guitar and they replicated it amazingly! Did I say it tastes AWESOME? No issues with set up or delivery's. They truly were a joy to do business with and I would recommend them to anyone!

Oh my goodness! Not only did our cake look great, it tasted even better! My husband said that he wanted a vanilla and chocolate marble cookie dough cake, and they made it happen! Everyone loved it! They make great cakes!

Our cake tasted great and was gorgeous! Exactly what we wanted. Everyone loved it, and it was secretly lactose free (I’m lactose intolerant, and it was important for me to be able to eat my cake… no one even knew it was different!). The key lime tarts we used for our favors were a hit, too!

Jennifer was wonderful to work with and our wedding cake was not only delicious but looked fabulous as well! The design matched the exactly what we had talked about and we could not have been happier with the results. I met personally with the baker and not only was she fantastic, but all of the cakes that she brought to the tasting her delicious! The final product totally exceeded our expectations (both in appearance and in taste) and we got several comments about it. Also, I felt her pricing was very, very reasonable.

At first I had an issue with Johnson's cake. They spilled the beans to my husband twice. I understand it isn't their job to keep it a secret but, I was still disappointed.
When we saw the cake it was BETTER than we expected. It was MASSIVE and the dirtbike helmet was EXACTLY what I wanted and more. They even put the small details in that we never would have thought. Only reason why they receive a 4 is because of the spilling of the beans.

This vendor takes the cake! From the second we had our cake tasting, we fell in love with her cakes an her infectious attitude! Jennifer Johnson can make any bride's dream come to life! I am not a sweets person, but I do love Reese's peanut butter cups. She made sure she had an icing just for me to taste that was this flavor and I was floored. She was so flexible with the designs we wanted and more excite about making this cake than I was! We loved her so much that our birthday cakes, bridal shower cakes, and rehearsal dinner cakes all came from her! Her team is great and the delivery was flawless. Couldn't have asked for a better cake! All my guests wanted more!!

I went to a couple bridal shows and tasted many samples of cake. I was not sure of who to book. I booked the Palm Beach Marriott near Cityplace for my venue and they said their preferred vendor is Johnson's cakes. I still was not sure until Wellington magazine had a food and wine competition. Wellington magazine named Johnson's cakes as the best cake. That piece of information has put my mind at ease. During the tasting session each sample of cake was delicious. It was hard for me and my love to make a decision on which flavor. I designed my cake and they were able to take my ideas and create it. It was the most beautiful and elegant cake I've ever seen. There's a reason why they are a preferred vendor for certain venues.

We just had our wedding this past Saturday and words can't even describe how overjoyed we were with the result of Jennifer's work. It was simply to die for. Stunning would do our cake no justice because it was simply a masterpiece. Everything we asked for we received and then some. I was able to see my cake prior to the wedding because as promised , my cake was delivered very early therefore allowing me to see my cake before any guests arrived. I highly recommend Jennifer's services to any bride to be because your expectations will be superseded and more! Definitely a cake and a day I will never forget for the rest of my life. The ladies at Johnson's Custom Cakes have increbidle creative talent. Their work on our wedding cake was gorgeous! They were professional and helpful throughout the entire process. There was only one time were I had to follow-up an e-mail I had sent that got no repsonse, but they were incredibly apologetic. With our cake we gave them quiet a few challenges by combining several different cakes and creating a topper from scratch. They pulled it all together and they outcome was beautiful! We were very please as were our guests with the quality of the cake and the aesthetics.

Our wedding venue partners with Johnson's Custom Cakes so I cannot comment on pricing as it was included in the booking of our venue, but my goodness was the cake delicious. There were so many flavor options to choose from and we went with two different flavor combinations because we had a 3-tier cake (1. almond with dulce de leche and 2. carrot cake). One of our wedding guests mentioned how wedding cake normally isn't worth the calories, but ours was an exception. Everybody loved both flavors! I found a design online that I really liked and brought a picture to our tasting and Johnson's Custom Cakes was able to replicate it perfectly!

Jennifer and her team did a wonderful job on a three-tier cake for our wedding. It was delicious and we received many compliments on the carrot cake. She also specially made a peanut butter/chocolate layer for us, which was also great. We intend to have her make a mini cake for us for our 1st anniversary. Thank you for the great work!

We saw several cake companies and Jennifer was the best. She took the idea I had and incorporated my colors and it was absolutely perfect. When we looked for cost saving ideas she was ready with them as well. And everyone thought the cake was stunning and it was exactly what I pictured and tasted delicious! Her cake combinations were by far our favorite. She was absolutely wonderful!
