Beautiful work & beautiful people
Joel and Amber were stars on our wedding team! They went above and beyond to make the whole experience seamless and so special. They even coordinated with a local shop where we met on our first date and we got to take some wedding pictures there, as a total surprise to us! We received our pictures super quickly and they are absolutely gorgeous. You couldn't ask for a better photography team. -

Above and Beyond
I cannot say enough good things about Joel and Amber. Choosing them as our wedding photographer was one of the best choices we made in our entire wedding planning process. They went above and beyond in the months leading up to the wedding, during the engagement shoot, and on the day itself. With a wedding, there are some vendors that are going to add stress to your wedding, and there are some vendors that are going to remove stress. Joel and Amber removed SO much stress from us during the planning process and on our wedding day. I am an enneagram 1, and they are an enneagram 1's dream.
They are so organized. They stay in touch consistently in the months leading up to the wedding and are always quick to respond to questions or give advice/recommendations when asked. Their resource library is so helpful for planning.
On the wedding day itself, they are like magic, honestly. They do a great job with the schedule and keeping everyone on track. They helped me in so many non-photographer and photographer related ways on the day. I was truly blown away by how amazing they were during our reception. They have this ability to completely blend in to the environment but also capture everything. Every time I was talking to a guest and wanted to take a picture with them, they were right there ready to take the photo, and I had not even noticed they were there before that moment. They are not overbearing, and they don't ask guests to go out of their way to capture a certain moment or redo certain moments for pictures. I absolutely loved this about them. They captured people interacting naturally. All of our pictures felt so real and like a true memory of the best day. Somehow they were everywhere at the same time and managed to capture it all.
I could keep going forever, but I will wrap it up. I am SO happy with how our pictures turned out and truly so grateful that Joel and Amber were there on our wedding day. I would 1000% recommend. -

I have known Joel and Amber for years, and they were friends before they were ever our photographers. I always knew they were the only ones I would ever trust to take my wedding pictures, so I was overjoyed when I found out they were available on our wedding date!! They literally blew us away with how smoothly they made our day go. They kept us on track so we didn't have to think about our schedule, but they also let us live in the moment and fully soak up our day. Their pictures are stunning, and their personality and professionalism is absolutely unmatched. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We love you, Joel and Amber!! -

Where to begin... My husband Matt and I got married 11.20.21. I have looked through our wedding photos, what feels like 1000 times now and I love them more and more each time. The photos are impeccable and the experience that Joel and Amber provide is even better. My favorite part of working with Joel and Amber is how personable and caring they are. From day 1 we felt like family, not clients. Their mission is to help you relive the joy and love of your wedding day when you look at your wedding photos-MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! J&A are kind, attentive, responsive and so helpful. Working with Joel and Amber has been the biggest highlight of our wedding season. -

Joel and Amber are simply the best addition to any wedding team. We booked them within the first few weeks of being engaged, even with our wedding being more than a year out, and it was easily the most treasured decision we made. They have helped guide us with vendor selections, what packages to choose, and they are always very quick to respond to any message you send, and answer any questions. I can't even put into words the amount of joy and happiness they have put into our lives not only by meeting them, but by the experience we had with them. We have looked at our wedding pictures a thousand times, and we have only been married for 3 weeks. And yes, this amazing duo got us more than 800 pictures back within a week and a half of taking them, and also gave us several sneak peeks of the pictures, including the night of our wedding!! Not to mention, everyone has commented on how amazing our pictures turned out. J&A was easily the best decision we made in the entire wedding process. We are so grateful, and blessed, to know them and call them friends now. -

Joel and Amber are the first vendor you should book. They seriously made the wedding experience.
We reached out and had consultations with a few photographers. Joel and Amber made a huge impact from the first conversation. They were friendly and engaging, and they’ve been doing this for a long time so they know what they’re doing. They were familiar with our ceremony and reception venues, which made us feel comfortable. They emailed us galleries from our venues and we loved their work! My husband and I are tech nerds, and we LOVED their online client portal and interface. All of our invoices, emails, questionnaires, etc. were so organized (trust me, organization is appreciated during the crazy wedding planning process!). Joel and Amber were so flexible with our meeting times. I currently don’t live in the area, and COVID has really complicated when and where we could meet. Also, when there were issues with my wedding dress, Joel and Amber were flexible in rescheduling my bridal shoot. During the whole planning period, they sent us emails checking in, asking for details a little bit at a time so we never felt overwhelmed, and they even sent us gifts along the way! They are so kind and it showed in every single interaction. Fast forward to the day of the wedding. Joel and Amber showed up (with gifts – of course!) and had learned the names of our parents, siblings, and wedding party. They were timely and helped keep us on schedule without ever feeling pushy. Their experience was crucial here. They made the events of the day flow seamlessly. They took all the pressure off my husband and me and kept reminding us to savor the special moments. They were polite and unobtrusive. What really stood out is when we told other vendors that Joel and Amber were our photographers, the other vendors were excited! Joel and Amber are so respected in this area and field that other vendors feel more confident when they’re working together. Post wedding, we got to see our pictures so quickly!! We saw highlights that night and got all of the photos back the day we returned from the honeymoon. We didn’t have to wait months like a lot of my friends have had to do. Joel and Amber have offered us printing and album options, but have not been pushy or made us feel like we had to buy from them. All of my wedding party and guests who have had weddings commented on how amazing our photographers were. They were so surprised because their experiences with photographers was all over the map. Joel and Amber were truly the best vendors we booked, and I highly highly recommend them! -

I worked with Joel and Amber when I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding, so I knew even before I got engaged that they were the photographers I wanted for my wedding! Luckily my husband wholeheartedly agreed with me! They were an absolute dream to work with. Before the wedding, they provided so many resources and tips on wedding planning, scheduling, and other things that were so helpful! On wedding day, we were running slightly behind schedule, and they were completely calm the whole time, which made me feel calm and relaxed! They kept us moving through the photos while keeping it light and fun, making us laugh along the way! During the entire process, my husband and I felt like we were so much more than just their clients. And the most important part...our wedding pictures are BEAUTIFUL! They are something that we are going to treasure for the rest of our lives. -

Absolutely incredible
There are not enough positive words to describe Joel and Amber and they way they run their business. From beginning to end we felt valued, heard, and loved. They are organized and never missed an e-mail. They helped us to feel natural and comfortable in front of a camera and made the whole experience fun. They make decision making easy and were always willing to work with us on planning, budget, photos, and creating our album. You will not regret choosing Joel and Amber as your wedding photographers and new friends. -

They are amazing at what they do but more than that they make you feel loved and cherished while doing it. They truly made my wedding day stress free and fun! Not to mention their pictures are SO beautiful. Joel and Amber went above and beyond even leading up to the wedding day to make sure the day would run as smoothly as possible. They showed up early, worked gracefully and efficiently to make it the perfect day. I seriously can't say enough good things about them. They really do know what they are doing when it comes to getting amazing pictures but also doing it quickly and in a timely manner. I never once saw them not smiling! (Which is huge) I would highly recommend Joel and Amber! You WONT regret it. :)

Lacie Sent on 12/19/2017Joel and Amber went above and beyond to capture all of our special moments perfectly. We were fortunate to get to know them through our engagement pictures a few months prior to the wedding. It was my dream to have our wedding in Savannah, GA. Unfortunately, I knew many of my family and friends would not be able to make the trip so we booked a local venue. My husband and I decided to have a destination engagement session. Not only did they travel to Savannah with us, they also captured a few spots in Charleston about an hour away. Everything was PERFECT! They took the time to arrive a few days early to scope out the most beautiful spots, and it all paid off. Our wedding day was just as unbelievable. All of the pictures were gorgeous! On top of that, they were always extremely quick with getting our pictures back to us. We were incredibly fortunate to have Joel and Amber as our photographers. They are two of the most kind, caring, giving, and hard-working individuals we have ever met. If you are looking for photographers in the Huntsville area, you will NOT be disappointed with them.

From the first moment we met for coffee to discuss my engagement pictures to our wedding day through having my bridal portraits taken in 34 degree weather, Joel and Amber have been amazing. They go above and beyond to make everything so special. They are great at responding quickly to emails and will work with you to find the perfect place for photos. I highly recommend them.
