John was absolutely amazing for our daughter’s wedding. He made everyone feel comfortable, made us laugh with his jokes which helped keep everyone at ease. If was a god awful hot/humid day and he never stopped even being soaked from the heat then throw in sudden storms 25 min before ceremony & he kept the humor which again helped eased everyone under what ended up a very stressful situation (venue than lost all power with no backup generators). We would highly recommend John Keller for your wedding photography. Note: we love he adds funny photos as well.

You Won't Find Another Photographer that Hustles Like John
I had an amazing experience using John Kellar Photography. His packages are, in my opinion, underpriced for his talent and how hard he works. Our entire wedding he truly went above and beyond. All of our guests commented on it. He did whatever it took to get a great photo and even was able to take photos of each and every single one of my tables with my guests. He never skipped a beat and got all of our pictures in within a timely manner so my husband and I were able to have some downtime prior to our reception entrance. He even managed to get some photos of us at the end of the night which I am so happy he was able to pull us to get them because they turned out really cool. I can't say enough good things about John! If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further!

Fantastic photographer for June 26th wedding

Fantastic photography team
I was lucky enough to be referred my a local photographer that was originally going to photograph my wedding but due to health complications the original photographer provided me with John’s contact. John was such a gem and helped calm down my concerns about losing my original photographer and brought a wealth of knowledge for photographing at the location we were getting married at. We were getting married out of state however he knew the location well and helped set up great options for us to choose from.
Unfortunately we were a COVID wedding and had to move our original wedding date from 2020 to 2021. John was so gracious and helped us navigate the unknown waters with rescheduling and ensuring he didn’t add unnecessary stress to the most stressful situation of our lives.
Leading up to the wedding John was a key figure in ensuring we had a great timeline providing essential tips that I would have never thought about.
The day of the wedding John and his team were amazing. They got the wedding party to let loose and enjoy themselves keeping everyone on schedule. Most importantly the groom!
I can not recommend John and his team enough.

Best Photographer in the Tristate Area
John Keller is PHENOMENAL! We had a center city wedding in November and everyone can not stop swooning over the photos. He took the best photo of us in front of city that I have ever seen! His humor kept us laughing all day and he was great with keeping the family on take and involved in the photos. You will feel and look like a celebrity if you work with John and his team (take it from a person who has a 300:1 selfie ratio to find a good picture). His prices are very reasonable and his passion for his craft exudes through his work.

John was the best photographer we could have possibly asked for. He and his partner (John) went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was the best it possibly could be. Before meeting, John gave us advice on how to plan to get the best pictures and even on general wedding planning. During the wedding (and the engagement shoot) he was extremely knowledgeable about all the locations of the venue and the best times/places to take pictures as well as giving us amazing poses for the pictures. Throughout the day, they were able to catch all of the special moments that many others would not have even thought of. He was extremely good with the children and other guests during the wedding and was able to capture many amazing candid shots of everyone during the whole day. All the pictures turned out amazing, and we couldn't imagine the day going as well as it did without him. We have recommended him to our friends, and will use him again whenever we would need any photographs.

We were recommended John through family who used him as well for their wedding. John is professional and down to earth. We had our pre-wedding meeting where he asked for any special requests and we created a schedule that made the day flow really well. We did the “first look” that allowed us to get a majority of our photos done prior to the ceremony and we got to enjoy our cocktail hour with family and friends. John gets ideas as the day is going and pulls you aside to take a quick unique photo, which turn out amazing! John came highly recommended by our venue, La Massaria at Bella Vista, and we were not disappointed! We met with John at his studio twice prior to our wedding and were instantly comfortable working with him - he is down to earth, personable and brings lots of experience and ideas to the table. We met with maybe 3-4 other photographers and John was the obvious choice for value and personality. John was attentive to our requests in terms of the package options we were interested in as well as the must-have photos we wanted to capture. On the day of our wedding in May 2017, John and his assistant were professional and took the time to ensure that we were satisfied throughout the day. The turn-around was incredible! One short week after our wedding, all photos were available to us and our wedding guests through his website and shortly after we received our highlight video album. John subtly distributes cards with the website and password to your guest tables (if you choose to have your album password protected). John also took the time to schedule a a follow-up meeting with us a few weeks after our wedding to advise us on our photo album and other add-on options. We are now faced with the challenge of selecting our favorites! If you are looking for a professional photographer who is personable, talented and efficient then look no further - John is your guy!

John did our wedding this past summer. After meeting with John there was no question we were going to book him as our photographer. His photos are beautiful and his prices are extremely reasonable. At our initial meeting John got to know us and our vision for our wedding. The next time we met was at our engagement shoot. This time was valuable, as John got to know us better and made us feel that more comfortable in front of a camera. Finally, our last meeting we planned the day of our wedding. It was clear John has done many weddings as he helped us organize the timeline of the day. His attitude was positive as he continually reminded us we had a lot of time that day for photos. The day of the wedding he showed up early, took many pictures before, during, and after the wedding. His photos not only captured the formal images for an album, but they also showed the candids which truly portrayed the excitement and fun in everyone's eyes and smiles. He truly was a pleasure to work with and I would most definitely recommend him as photographer!

John was amazing! His flexibility with my ceremony having to be moved due to the rain, was very much appreciated. He made sure we got every picture we wanted. He did a fantastic job with all the guests and the entire bridal party. I would recommend him to EVERYONE!

John was a great addition to our wedding!! He was fun to work with and very professional! I couldn't thank him enough for going above and beyond!!!! It rained on my wedding day and he laid in puddles to assure the best shots, and that is exactly what he delivered!! John was nothing short of amazing! He responded to all my calls and emails in a timely and professional manner. He arrived on time and ready to go the day of the wedding. He and Erika made myself l, my husband, and all of our bridal party feel comfortable and most importantly made sure we had fun while taking the pictures! It was freezing cold and windy the day of the wedding but John still managed to get beautiful pictures in a timely manner to ensure we weren't all freezing. My pictures were gorgeous! I would chose John Kellar photographery over agian in a second! I promise you won't be disappointed.

John Kellar is an amazing photographer! He did a wonderful job with our wedding photos. He was also great to work with during wedding planning and our big day. John is very professional yet knows how to deal with a big crowd of people who might be a little difficult to get to pay attention. John was the photographer for our wedding on November 12th, 2016 and he was AWESOME. John is extremely talented and a true professional. After seeing him in action at a friend's wedding where my fiance was in the wedding party, we knew he had the right personality and then seeing their photos, we knew we had to book him. Luckily, he was available for our date! Both times we met with him prior to the wedding he was friendly, knowledgeable,helpful and accommodating. You can tell he has been doing this for a long time and is no stranger to weddings! The day of the wedding he was prompt and efficient but never made us feel rushed or stressed. The day seemed to flow effortlessly from the "getting ready photos", to the church, pictures with the bridal party/family and finally the reception. John kept everything running smoothly and on time while keeping the mood light and fun with his humor. He seemed to capture everything while never "getting in the way." He was even a great sport about our dog showing up briefly so we could snap a few photos with him! His assistant the day of, Erica, was also amazing! They worked well alongside of our videographers, which was also helpful in keeping the day stress free. Fast forward to after the wedding, we had a "sneak peek" of some of John's favorite photos just two days later on Facebook! Within 2 weeks, we had access to our entire album posted on his website. The photos are FANTASTIC and we could not be happier with them. He truly captured all aspects of the day/night and did so flawlessly. John is also very reasonably priced compared to some other vendors we looked at but by no means does that mean you are getting lesser quality. We can not recommend John Kellar enough! Thank you so much for absolutely stunning photos and a great day, John!

Let me start with how professional and fun to work with John was! From our first meeting to the day we received our pictures he was a pleasure to work with. We had clear sunny skies all the way up to the reception, after cocktail hour it began to pour. John came to get us and asked us if we wanted to take some cool pictures when it stopped raining. It only took 10 minutes, those photos are so beautiful and unique we are having one of them framed into a canvas print. We really love our wedding and engagement photos, John captured the day perfectly!

John is an amazing photographer. He took the stress out of our wedding day by making taking pictures in 100 degrees fun. We received so many good images it is hard to pick which ones we want to print. John also has extremely reasonable prices and his work is better than many photographers that charge double or triple what he does. I would never suggest anyone else for your wedding photographer because you get the full package with John.

My sister used John Kellar for her wedding photographer 4 years ago, and it was an easy choice for us to use him for our wedding too. If you are looking for results, and Pictures better than you could have possibly dreamed of Hire John Kellar. The work he did was better then I have seen in magazines. John was outstanding as our photographer for our big day! From our first meeting with him to after our wedding, John was professional, timely, and efficient. He called us prior to our wedding to plan out details of our day, which put us both at ease. He showed up early (which was great) on the day of our wedding and was a rock star the entire day! We had our two nieces in the wedding (ages 7 and 5) and he was very patient with them. He played games with them to get them to feel like a part of the wedding party and to get them to smile for pictures. They loved him. He was able to capture us as a couple in our true sense through the pictures. Our biggest concern was making sure we were at our reception site as the sun was setting so we could get some sunset pictures. John did not disappoint! We are so thrilled with his creativity in shots, his use of lighting, and his flexibility in working with us. He turned around the pictures so quickly that we are thrilled we are able to have them before the holidays! We can't say enough about how happy we were in choosing John Kellar Photography, LLC. John Kellar Photography was a wonderful addition to our wedding. John and his assistant were professional and helped with creating memories that will stand the test of time. A week after our wedding we lost a loved one. I immediately called John to ask for prints to be made from our wedding as there were many with this loved one. He was extremely helpful in making all this happen in a short amount of time. In addition to his support and help through that, our wedding memories were captured through his camera lens. He was highly recommended by two brides and a family who used him for their 50 wedding anniversary. I would highly recommend him as a photographer for weddings. He was extremely energetic and worked very hard to capture all the people present in the photos. He asked us when we sat down with him what we wanted and we said as many pictures of everyone at the wedding. I could not have been happier with our wedding photographer and would highly recommend John Kellar to anyone looking for an event or portrait/family photographer. We chose John for two reasons. Looking at his past work and reviews, it was clear he could and would provide us with beautiful photos of our special day. More importantly to us and the number one reason we chose him was his personality. My husband hates having his picture taking so I wanted to make sure we found someone he was comfortable with and that would get him to relax and smile in our photos. John's easy going and fun personality was the answer for us. John got all of the great wedding shots we wanted and more without being in our face or overbearing with the camera (as I have heard some photographers can be). Many of our wedding guests commented on how friendly and fun John was and that they loved having their picture taken by him. My husband and I are now working on narrowing down what pictures we want included in our album - John provided us with so many beautiful photos it's hard to choose.

Rain, rain, and more rain - that about sums up the weather on my wedding day! While there were plenty of last minute changes that I had to make, and panic about, my wedding photographer was not one of them! John handled all of the changes with such ease and professionalism, and assured me that my photographs would be even better than I imagined - he was right. I was so nervous about having all indoor pictures, but they turned out beautiful. John was great at directing the bridal party - which was definitely a challenge at times - and at capturing the small details. Towards the end of the night, my husband and I were able to sneak outside, where John the most amazing photo of us standing under an umbrella, raindrops falling all around us. Truly a beautiful image. From start to finish - the consult for the wedding, the engagement shoot, the wedding day - everything went very smoothly. We have absolutely beautiful photos from our wedding - picking our album photos is proving to be the most difficult part! I highly recommend John as a wedding photographer. We loved working with him so much, we even did a holiday photo shoot with our puppy! Do yourself a favor, and schedule a consult with John. His cost is very reasonable, and he really listens to what you are looking for in your wedding photos.

John Kellar was a fantastic photographer to work with. Correspondence up until the wedding was regular and efficient. He invited us to his studio to review packages, and answered all of our questions. Right before the wedding, we had one final meeting where I was able to share with John which photos I wanted in order to make our wedding day successful. The turn around time for photos was less than 2 weeks! Our preview photos were done in 24 hours, and our video to show on Facebook was ready in less than a week. Once we returned from our Honeymoon, John invited us back to his studio to show us some favorites...we were able to pick our canvas and retrieve our wedding disc with over 800 hi-res images. Thanks for a great day, John!

John was the most wonderful photographer. Not only is his work beautiful but he did a great job of acting as the "director" on my wedding day. I didn't have to worry that he's get the 'right' shots or if the photos would be posed correctly. He includes special effects in his albums, such as B&W, sepia tone, background pictures, etc. Above all, he is a nice guy. Our package included an engagement sitting and he agreed to meet us at the park where we got engaged to do the shoot instead of his studio at no charge. I would recommend him to anyone looking for quality photography without pretension.

His photography is creative and beautiful. He's reasonable in price and you get more than you pay for. It takes about six months to get your album, but the final product is worth the money and the wait. We are so glad we picked him!

John was very easy to work with and really invested in making sure that his pictures conveyed our love and our whole wedding day! He captured moments that my husband and I weren't able to see, and was very unobtrusive the whole day. My guests all loved him and we keep getting rave reviews about the pictures! I loved that we were able to see pictures the very next day and we got to look at pictures on our honeymoon which sweetened the experience. I would definitely recommend John Kellar!

John was easy to work with, he got to know us as a couple, and his prices were fair. He was open to weird suggestions, and down with any unconventional shots we wanted. However, I wish we'd have started sooner in the day & not taken pictures outside the hotel, (the venue was much nicer; it seemed odd) but overall he was very good, the pictures were lovely, and my wife was happy.
