  Exceptional Photographer!

  John Douglas Photography blew me away with the high quality, creative photos that captured the raw emotions from our wedding! He embraced the snow storm and came full of creativity and ideas, making me feel at ease. John was professional and he definitely cares about making your special day perfect and stress free. I would highly recommend his services, you will not be disappointed!

  I cannot say enough how much we LOVE John and his work - he really went above and beyond to capture the personality of our wedding! If you are looking for an excellent photographer for weddings, family sessions, events, etc., this is your guy... His work is creative, captures the perfect angles/perspectives, and he is a NICE GUY who puts everyone at ease. Oh, and don't wait weeks for your wedding photos with another photog - John is FAST! THANK YOU JOHN!

  Beautiful work, very accommodating and easy to work with. Looking through all the pictures is like re-living the whole event- every special moment was captured.

  My husband and I had John do both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we could not be happier with our choice! Looking through the photos, they captured the beauty and love of that day perfectly. In addition, John managed to not be very obvious about taking pictures and I hardly noticed him clicking away during our ceremony and reception - yet, he captured some amazing shots!
  
  John has a wonderful demeanor and was a pleasure to work with. His photography skills are also top notch. I would definitely recommend him to any other bride!

  John's photography and professionalism are truly exceptional. You would be blessed to have him capture your special day. All of his photographs, both the formal ones and the candids, reflected the true essence and emotion of each participant and situation. He took a great deal of time to understand our particular needs and wishes. Because of his superb technical expertise, he was able produce many gorgeous photographs despite some unusual lighting challenges at our venue.
  He was so kindly directive, when required. Mostly, when you you receive your pictures, you will wonder how he was seemingly everywhere, capturing details you hadn't even imagined.

  I can\'t even begin to express how pleased I am with John Douglas Photography. My fiance and I met John in South Haven Michigan for an engagement photo shoot. We were a little reluctant because we had never taken any professional pictures before. John calmed our nerves with his friendly demeanor and innovative professionalism. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease while we were there. We had a blast and the pictures speak for themselves. Needless to say, after seeing how well the engagement pictures came out, we were not the least bit nervous for our wedding day photos. They are so beautiful and best of all the capture the joy and excitement of our big day. After hearing many photographer horror stories, I was so glad to have found a gem and I can\'t give him enough praise.   John and Mary photographed my daughter's wedding. They were a joy to work with, very professional, but relaxed, and did an outstanding job of capturing that special day in pictures. They visited the church and wedding locale well in advance and offered wonderful suggestions for photo locations. The wedding photos were beautifully done, with so many unique shots, both traditional and candid poses. The wedding party had a great time and lots of laughs working with them. I would highly recommend John and Mary to provide exceptional wedding photos.

  I really am not sure where to start. I am an events planner and have worked with countless brides, families, venues and vendors but on June 16, 2012 I was a bride. I was like every other woman that looks forward to marrying the love of their life. John captured that day for me. I have worked with so many talented photographers but John is more than that. He is dependable, responsive and trustworthy. He is creative and tirelessly shot photo after photo on one of the hottest days of the year. He did so graciously and patiently. Not only did he bend over backwards to get a picture of every significant moment of the day, he had fun! He is truly passionate about photography. This isnt a job to him. This seems like it's his love! He exceeded all expectations I had and I can't begin to say how hard I am to please! He has a way of being a perfectionist but not in the sense that some photographers do when it feels like they are taking away from your day. He was respectful of us and allowed us to enjoy our day with our family but was still able to get hundreds upon hundreds of beautiful pictures. Your wedding day is a day where you need true professionals; experts in their craft to execute their job. John executed his job flawlessly. I am so thankful for that and owe him a great deal for allowing us to enjoy our wedding day over and over again.
