Best Wedding Photographer!

I cannot say enough great things about Joey! It was such an honor to have him photograph our wedding! The photos speak for themselves- they are absolutely beautiful!
Prior to the wedding, he was very helpful with the planning of the timeline of the day, making suggestions for shooting locations, and types of photos we would plan to get that day. His suggestions definitely helped the wedding day flow seamlessly. He and his assistant, Nate, were both very wonderful to work with!
We got a few sneak-peak photos a few days after the wedding and then the entire online gallery was sent about 2 months after the wedding.
They captured a great variety of shots throughout the day and it is so fun to look back at all of them! They are memories we will cherish forever! We cannot thank you enough, Joey! We love our photos!

The best!

From the moment I saw Joey's work, I knew he had to photograph our wedding! As soon as I showed my now-husband, he agreed. We immediately set up a call with Joey to talk about style, vision, etc and an hour later, we booked! He was attentive, helpful, excited, passionate, professional, and we hit it off. Soon after, we had Joey come to NYC for our engagement session. We had the best day! We took photos at multiple spots around the city and they are spectacular. Joey has an incredible talent for capturing the person and our photographs really reflect that. They are just perfection! We chatted a few times leading up to the wedding (he is always extremely responsive) and he helped me to create a timeline of events for the day-of. On the day, Joey was incredible! He showed up early to scout out locations for bridal portraits, groomsmen photos, first look photos, family, and wedding party photos. He was constantly on the go with his assistant making sure he captured every aspect of the day. He was with us from the beginning until the very end and was joyful, energetic, fun, and professional the entire time. The next day he sent me preview photos that took everyone's breath away. The love, happiness, and personality coming out of the photos is magic! Joey was so much fun to work with and I can't wait to find another project to work with him again! I cannot speak highly enough of him or his talent and would recommend him to everyone!

Joey is awesome to work with. His photos came out better than I could have ever expected. He makes sure everyone is having a good time, and the photos never felt stilted or posed. Joey was great from beginning to end. He was super accommodating with the various events associated with our Indian wedding (even dividing the coverage over two days of events), and flew out to Northern California for both our engagement session and our wedding. He is very communicative and makes sure we stay on task while also making sure that the wedding is fun and you are having a good time. When I found out I had a family member who was sick after the wedding, he helped me get downloadable copies of all the photos so I could print them out. Everytime I see the pictures again, I truly get to relive every moment from the wedding! Totally worth it, and absolutely no regrets choosing Joey as our wedding photographer.

He is so personally invested in ensuring your wedding photos are perfect and has a fabulous eye for color, light, and composition. Less than two months before my wedding, I had a terrible experience with my wedding gown alterations, and Joey quickly and expertly tracked down a reputable seamstress in DC to fix the damage! Like I said, Joey really goes above and beyond.

My entire family was blown away by his professionalism and decorum during our wedding, I truly could relax on my wedding day knowing Joey was coordinating! And the PHOTOS - WOW. Joey's talent is effortless and timeless and he captured stunning bridal party/ couple portraits - AND he was on the dance floor capturing action shots I will cherish with my friends and family for a lifetime. He really can do it all!! I cannot recommend Joey enough!

Joey was incredible! The day was made so special by his energy - he took many candid shots, and had so many great ideas to create some great memories! He worked his magic with everyone - the wait staff, the band, the wedding party, the wedding guests!! I am so grateful we were lucky enough to have him!

I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Joey Kennedy for my daughter's recent wedding. He is truly amazing. His attention to detail and ability to work under pressure is truly a gift. On the wedding day, he was there from start to finish, capturing the details of the day with style and beauty. He really treated our wedding like he was a family member. I never expected the attention to detail that he provided. He is truly an artist and his passion for his work shines through in the finished photographs. He has such a beautiful way of making traditional wedding photos look like a professional shoot.

If you value photography and the memories you will have to share with generations to come, you must hire Joey!!! Not only is he an artist with an amazing ability to capture moments beautifully, he is also extremely passionate about his clients and his work. By the time our wedding had come, we already felt that Joey was part of the family. Our engagement session was our first experience with being photographed, and we weren't sure how it would go--we both ended up having so much fun, and we have gorgeous photos to look back on. On our wedding day, Joey worked with a tight schedule and freezing weather, as well as a wedding party of 22!! Our photos are absolutely stunning, and we could not be happier with the result. Joey will make you feel like the most important people in the world on your wedding day, and he will capture all of the special moments that you will definitely forget as the day flies by.

Joey is the BEST!!! As we started planning our wedding, we knew that the perfect photographer was going to be essential. Our wedding day would be over in the blink of an eye, but amazing photos would help us remember and relive the day for years to come. When I looked at Joey's website and online portfolio, I was blown away. I love the way that Joey captures the subjects as main characters with the light and surroundings as a supporting cast to really tell a story in each and every photo. I had an initial consultation with Joey and never looked back. Joey's energy is contagious and his passion for his art unparalleled.

Joey has a phenomenal ability to capture the unique essence of every wedding he photographs. Joey was one of our favorite vendors - he was GREAT to work with and we enjoyed it very much. He stayed with us and battled hurdles when doing our engagement shoot. He made it fun and stress free for us. We loved those pictures and it made us very excited for the wedding. Then prior to the wedding we had professional conversations (which def doesn't happen with nearly enough vendors!). This made us even more comfortable with Joey. Then the wedding came! So happy/satisfied/you name it with our pictures. They are more than AMAZING. Joey has eyes like no others and the way he shoots light is breath taking. Joey is wonderful!! His work amazing and he is so easy to work with. We booked him based on his work and a phone conversation since we live in Atlanta, so we were a little nervous, but upon meeting him for our engagement photos we knew he would be great.

On our wedding day, Joey was with us from 12pm when we started getting ready until 11pm when the reception ended. While we were getting ready and during the reception, I barely noticed he was there, but he got a lot of great shots. I liked that he was unobtrusive, but that if he had a shot he really wanted, he'd ask me to pose for it.

We did a 'first look' photo session before the ceremony and took most of our photos then, and he was very organized and professional. He had photo ideas saved on his phone of things he'd like to do, so he showed us a few and we set up some great shots. This showed that he did research beforehand to see what kind of photos he wanted to do. Also, he came to our rehearsal to see the space and lighting, and he also explored the area around our venue to scope out good locations. We haven't seen all the photos yet, but our preview on his blog is amazing! Everyone who has seen them raves about them.

Joey was on time to every meeting we had, and he always responded quickly to any questions I had.
