My husband and I hired Jess to capture our pregnancy announcement and absolutely LOVE how our photos came out! This shoot was so important to us, since this is our first baby, and having seen and been familiar with Jess’s work, she was my first and only choice I wanted when seeking a photographer. We love Jess’s totally organic, candid lifestyle work and after having already done engagement and wedding shoots with other photographers in the past, it was important for us to find a photographer who wasn’t going to force anything too posed or stiff. We would recommend Jess to anyone seeking the same fun, natural experience! -

I 1000% recommend Jess for any special event or small moment you want to look back on the pictures and feel the authenticity in that moment. She shot our out of town wedding in October and when we got our sneak peeks back within a week (so fast) it was like we were reliving those moments all over again. She even captured moments we didn't remember because of how fast the day went.
From the second we booked her we were impressed with how organized and prompt she was to responding. We love her style/creativity, so we didn't come in with a long list of shots we wanted her to take. The only list was the formal family portraits. It went to show we were right in trusting that she can see the magic happening and capture it perfectly.
Invest in your photos/photographer, because it's what you look at for a lifetime!! -

Impeccable! Exquisite! Sublime! Absolute Perfection!
If I had just one word to sum up our experience with Jessica it would be perfection - a state of being complete with nothing requisite desired. We booked Jessica to do family/newborn photos and she did not disappoint. Jessica came to our house shortly after our daughters birth. We elected for at home photos being it was winter time in the frozen tundra of Minne-snow-ta. Jessica was able to miraculously find natural light for exquisite photos in our rather poorly light home, canvassing our home into a studio with just the use of a few pillows, blankets, and a basket. I could rave chapters about Jessica's work product and character, but for those reading this review I'm going to break it down into categories:
1. Quality - Jessica either possesses magic or a well-trained eye. The geographical location of our home, its windows, and the hoard of oak trees and an over-sized cottonwood tree make natural light almost non-existent. But somehow Jessica managed to pull a rabbit out of her bag of tricks and situated us in the best possible light in our home producing Pinterest-worthy (or wedding wire worthy) photos. With 2 pillows, a basket, and a few blankets she captured our little peanut perfectly - all snug as a bug in a... basket (see photos for reference).
2. Character - Not only did Jessica trek across the frozen tundra to our home to take photos, but she also masterfully managed to maintain the attention of our rather rambunctious 2-year old. He was smitten with her to say the least and has since for the past several months demanded, "let's take a picture" (lookout photographers - future competition). Jessica brought an energy and ease to the session that made us 'feel at home' (both literally and emotionally).
3. Price - You can't beat her prices for the quality of the product you'll receive and the fantastic session you'll experience. Jessica makes you feel both comfortable and energized.
4. Time - This was no Alice in Wonderland scenario (for those curious and confused, I'm referencing the white rabbit - "I'm late, I'm late, I'm late"). Jessica was on time, flexible with our schedules (juggling the arrival of our baby girl, family visiting, and holiday plans), responsive to emails, and returned our photos with lightening speed.
To anyone looking for that special photographer - one that is easy to work with, has a creative mind, and genuinely loves what they do - look no further. I cannot recommend Jessica with higher enthusiasm. -

We hired Jess for a shoot very last minute, but even through a few obstacles she knocked it out of the park! She went the extra mile to scout multiple unique locations for us and was incredibly flexible when we had to push our shoot back a day. She got our photos edited and back to us very quickly and we are thrilled with the result!! -

Talented and so comfortable to be around!
We hir ed Jessica for our salon photo shoot to showcase our work & get some imaging for our branding. Jess was VERY professional and helped bring my vision to life with always being so supportive & detailed on every aspect of the day! I loved her work so much that I also hired Jessica for my Maternity & family session! My daughter is 3 and Jessica helped keep the day smooth and was so very patient and helpful throughout our photo shoot! She even came so prepared that she shared a pair of hand warmers for my family while we warmed up because it was very chilly that morning! If that doesn’t express the kind of person she is, I don’t know how else to put it! Can hardly wait for our next sessions to come! -

Jessica provides amazing pictures to our family. Her aesthetic is what I was looking for and works with lighting in a beautiful way. The photos weren’t cheesy and didn’t look forced. She captured our baby in such a special way, we will always cherish these photos! -

Wonderful and no stress!
Jessica was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive for setting up a time, planning, and answering questions. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera and spent a lot of time finding nice light/scenery. She was so easy and fun to work with prior/during/ and after the shoot. She was also very timely with getting our pictures back to us.
Our pictures are beautiful and catch us in natural poses/expressions. We highly recommend Jessica for a professional, no stress, easy and fun photo shoot! -

Jessi is so great to work with! Before family photo shoots I have been nervous about not knowing how to pose everyone or how to get my children to act appropriately. She always makes it very laid back and playful and is happy to guide us. We are always blown away with how many fun candids she captures. It’s been especially fun when she suggests picture combinations that we weren’t expecting. We’ve done photo shoots with Jessi 7 times over several years and hope to do more in the future! I have recommended Jessi to friends and will continue to because of the high quality of her work. -

Jessi was a dream to work with. She made me feel prepared for the shoot days before by asking questions and giving suggestions on props, locations, etc. I don't know how she did it, but she was able to capture two incredibly crazy dogs that didn't listen at all! I was so worried there weren't going to be any good shots of us and the dogs, due to their behavior. Turns out, I am in love with every. single. picture. I am blown away by how natural they look and how comfortable she made us feel in front of the camera. I will absolutely be using her for all of my future photography needs/wants! -

Perfect fall shoot
Booking our engagement shoot with Jess was the best decision we've made so far wedding planning. She was incredibly helpful at picking the best time and location and was so flexible and wonderful with getting us the the perfect fall shoot with aspens and mountains. She made us feel comfortable to the point where we didn't even feel like we were posing, which was great because both my fiance and I tend to feel awkward when taking posed photos, which was our primary concern with an engagement shoot.
We received the pictures a couple weeks later and they are absolutely breathtaking. Jess captured our relationship and the gorgeous scenery perfectly. I can't stop looking at them and all of our family and friends keep raving over them as well. I have never felt more photogenic in my life and I'm so happy to have these photos to look back on the early years of our relationship. I immediately booked a second shoot with Jess and I can't wait to see how great those look too! I'm so sad she's moving from Denver, but I highly recommend booking her as your photographer no matter where you live. -

Amazing engagement sunrise session!!
I reached out to Jessica because I really wanted mountain pictures done. I saw her photos online and fell in love with her aesthetic and how she captured mountains as a back drop. She was responsive and flexible as we worked out dates and ended up with a late September sunrise session. My expectations were exceeded as Jessica came ready to go, especially with music that I previously told her my fiancé and I love to help us feel more comfortable! We both had a blast and the session flew by. I was the most impressed with how quickly we got our photos back because they were so beautifully done! I can’t stop staring at our gorgeous pictures - picking out the perfect ones for our save the dates will be so hard because we love them all! I can’t thank Jessica enough for capturing the love between my fiancé and I so perfectly! -

Jess is the best!
Jess took engagement pictures for my fiance and I and it was the best session ever! She is the perfect combination of professional and fun. Jess can make anyone feel comfortable, which results in amazing pictures that really capture YOU. She was amazingly flexible in helping us figure out what could work for both us and her, giving us advice on locations of where to take pictures but also letting us chose what we thought would fit us. The only thing I was nervous about was whether or not my fiance and I could look natural in the photos, and she helped us with that so much. Jess was able to make us feel so comfortable and gave us great advice on poses and movements that made the pictures turn out so, so amazing. She also got our pictures back to us crazy fast! Which was so fun because of how excited we were to see them. We really couldn't be happier we chose Jess to take our engagement pictures and are very much looking forward to having her there on our wedding day :) -

Jessica was amazing to work with. She gave great tips as to how to pose and was so encouraging and enthusiastic! I loved how she made me feel during what could have been an uncomfortable experience. Jessica was up for using my ideas and put her artistic style on them, she made me look like a model, and my hubby LOVED them! -

Creative and Delightful!
Jessica did an amazing job with our wedding video and even brought a drone because she was doing it solo and wanted as many angles as possible! She went above and beyond to capture our special day - climbing into crazy places to get a good shot, coming up with great ideas in the moment and helping my groom and I feel at ease and natural in front of the camera. She agreed to a 12 hour day with me from start to finish with a smile and even personally came to tell me she was done for the night and gave me a big hug. She was absolutely amazing! I cherish the video and pictures she took that day because she was able to capture them in the perfect moment. I very highly recommend Jess!! You won’t be disappointed. -

She’s the best!
Engagement pictures can be super awkward but Jess made ours super fun! She was laid back and made everything extremely comfortable. Our pictures came out absolutely incredible! I would recommend her again and again one hundred times over. -
