Experienced and Talented Photographer

John went above and beyond. At our engagement session, his relaxed demeanor really set us at ease. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and our photos turned out natural and absolutely beautiful. We knew at that point that we had picked the right photographer. On our wedding day, John did not disappoint; he covered everything with ease, took a lot of amazing photos and didn't take up too much time out of our wedding day.

John was absolutely amazing! He made all of us feel comfortable on our whole wedding day. He captured all of our important moments and didn't miss a thing. He also captured special moments that we didn't anticipate. John delivered beautiful images that absolutely exceeded our expectations. One of the BEST!!

John is very experienced, knowledgeable, and a true professional. He was always prompt, very friendly and approachable, and made us feel at ease throughout our engagement session and wedding. He listened to our ideas and incorporated them seamlessly into the shoot. He was also always ready and fully prepared for every situation. All of the photos were beautiful and captured the fun and emotion of our special day!

Very Skilled and Professional Photographer

Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

John and his 2nd photographer were very knowledgable about weddings in general, they had a plan for everything and rolled easily with so of the last minute unexpected changes we had to make. Both were extremely friendly and made our family and guests feel comfortable and really added to the enjoyment of our day. They were simply a pleasure to be around. They took an incredible amount of amazing, emotion-filled photographs while not demanding a lot of time out of our day. Also towards the end of the night, he pulled us outside for a quick night shot. It only took two minutes, but it's honestly one of our favorite photos, and it's going on a canvas over our fireplace!

John and his assistant made a very comfortable through the whole day (we don't like having our photos taken). They just made it relaxed and easy and delivered incredible images. My husband, family and I would definitely recommend them for any wedding!

Captured a lot of Emotion!!

John's photos captured a lot of emotion, with my husband and I and our family and guests! His portraits and detail shots were very artistic and thoughtful. He took great care to make sure everything was covered and also pulled us aside briefly in the evening for a beautiful night shot. In the end, he was very pleasant to work with and his photos were amazing!

John and his assistant Sarah were both very professional and friendly. They were well prepared and handled the rain on our wedding day with ease. They arrived early and stayed late. We received about 1000 incredible photos in an online gallery that was easy to share and the photobook was way beyond our expectations!

He has so much experience which calmed my wedding planning angst immensely. Great Wedding Photographer

John T. Morgan Photography did a great job of capturing all of the sweet, funny, and emotional moments of our wedding day! All of the pictures turned out great, he was really flexible of when he arrived and where (we had him come to 3 locations and because they were all so close in proximity he didn't charge extra). I was really impressed with all of the picturers, and the price wasn't super crazy. I know some photographers charge a lot more for the same quality of pictures. Overall, I would 100% recommend this photographer to anyone! Even if you feel awkward taking pictures and don't know how to pose (which is my husband and I), John guides you in poses and helps to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera!

Truly fantastic!

John was fantastic to work with. He was ALWAYS there to capture the moment every time you turned around. I felt like I was all over the place with pictures, dinner, dancing, etc. and he was always there with us. We never had to worry about the photographer missing anything. He was very professional and made us feel comfortable being in front of the camera for a lot of the day. He came up with new ideas for photos and knew exactly what would look good. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!
John was able to capture the entire day beautifully from start to finish. He was very easy going, and very accommodating. Somehow he was able to get my husband and I to have natural smile all day! Everyone from the bridal party to friends and family commented multiple times on how nice and friendly John is.

The photographer you choose isn't just a vendor, they are a person there to help celebrate your big day and you are going to remember them for the rest of your life. You want to be stress free and know that the job will get taken care of. John is your guy. Not once did I worry or question his talent.

Great Photographer!

You spend a great deal of time with your photographer on your wedding day. This is not something my husband and I thought about prior to booking John to photograph our wedding, but I am so happy that we did! Our wedding-day portrait session was fun and low stress. He helped us with our wedding day timeline, as well as, various logistical problems that came up. A co-worker of mine referred me to John. He had photographed her wedding many years ago and did a great job. We hired him to photograph our wedding this last summer and he did a wonderful job! John did a phenomenal job on our wedding photos! He was very prompt and helpful with emails. On the day of the wedding he guided us through the photos which we were so thankful for since it relieved some of the stress off of us. He captured everything we requested and more! It was such a pleasure working with John! He's so nice, accommodating, and talented. We did an engagement session with him in South Haven, and the pictures came out AMAZING! We used them around our venue for the actual wedding and got loads of compliments from our guests on them. On the actual wedding day, John came to scope out the venue early and took many photos. He has a great eye for photo ops, like the perfect sunset photos! Cannot wait for the wedding photos to come back!

John always seemed to catch every important detail including shots of our decorations and cake. John was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I both felt really comfortable with him. He is very professional, from first meeting to the day of to getting our pictures ready for us. He did a great job taking pictures from us getting ready through the reception. John blended in and went with the flow of the day. He took awesome pictures and we were really happy with all the shots he took, with a variety of settings and camera lenses. He was willing to take charge when needed to wrangle people in for photos, but was also receptive to our requests. One thing I thought was cool was that a lot of our guests mentioned how friendly he was and that they really liked him. I would definitely recommend John for a wedding photographer!

Amazing engagement and wedding photos! Truly captured the excited, emotion, and spirit of the entire event. John Morgan was wonderful to work with during our wedding process. We planned our wedding from out of state and any questions we had during the process were answered very promptly. When we decided to go with John we happened to be in Michigan for the weekend and he did not hesitate to set up our engagement photo shoot on 24 hour notice.

On our wedding day he was very professional, captured wonderful shots, and was an overall joy to work with.

Since then he has continued to answer questions, be prompt and work with us even after our wedding.

We worked directly with John for our wedding. He was extremely professional, punctual, and responsive. My bride and I wanted our pictures to be more on the formal side, since we aren't in to a lot of the silly pictures. John was great and understood exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day, he took all of the pictures that we wanted, recommended a lot of other great shots, and during the reception he gave us our space. Lastly, we got our pictures back in under two weeks!! I would most definitely recommend John to anyone else looking for a great photographer in Southwest Michigan.

USE this Wedding Photographer. Amazing!! He did our engagement photos and our Wedding/Reception photos. I had a woman follow me to the salon and take pictures of all of us getting ready and getting our hair done. She was so kind and sweet and funny and talented.

John took so many photos, he captures those sweet and amazing and funny and silly moments. I don't think he took his finger off his camera at all during our Wedding or reception.

Would recommend him to anyone!

John was incredible. My husband and I are from South Dakota, and he was able to work with our crazy work schedules and long distance planning to get everything perfect. He took the PERFECT pictures the day of our wedding, along with all the details that we included on the wedding day -- MORE THAN PLEASED!!! My only problem is narrowing down the photos to fit in the photobook!!! :) Thank you for the wonderful experience, John!!

John was a fantastic addition to our engagement photos and wedding day. His talent is amazing and we have more photos that we love than we have walls to display! His ability in low lighting settings is incredible as our ceremony was in a wine cellar. In addition to being a great photographer, he is a great person and ninja like. I never saw him once during the ceremony taking photos and he got some amazing shots. We will most definitely be using him in the future with family photos!

I love the pictures John took at our wedding! He had great formal shots and a ton of candids and photojournalistic shots. Looking through the pictures is like living our wedding day all over again. Thanks so much John for the incredible photos and making it so fun and easy!

My husband and I do not like having our picture taken, but John made it very comfortable, easy and fun. And the pictures turned out great. We love the way he captured us. Plus, he was always on top of everything. He was also very prompt answering emails and calls and had answer to questions that showed he knew what he has a lot of experience. Thank you John! We would recommend you to anybody!

Amazing! We got our photos 2 weeks after our wedding day and they were truly amazing. I can't express how much I love the photos. John was so knowledgeable and experienced and it really showed while taking our pictures. He also made the whole process so easy for us. Don't hesitate to use John, he is a first class photographer!

We just worked with John as the photographer for our wedding and he was amazing! John was very easy to work with and fun. On your wedding day the last thing you want is some pushy guy telling you where to stand or making you feel uncomfortable. John was the exact opposite of that. He made my wife and I feel very comfortable and it was obvious that he was there to make everything easy and enjoyable for us. Our location for where we were going to take pictures changed at the last minute and John adjusted and rolled with the punches. I was very pleased with his service and would highly recommend him.

John was not only very professional, he was on top of everything on wedding day! I didn't think that I would forget about anything, but of course I did. I did not go without any pictures that I truly wanted. He was on time and very good to everyone around. He has a very creative eye and takes great photographs!

Wow, what can I even say other than AMAZING work! John was incredibly professional when he needed to be professional and friendly and personable when he needed. He put our wedding guests and bridal party at ease during photos; which is not easy with a group of people who are not eager to have their pictures taken. We got our pictures back in a week and a half!! He said we would get them in 2-3 weeks so I assumed it would be at the end of the third week since most other photographers we met with had much longer turnaround times. It was such a nice surprise to get them so soon! After viewing the photos I was impressed with how well he was able to capture our feelings in the pictures. There was so much emotion in so many of the pictures it allows us to really relive the moments of our wedding as we go through the pictures. One of my bridesmaids just got engaged and already asked me for John’s contact information because she was so impressed with his work. Having a good photographer for our wedding was one of our highest priorities so we were prepared to pay a lot for a good photographer. John’s work is just as good quality as the higher priced ones at a very reasonable price. We would have paid double for the quality of work he provided and the ease and friendliness during our wedding! We will definitely be calling him for pictures in the future when we start a family and we will recommend him to all of our friends as they get married! Thank you John!!

John shot my wedding in September 2012. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and fun. John made sure all all the classic wedding pictures and poses were taken without me having to worry that. This was awesome, as a bride you have so much on your mind and sometimes forget about certain pictures. The wedding was shot outside on a golf course and he made sure to include all the scenery and knew what shot would and wouldn't work due to the sun. Our pictures were done so quick and they were absolutely amazing. There was not one picture I didn't like! Anyone getting married in the West Michigan area, I would highly recommend John T. John really went over and above for us to make sure all our memories were captured on the wedding day. He showed up early to the church and stayed late at the reception. The value of the package we got was fantastic; easy to fit into our budget. He had our photo CD and photo book done and mailed to us in almost no time. His responsiveness to our requests were over the top. Believe it or not, our dog ate the wedding cds with all the photos on it. We emailed John who had our photos backed up, and he was able to send us extra copies of our wedding cds at no cost. Thank you John!

John and his assistant were amazing on our wedding day. I could not imagine our pictures being any better especially being it was scorching hot that day. They were both very professional and stayed quite a while at our reception to ensure he got all shots he could. He got a lot of more spontaneous fun pictures along with formals of our family and friends. John is very friendly in his personality as well as budget. We will be using him again in the future for sure. He was also very patient with me while I was like a chicken with my head cut off!! He contacted me when he had not heard from me or my husband to ensure he got the details he needed. Not all our vendors were this professional. We know lots of people getting married in the next year and will be recommending John to them!

Just got the pictures from my July wedding and I have to say I am very impressed. John did a fantastic job. My husband and I are both generally very camera shy and critical of pictures of ourselves. These pictures look amazing, and there are plenty to choose from when we make our photobook. John was easy to work with, reasonably priced, and most important, proved himself able to capture pictures we will cherish for a lifetime. Thanks John!

My husband and I appreciated that John was kind and punctual. We changed our day of plans a lot the week before and he accommodated us. We had no issues until we received our photos. We had provided him with a list of photos that we wanted and more than half were missing. The photos we got were nice but the crazy part was how few we got and how many were missing. Example, no picture of our entire wedding party, only a few pics of me dancing with my Dad, no pictures of our three flower girls together, one flower is only in some of the pics accidentally and there are none of her walking down the aisle, etc. The day is so crazy and you can't remember what you did and did not take and so you expect the photographer to guide you in that. You also expect him to pose people and give them guidance and there are so many unflattering pictures, crooked necklaces, flower girl dress all bunched up etc. We paid for the whole day and only received 750 pictures. I have friends who paid less and received thousands for a whole day. We are really disappointed that we can't ever get those moments back and now we have no photo of our wedding party together! If you work with John, just be very very clear about what you want and make sure you are taking note of what pictures are and are not being taken!
