I had the honor of working with JLP both as a bride and a bridesmaid. Jessica and her team were wonderful to work with on both occasions. As a bride, she made the process easy both in planning and on the day. During my trial, she listened to my dreams before starting and then worked with me to make appropriate adjustments. Jessica took the time to understand cultural needs and ensured a style that would accommodate an outfit change without needing a new hairstyle. She helped build a timeline for our event day to ensure all ran smoothly. I would definitely work with JLP again! -

I used Jessica for hair on my wedding day. The trial was excellent and she was very accommodating until it was just right. On the day of she was very prompt and was able to complete 5 "bridesmaids", 4 "mother of brides", and my hair in a very quick manner. Everyone's hair looked great and held up throughout the day. She was able to accommodate a quick add on the day of , help a bridesmaid with extension and add barrettes into my hair with no hesitation. She was so good! HIGHLY recommend! -

If you are looking for a makeup / hair artist / wedding dress then look now further! We had Jessica do our hair and makeup for my wedding and we all loved how everything came out. She is on top of everything. I also received a custom wedding dress from her shop. She sent me pics of the dress with each step they took. She got back to me super quick anytime I text her with questions. She showed up on time and ready to start the day of my wedding and she was really flexible with the time. She is so sweet on top of it all. I do not typically write reviews but I was beyond impressed with Jessica and her work. Her shop is really clean and cute as well. -

Jess was absolutely amazing. Accommodated all my wishes and made all of us glow. I couldn’t have dreamed of better for my big day and am beyond thankful for every obstacle she pulled off (like sewing my moms zipper that broke lol). She definitely went out of her way for us and I Am forever grateful. -

I used JLPmakeup for my wedding and we had Tiffany and she was great! I had someone else do our makeup and Tiffany did our hair. She was super sweet and accommodating to any type of style my girls wanted. Definitely recommend to future brides! -

Jessica and Ashtan are truly artists! My hair and makeup beat all expectations! Jess, the owner, was quick to answer emails, organized and made me feel totally comfortable. She provided me with a thorough timeline to ensure we would not run late on my wedding day. Ashtan accompanied Jess to assist with makeup. All my girls could not stop raving on how beautiful they looked. I would highly recommend! You will not regret it! -

My wife and I met Jessica at a vendor show at our venue. We clicked right away and knew we were going to book with her! To start, her vibe personality wise and company wise is incredibly welcoming and comfortable. I am incredibly indecisive and ended up having three paid hair trials. After the third, she was able to combine multiple pictures that I showed her to create the perfect hairstyle for my wedding! I texted her less than a week before the wedding to have this third trial, and she was happy to accommodate me. By the way, her studio space is wonderful too.
On the day of the wedding, her girls arrived on time and ready to work. My wife and I had our hair done by Jessica and the rest of the bridal party (14 girls!!!!) had hair and makeup done. Everyone was happy with the results. Everyone who came was nice, professional, and talented! They were able to stay ahead of schedule which was a relief having so many people involved. Our vibe was rustic and romantic. Biased probably, but my hair was my favorite style. I got compliments ALL night on how beautiful and unique it was! Contact Jessica and she will be happy to work with whatever you need! -

Jessica was amazing. Finding an on-site hair/makeup person wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but I'm so glad that I found Jessica. She showed up on time ready to go on the day of my wedding. she listened to what each of my girls wanted, and she made us all look beautiful. She also had a ton of ideas for girls who were unsure of what they wanted. My hair and makeup lasted all day through the humidity and dancing. I would definitely recommend Jessica and her team for your wedding!

Flawless and professional
JLP exceeded all my expectations! Jess was flexible in working with my large bridal party. She created a schedule for the morning and completed all hair and makeup services with time to spare! All of the girls were so happy with their hair and makeup and it lasted throughout the whole night! I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup and they look amazing in pictures! I could not be happier with Jess’s work! -

Seriously amazing!
Booking Jessica and her team was the easiest decision I made for my wedding. Hair and make-up was one of my biggest stress points early on in the planning stages since I really don't wear make-up, like ever.. I was nervous I'd end up not looking like myself. I went to Jessica for a trial run and was honestly blown away. I felt so beautiful! she knew exactly what I wanted even though I didn't exactly know how to articulate it (ha!) and the day of my wedding she and her team showed up on time and every bridesmaid loved their hair and make-up! they were so fun, easy going, and so talented. They finished on time and were so accommodating to a couple last minute changes. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. Do yourself a favor and BOOK JLPmakeup! -

Shana arrived on time and did an amazing job on every ones hair and makeup. She's very sociable and easy to get along with. Because of her amazing skills I got to see my husband cry for the very first time as I walked down the aisle. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs hair and makeup done. -

Taylor Sent on 10/08/2018Jess was an absolute lifesaver this weekend. After I gave her the wrong date originally she was willing to wake up extra early to be able to do mine & my bridal parties hair before another event she had that day. I had someone scheduled to come and do mine & 4 other’s make up. It wasn’t until 6:30 they contacted me to tell me they weren’t going to be coming. I was in absolute panic. Thankfully Jess starting making phone calls getting ahold of her girls and was able to get Amber to come do our make up. Not only did Jess give us all beautiful hair she was able to save the day with a make up artist as well. I couldn’t be more thankful. I would highly recommend Jess and her services to anyone looking!

Laura Sent on 10/03/2018I was initially anxious about hiring someone to do my makeup since I don’t normally wear very much, but Jessica helped me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day. She was very accommodating in the weeks leading up to the event (especially during the trial!) and provided a calming presence as I dealt with all the craziness of the big day. She was very quick and thorough with all of my family members, and did an especially amazing job with both my and my sister's unicorn hair (I'm seriously in love with the photos of my rainbow braids!). Jessica is a true pro and I can’t recommend her services highly enough! -

There were so many last minute changes but Jessica made it work without a hitch. My hair looked incredible and the airbrush makeup was absolutely perfect! My bridesmaids and family looked amazing as well. Jessica is incredibly sweet, professional and amazing at what she does! I am so happy that I decided to work with her! I highly recommend her! -
Megan Sent on 06/30/2018Coming from a small town in Blairstown, NJ, I knew I wanted to support a local business to do my makeup and hair for my wedding. I have known Jessica for such a long time and I am thrilled to have her do my hair and makeup for my big day.
Jessica makes me feel beautiful every single time she does my hair, whether it is coloring and highlighting or doing my hair trial for my wedding. Also, she makes my skin look flawless and natural when she does my make up. My first make-up trial with Jessica was done over a year ago for a June wedding and EVERYONE, including the bride of that wedding complemented me on how beautiful my makeup was. I went to two other girls in Bethlehem, PA prior to booking Jessica and it was such a mistake. The makeup felt caked on and when I looked at myself up close, I felt like I looked like a clown.
Jessica is kind, warm, and makes you feel comfortable the entire time you are with her. If you are unsure about where you want to go with your hair and make up, she knows exactly what to say and what options to give for your hair length and/or skin tone and type of skin.
Jessica is not your run of the mill make up artist who is just doing this for the money. This woman takes her time and puts so much pride into her work. I am so lucky to have her working my wedding on July 14th.
Jessica is flexible with scheduling for a multitude of different services, whether its hair upkeep, trials, or getting a spray tan. I wish I could attach photos of her work just to show you how amazing she is. Check out her website to see her portfolio and her bridal shots.

Jess was very considerate throughout my whole w ed doing process, from the day I had my trial to the big day. She always made sure to check in during the days leading up to the wedding . Jess truly cares about each and every single one of her brides as well as clients. She wants to give you the most stress free, and relaxing getting ready process that she can give. For me she even created a schedule with all my bridesmaids times which made it super easy on my end. Thank you jess for everything you did for me and my girls :) -

So Easy to Work with!
Jessica did my bridal party’s hair and make-up for my big day in August. She did an amazing job! With the few pictures and rough ideas that we each gave her, she was able to bring our visions to life! I am so far from a make-up expert and it was amazing what she was able to create with the little bit of information I gave her! She was also super receptive to feedback; there were a few things that I wanted to modify after the trial, and she made the changes without a fuss! I wish she could do my hair and make-up every single day! -

Jessica is extremely unprofessional to work with and I would not recommend her to any bride, especially those having their weddings anywhere in PA. I had made an appointment with Jessica months in advance for a trial and made it a point to let her know of my unique circumstances - I am from NY and was making a trip to Lancaster, PA where my wedding in November is to meet with all of my vendors. Jessica agreed to travel to my hotel for the trial, on my own expense, even before we had signed the contract because this is something that was important to me. I agreed to pay $100 more for my trial for her travel expenses. My husband took days off of work to be able to take a trip to meet with all of our vendors. Two days before my trial, Jessica tells me Lancaster is "too far for her to travel" and that she "didn't realize it was that far" from her. "For some reason I thought it was closer to 1.5 hours". She told me that she wouldn't be able to come to my trial two days before even though we had agreed on it, signed a contract, paid extra and made an entire trip around the appointment. This is even after following up with her multiple times to triple confirm the appointment at my hotel in Lancaster. Even after all of this, she put the blame on me claiming that this was my fault and that she did not know where my hotel was after confirming with her that we would be staying in Lancaster. Jessica advertises as being a PA hair stylist; It is not my fault that she did not properly look up where my venue was or the location of Lancaster where I had told her I would be staying when I originally reached out to her, instead she went off of where she thought it was. We signed our contract after agreeing to this - had she not agreed, I would have understood and moved on with my hair stylist search. Now I am stuck scrambling trying to find someone available for my wedding in November. PA brides please stay away and look elsewhere!! Do not make the mistake I unfortunately did
