John was so amazing that after the ceremony our guests came up and asked us how we knew each other. Wonderful day for our wedding
John and his wife provided a fantastic day for my wife and I. He kept in close contact with us to make sure that everything would be ready for our big day. John arrived on time, called us before his arrival to let us know he was on the way. He offered a variety of services from deeply religious to non denominational. We chose a little of both. The flowers for my bride were fresh and beautiful. Both John and Denise arrived looking very well-dressed and were very professional. Most importantly, John and Denise truly enjoyed seeing the gathering of family and friends and celebrated with us. Lovely experience.

A perfect, intimate ceremony
Our intimate wedding ceremony went perfectly thanks to John’s professionalism and experience. We loved how our ceremony was delivered and we were even able to alter the ceremony on the day of thanks to John’s flexibility.

Saved our wedding day!
John is quite the amazing officiant. We had everything lined up to get married on top of a mountain in the Olympics when our previous officiant couldn’t make it. Days before our wedding, my husband, found John online. He was very responsive and in a short time we had everything lined up and our wedding would continue on our preferred day. John, his wife, and their beautiful pup hiked the 3.6 miles up- and back down, to Mt Lena on one of the hottest days we’ve had this year. John is extremely professional, charismatic, and was a joy to be married by. Without him, our wedding wouldn’t have been the same!

I messaged a number of local Wedding Officiants for my upcoming wedding. John responded literally the next day. I never heard from the others. John Rosendale was totally available and responsive. He was ready to do my wedding at my home exactly on the schedule I needed and wanted. He showed up early with his wonderful wife and helped us get everything taken care of and then he performed the perfect simple yet magnificent ceremony for us. He was a wonderful person with a very reassuring and charrming personality. He is a big jovial person that perfectly fits what I wanted for our home ceremony. He came out the day before the wedding and helped us figure out how the ceremony was going to happen, where to stand, when to start walking. He gave us a few tips and pointers that really helped on the day of. They day of the wedding, it started to rain (which we knew was going to happen, we just didn't know how much)! We decided to push the wedding start time 30 minutes later. I called John to let him know and he was really flexible about it! Everything that John said was beautiful! We are so pleased we found John Rosendale to perform our wedding ceremony! We wanted a small, intimate family gathering at an out-of-the-way scenic but public place, and John really helped make it come together in a very beautiful ceremony. We requested John’s “Complete Wedding Package” to fill in some details, and he was helpful and flexible to accommodate our needs. John wrote and delivered a wonderful and emotionally moving ceremony that incorporated the religious and family emphasis we wanted, including a family-coming-together “sand ceremony” at John’s suggestion. The Best Experience!
We used John years ago and I realized I never wrote a review for his amazing services. We used John as a wedding officiant. We never had an official wedding. John was so open and professional, making it an exceptional experience. It was just us and our kids in a beautifully decorate chapel and that's all we needed. Finding an officiant was pretty difficult, especially with availability after all the postponed dates. I was pretty picky since the officiant makes your whole ceremony. From the moment I first reached out to John, he was very responsive. He set up a phone call right away that was convenient for both of us so we could get to know a little about him and make sure he was a good fit. We were instantly comforted with how professional he was and wanted to lock him in immediately. It was easy to see how much John genuinely cared about being part of our big day. He had our entire ceremony to us within the week for our review. On the day of the ceremony, John called to let me know his ETA so the bride's mind was at ease. Better than we envisioned
We were in search of an officiant who met our criteria of experience, knowledge, professionalism, and a appearance that was both bold and commanding in presiding over our most important day of our lives, the day of getting married. Being from Texas and getting married at Olympic National Park, we relied heavily on other client reviews combined with our initial conversation's with John. He is a true professional who makes the process of marriage fun and exciting as our wedding was an adventure elopement. He is very easy to talk with, asked a reasonable amount of questions to get to know us and what we represented as a couple, and prepared a beautiful speech based on what we desired. I give my highest recommendations to any future client out there to give John you most serious consideration of being an officiant at your wedding. Whether it be a traditional wedding or an adventure elopement such as ours, John was a pivotal component along with the location, photographer and wedding party to make our most special day of marriage, a day that we will always remember and cherish. We used John for our officiant for our May 2021 wedding. Our initial date was August 2020 but due to Covid we had to move it and John was more than accommodating and flexible with the switch. Wedding in Hoh Rainforest
We would just like to say what a great experience it was working with John from start to finish. He wrote a perfect ceremony that, although he offered us the opportunity to alter in any way, we kept it as is. This really showed us just how intuitive he is with those he works with. Also, his willingness to be flexible with changing circumstances regarding our setting was really impressive and greatly appreciated. He and his wife made what may have otherwise been a fairly stressful experience one that couldn't have gone better.
The setting in the Hoh Rainforest was absolutely spectacular. Getting married next to a flowing river in one of the most uniquely beautiful places I have ever been was all the better of an experience because of the wedding officiant we chose. Thanks again John!

I highly recommend John. He was absolutely wonderful. We are a military couple who only had 6 days to plan our wedding and John made it happen. If you are a last minute, in between deployments, only have a few days kind of couple--John is your guy. I called him Monday and we were married Thursday, He was extremely flexible, helped with location, and everything else. He is a very positive, kind person and did not make me feel bad about hastily putting this together. He customized the small ceremony and made it so special for us. John even brought his lovely wife and she snapped a few photos of us! He was quick to return my call and great with email too. I cannot say enough nice things about John and the service he gave us! Warm & personal pandemic wedding officiant!
John performed our very small and intimate wedding ceremony in July 2020 at Alderbrook during the pandemic. We talked to him a few times prior to the wedding and he was so helpful regarding writing our ceremony to be personal to us and to include my teenage kids. We had a wonderful experience working with John as our wedding officiant for our July 2020 wedding and highly recommend him. We were frantic after our previous officiant canceled, and when speaking with John he made us feel very confident in his reliability and knowledge. Even when all things wedding related started to change a few months ago due to Covid, he assured us that he would be there for our day no matter what we decided to do. He was very kind and organized, and was always very easy to get ahold of when we had questions. This elopement was very difficult because I (bride) was coming from out of state and my husband is in the military so everything had to be rushed done very fast, but Mr. John and his wife helped make the process as simple as possible. They were very flexible with dates and time even though there were alot of set backs (plane cancelations, military duties, and everything going on with the corona virus). Thank you for the beautiful little ceremony that we didn't realize we were going to get when we called and set up our date. 100 % would recommend!

We hired John to perform our wedding ceremony in July 2020, but due to Covid-19, we had to cancel the wedding. Regardless, I wanted to share what a positive experience we had with him. He responded very quickly from the very start, and even followed up with me when things fell off my radar. He was very personable, and we had a very enjoyable call with him where he told us about himself and about how he goes about performing ceremonies. He was very flexible with however we wanted to do the ceremony, but since we had very little concrete ideas going into the conversation, hearing from him and hearing how he typically structures ceremonies helped us to start planning. When we cancelled, he very graciously waived all but the small deposit, which we very much appreciated. All in all, he was an absolute professional and very personable to work with.

John was extremely kind and easy to work with! In my specific case, I gave him very short notice and his flexibility was greatly appreciated. His wife also attended as requested for a witness and she was a blessing to have there!

Couldn't have been better
As others have said, John was great to work with and was very easy going, which was helpful with my last minute jitters. He arrived early and brought his wife along, which was nice since we eloped and would have needed a second witness signature if one of the photographers wasn't able to attend. He was quick to respond via email and flexible when I kept changing my mind with the vows and sand ceremony. I recommend him to anyone!

John is an incredible officiant!
We're so thankful that we found John to officiate our elopement. He's so kind, warm-hearted, and made our day feel extremely special and important. He met with us beforehand to talk through everything we wanted to do for the day, showed up early for the ceremony, and was a calming presence for our day. We can't recommend John enough!

Love at a time of pandemic
Working with John was wonderful. We hired him to be our officiant for our elopement in May, and from the first phone call to the day of he was professional and understanding. The ceremony he wrote was beautiful and we will remember this special day after having to postpone our big wedding.

Beautiful ceremony on short notice
We contacted John about two weeks prior to our quickly planned wedding. Thankfully he was available and made the whole process easy. He was clear that our wedding day was truly ours and that we had complete control over how the service went down. He happily added in a poem that I wanted and included our dog as a ring bearer. At the end of our ceremony there was a snafu with our walk away music that caused my new husband and I to panic a bit. John handled the situation with grace and got us back in track.

Amazing experience!!!
Our wedding plans changed last minute and we needed to find a minister last minute. Pastor Rosendale was not only so flexible and friendly he took the time to communicate, plan and perfect our wedding plan while on his vacation! The service was unsurpassed and something me and my now husband will always be able to remember as not just personal but so very special!

What a wonderful Man! Great service, experienced!
We had alot of questions about "what normally happens" or what "is appropriate ". Having been in the buisness for as long as he has, John was able to guide us on some best prqctices and had great advice to make our event even more special. Great demeanor, not overly wordy, but poetic, thoughtful and memorable. Would recomend for anyone who wants a professional.

Super friendly and professional. Made many aspects of our wedding run much more smoothly, even outside the realm of officiant responsibilities.
John was a fantastic addition to our wedding! He really made us feel calm and confident about the overall flow of the ceremony and had so many helpful tips along the way. You could literally walk into your own wedding completely clueless and he would take care of you. He emphasized that his role is to have our backs and he certainly proved that in more ways than one. He has an aura and a demeanor that puts even the most nervous nellys at ease. Rest assured you are in good hands with this man. Book him and be done with it. You'll thank me later.

Such a delight!
John made our ceremony super special. He went above and beyond to make our day perfect and was also very reassuring that things happen during weddings and that everything will be okay no matter what. We got married with two little kids and he found such an amazing way to incorporate them into our special moment. I highly recommend him to all couples, he made the most important day of our lives such an amazing memory.

Great voice, great experience
From our first phone conversation with John, he was a delight to work with. Very friendly and we immediately knew he would be a calming presence on the day. We were not wrong. With a booming voice all attendants could easily hear, John had a perfect script and made us feel at ease throughout. Before the ceremony began, he spoke with the groom and assuaged any concerns, making the nerves fall away. He was the perfect officiant anyone could ask for.

A Perfect Wedding Day
John Rosendale was highly recommended to us by family and a friend. He was very responsive to emails and communicated along the way. What we enjoyed most is his flexibility in allowing us to have so much input. John began by providing us with a written wedding ceremony and from there we were able to either remove sections and most importantly add what was important to us. That included having a dear friend perform the ring exchanges. John was perfectly OK with that as well as our music choices. He was such a pleasure to work with and we were so happy to have him be our officiant!

Such a joyful and loving laid back gentleman
We absolutely loved John. Such a kind man who listened to our requests and had a great delivery. We liked him so much upon meeting him we asked for him to bring his wife and stay and enjoy the wedding with us and he did. He did a exceptional job making us feel comfortable and much like family.
