  We had the privilege of having Joseph as our photographer for the engagement shoot as well as the wedding day. Joey is so genuine while having an extremely calm demeanor that made our engagement shoot so much fun and seamless. Friends and families told us that our photos look incredible with so many natural happy pictures while we didn’t even know when Joey took those photos. He captured moments between my husband and I, precious exchange of looks, that we didn’t even realized he did. Joey has a natural talent in taking timeless photos that you want to look at them over and over again and they bring warm feelings to your heart. On the wedding day, Joey and his team understand what is expected from our parents and what the groom and bride truly wants. They delivered both that made everyone happy. But what is more impressive were how transparent they were. If you are lucky enough to find an open slot in their schedule, you will rest assure that your photographer choice for that special day will be in good hands with John & Joseph Photography.

  Joey was such a pleasure to work with. He was always very professional and responsive to any questions we had and worked well with our other vendors the day of the Wedding. Joey and his second photographer were great at capturing a blend of formal portraits as well as a journalistic style of images to allow us to relive the whole day.. Our images came out beautifully and we are so happy we went with John & Joseph to capture our special day. We definitely recommend using them!

  We were so lucky to be able to book our wedding with John & Joseph Photography! I met them a year before our wedding when I was in the bridal party of a friends wedding they were photographing and was immediately impressed by how quickly they worked, while also seeming to get amazing shots. We worked more closely with Joey, and were lucky enough to have both he and John shoot our wedding but beyond being extremely talented and getting us the most incredible, jaw dropping wedding shots (so many amazing ones, in fact, that it's taking us forever to narrow down our favorites for our album!) they were also just the nicest people to work with. Consummate professionals who obviously love what they do and want to make sure everyone has a great experience with them! When our crazy long- distance relationship schedule was going to get in the way of our engagement shoot, Joey went so far as to drop us off at the airport so we could make our flight (and take one of our favorite photos while there!), and that was actually just one of many things he did that made him (and his brother) incredible to work with! Weddings can be stressful but having the right vendors- ones you can trust to do their job but who are also just a pleasure to work with- will make all the difference. Thank you John & Joey- you guys are the best!

  John & Joseph Photography are AWESOME!!! John was a PHENOMENAL photographer at our wedding last June and we HIGHLY recommend him. We honestly couldn't be happier or ask for a better photographer, he and his assistant really made our wedding day so memorable. They took SO many pictures and we have it ALL documented. Our entire bridal party and family members, including our wedding coordinator, were all SO amazed with how skillful, professional, and respectful they were. Most importantly, the pictures were beautiful, they were absolutely gorgeous. We had have received so many compliments on our many edited photographs of how artistic our pictures looked.
  
  John and his assistant arrived promptly ON time, if not earlier at 8am on our wedding day and they even stayed behind an extra half hour on our wedding day. They worked a full 15.5 hours and they NEVER once complained. You can tell he LOVES his job and he is natural at it. The last thing you need is someone who is unreliable and unprofessional giving you that unnecessary stress on your wedding day. John made our day so fun and so stress-free. We got so many images with our family, which was extremely important to us. We have tons of pictures with our friends and guests as well. As a bride, I was so pleased with the detailed shots of our wedding; John was very meticulous and I greatly appreciated it.

  Absolutely the most wonderful vendor we worked with. Not only were his photos wonderful and unusual, but his professionalism was amazing. We had several guests come up to us during and after the wedding to compliment him on his style. He was so unobtrusive, but yet was everywhere, and managed to get a large variety of photos. We used just Joey because we had such a small event, but for larger weddings, you can get both John and Joey. Joey felt like a friend and really helped us to enjoy our day, all while providing us with beautiful photos to treasure for life. I honestly keep trying to come up with another event we can hire him to photograph us for! While he is based in Seattle, he also has a place in San Francisco, so was able to work with us on price, since we were married in Calistoga. We truly cannot recommend him enough. He was perfect. (He does book early, but we were able to get him due to a cancellation.)

  Unfortunately we weren't able to book both John and Joseph for our wedding, but we still had everything we could have asked for with Joseph as our event photographer. He was very professional, very comfortable to work with, and all of the shots turned out great. We were also incredibly pleased with the album that John put together for us afterwards.

  Great photos, artsy shots, however very similar to the ones on the website. Price is high, but worth it, plan a number of shots that you want.

  I had wanted John & Joseph to photograph my wedding ever since they worked my brothers wedding 5 years ago- and I hadn't even met my husband yet! It was the one thing that I was willing to negotiate anything else in the wedding to have. I can't say enough about the high quality of their work. I didn't want standard portraits, but rather a photojournal of the day's events. It took several months to get the final product from them, which was a bit concerning- however the quality of their work was well worth the wait.
