Great quality for a great price

We are so glad we went with John Croyle for our wedding photos and video! Working with him was extremely easy, he is very responsive, gave us a very quick turnaround on our photos and video, and the shots he took are gorgeous. I loved the packaging of our wedding DVD, he really made it special! Also being able to have digital backups of everything is a must these days, and he made that extremely easy as well.

Beautiful pictures, very professional!

John was great go work with. Very responsive, flexible, and willing to work with us on anything! Pictures were beautiful and he even got great family photos outside in the dark!!! Very impressive. Captured all of our moments. If you're looking for someone who will be quick and get the job done well, John is your guy!!! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely Fantastic!

John Croyle was everything that we could have wanted in a wedding photographer! Even with us buying a simpler package deal, he still went above and beyond for us to customize to exactly what we needed for our big day! He was punctual with responses, able to meet as often as we needed and took a bunch of fantastic pictures for us. When John told us he was going to take thousands of pictures for us, he meant it! Thousands of photos to chose and download from our day and John even edited some for us to make them perfect. He was great to work with and gave us some fantastic memories to help us remember our day!

Fantastic.

Took soooo many great photos that we got to choose from. Didn't even notice he was taking pictures and wondered how he got some of the shots that he did. Family pictures were fast and efficient and easy. Did a fantastic job and am 100% pleased with the pictures we got.

John Croyle is a great photographer and I would reccomend him to anybody looking for an affordable and reliable wedding photographer.

John Croyle was very easy to work with and super responsive. He is a very friendly and professional photographer. He was good at directing photos in a kind and efficient way. We loved having him as our photographer for our big day!

Very professional. We got alot of pictures for our money and really liked being able to download and print them ourselves. Great quality and so many to choose from. Loved our photos!!

He is AMAZING! He not only is a great photographer but also so kind and warm. He captured so many moments that I literally cried just looking at the photos again. Worth every penny!

John was extremely responsive to our request to photograph our wedding. He has several packages available to fit our budget. His services included an engagement session. We had a great time working with him and we were so pleased with the photographs from our engagement shoot that we knew we chose the right photographer. Our wedding photos were fabulous. He shot over a thousand photos and had them available for review in a week. He is such a great photographer that we didn’t even know he was taking shots of us. Our friends and family comment on how beautiful the photos of our wedding are. We highly recommend John Croyle for wedding photography or any other event. His work is fabulous.

John was amazing to work with. We were married in July at the Columbus Athenaeum. John did our engagement pictures as part of our package. Both the engagement and the wedding pictures were amazing. John was very professional and didn't miss anything. He captured every crazy moment. He also had our pictures back to us within a week.

A co-worker had John has his wedding photographer and we loved the pictures. I priced out several photographers and selected John - for his work and the value. We are soo glad we did! We barely remember our best day ever, and thank goodness we have great pictures. John's turnaround was quick and we have the full stack of digital photos as well. Many of our guests commented about how he was around the event, but did not get in the way. Very pleased with the services, and love our pictures even more.

I did not have a really traditional wedding. The ceremony was held in a graveyard setup inside of a modest party center on Halloween, and the reception was held directly after. Pictures of the wedding party were taken in a park nearby before the event. I didn't want a photographer for the whole day, just for the important parts of the evening. John catered to all of my non-traditional needs. He answered e-mails at a rapid pace. He was exactly where he needed to be on time. He was unobtrusive while taking pictures. He was incredibly professional. He worked independently without needing to ask for a ton of information because he was prepared before he came. He just did his job. Later, people commented that they saw him taking pictures everywhere. I felt that I was downright stealing for the price. The pictures were better than any of my friend's wedding photographers at a fraction of the cost. I was truly impressed, and I highly recommend John Croyle to anyone.

It was a pleasure working with John. An experienced, affordable and talented photographer with a passion for his job. He is so fun, cool and a professional person. He has a beautiful way of highlighting the couple while also displaying most beautiful views of our venues with cinematic shots. We are happy because of him, he made our day. I can not express how utterly amazing John is. He is a great photographer, with a wonderful personality to boot! He worked with us to ensure that everything that we wanted was done and he was extremely professional and he was affordable. Our photos are beautiful, he literally captured everything!! I would use him again and again!

John croyle is the best! He was very professional, and patient with us. He captured every moment, from me getting hair and makeup done until the end of the reception. Wow... what can I say about John's work? We found out about him because he works with my dad. His prices were so much more reasonable than anywhere else we had looked, and his work is pure skill, not photoshop. He got us all of our wedding pictures THE NEXT DAY and they far exceeded my expectations. John was friendly to everyone in our wedding party, as well as our guests and other vendors. He got all of the shots we wanted in the amount of time we gave him. I cannot thank him enough for so perfectly capturing our wedding day!

John captured our day beautifully, I stare at our wedding pictures all of the time, they are amazing! John made sure to capture all of our special requests and did it with a smile, we had him working for several hours, from getting ready in the morning to ending the night at our hotel and he never lost his energy! I was planning a wedding in Ohio from Virginia and John was so helpful and easy to work with. He was referred to me by a good friend and I had seen his work before. There was no question in my mind; we wanted John to be the photographer for our wedding day. Our wedding was not very traditional, but he captured the excitement and beauty of the ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend John to anyone. One little piece of advice to any bride out there: pay the extra money to have him video record the ceremony and reception. I didn’t think I would watch it, and now that is my one and only regret. The day went by so fast and it would be wonderful to be able to relive those cherished moments forever.

The pictures were great. John and his associate were very professional and came up with some really different and interesting suggestions (ie the heisman pose from the groom, his niece and nephew). The overall wedding book was fabulous. It had a scrap book feel with the arrangement of mulltiple pictures per page. It is so different from any other wedding album we've see and we loved it!!!!

I contacted John because he was my sister's wedding photographer seven years ago and I remember loving his work and his personality. I was planning my own wedding, and hoping to keep it within a very modest budget. John did not hesitate to work with me to find a wedding photography package that was above and beyond any offer I could have imagined for our price range. He is very professional, takes beautiful pictures, and is so easy to work with. I am so glad I contacted him and I recommend him highly!

Disappointed doesn’t begin to express my thoughts on the photographs we received from John Croyle of our wedding day. We originally picked John because he had worked at our venue in the past, had great reviews and the price was right. I truly wish I would’ve spent a little more money to get a better quality product. Prior to the wedding I had sent him a list of 6 photos that were really important to me and I wanted to ensure were taken. Not a single one of those pictures was taken. Maybe I should’ve been more on the ball, but my mind was in a 100 different places that day, and I trusted him to take the shots we had discussed. Another major disappointment was that he pulled our Reverend out of our group shots. The Reverend was a great friend of ours whom we debated making the best man but instead asked to marry us. He was dressed the same as the groomsmen and I asked that he be treated as one of the groomsmen. Halfway through the wedding party pictures it was brought to my attention that he had not been included in any of the photos thus far. I quickly corrected this but now half of our wedding party pictures are unusable as they do not include the entire wedding party. Other issues include, using the street as the backdrop instead of turning us the other way to have the venue and beautiful courtyard as a backdrop, not taking any pictures of the bride, groom and groom’s parents, and taking extremely zoomed out pictures instead of asking people to get closer together for large family photos. Unfortunately I didn’t notice any of these things until after the day was well over and I was going through the pictures he provided. I will say that the one good thing was that we received our proofs within a week of the wedding, but I would still not recommend this photographer.
