As an out of state couple traveling to Wyoming for the first time for our Elopment, Joann went above and beyond from the beginning to ensure we knew the process and what the best options were. Joann helped make our day amazing!
We decided to get married with only a month to plan it because family was already coming to visit and it made sense. On this short of notice Joann happily agreed to officiate on a Sunday in September, which can be a busy time for weddings in our area. She was a pleasure to plan with and when we met for the first time the day of the ceremony there was good energy right away. It turns out we had mutual acquaintances, and, along with her jovial personality and great smile it she felt like another family member was attending. The actual ceremony was a bit of a blur, but I remember Joann reading our vows and the feeling it gave me was warm and happy.

Joann was amazing and really made our ceremony so special! She was responsive, helpful, and professional throughout the whole process. We had to pivot quite a bit on the wedding day and Joann was flexible and gracious - when she arrived, she immediately soothed my nerves, allowing me to be fully present for the ceremony. Joann was wonderful! Leading up to our ceremony she was very helpful making sure we had everything we would need for a ceremony in Grand Teton National Park. Her process was very easy to navigate as well. She sends out a questionnaire beforehand to get to know you and how you want the ceremony to go. She will follow what you give her which is great! Joann made our little elopement ceremony a truly heartfelt and memorable one! She was very responsive, flexible, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She performed such a beautiful ceremony for us that we will never forget. She made our ceremony so personal and yet a surprise. Communication was thorough and very clear. Joann went above and beyond by finding out local vendor information and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. she made the entire process stress free ensuring delivery of our marriage certificate while we were enjoying our honeymoon. Joann was an amazing addition to our special day!

Joann was very professional, very personable and made me feel at ease in planning my out-of-state elopement ceremony in a place that I had never been and her guidance really made the difference for my event. When planning something like this out of state it can be kind of scary and the communication level was top notch in deciding preparation and confirming the event and saving the date. She also assisted with providing witnesses and helping us post a Facebook live and handling the paperwork. She was also on top of responding and great communication.

I found Joann very highly recommended and engaged in facebook wedding grouos and in the planning process Joann was very responsive and helpful! I felt very comfortable and at ease especially considering we were having a destination elopement. She gave us a questionnaire that made the ceremony very personable and romantic. She included little details that will always stick with us and it went exactly as we imagined plus more! Also, special shoutout for her officiating outside in the snow in 0° weather!

Joann helped us in many ways - before, during, and after our ceremony. She helped us with information regarding park permits, advice on what to do near Grand Teton, and offered many plan Bs in the event of a force majeur (we married during the winter storms at the end of ‘22). The ceremony was cold (by design), but very sweet and memorable — we have no complaints whatsoever!

My now wife and I hired Joann to officiate our wedding, which was an intimate, secular, family-only ceremony on a hillside near Victor, ID. After getting to know us through an in-person meeting, emails, and a written survey, Joann arranged a very thoughtful and beautiful service that my wife and I feel well-reflected our relationship, goals, and commitment to each other. Joann was very flexible in letting us choose how we wished to celebrate our marriage. Her motto of "your day, your way" was apt. We enjoyed working with Joann and would recommend her to others in Teton Valley and Jackson Hole who are looking for a thoughtful, caring, flexible, and eloquent wedding officiant.

Called Joann the last week of June for a last minute wedding on Fourth of July in a national park near her. She was not available, but was able to offer July 3. We submitted our personal story information individually. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early. She was dressed professionally in black pants and jacket with white shirt. She was friendly, upbeat, and reassuring. Her service was good and her wedding service was fantastic! She took our information and created a very personal ceremony, targeted to just us! We can not over-state how pleased we are with having her do our ceremony!

We live in Florida and journeyed out to Wyoming to get married. Planned for over a year. The night before our wedding our officiant was in ICU, called us at 10pm explained and said let me make a phone call. 20minutes later Joann called and said don’t worry I’ll be there. Wonderful guide for our elopement
Joan was very helpful in guiding my husband and I. We were struggling with what kind of ceremony to have for our elopement. She took all my calls (more than 3), wrote back to all my emails with helpful answers, and was very kind in sharing suggestions.
She sent us a questioner before the big day, so she could get to know us. It was nice to sit down and answer all the questions with my then fiancé. And on our wedding day it felt like we had known her for a long time. She made our ceremony special.

Joann made our wedding so personalized and special. We had not met her beforehand but we had a phone conversation in which she got to know us as a couple. She implementing everything we had asked in the ceremony. It was truly special and amazing. Thank you!!

Such a wonderful ceremony
Joann and her wife were so wonderful! I can't say enough good things about their sweetness and their fantastic work. The vows were personal and exactly what we wanted as well as location and support through the ceremony!
