We absolutely LOVED our entire experience with John Myers Photography and truly could not recommend them more! From the very beginning, we knew we were in great hands. John made the entire process feel seamless, organized, and exciting, and we could immediately tell that he genuinely cared about giving us the best possible experience for our wedding day.
Not only was everything an incredible value, but having two photographers and two videographers was one of the best decisions we made. Our team — Hannah and Jordan as photographers, and Dani and Lindsey as videographers — were absolutely AMAZING. Every single one of them went above and beyond throughout both the planning process and the wedding day itself.
One thing I especially loved was having an all-women team who truly had my best interests in mind and made me feel so supported, comfortable, and special the entire day. They weren’t just there to take photos and videos — they genuinely helped make the entire day run smoothly. From carrying my dress, fixing details, arranging flowers perfectly for photos, keeping us on schedule, calming nerves, and capturing every meaningful moment, they truly did it all.
Hannah was an incredible leader, and the whole team worked together so effortlessly. Their energy was positive, calming, fun, and professional from the moment they arrived until the very end of the night. They made us feel cared for every second and helped create such an amazing atmosphere throughout the day.
Most importantly, the photos and videos turned out absolutely beautiful. They captured every emotion and special moment perfectly, and we constantly look back at them and relive our wedding day over and over again. We are so grateful for this team and cannot thank them enough for helping make our wedding day so unforgettable! -

We had an incredible experience with John Myers Photography and Videography for our wedding on March 15th. While John himself wasn’t available, he sent a fantastic team that included a lead photographer, a second shooter/photographer, a lead videographer, and a second shooter—and they were all professional, kind, and truly talented.
John has an excellent team and handles all the editing, which really shows in how cohesive and polished everything turned out. The final gallery and video felt completely aligned in style and storytelling.
We received our full photo gallery in just 4 weeks and our highlight video (just under 6 minutes) in about 5½ weeks, which was a pleasant surprise. Both the photos and video beautifully captured not just how the day looked, but how it felt.
As singer-songwriters, it meant a lot to us that they incorporated our music into the video—it made everything feel even more personal and meaningful.
We now have such special photos and a film to look back on from a very special day for us. We’re grateful to John and his team and would absolutely recommend them. -

The photographer we chose was by far the most important decision to us, and I’m so happy we decided on John Myers and his team. Jessica was our day of photographer. She did both our engagement shoot and wedding, and she did an absolutely phenomenal job. The photos are on another level, even when comparing to other professional photographers around Nashville. John was professional, kind, and responsive throughout the whole process. Our only regret is not getting a videography package with them! My fiance and I used John Myers' team for our wedding videography. John and his day-of team (Erica and Danny) were fantastic to work with. They were there the entire day but felt like a seamless part of the process. They were fun to be around and helped us feel comfortable. They also worked seamlessly with our photographer (from another vendor) without it feeling like they were competing - they worked as a team.

We truly searched all over for a videographer in Nashville for our wedding day, and we could not have been happier with John Myers Videography. I looked through hundreds of videographer websites, instagrams, etc and could easily tell the difference with the quality of John's video's compared to others. It was only after I contacted him after seeing his work, that I realized I had a mutual friend who had used him for photography years ago, and had nothing but good things to say about her experience as well. My photographer also highly recommended him, so it was amazing to have so many other people reiterate how great he was on top of already being sold on his portfolio. To be expected, our experience was nothing but amazing. John was extremely responsive and quick to communicate with any concerns we had leading up to the wedding day. Erica and Dani were the team members who captured the footage on our wedding day, and they were also AMAZING. The entire team was so friendly, professional, and made me feel so comfortable the entire day. It is obvious that they know what they are doing and I never had to worry if they were getting the "good shots". We got married in August, and received our video only a month later! We had a 7-8 minute highlight film, and I could not tell you the amount of people who contacted me saying they were in awe about how amazing the highlight film was. It almost plays like a movie of our love story, and truly captured the most special moments of our entire day. I only had to request a few small edits, and John fixed them promptly within just a few days. John went above and beyond, and we could not be more pleased with our wedding video that we get to watch the rest of our lives. -

John and his team are amazing! Megan did our engagement photos and was the lead photographer on our wedding day. It was nice to see a familiar face on our wedding day and to have already met her. The whole team was beyond professional, organized, and lots of fun! They truly helped make our wedding day special. I never realized how much time you spend with your photography team on your wedding day and you want a great group of people-they were just that.
John was very quick to respond to any email or question that I had and he was available for us prior to our wedding day and even after. The photos were stunning and our video was amazing. They truly captured our wedding day so perfectly and got all of the small details.
I cannot say enough great things about John and his team. If you are thinking about this team for your big day, you should book them! The team is great and the memories you will get back from them will be amazing and something you will cherish for a lifetime. -

I wish I could give higher than a 5 star!
My husband and I got married on Halloween this year, 10.31.23 and we used John Myers for Photography and Ceremony Video! We originally started our vendor hunt in late 2022 and we decided on John Myers because he was very responsive, the website and photos were very professional, and reviews were outstanding! It's always scaring paying someone you've never worked with, but we are so happy that we chose John Myers!
The quality of our photos and video are wonderful and we are happy with the quality. Hannah was our main photographer on our wedding day, and she went above and beyond to help us with things that was not even her job! (Fixing my veil, etc.).
I highly recommend John Myers for your wedding choice, as I promise you will not be disappointed. I will be sure to refer to friends and family, and you will be hearing from me for future photo shoots!

John was wonderful to work with on the back end, and Saul and Laura (our day-of photographers) were great! They were super easy to work with during the whole planning process, which was much appreciated with so many vendors in the mix. It was important to me that the photography revolved around the day vs. the day revolving around the photography, and they did such a wonderful job of capturing all of the special moments (big and small) without being too prominent or noticeable from the guest experience perspective. They also produced equally incredible posed shots and candid shots, which I loved. We got roughly 1,500 photos back about 2 months later, and we’re obsessed. I still scroll through them constantly – they make me so happy to look back on! -

I cannot recommend John Myers Photography enough! From our first communication to delivery of our wedding album John alongside with all members of his team have been pleasant, responsive, professional, and at the end they delivered our dream wedding photos. Leading up to our wedding day John was easy to get ahold of, very responsive, and just a dream vendor to work with. We had a phone call with our lead photography prior to the wedding and filled out a questionnaire which allowed us to list all the shots we wanted. Day of we worked with Kelsey and Sigourney, and they were indescribably amazing. They were there every moment. They were professional during the intimate moments and fun during the more relaxed times – they made us so feel so comfortable the entire day. Our wedding party, parents, and guests all commented on how they loved our photography team. My husband and I are not very use to being in front of the camera, but their energy and professionalism made it all feel so natural and they really got us to loosen up and it shows in the photos. They went above and beyond to get every single shot we wanted, and literally were walking through mud, bustling my dress, and helping me fix my hair. We had the pleasure of working with John Myers’s video team for our wedding. They worked so well with our photographer, and to be honest, we hardly noticed their presence throughout our day—which is a testament to their professionalism and ability to capture the action without disrupting it.
We just got back our highlight video and full-length ceremony video less than 8 weeks after the wedding, and both are absolutely stunning. The video and audio quality is perfect, the shots are interesting and different than the angles captured by our photographer, and the editing completely captures the energy surrounding us on our day. We can’t recommend John Myers enough for wedding videography!!! -

Best Photographer Ever, couldn't recommend more
John and his team did the photography and videography for our wedding as well as an engagement shoot and photos at our rehearsal dinner. We worked with several members of John's team and they were all wonderful. They are great at giving prompts and poses to help you and your spouse/family/bridal party feel comfortable and natural. John was so communicative about the schedule and whether we were on time during the day. He made sure we got to shoot in all of the various locations and got a great combination of candid and posed photos. His videography team followed us for the day as well and created the most beautiful highlight film. I cried when I watched it and absolutely loved how it captured our day. All of our photos (engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding) are beautiful, and they feel very true to our personalities. He is also great with communication and talked with us over zoom as a way to prepare for the day since we were out of state. John is super low key yet very on top of the day. He was cracking jokes with my husband and making sure we experienced the joy of the day as it happened. Cannot recommend John and his team more for creating lasting memories as well as having a smooth schedule on the day. His services are worth every penny. -

There aren’t enough good things to say about John and his team! I’d like to start by personally thanking John for navigating covid and our ever changing plans with grace and compassion. Due to family constraints, my husband and I decided to throw our original plans to the wind and elope – John made the trek to the mountains with us and I am beyond grateful. John, Dani, and Erica were very much a part of the entire day, their presence was important, helpful and not at all intrusive. They were able to capture the intimate details, emotions and the beauty of the ceremony and reception flawlessly. The photos were edited just right – You can tell John and his team put a lot of consideration in enhancement while maintaining a genuine quality. It took all of two days once the photos were delivered before I had our favorites printed and framed. Truth be told, one of the main reasons we chose John Myers was because of the unique, cinematic, story-telling videos he and the team create – and they did not disappoint! I have watched our wedding video more times than I can count and there’s not one thing I would change. Stunning. All throughout the wedding planning process the one thing I’ve said over and over is “I want to us to have beautiful pictures”. John delivered! When COVID hit, we ended up scraping our first wedding and relocating across the country to Nashville in order to be closer to the family members who would be attending our small event. We chose John based on his pictures he had taken of other couples at the venue we selected. He was punctual, organized, and fun to work with! We had a short window of time during which to take photos and John kept us at a good pace without being pushy. His second shooter was also so sweet! We just got our photos back and I AM OBSESSED! Our wedding video at Yosemite National Park is absolutely MAGICAL!!! Seriously amazing in every way! After Covid hit, we opted to forego our traditional Tennessee wedding and did an "Adventure Wedding" in California instead! I wish I could express in words how much the girls on this team added to the magic for this special day! We shot footage from before sunrise, until after sunset that day, hiking through woods and on boulders ALL day! They were the perfect blend of an absolute JOY to be around, but also professional and fun at the same time. I would hire them a million times over!! They were worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY for the high quality work they delivered and the experience they helped create! If you want someone to show up and show out with exceptional video footage and deliver high quality work, I would HIGHLY highly recommend this team! -

The best professional photographer around
When I first booked John Myers for my wedding photos I was excited, but as the day got closer more and more people told me he was THE BEST OF THE BEST in Nashville. I heard nothing but great things ! So Fast forward to my wedding day and he was amazing! He was great with the men and the woman and so professional and had so much fun!!! Once the photos came back they were so much more beautiful then I ever imagined they’d be!! With my wedding photos being so beautiful I also had him do a private photoshoot with my horse and I in my wedding dress. Again John killed it. The photos are unbelievable. John Myers is literally the best around y’all!!! Love this photographer. Can’t say enough great things. -

We hired John Myers Photography for our wedding in fall 2019, and we were really happy with everything. We worked with Kendall primarily, one of John's associate photographers, and she was great. She was sweet and easy to work with. We did an engagement shoot with her as well, which was nice as we got to know her a little before the wedding. She was good at making us feel at ease and getting some nice, natural-feeling shots. On the big day she and the second shooter were both troopers, sticking with us for 10+ hours on a super hot day! John does all the editing and I really like his style - it's vibrant and warm but not harsh or over-saturated. He was also very responsive throughout the whole process, quickly responding to emails when we had questions. The share and download links were easy to use. We felt we got a lot for the price. All in all, we were really happy with the team and the pictures, and we'd definitely recommend John Myers Photography! -

The BEST photographer!
We chose John Myers Photography after meeting with his associate Kendall. She was fun, easy to chat with, and fell in love with her photography! We did engagement photos with her and it was A BLAST! We are a little camera-shy and just straight up awkward, so she gave us actions and instructions to make our photos look more natural. They were all hilarious and got us laughing, the photos turned out perfect! On our wedding day, Kendall was there for every important moment, and captured how fun our wedding was! I joke with friends and family after the wedding and tell them Kendall was the 6th bridesmaid! She bustled my gown, fixed my hair, put my veil in. She is the real MVP! Best photographer ever!
We were recommend to check out John Myers Photography through our wedding venue, Allenbrooke Farms, and after looking through his portfolio decided we wanted to meet with him. After meeting with a number of different photographers we decided to go with John for his ability to capture the moments that really mattered, the rich colors of his photos, and his general no-stress approach to photography. We went with his biggest, best package as we had always heard you don’t want to skimp on the pictures. Our package included an engagement session which allowed us to have first hand experience with how John worked and to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing and we are so glad we took the opportunity to get the one on one with John before the wedding day. A few weeks before the big day John asked lots of questions via a questionnaire to ensure any special details, group shots, or additional wants were not missed. On our big day we fought less than ideal weather but John found creative ways to still get all the pictures we wanted. He and his second shooter were constantly taking pictures of anything and everything going on. Just the other day we got about 12 sneak peek pictures and they are absolutely amazing!! Of just the few we got we already have plans to blow up and frame at least 4 or 5 of them. We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures! Aly Sent on 09/03/2018I was a photojournalist in college and was mentored by a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer. If there was one thing I wanted to get right at my wedding, it was the photos. I searched all over and when I found John's page, there was no one else I wanted behind the camera for my big day (days if we include the wonderful engagement session). John and his team don't take photos, they capture moments. His staged photos are fantastic, but the images that elicit the strongest emotional response are the ones that have more depth beyond the composition and lighting, they tell a story. John and his team were absolutely seamless at the event. Since they are hardly noticeable, you are free to focus on the day and those who came out to support you. John and his team will be our first call for any major event we have in the future.

He was transparent about the price, and he showed us a gallery similar to what we would receive after the wedding so that we knew exactly what to expect. Every single question that I had throughout the wedding planning process was answered thoroughly and promptly. The day of the wedding, John was so creative and captured every moment that we wanted and more. He made everyone feel very comfortable and have a lot of fun while taking photos. He provided a few teasers just days after the wedding, and then we received all of the photos about two weeks later. They are absolutely gorgeous. I have received so many compliments on the quality and the uniqueness of the photos. We could not be more pleased with the photos that we received from John and how much fun he made it! We definitely recommend his services for anyone needing engagement photos, wedding photos or other photo needs. You will not be disappointed! -

Annie Sent on 05/24/2016John was the perfect photographer for our perfect day! He captured moments that I didn't even dream about having. He was also very helpful in every which way! Our wedding was crazy and a little bit of a big fat brazilian wedding mixed with a little bit of southern and John made it work! I would highly recommend him!
