We hired Johnnie for day-of / month-of wedding coordination and we loved working with her! Communication, payment and scheduling were easy and simple. She was very professional and did a great job taking over the last month so we didn’t get overwhelmed by all of the month-of tasks. Our wedding went off without a hitch and there weren’t any issues that we were aware of. Our guests had an amazing time and so did we! Johnnie made sure we could enjoy our special night and the days leading up to it to the fullest. -

I have worked with Johnnie on a number of corporate events - she has created beautiful balloon pillars, including custom prints to distinguish my events. She is informative and helpful - and when I forgot some of my own balloons she was able to help out with her inventory. I had many questions and she was patient and thorough in her replies - allowing me to understand the process and feel prepared. -

Johnnie was wonderful to work with when planning our wedding! She was helpful in finding vendors, communicated with us from start to finish, was flexible with our busy schedules, and really cared about us having a once in a lifetime event. She's very organized and thorough. She was also very helpful in incorporating unique elements into our wedding that made it feel personal and special. Her decoration skills were amazing and the whole reception and ceremony area were beautiful thanks to her. She was also wonderful on the day of, making sure we had a fun time and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Johnnie is so great to work with! -

Johnnie designed our dream wedding
Johnnie went above and beyond when it came to delivering our dream wedding. Johnnie came in on a very tight timeline, sourced amazing vendors, coordinated a seamless day, and designed an absolutely beautiful wedding. She designed our florals, both my bouquet and our tablescapes, and everyone loved both. She was an amazing planner and coordinator. Our other vendors even commented on how great her communication was leading up to the wedding day. She calmed my nerves at every turn and made the day a breeze. We felt so blessed to just have fun and celebrate with our guests on our wedding day while Johnnie was seamlessly making everything happen. I’m even grateful for the moments when she would slyly hand me something to eat during the reception, because I don’t think I would’ve had a bite if not for her. She was truly a lifesaver for our wedding. I’m so glad we found Johnnie. If you need a planner, coordinator, or designer I highly recommend Johnnie & Co. Events. -

Johnnie was my day of coordinator for my wedding and honesty I wish I would have just hired her to do the full planning. Very detailed oriented, communication was transparent and any need I could have possibly of had she was already on it. she kept my vision in mind and made little details finer. For the timeline she included times that became special to my husband and I; like having some time right after the ceremony to ourselves. She thinks of everything! She also provided several awesome vendors and she is crafty. If you can’t find it she can probably make it. -

We hired Johnnie based on the recommendation of my sister, who had used Johnnies services for her own wedding a few months prior. We initially thought we wouldn’t need a coordinator, as we were keeping the wedding relatively simple (limited vendors, limited decorations, limited headcount [~100]). We decided to err on the side of caution and book Johnnies services as a “Day of” coordinator. All I can really say is I can’t believe how naive we were. Even with our “limited” needs, it would have quickly overwhelmed us and become a full-time job, which we already had. Johnnie took control of coordinating with the vendors we booked, helping us put together the final timeline for the day-of, made sure the venue looked amazing, made sure we were taken care of throughout the whole day, and then worked with the vendors to ensure the venue was clean and that anything of ours was returned to us later. She is the bulldog you want in your corner should anything even slightly go amiss, because she won’t back down. She is also just a generally wonderful and kind person who puts you and your vision at the forefront of everything she does for you. If you are looking for a kind, competent, and creative coordinator, Johnnie is your girl. 5 out of 5 stars. -

Our wedding was postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID. This year we decided to finally do this thing. With two months to finalize plans. And a budget of roughly $6K. Our wedding coordinator, photographer, and caterer were no longer available. I posted in one of my Facebook groups looking for help and Johnnie came to the rescue right away. She helped us narrow down food options and find affordable entertainment, HMU, and photography.
Our wedding was a super casual lakeside affair. Our venue was a former girl scout camp and we had weekend events all over the grounds. Once the golf cart got there, Johnnie was zooming around, making sure that everyone and everything were where they needed to be when they needed to be there. She went above and beyond, and if there were any hiccups in our big day I didn’t (and still don’t) know about them. I don’t think you can ask for anything more.
I highly recommend hiring Johnnie and Co Events for your event planning needs!!

Johnnie provided month-of-coordination and partial planning services for our May 2022 wedding. She KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and definitely would not have gone so smoothly without her help, care, and attention to details.
Her professionalism and patience both made the entire planning process manageable and less intimidating, and her guidance really helped us to craft an event that felt like ours :)
I enjoyed working with Johnnie so much that I recommended her to my sister, who is working with Johnnie on HER upcoming wedding! If that's not an endorsement, I'm not sure what is :)

Atlanta Spine utilized Johnnie & Co Events for our formal Holiday Gala! Her ballon display and custom balloons were a huge hit and took the decor to the next level! She was great to work with from beginning to end. Communication, timeliness and flexibility were all great! -

Similar to wedding planning, Johnnie did ALL the planning for 120 guests for a 50th Birthday Celebration for my husband: invitation, decor (hundreds upon hundreds of balloons), helium tank rentals, cake, food, drinks, DJ, clean-up. From planning to clean-up, she offered 110% with attention to detail and recommendations that improved the experience. She was also present at the event keeping track of the timeline, re-filling margarita machines and food tables, noting when to start speeches, birthday cake and closing comments. I hired her for a work related dinner event for 150 people directly afterward! Can't recommend highly enough! -

Johnnie & Co. directed my daughter’s October wedding at our home. It was a huge complicated production with 100 guests and Johnnie and her assistant made it all work. My daughter and her sisters arrived at the ceremony by canoe in formal attire on perfect musical cue! I still can’t believe Johnnie pulled everything off so perfectly! I can’t recommend her highly enough!! -

-We hired Johnnie as our day of coordinator for our wedding. COVID-19 made planning a wedding stressful, but Johnnie & Co. Events made it much less so. Johnnie and her team worked diligently prior to my wedding day to make sure everything went off without a hitch. She checked in with me (the bride) multiple times to see if she could help with anything. If you’re on the fence about a day-of-coordinator and are looking towards Johnnie & Co. Events for help, I say do it! I cannot thank Johnnie enough for her help throughout our engagement! I think it says a lot about her that she was not willing to give up on us because we wanted to continue our wedding during this unprecedented time! This is a coordinator who will stick by you and make sure the job gets done, and done well. -

Johnnie created a balloon wall for my wedding and it was fabulous. So many people commented on how beautiful it looked. It was the perfect place to take photos. Johnnie was professional, timely, and efficient! Highly recommend. -

I worked with Johnnie towards the end of the planning process which can be super stressful! She was able to take things step by step and helped me get more organized and motivate me to work on things I was slacking on. She’s very organized, flexible, and responsive. Johnnie also helped with my bridal shower decors and photo booth/seating chart decors at our wedding, which turned out beautifully. we appreciate everything she did for us! -
