A wedding singing sensation

Joe traveled all the way to Madrid, Spain to be a part of our special
day, playing at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and during our first
dance. He was absolutely extraordinary! Joe took the extra step by
creating a custom arrangement of “Thinking out loud” for our first
dance, which added an unforgettable touch to our evening. He's the
life of the party at a wedding, and he brought an immense amount of
joy to our guests, who continue to rave about how amazing he was!
We are incredibly grateful that Joe was a part of our wedding day
and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in search of a

Joe was super easy to work with, professional and a great performer. I had seen him play before so I knew he was a talented and entertaining musician, but when I booked him for a party at my house, I was very pleasantly surprised by his professional demeanor. His music provided the perfect ambiance for our party and his presence is very charming and fun. He was even willing to make some announcements on the microphone for us at the party, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend Joe for any event you may have!

Joe is a one-man, dream band!

We chose Joe to perform at our wedding welcome party, and he absolutely stole the show! When I initially reached out to him, he responded within just one minute! I initially thought it might be an automated reply, but to my surprise, it was Joe himself. My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing him play at a local venue, and he left us thoroughly impressed with his exceptional skills, friendly demeanor, and professionalism.

Joe Marx was an exceptional addition to our wedding day. Joe provided beautiful music during both the ceremony and cocktail hour. His repertoire featured a perfect blend of classic standards during the ceremony and lively melodies for the reception, seamlessly adapting to our requests. Maui wedding 7/16/22

Our wedding was just three weeks ago, and Joe was the absolute talk of the town throughout the entire day. The moment I came across his videos, where he effortlessly played classics while engaging with guests, I knew I had found the perfect choice. He didn't just meet my expectations; he surpassed them. 1 MILLION OUT OF 10 — It doesn’t get better than Joe

Our entire experience with Joe was a solid five-star journey, right from the beginning to the end. I won't even need to vouch for his talent; you can see it for yourself on his Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify. His guitar skills truly sound as impeccable in real life as they do online!
We had Joe craft a special song arrangement for my bridal processional, using “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, and it turned out absolutely perfect. Joe even played it again for us during the cocktail hour, which brought my husband to tears (in a good way, of course!). It was undeniably one of the standout moments of our wedding day.

Before the big day, we had a chat with Joe to go over all the details. Since we were using his sound system for the ceremony, he made sure to coordinate with our officiant to ensure she was comfortable using the microphone. He even advised her to move the mic before the "you may now kiss your bride" announcement to avoid any background interference in our photos. This level of attention to detail exemplifies the professionalism you can expect when you hire Joe.

Speaking of sound systems, Joe employs top-notch equipment. We were thoroughly impressed with the sound quality during both the ceremony and cocktail hour. The microphone used during the ceremony worked flawlessly, and all our guests could hear us perfectly. I recently revisited some phone videos from the wedding (not the professional ones, just clips taken on phones), and I was amazed at how well the sound came through, even in those casual videos.

Beyond his musical talents, Joe is just an awesome person to be around. We liked him so much that we invited him to stay for the reception, and dancing with him was an absolute blast!

Joe is one of the most accomplished guitarists in Southern California, and after experiencing his performance at our wedding, he unquestionably lived up to this reputation. We had the privilege of having Joe play at our wedding reception. My wife and I weren't seeking the typical dance and DJ-style wedding; instead, we aimed for an elegant evening with exceptional food and engaging conversations. Joe's acoustic guitar was the perfect complement to our vision.

Heart on a Mic

It's impossible not to like Joe. Harder to not like his music. He is a very charming, and a wildly caring and fun soul, and that essence comes across in his songs.
