John Mason was amazing from the complimentary taste testing, to the invoice process, and the day of our wedding! We had a venue change part way through wedding planning and John mason made it such an easy change! Our guests loved the food (chicken and the corn soufflé was amazing) and they had so many leftovers!! So happy we stuck with them after the venue switch I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else! -

We started our wedding 2.5 years before we actually were able to have our wedding due to the covid pandemic. John Mason Catering was SOOO great working with our ever changing plans due to Covid willing to accomodate whatever we decided. When our final day came they were on point and did everything they could to make our day spectacular. The food was wonderful (our guests even told them) and they even were able to accomodate my 1 guest with food allergies. Could not of been happier with having them as our caterer. -

We truly can’t say enough about our experience with John Mason Catering for our wedding on February 15, 2020 we had our tasting a few months prior and we were blown away by the quality, variety and quantity of food . We decided on the sun-dried tomato chicken and beef with ajus. The Zucchini squash casserole was to die for and the green beans were so fresh. Salad dressing was fantastic!
On our wedding day of the staff was wonderful and they served us personally “bride and groom” we never once had to get up to get our own food ! We continue to this day getting comments on how great our food was. Also I would like to say the set up went without a problem and they even came the day before to set everything they needed up ,all the chairs and table settings were absolutely perfect they rolled my napkins with a small white bow they placed on my chairs in the correct place it literally looks stunning I just want to thank you for being such a big part of our special day you will be hearing from us again for future catering. -

John Mason and his staff are amazing, they know what they are doing and their food tastes amazing! The food is southern comfort food and it tastes soo yummy! They had the best price for our 120 guest wedding! Highly recommended! -

John was just amazing to work with, he is personable and passionate about what he does, he went above and beyond to help me with what tends to be one of the most stressful parts of the wedding planning. He does tastings and communicated with you before hand to insure he has the dish you have in mind available for you to try. I had my venue cancel last minute and had to change my complete set up but John took the time to come see the venue and preplan how to make it work in a place many said it couldn't be done, HE DID IT! and it was a smooth and professional set up. Everyone loved his food and he was present at the wedding every step of the way, even got to say goodbye to him before we left for the night! His staff is very kind and professional, they insured my guests were taken care of thru out the night. And the appetizers were the best I ever had & all my guest raved about them, they got to enjoy them during cocktail hours. I honestly have been craving that chicken since I returned from honeymoon. They also took care of cutting and distributing our cake. If I could do my wedding all over again I'd choose John Mason Catering every time! -

John and his staff were excellent. He offered many ideas on dishes which compliment each other, and met our needs to provide food for the carnivores and vegans attending our wedding. The food was delicious and we are so happy with our choice to hire John Mason Catering. Our guests are still talking about the great food! -

He also worked with our florist and coordinated other vendors on the day of the event. John was very helpful throughout the process, his food, apps, and desserts tasted great, and his help made our wedding pretty awesome. Thanks John! -

In all honesty, when we first met with John Mason Catering, we were surprised by the simplicity of the operation. After visiting countless stuffy showrooms, we came upon John Mason's Brooksville, catering kitchen. This place is a hidden gem! John and his amazing staff met us (pre-pandemic) right in their kitchen. This allowed us to see how and where our food would be prepared and the staff in charge of creating our delicious meals. John's down-to-earth kindness and positivity made our decision easy. Not to mention the food was infinitely more delicious and significantly more affordable than some of the more "polished showroom" type of caterers we had already tried. Our guests truly enjoyed the food, there was PLENTY to go around and we were so thankful for some leftovers because I didn't realize it would be possible to taste even better the next day! -

Staci Sent on 02/08/2016My rating is strictly on customer service not food taste. The squash casserole, chicken, and pulled pork was delicious, not so much the green bean casserole. I am giving 1 star for the Owner telling my wedding guests and family members that we were going to run out of food, and telling people where they could or couldn't sit. I gave a head count of 65 people for my wedding and had 72 people eat, 12 of that were small kids..Weddings always have people RSVP that don't show and vice versa people show with no RSVP. John went around to several of my family members, MY BOSS, and friends freaking out that we weren't going to have enough food with the added people, and approached me ON MY WEDDING DAY!! WHO does this!!! How embarrassing for me and some guests left so there would be enough food! His excuse after an email was that he freaked out cause %20 more people showed up..math is incorrect. I honestly think I deserve money back because the apology is worthless
