  John was awesome, he was so nice and helpful. He took amazing pictures and we were so happy with our choice. He made us feel very comfortable and not awkward or too posed. I highly recommend picking John as your photographer!

  John was such a great and professional photographer to work with. Even when there was a time crunch, he worked right along with us and was flexible! I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. Our photos are beautiful and it will always bring a smile to my face!

  John S. was the best part of my whole entire wedding! This may sound a little bit politically incorrect, but as a woman, I am always wary about having a man take my photo, because I find they usually don't tell you if you have a tag sticking out, or a flyaway hair, but not John! He was really conscious about the little details, and wasn't afraid to find my best angles, and make sure that the really important photos were just right. The other thing that was great about him was that he caught so many candids, which was my biggest request. In the end, we had a nice mix of staged photos and candids, which turned out to be some of my absolute favorites of the night. I'm actually going to frame a few of the candids as gifts, they turned out so well! Another thing I really appreciated was the fact that John really rolled with the punches, particularly when dealing with the church, which, unbeknownst to us, had a few more rules than expected! He managed to come up with a few solutions for some last-minute hiccups during the ceremony, and I'll forever be thankful for that. If you're unsure of who to use for your wedding photographer, definitely don't hesitate - book John!!

  We found John last minute because our original photographer cancelled. All I can say is thank god! John knew we were stressed and used his personality, experience and just all around awesome presence to make my wife and I feel comfortable. Our guests loved him as well and keep raving about him.
  
  We received our pictures quickly, too! The albums and the photos blew us away.
  
  If you're considering John for your wedding, it will be the best decision you make (besides getting married lol)

  John was the consummate professional with a delightful personality. He knows that a wedding photographer's job is to capture those truly unique, special moments and he does so with a sort of ninja ease. :) I highly recommend him.

  As a photographer, one can imagine how particular I would be when selecting the right person to document my wedding day. John's documentary, yet artistic style created images that went above and beyond what we had imagined! He has the right combination of technical and artistic background to evaluate what needs to be done in a split second's time. He produced stunning photographs, completing enveloping himself within the moment. He understands all the nuances that feel the most meaningful but seem to disappear almost instantaneously, on such a momentous day. I cannot recommend him enough. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

  John is a true professional and gave us his absolute best on our wedding day. He was never intrusive and he captured the day beautifully. There is a gentle intimacy to his style that was exactly what we were looking for. He looked out for us with his careful coverage of the day making certain that every shot was taken without compromising our enjoyment of the wedding. He selected and edited our pictures in a very reasonable amount of time, always updating us and keeping us in the loop.
  I would recommend him to anyone. The pictures are gorgeous and his professionalism was above and beyond.

  John was a an integral part of our special day. He was flexible, easy to work with and made our vision come to life. During our run through prior to the big day, John listened to what we had to say and understood how we wanted the day to flow. Day of he was prompt, lead the photo taking process and helped us capture the important moments all in time for us to enjoy cocktail hour. We were really big on being able to enjoy the most of our big day and John helped us with that. We were able to take the pictures that we wanted and also enjoy time with family and friends. He did a great job capturing candid photos of us alongside our guests throughout the night as well.
